I dont want to receive my salary in bitcoin because there would so much process before I can convert into fiat and cashout and I think there would be no difference between the fiat and the bitcoin system maybe we can say that bitcoin is much faster but there are still a schedule for the payroll . And the disadvantages of receiving your salary in bitcoin is its unstable price and not all country has a bitcoin ATM .

I prefer my salary in fiat. At this moment i have trust in bitcoin to hold it, but not enough for salary payments. If the price goes down again, i will not be able to pay my monthly bills, which would be devastating for me. |

According to me I can't accept Bitcoin as My Salary Because there is a Problem Of Bitcoin that is The Volatility Of it. If this problem will not occurs and the price of Bitcoin Remains Stable Then I would be Happy to Accept Bitcoins as my Salary....

I wouldn't mind getting 20-40% of my salary in bitcoins only if at the payday my employer would calculate the BTC/USD rate and convert the appropriate amount of my salary in USD to BTC. This way I will only be effected by the bitcoin rate on my existing bitcoins and not on payday.

At this time, no I wouldn't. Bitcoin is so volatile right now, the risks outweigh the positives. Yes, I could make 30% profit in fiat in a day, But I could also lose the same!

I get paid with paypal and trade everything to btc right away. I honestly don't trust paypal and hate their fees. I can buy bitcoins at around 90% value, which isn't a lot, considering how much better btc is compared to paypal

Yeah i agree with you, some people who want to receive a salary with bitcoin is not too consider the risks if the price of bitcoin down time before they redeem it by fiat, if it happens then we will lose money because our salaries reduced. And really is better to accept the fiat in addition we can directly use it, the fiat price is also stable  |

In Europe there is a hot new pertaining to a company whose going to introduce paying bitcoins to their employees. But given the instability of the bitcoins market value is it an advantage for the employees or an disadvantage. In my opinion this kind of payment for salary is not yet beneficial to employees not until bitcoins price has become stabled. Though if bitcoin will start to increase its monetary value it can be advantageuos but if not then it is a peril to the employees. So what do you think, what is your opinion on this matter?
If you use bitcoin as a salary expect that if the price decrease your salary will be deducted some amount of money. It will easy to use if there have own wallet that have Fiat and bitcoin address so for people who want to earn more bitcoin they can use it or they want it Fiat without even sending to the exchange. |

This is a good idea if the price or exchange rate can be locked. Here in the Philippines there is an exchange called coins.ph (not mine and i'm not advertising) they will give each user 2 BTC address, 1 for the BTC and one for the Philippine Peso, anything sent to the PhP address is locked sample is the amount sent is 100 pesos, that is 100 pesos period, but if you want to buy BTC, there's an option that can change the Pesos to BTC in an instant.

I too believe this is not the right time to get our salary in bitcoins. Until we are having all our life's necessary things are available for bitcoin, there is no meaning in getting our salary in bitcoins. Because getting salary in bitcoin and then converting them back to fiat for spending it has absolutely no meaning. But, getting 10% or 25% of your salary in bitcoin, for the purpose of saving it for long term must be good idea as it has great meaning. |

But i do not see more people will accepted their salary with fluctuation of the price we can not even know if the price will not reach that amount again that is why we need to be safe just keep receiving your salary in terms of fiat and start earning in bitcoin as other source of income do not make your lives complicated. |

Yes good point if we recieve some portion of our salary in bitcoin like 30% i would suggest that i would love it.It will go directly to my savings and plus investments and i will spend only with 70% fiat.But getting 100% of the salary would not be a good idea because we need money to spend in real life so sooner than later we have to convert our bitcoins into fiat so i would be better to direcly take salary in fiat. |
