Good question.  Cheesy

I think I will pass with that. I cannot imagine having a salary using bitcoin. It might be a disaster to the employer and employees.
I guess you must be from third world countries. Only in those countries where you people do not have the sufficient opportunities to get an spend bitcoins, you might thinking using bitcoin payments as a disaster. Because many people around the world are eagerly waiting to get their salary in bitcoin as they are having many opportunity to "use" it for their daily life

nope you can see there are many people working on bitcoin well it is working part-time. or working full time in bitcoin.
they all get their salary or income of bitcoin and it was not a problem for them? because you can easily convert to fiat

I dont think will accept my salry with bitcoin,
My reason:

1. Bitcoin isn't too popular in my country
2. If i received my salary at btc price $650 then btc down to $500 after that i can lose much my salary

So i like my salary with real money.

But price could also go up to 800 and you suddenly have 20% more salary..

The thing is that it will even out over several months. And like i said earlier, they shouldn't take the price level at time of payment, but the average price of the month. This way, you are somewhat protected from price swings.

Yeah I think if we as a people who have regular salaried bitcoin and indeed sites signature campaign to give money in the form of bitcoin was not a problem, but what about the companies that have nothing to do with bitcoin and salaries in the form of bitcoin I think the employees harmed by that matter. Although you can simply replace it with fiat, but sometimes it can not be done directly. Since there is no perfect system.

Yeah, the swing in price is really bothersome.. It's good if the price won't move much in a month, but if it moves a lot, make atleast two to three swings in a month, I don't think that it is still good for our salary, imagine if the price is low at the time that we need to spend our salary.  Smiley

Personally, I wouldn't take BTC as a salary, I think its too volatile - I prefer to invest part of my salary into BTC as opposed to transferring BTC to fiat. If there is a massive negative shift in market conditions (maybe another MtGox) then the price may become too low and may have to rely on savings and investments to pay for living expenses, which also means you would have to have a diverse portfolio to counter a systemic shift in crypto, meaning that you'd have to transfer a lot of crypto to fiat for security.

I like to take measured risks and the risk of a salary in BTC would be too dangerous for me.

As a second income however, i'd be more than happy to earn bitcoin.

I would not accept Bitcoin as a salary because that means that your salary is never going to be stable which is not good.
I need to make sure that I am going to make this much money this month so I also know how much I can save.

You got a valid point here, but the question is, if all of your activity requires Bitcoin, wont  you be forced to accept or would you rather choose the option of receiving salary in Bitcoion?  So as for me for all of my activity now have relation with bitcoin, i would gladly receive Bitcoin as my salary.

If bitcoin is not popular in your country then with the news of bitcoin salaries in your country it will get a good fame and people will start to know about bitcoin, and with that more people will start to adopt bitcoin and you will be able to buy things with that and will be able to pay with bitcoin for any thing , and the other point is that, it is not sure that after you get the salary and immediately it will drop down to $500, it is also the possibility that you get bitcoin at the price of $650 and after the second day of your salary it reach to $700 or more.

I cant use bitcoin in all the places in my real life so I prefer to be paid with my local currency nowadays. Eventhough we can convert our bitcoin to fiat at any time, but that involved a lot of work to do. Maybe, in the future when a lot of offline merchants accept bitcoin as the payment method, then I will change my decision

You can also choose to sign up for a Bitcoin related debit card, which will allow you to practically pay everywhere in the world with your Bitcoins.

Xapo is one of the better Bitcoin related debit cards to use as the reviews it has are very decent.

You can even use it to withdraw money from any ATM in the world, but the fees for ATM withdrawals are a bit too high if you ask me.

If you don't want any of that and are just waiting for the day that a lot local stores are accepting Bitcoin as form of payment, then you need to have a lot patience. I am waiting for this to happen as well.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

Probably, yes. My life is projected into becoming a programmer someday. I surely will do online stuffs when I finish my course. If I get paid using bitcoin as my salary, then I wouldn't mind it at all. Getting paid with fiat sometimes is such a hassle tbh. Paypal freezes your account with no reason. I don't want to wait 180 days to get the money I own. Also, if I'm lucky and bitcoin price has risen after the client paid me, then that's extra profit for me.

I think it may be true, But you need to know from you complaining in the bitcoin. I had a few things from the advantages of using bitcoin. 1. even though the price is unstable, but it is so beneficial for us in having a very good patience. 2. Indeed it is still rare, because very few companies that still accept bitcoin. But this can be overcome by swapping bitcoin to fiat. 3. did not have warranties, but the big advantage of promising bitcoin when we can wait

yes that right, and that is what i am also thinking, that bitcoin is not accepting in our area in shopping center or in other areas like banks for paying school fees, for paying utility bills and for mobile recharge, so i am receiving my salary in bitcoin i will certainly exchange in fiat again and will fulfill the daily needs, although in present time i am even investing my salary in bitcoin because i am feeling that the price of bitcoin will increase but it is not for permanent, after some time i will not invest my salary any more in bitcoin and then i will feel to spend it for shopping,

You are right, when bitcoin is well known by most of the people then getting salary in bitcoin will not remain dream after that. Hopefully bitcoin might reach mainstream of payments system very soon to enforce the employers to think about paying their employees with bitcoin.

the question is why would you not accept Bitcoin as your salary?  It is the same ass taking cash in your local currency, it is just in another form.  It would be like taking gold or silver instead of receiving USD for me.
