Nope, i don't like to exchange my salary into fiat everytime, cause in my country bitcoin is still not accpeted and i am still wating for it, but i think it will not happen.

Me too I don't want to accept my salary for bitcoin because for me that is going to be risky at all and also here in my country the use of bitcoin is just limited. But if our country is going to be one of the most consumer of bitcoin then I am going to accept bitcoin as salary. Even it is going to be risky as long as there are stores that are going to accept then I am willing.
We are not the same but for me i want to receive my salary as bitcoin if if we are always relay in the present price of bitcoin..
Also after i receive bitcoin i can convert it fast in fiat here in my country..
I think the price is very volatile bitcoin prices may fall and rise very quickly.
That is correct, just for  example this day i receive my salary into bitcoin form and at this day i can losing some of my salary caused by the volatile of bitcoin price.

yes if it happens we will be loss, also are not sure the boss will replace our lost wages because bitcoin prices down.
so it is very risky receive a salary with bitcoin, it is still better to use fiat, no need to convert that surely will cost too.

That will take time for it to happen. You see it is like in 10 malls only 1 is accepting it. That is way too low for a perventage of stores. I wont do it also. Even if I am a CEO of a company I wont give my employees that hassle.

It would  be very hassle to someone  if they exchange everytime their bitcoins to fiat because as  same as other said  bitcoin is not fully adopted in their country and some  dont accept bitcoin as a payment  especially to stores.  For sure in the future   bitcoins adoption regarding  on merchants would increase  in the future.

Well some of the debit cards that exist would probably be one of the best ways to overcome an obstacle that shows itself like that, mostly due to the fact that while it is a hassle to constantly change Bitcoin into fiat to buy things, the debit card can relatively simply do that for you without much of an issue. If there are more merchants that would accept Bitcoin directly, that would be pretty great.

You have a point if that way would be implemented then it would be  a great feature and would give convenience to us if we prefer to receive bitcoin as our salary because you wont be hassled anymore on exchanging it everytime. Hopefully it would be developed in the near future.

Yes, i do want to receive salary by bitcoin. However, the country which i am living in does not considered bitcoin as currency. People still think that bitcoin is something crab and stupid. And the government try to prevent people from using it. So it may takes decades until they accept bitcoin

It doesn't matter with me as long as I can cash out in fiat in exchange of my bitcoins. Its not actually a big deal so far so I am currently earning bitcoin online and I am using it regularly to pay my expenses and even for investment and trading.

That is your  income apart from your salary, and more you work in bitcoin more you will earn it, but getting fixed income in bitcoins as a salary can be risky because it will vary according to the price of bitcoin.

ya bitcoin is a volatile currency and it is very risky to have your fixed and full time income in bitcoins.Earning in bitcoin should be the extra income with other source of income as well which can help you save from your full time income and also helps you in any bad time.

The point of having a job is to get a stable payout; having it in Bitcoin would mean that your salary would constantly have to be adjusted to achieve the amount of money you're trying to get. It would work out, but it'd be pretty unprofitable for your employer, as well as you, since price changes every day and you might need money someday, and the price of bitcoin just happens to be low that day.

I would. but that's because I'm one of those wackos that think the US dollar is in a bubble that is eventually going to burst. (Not sure when, not sure I can believe the stories that try to say when.)

As for the volatility, I'd hold what I could and prefer to change to fiat when needed when it's up or in a serious emergency to where I didn't have a choice.

Taking bitcoin as a salary also helps enforce a 1099 relationship which would benefit my particular situation.

That said, I've been lurking on the services board for awhile without posting an offer for my services because it seems newbie accounts like mine are viewed as either scammers or prey, which I definitely am not interested in falling into the second category.

I agree with you that bitcoin is unstable so I would not accept bitcoin as salary because there is limited use of bitcoin nowadays and its price is fluctuating. In case that there is emergency and I need money, I still need fiat immediately and if its in bitcoin then I still need to convert it which needs a little more time.

Well same here in my country but I don't know why I am not feeling good to accept it from my office. Maybe I just used to accept cash instead of bitcoin from office. But if the company really requires bitcoin as their payment for our work then I don't have choice but to follow the rules of the company and just accept it.

well if only that happens , that your salary should be based on bitcoin it is not good to hear but there's an easy solution for you can file a resignation letter if you don't like their rules on the payroll . we still have a choice, we can move to another company .

I see some people who say they will not accept bitcoin as a form of payment for their job, but I do not understand why.  You get paid in one form or another.  All you have to do is transfer your bitcoin to the bank account if you do not like to use Bitcoin.

For right now, the price is $580 price, why not? Bitcoin can grow more at any day and it's very good so at my opinion better to recive salary in bitcoins. But for somebody it's maybe not so good

I would probably accept it IF it is somehow above the market rate and I don't have much bills to pay. The reality is that bitcoin is too volatile to be a form of salary but some other people would gladly accept it if they don't really need to convert to cash very often.

In Europe there is a hot new pertaining to a company whose going to introduce paying bitcoins to their employees. But given the instability of the bitcoins market value is it an advantage for the employees or an disadvantage. In my opinion this kind of payment for salary is not yet beneficial to employees not until bitcoins price has become stabled. Though if bitcoin will start to increase its monetary value it can be advantageuos but if not then it is a peril to the employees. So what do you think, what is your opinion on this matter?
if all employees in pay bitcoin it becomes easy for company but see the bad side when prices fell employee bitcoin loss and company will benefit price I think there should be an agreement for the employee.
unless the price is equal to total revenue bitcoin although prices fell employee income remains the same fair enough

It is not applicable that bitcoin would be the form of salary using by the company because of the fluctuation of the price that is not good in both parties. We can pretend that we like to received our salary in terms of bitcoin because we only consider the current price of bitcoin.
