Will you accept bitcoin as your salary?

I would love to get my salary in bitcoins.There is not much problem but if I have to choose then I will take fiat because I cannot use bitcoins in daily real life and exchanging them to fiat will cost some fees so I will choose fiat.

the bitcoin can be used to load your debit card so you can withdraw your funds everytime you want and use it as normal credit card which most of your local bank provided,simple as that,and it's sure can solve the exchanging problem

I would accept btc as a salary! at the end of the month you take your salary, do some swings on the trade charts not something greedy tho (no more than 10% profit) ofc you dont leave your salary out of your eyes ^^ while trading and pull out.
But wait.. im doing that already! every month im converting a portion of my salary to btc for savings!

well it's actually exchanging the bitcoin to fiat because those bitcoin debit cards provider sometimes took fees from it or lowering the price per bitcoin to dollars so they can take profit from it, but it's worth a try

We love bitcoin but in the salary way I think most of the people refer to convert their salary in a fiat currency. Because in this way if we get salary in bitcoin so we have only selected things can buy it, and most of the difficulties are here to buying the different things, if all over the world, people use the bitcoins like fiat currency so we have no problem to get our salary in bitcoins, but it takes some time.

If I am working online, I may accept to get my salary on bitcoin because of its low fees. but if it is an offline job, why would I get it in bitcoin then I have to exchange it ? getting it directly in fiat will be easier

actually i would say that fee's are bigger on btc than if i get bank transfer or something,at least in my case.
But it is comfortable for me and i see for you too,and this is the most important thing about recieving salary.

But i do not think you like if you get salary unstable because the price of bitcoin is fluctuating its good if the price is high and how about if the price will go down i think you will protest in your company.

Maybe you can ask them to pay a partial amount in bitcoins like for example the overtime you do in your office you can ask them to pay in bitcoins and I don't really know why people still cry as kids for people fluctuations.

No, if I also agree my company will not pay haha Because it is illegal currency in mu country. And one more thing I am not interested in taking my salary in Bitcoin. Because if I receive my salary through Bitcoin and next day, the price of bioticon went down means what I have to do. So I don't take the risk.

I think it's illegal or not will not make bitcoin be ugly the fact that now many countries prohibit bitcoin but bitcoin still a lot of
establishments that accept bitcoin payments even adopted. for today is the consideration is the level of fluctuation in bitcoin

I am receiving salary on daily basis.
Bitcoin to local currency transfer cost is within my capacity.
My regular creditors are comfortable with payments in bitcoins.
I can set off my majority of expenses with the bitcoin payment.
I am expecting stable rate of bitcoin.
I am assured with the security of my bitcoin balance.
I am having good investment opportunities through bitcoins.

If most of the conditions are satisfied, I’m okay with my salary payments in bitcoins.

That'd be.. weird somehow, in my country there are just a few shops I can pay with Bitcoin at. For other countries (UK/US/NL), maybe it wouldn't be too bad. I'd love to be paid in Gold though, haha

For me its a no, i do not want to receive my salary fluctuating. But if the bitcoin price not fluctuating instead the value in continuous rising maybe i would say that i like to accept my salary in terms of bitcoin.

I am from NL, and here where I live there is literally no place I can spend any of my coins.

But even if they did accept Bitcoin everywhere I wouldn't want to get paid in Bitcoin as the volatility is too severe.

I can simply convert a certain part of my salary to Bitcoin, which I am already doing, but more for long term storage.

IMO i will not accept bitcoin as my salary because it's very risky because the price is unpredictable and it easy for us to loss some money if the price would go down.
I will just only accept bitcoin as another kind of payment method from selling goods, but in salary? nah

Right now, accepting bitcoin as a form of payment for my salary would be very beneficial since there is somewhat an expected increase in the value of bitcoins. I am not sure in the future though but I think I would not mind the little fluctuations that are happening.

I would definitely accept Bitcoin as my salary. I'm already accepting it partially as my salary for the Sig campaign I'm working. If I had a chance to receive all my earnings in Bitcoins I'd love to accept it.

If we could pay in bitcoin majority of our expenses... why not? If very much people accept salary in bitcoin, this reason will generate very much more stability to the market.

It's easy:
If you don't spend all your salary, you can afford it...
If you spend all of your salary... you can't afford it. And you could have problems in future with your finances, with or without bitcoin.

I am seeing that here on this forum every person is receiving their salary in bitcoin for  their work as marketing in the signature campaigns, and they are very happy with that currency so the same will also happen in the physical world when the companies will pay in bitcoins.

It will be great idea and will be another good development for my country since it will make bitcoiner like easier to do some transaction easier and cheaper rather than I'm using fiat. of course it would be really great though too bad i cannot manage to get my salary in bitcoins, i think that the price is fluctuating too much for people to earn money with it

It is nice to see companies and others embracing Bitcoin and trying new things with it.  Even if the ideas don't work out, it is still good for Bitcoin as a whole.

I've used Bitcoin for several years but it would be very difficult for me to accept it as my salary (for reasons others have pointed out).

The biggest issue I see is price volatility.  Your salary would still have to be denoted in Euros or USD and NOT Bitcoin.  As an example, if you make $100 and get paid $100 worth of Bitcoin that is a lot more attractive than saying something  like "You'll make 0.15BTC, despite the price".

But perhaps that isn't the biggest issue.  I've lost bitcoins before due to hard drive failure, losing private key, scammers, etc.  The logic may be secure, but we still screw up and our Bitcoins disappear.  It's one thing to have a couple bucks disappear, it'd be an entirely different story to have a two week (or more) paycheck vaporize.  So another concern is holding onto the Bitcoin once they've been paid/earned.

And, of course, you can't buy (all) the stuff you NEED (yet) with Bitcoin, so using it as a primary source of income to purchase stuff you need but can't buy with the currency you are paid with just adds confusion and complexity and another bitcoin adoption hurdle.

Hopefully this will slowly change in the future but for now, if my salary was paid in Bitcoin, I would immediately convert it to something with stable value that can be used to pay bills, buy food, etc.

Until Bitcoin can be used to satisfy our everyday needs and bills, it'll be tough selling it as a salary replacement.  Just my 2 Satoshi opinion.
