I receive my salary in bitcoin. I have a foreign employer and I convert it basically right away. It makes for instant paychecks and no foreign fees.
In your case bitcoin as payment is really a good option. You get no tax and easily gets your salary rather than having it in fiat. Tax would be the issue which bitcoin can defeat. |

But I very curious to hear opinions from some people in here, and in this time about the bitfinex cases the price of bitcoin is dropping drastically and whether the people is still wanna to receiving their payment or salary into BTC form?  I don't think much people are actually getting their salary in bitcoin because of many reason but these 2 are main : They need money for daily need while bitcoins cant be spent, and other reason the boss might not agree to pay in btc. |

Actually, I would have a difficulty receiving my salary in bitcoin, as then my employer can see what I spend when and maybe where.
I'd prefer to be paid in a more anonymous coin, such as DASH or Monero.

Do you have a debit card or credit car? if yes then you are able to spend them easily, go to cex.io exchange or any other exchange where you can transfer your bitcoin to your debit/credit card and can easily spend it for your daily needs. |

I got my 1 bitcoin as my salary when price 650 and sudddenly price go 520 WTF, i dont want it

You are true we should have to accept our salary in bitcoin if we will want to increase the value of bitcoin, more and more companies have to adopt bitcoin for their business and for the payment to their servants and all of us have to accept payment with bitcoin, with that bitcoin will become a global currency.
Really dude? you want to receive a salary bitcoin? because I think employees should be given the right to choose, but it is different if it is required by the country and there are laws that regulate the salaries of employees should be in the form of bitcoin. Because according to me for bitcoin is still not widely accepted by society bitcoin prices tend to be unstable. And if all the governments in the world accept bitcoin then this will guarantee security and make bitcoin price stability. But for now I do not think so, because bitcoin prices still volatile. In Europe there is a hot new pertaining to a company whose going to introduce paying bitcoins to their employees. But given the instability of the bitcoins market value is it an advantage for the employees or an disadvantage. In my opinion this kind of payment for salary is not yet beneficial to employees not until bitcoins price has become stabled. Though if bitcoin will start to increase its monetary value it can be advantageuos but if not then it is a peril to the employees. So what do you think, what is your opinion on this matter?

At bitcoin's present state, it would be hard to accept it as salary, considering how volatile the price can be. Imagine receiving your salary today and the price suddenly drops by 10%. It is surely not nice to have a salary that fluctuates every so often. |

Well it is risky though the price is fluctuating and that's a 50/50 chance if you are going to accept bitcoin as salary. Just like what happened yesterday if your salary is $580 then yesterday the price did fall to $550 so you lose already $30 but the good thing about it is that you are going to have a chance to get higher too if the price fluctuates higher. Okay, it's not a problem if he wanna to receiving their salary as bitcoin form and just for holding it or investment and not using for the daily needs or he's living. it's fine. |
