Had an email stating my transfer of direct shares to havelock is complete. However if I log into Havelock, I can't see any of the shares. Has anyone else had this problem?

Who sent you the email confirmation?

fnnirvana@gmail.com

Ah just re-read the import process. Havelock have a 48 hour import window. fnnirvana@gmail.com emailed me early yesterday so I guess i'll wait another 24 hours.

Exactly. Took some time for me also.

In the meantime we prepare for the next dump. ^^

Actually, I think someone exported a few shares - the count was over 29500 within the past few days

Very good, that's the spirit! Being able to grab some shares at 0.1 BTC is quite remarkable. This is like the IPO all over again Cheesy

You make it sound like it is a good thing these are trading @ IPO prices again. I would say that is not really a good thing at all.

Sometimes, when people concentrated on something too long, they forget that there're other choices. It's understandable for the heavy investors to look closely at the AM progress, but I don't see any reason for new comers to do so. We all know that no matter how well the AM performs, the mining industry can never be as profitable as last year, and we can never expect the dividend can be 6 times as much as the IPO price any more. AM may achieve around 20% network hash rate share again this year, but remember this time the profit margin is tiny (if not negative).  Therefore, although the network share is similar to last year, the profit is way less.

I agree that maybe AM is still the only reasonable choice for investing on BTC stocks (considering most others are just scams or incompetent amateurs), but whether it is still reasonable to invest on BTC stocks or not is a big question mark in itself.

From a selfish perspective it is good for me.

I originally held AM quite some time ago, sold them to invest elsewhere, however that elsewhere caused me to have to start from scratch with my BTC stocks.
Therefore I've been able to buy back in at an affordable rate.

But for long term holders I can see how hard it must be...

Can we please get an update from a board member or fried cat? Wasn't a PR person appointed?  This silence by all parties is pretty annoying.

I believe it was implied that the reason for the selloff was exactly that the last imports just came through and the respective shares have been dumped immediately.
