In Europe there is a hot new pertaining to a company whose going to introduce paying bitcoins to their employees. But given the instability of the bitcoins market value is it an advantage for the employees or an disadvantage. In my opinion this kind of payment for salary is not yet beneficial to employees not until bitcoins price has become stabled. Though if bitcoin will start to increase its monetary value it can be advantageuos but if not then it is a peril to the employees. So what do you think, what is your opinion on this matter?

Interesting question bitcoin as salary ? Well for me there is no problem with using bitcoin as payment. the real problem of bitcoin is the volatility of it. But if you'll already have local wallet and bitcoin wallet like coins.ph who already had. You can send direct to local currency so the problem of the volatility of bitcoin is solve. You only decide what you want local currency or bitcoin.

That is really a very great support to the bitcoin, with that bitcoin has got a bigger image and after that I can imagine that bitcoin will get the chances to become international currency as bitcoin after supports like that will get fame all over the world and will be established sooner.

As long as (for now) the BitCoins paid were pegged to a Fiat Currency then it wouldn't be a problem, especially if you were then able to use the BTC for services in your area.
In today's market I would be hesitant to receive "X" amount of BitCoins as a salary. As a bonus maybe, but not as the salary.

For Regular Job? No because you cant be sure how much the exchange rate it will be when you receive it after your working 8 hours a day. what if you you have fixed 1 btc sallary every month and that month the btc exchange rate price is only 250$ would you be happy?. bitcoin today has no stable price yet to make it use as a sallary for daily regular job. so NONONO for me.

I personally wouldn't mind my wages being paid in Bitcoin, since they'd be easily transactable and fairly liquid, and could be a good investment for whatever I wouldn't have to use immediately. I would maybe prefer for 3/4 of my wages to be paid in fiat and the remainder to be paid in Bitcoin, because that way I can be sure that I'll have money to over my expenses and still have a portion paid in Bitcoin. Maybe if the employer offers some insurance against swings in the market, I can see something like this working.

I agree if payments via bitcoin. but the problem is the instability of the price of bitcoin. if it is true, then the company must send bitcoin to be based on the dollar. it will be more stable, as we continue to receive the same amount of money. dollars that have been converted into bitcoin then sent to our wallet.

For online jobs I would prefer to receive bitcoin as my salary but if it is my regular and permanent job , no I don't want bitcoin to be my salary I would still like to have my salary in fiat . And yes maybe bitcoin becomes larger but it is not a world leading currency it will always be USD to the leading currency bitcoin is only a worlds leading cryptocurrency . And also it is not a good idea to have you salary in bitcoin because anytime it can be fluctuate to the lower price .

Sounds nice but not yet i would love this to happen in the near future where we will able to buy almost everything with btc and use it daily but since bitcoin is not massive yet i would have to exchange them to fiat money to pay for simple things like food, drinks etc.

Of course the current volatility of bitcoin make it very inconvenient to receive your salary on btc, especially because employees depend on steady incomes to cover their expenses and they can't afford to be impacted by an unexpected drop in the bitcoin price.

I would like a small percentage of my wages to be paid in bitcoin. Maybe 5-10% max though. I don't know any grocery store or bank that accepts bitcoins as payment so paying on the mortgage or buying groceries will need fiat.

The volability wouldn't matter if the company is paying the fiat equivalent. Correct me if I'm wrong.

no i will not accept bitcoin currency as salary because of its fluctuating nature. sometimes it can happen that my salary is given to me in btc but after sometime btc price crashes and i need urgent money so i have to cashout whatever i have in btc to fiat. i would loose much money at that time. so i use btc just to get extra benefits and buy btc with extra money which i can afford to loose. i cannot accept it as my primary income. sorry.

I'll be happy to receive my salary in Bitcoins but if I will be allowed to make a choice I would request it to be in half since I receive my salary on 15th and 30th, It would be great if every 15th its in Bitcoins and every 30th it's in Fiat, that way I don't need to convert to Fiat if needed.

if it is like a second job's salary then yes but if it is supposed to be my first salary and as bitcoin only then no i don't like it.
mainly because i still need fiat to live my life and spend money so receiving only bitcoin means i have to do a conversion every day that i want to spend also the price is so volatile that i can't feel safe if i receive everything in bitcoin.

of course, it would be very nice, but I only accept bitcoin as my salary unless it is my side job. well. I do not want my main salary paid using bitcoin, because then I would support my family from my main job. but I hope that I get a salary in the form of bitcoin was, above 1.5 BTC. I think the salary as it was a very good salary

As of now, I dont want to accept bitcoin as a salary for my Job in real word or outside of this cyberworld. I have many reason why i dont want it. My reason is What if my salary send bitcoin at high price of bitcoin and the bitcoin price will dump so my salary is not exact at the amount so i need to wait it? But if the price of bitcoin will be stable like other currency i will accept it.

Interesting question, now we see how much people wish for stability. And people don't like to risk btc to go down after receiving salary. I think we will need to wait for something like that to happen. Also there is questions about limited amount of coins. Can everyone work for btc? Will there be enough coins for everyone to receive salary in bitcoin?
