.... Rockxie/rockminer is partnering with AM to handle the PR side of things. ....
I think it's more than that. There's no reason to partner with other company just to aquire some PR. And AM wouldn't seek PR person just to double jobs positions... I wrote this earlier: How much does AM profit from this deal anyway? For every GH sold on havelock, how much does AM get ?
I'm understandig this AMHash thing that way: AM is selling tubes/prismas in bulk with a little lower price than 1.0BTC/TH to RM. With delayed payment agreement. RM is building a farm (adding PSU, infrastructure etc.) and selling shares of that farm (1.25BTC/TH). When IPO will close RM will pay for hardware to AM. If not all shares will be sold RM will mine for AM, taking maintenance fee (or AM will be the owner of shares). Deducted from previous answers of rockxie. How did you come to that conclusion? The second sentence in the AMhash thread makes it pretty clear: In this contract, the hashrate is provided by ASICMiner, the management is provided by RockMiner, and the platform is provided by HavelockInvestments.

this means nothing, if not just supporting at the very best Dexter's point.

this means nothing, if not just supporting at the very best Dexter's point. It says AM is providing the hashrate.. That means it's AM's farm and RM is just managing the cloudmining. Hopefully these posts make it more clear: RM now are going to cooperate with AM in many parts, such as marketing,sales,R&D...etc.
In fact, AM is trying to change, and some changes have been made, AMHash is a clear signal.
The reason why we started AMHhash project is based on factors below:
1 Most of customers's electricity is not cheap enough for mining right now and AM find the right place to deploy.
1. Before IPO closes, ASICMiner has the right to buy back at the price of IPO price * 100.5%.

From the last update from FC, it is clear there will not be any dividends, not in the short or medium term. Long term there is simply no way to know if AM will make any money at all.
Until dividends happen, and that's a very long time, price will simply continue to fall.
AM has over 4PH of hashing power right now, due to AMHash "fiasco". Tapeout of Gen4 is done that means majority of expenses are done. Learning from past they will no longer order 20% network hashing power in chips. So to stay in bussiness they don't need that many $, propably current hardware sales will cover expenses needed for Gen4. Meanwhile 4PH is hashing and friedcat wrote that it's not the end of mining expanding... Divs in this year, remember my words AM likely has far more than 4 PH/s hashing right now. They've been building their farm since mid July. That 5 Ph/s is just a small slice set aside for the specific purpose of selling mining contracts. Update
1. Due to the relatively lower interest from individual miners as well as OEM producers, the self mining has re-started from middle of July. We had gain access of cheap electricity and high power capacity. We hope to regain the average hashrate percentage similar to 2013 with this generation of chips.

Do you think AM self mining is bigger or smaller than KnC farm?

Do you think AM self mining is bigger or smaller than KnC farm? No idea. Here's some info for you though. 1700 AMHash shares are equivalent to running an SP20 with electricity costs of 0.1 $/kWh, only they cost less than half the price of an SP20 and there's simply no hassle. Do you think SP20's are terrible value given the above info? Do you think Spondoolies' are ripping off their customers by not offering competitive products?

Do you think AM self mining is bigger or smaller than KnC farm? Remember the good old days where you could just go to blockchain.info/pools and see the AM's share of the network? And from that, infer the actual hashing power? I wish ASICMINER had a bit more transparency, at least about what is actually going on, how much hashing power is deployed, etc.

Okay so, how did this get derailed to a thread about Scotland? Had to double-check if I this is the right thread. Anyways: What's up on Havelock? Insane amount of bids and some distinct upward-pressure going on. Anything that I've missed? 1000 share wall at .09 Yeah that's basically what was puzzling me. Where did this wall come from? But I guess no one knows jack - as always Would be great if this was some board member who is confident enough to buy back some of their shares they may have sold in an attempt to hedge for potentially worse times. Yes, it could be. Some of us may just have grown tired of seeking out holders on the forums in private deals for large lots of shares. This way the order can be filled from the 31k shares on AM1, a relatively easier method than working private messages back and forth. The order will be filled, I am sure. I imagine it's artificial to drive up the price, but well see how long it's there for. The market can't support a 100BTC buy order so anyone with that money would naturally do 10btc a day or so not all at once.

No, Spondoolies is free to charge whatever prices they want. I think people who buy their products are idiots (looking at you, RoadStress - remember to check your fire extinguisher).

maybe because everyone is getting sick of users whoring out themselves for pennies in advertising money? Everyone knows about the prisma - If anything ill avoid buying it because of the 5+ ads for it i see in every page of every thread recently. not to mention actual reviews indicate an unreliable unit with RPI issues

Havelock - this is rather minor, but if you're paying attention, could you correct the ASICMINER market cap to be price*400,000 instead of price*shares on the exchange? Quickie one-line edit, keeps the funds page looking sharp. Additionally, correcting the yields would be cool too (move it from an annualized model to a MA YTD or something less ambiguous).

Market cap is correct. Its not showing asicminer marketcap, but that of AM1 or AM100.

Do you think SP20's are terrible value given the above info? Do you think Spondoolies' are ripping off their customers by not offering competitive products? Stick to the subject maybe? You accuse me of praising SP-Tech in every post that I make. Here you bring up the SP-Tech into our discussion. I don't care what you care about the SP20 value. Let the customers decide that! The topic here is AM and what is AM doing, not the value of some other company miners. But I forget that nobody knows what the fuck is going on with AM so I will ignore your small derail. So when I asked how do you think AM is going to sell/deploy 60 PH worth of chips you refused a discussion. Now I am trying to discuss about the big large farms and you refuse again. How about a talk about colors? Would you like that? Maybe that will make you forget about the competitors because it seems you only think about them instead of focusing on your investment. Remember the good old days where you could just go to blockchain.info/pools and see the AM's share of the network? And from that, infer the actual hashing power? I wish ASICMINER had a bit more transparency, at least about what is actually going on, how much hashing power is deployed, etc.
Of course I do. There was even a speed-o-meter for that. Now it's only dust in the air. I see KnC, I see AntFarm, I see other big pools. AM has nothing to show right now. But we are not allowed to say that because the angry shareholders gang will show up to tell you that you have an ugly face and that your equipment sucks.
