If situation changes with mass adoption and increase in bitcoin acceptance over the offline or local stores, I would prefer to get 50% of my salary in the form of bitcoin. The reason why I take only 50% is that any thing can happen at any time as its completely decentralized.

In Europe there is a hot new pertaining to a company whose going to introduce paying bitcoins to their employees. But given the instability of the bitcoins market value is it an advantage for the employees or an disadvantage. In my opinion this kind of payment for salary is not yet beneficial to employees not until bitcoins price has become stabled. Though if bitcoin will start to increase its monetary value it can be advantageuos but if not then it is a peril to the employees. So what do you think, what is your opinion on this matter?

Yes,i don't have a bank account and i don't want to make one, bitcoin salaries can make life much easier.

If you're holding a bitcoin debit card, then accepting your salary in bitcoin would be more beneficial than getting it in fiats as of now. Because, in my case I am converting my salary into bitcoin for my saving and for gambling spending. If I do directly get bitcoins that would save more time for me which is usually occurring with conversion.
yes it easier for our time. we just need a new concept that enables companies we work no loss. and also we are not harmed. we should be able to make both sides comfortable with each other. This is a difficult job.

To me it really does not matter what way I get my salary.
The most important thing is that I get it.
No bro it should matter as bitcoin and fiat are totally different as you are a newbie you still need to know many basic things about bitcoins, you get salary of $650 worth bitcoin and after some weeks it dropped to $400 then will it be not important too that what way you get your salary ?

The guy has a point.

it should be a big problem if you are promised to have a salary in bitcoin or in fiat yet come the day where you get to be paid, you didn't receive it. That just completely ruin the whole scenario for you've just been scammed. Receiving compensation fee either in btc or fiat matters the most.

I prefer to be choosing what salary. For example I can choose whether I'll be receiving cash or bitcoin. As it give me advantage to the prices of currency. Well having BTC as salary is like Investing to as well we just need to have it at the right time.

Good thing about accpeting bitcoin as a salary is that you can get all your salary and give only few payout fees. If you are a part of our country that gets 12% tax from your salary then i guess i would consider this one
12% tax? I only know one country that has that kind of tax and I'm guessing it's the Philippines, right? I have a few Filipino friends and we had one discussion about tax and they mentioned theirs is at 12% which is really high!

If that is the case here, I would have to accept bitcoins as payment partially because I may want to avoid that 12% tax because that's just too much. For every $100 you earn, you lose $12.

No and never. The reason is bitcoin price is dynamic and it can go up or down anytime. Salary is really important to fulfill all my liabilities. I can't take a hit on this.

So after receiving my salary in bitcoin, if the price goes down, I will be in losses. Salary is something which I can't experiment with.

For people like you getting salary in bitcoin will be much better as with that you will save your time which you will give to convert your fiat into bitcoin and the other point is that when someone convert his money into bitcoin then he pay fees to the bank and to the exchange in order to deposit them to bitcoin exchange and in order to convert them to bitcoin, so that fees will also be saved.

it depends .actually  u get ur salary today asnd its price is high ..and u wait for itsprice to go up .but then u suddenly see that bitcoin s price has gone down very rapily .asu know bitcoin is not so stable .its graph is increasing and decreasing ..u cant accept it as ur salary until and unless the price of bitcoin is stable . I would accept but who will pay the fees Tongue, seriously I would accept the payment on bitcoin for salary because I and other employee would start using and spending bitcoin for many things that we weren't doing before, for example we would join trading bitcoin to fiat and maybe altcoins too, so this would be a good marketing for bitcoin.

well, if it is possible to accept bitcoin as my salary then i'll go for it since bitcoin is non - taxable and very convenient to use. i just hope that someday, bitcoin will be acceptable and well - known worldwide Cheesy
You are right, when bitcoin is well known by most of the people then getting salary in bitcoin will not remain dream after that. Hopefully bitcoin might reach mainstream of payments system very soon to enforce the employers to think about paying their employees with bitcoin.
That is definitely going to happen, but the big question is when. But we can make that is possible right away if we are demanding employers to pay salary in bitcoin. I guess in some MNCs, already people are opting for bitcoin payments but not sure how much true that was, even it was featured  in Yahoo news few months back.

Hell no! I wouldn't even if it was the last available option as a payout.
You see last night what happen to the price? It tanked quite a bit.
So if you were taking it as a salary would you take a 5% pay cut in a 7 hour period of time?
I thought not  Undecided Sad

I like bitcoin and bitcoin is money and at the same time an investment asset so why not?  I don't see any problem with accepting bitcoin as my salary because i can always convert it to money when i need one.  It would be an issue if bitcoin will no longer be converted to money.

I will not like to accept Bitcoin as salary even I have 5 Bitcoins in my holdings on long term basis. I know I can not hold those Bitcoin received as salary and there is no use of receiving them if I have to convert them into fiat after all. I would rather buy whenever I will have extra money remaining after paying all utilities and food money. This is reason why I will to accept not because of price ups and downs.

Maybe it's not a good idea to take the measure now. The volatility can bring great instability on your earnings, not only positively but also negatively.

Yup, agree with that. Bitcoin as salary is very inconvenient. First you have to make it as cash and i have a hard time to find where to encash. Second the fees you have to pay when you withdraw your bitcoin. Third if the sudden drop occurs im worrying about that coz instead you earn, it will decrease coz sudden drop occurs

Very good thinking. Why not just do it yourself right? I prefer it that way. With an automatic bitcoin exchange in your salary you cannot control it. What if you dont want to buy yet and waiting for the lower price.
