101  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Eclipse - Fuck Ledger on: May 13, 2024, 05:23:42 PM
A package for Eclipse came in the mail today.

Inside was a Nastyfans, .999 one ounce coin!

MASSIVE shoutout to OgNasty for donating one of his Nastyfans fine silver binary rounds to get BLOWN TO PIECES.

HUGE moment for forum culture, awsome day.

Any update on this?  I had hoped to see cheers from the crowd as one of my coins gets demolished for all to see.
102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: May 13, 2024, 05:16:12 PM
Mike Tyson has been seeming pretty confident in his podcast appearances as of late.  I'm not sure why though...  He looks good training, but damn is he getting old and it's clear from watching him speak.  I really hope he gets a massive payday because if he has to keep fighting until he dies it will be a horrible way for such a legend to end his life.  I just hope it's a short fight.  Seeing such an old man have to get back in the ring is genuinely depressing and while Mike is the greatest fighter ever and Jake is barely a professional, this age gap is going to show itself during the fight.  I hope I'm wrong...
103  Economy / Goods / Re: Buying a TESLA CYBERTRUCK with BITCOIN on: May 13, 2024, 05:13:03 PM
I'm starting to see people selling their Cybertrucks for barely more than they paid now.  It seems like the economy along with the allure of owning one of these early is wearing off.  I suspect we'll probably see lower conversion rates going forward of preorders as the reality of this economy takes hold.  Looking at recent preorder conversions, it appears I'm about 130K preorders down the line.  I've heard their conversion rate is as low at 5%.  With them making 1,000 per week now, that puts me about 6-7 weeks away from placing an order and another 6-7 weeks until delivery.  So there is legitimate hope that I'll have one of these by the end of the year.  Possibly as early as September, but I'm crossing my fingers for a Christmas present this year...  Definitely better have mine by this time next year.  Most people don't own their cars as long as I've waited for this one.
104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 13, 2024, 05:07:29 PM
I can't really say why other than a feeling, but I feel like we're about to make the next move up.  I think we see the 4th of July holiday weekend with Bitcoin's price in the 80's with a slow climb to end the year at $100K.  Maybe wishful thinking, but I still believe that won't even be the big rally.  The big rally juiced by FOMO and get rich quick chasers should be in 2025 and take BTC up around $200K.  Just one man's prediction, but I feel like there's a good chance it becomes reality.
105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: May 13, 2024, 05:05:32 PM
Feeling good about yesterday's big win but not too excited about the action today.  So I'm taking a wuss bet and picking the Boston Celtics to win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.  This should be an easy win but you never know.  The odds make it to where you probably shouldn't make this bet, but the playoffs are about halfway over already so you gotta get the fun while the getting is good.  Smiley

Cleveland Cavaliers - Boston Celtics
Winner (Incl. Overtime)
Boston Celtics

Odds
1.28
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: May 12, 2024, 02:11:40 PM
The freaking Cleveland Cavaliers couldn’t even keep the game to within 10 points. I’m a little bit bummed about that but it’s ok. I’ll be glad when this round of the playoffs is over and we’re on to better matchups. I am excited about the Denver Nuggets vs Minnesota Timberwolves game later today but I’m not sure which way I’ll bet that one yet.
107  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I don't know how to survive in nuclear winter on: May 11, 2024, 10:30:15 PM
I’m not sure something like this is really even worth preparing for. I think the biggest factor would likely be luck. However, there are some universal truths when it comes to surviving in any situation. Making sure your body is strong and you’ve been trained in different areas is always a great thing. Preparing yourself for anything usually pays dividends.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 11, 2024, 10:26:26 PM
And Dallas too the lead in the series.

Luka been playing not 100% but everyone was playing great defense and have limited the OKC in the 2nd half. Kyrie understand the situation, took over but still get everyone involve. OKC trying to play a foul game on the Dallas big but Lively came up with consistent FT shooting after getting taken out for a minute. Overall, it was a great game, very physical but so entertaining to watch.

101-105 is the final score

As usual, Kyrie are Luka making contributions but once again, Washington was big again with    27 points which is actually the leading scorer. Not sure what the OKC are doing, they are just letting him to score this way?

Best case scenario for me as I wanted Dallas to win but bet on OKC with the spread and OKC covered with the loss. It gets no better. Now hopefully Cleveland will make their game with Boston a good one and lose by less than 10 points while Boston takes the W and it will be a great day for NBA Playoff basketball. Smiley
109  Economy / Reputation / Re: What is happening in the Stake… on: May 11, 2024, 06:00:28 PM
I have been with stake for quite awhile now, they have never asked me to defend them in any situation. If I am commenting on a situation involving them I would like to think I am not biased and give a fair opinion. I don't think anything is wrong with them changing payment methods, there are pros and cons with the situation and they're allowed to pay how they wish right?
I dont care how they are paying their participants or what coins they are using for that, and I know nobody asked you to defend them, but it feels you are defending them  Tongue

I also do not feel like I am anything near a spammer.
I didnt say you are, but ask other members in forum and gambling board and see what they tell you about that campaign  Grin
The way they are running this campaign is not good in my opinion.

How would you suggest they improve their campaign? I personally think it’s the best campaign around, but that’s mostly because I think they’re head and shoulders above the competition in their industry.

I’m not happy about them moving away from BTC, but I understand it’s a business decision. BTC is hostile towards actual businesses with it’s high fees and USDT pays crazy interest, so if this move was necessary to keep the campaign going without reducing payouts, then I can at least understand it.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 11, 2024, 05:38:50 PM
Game 4 will surely be a crucial one. If the Wolves win, this series might end up in 6 games favoring them, but if the Nuggets manage to steal one again on the road, there will be a Game 7. Only my prediction. Smiley

I'm glad the game will be televised on TNT so I can watch it.  It might be the biggest game of the playoffs.  If Minnesota wins, I think they might be on their way to an NBA title.  However, if they let the Nuggets get another win and tie up the series, they'll have the momentum and I think it will be lights out for Minnesota.  I personally want to see Minnesota win so I'll be routing for them, but Denver is still young and athletic.  If they have figured out how to stop Ant, the Timberwolves might be in some trouble.  The next two games in this series are going to be HUGE for both teams, but game 4 will be the Timberwolves chance to seal it up.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla may once again accept bitcoin payments whether this is capital snobbery or on: May 11, 2024, 05:25:13 PM
I have been holding out hope that Tesla would let people pay for the Cybertruck with BTC but it appears that will never happen now.  Elon has been pretty silent on BTC since Tesla stopped accepting it and it seems like it was due more to the board pushing back on Elon and him deciding it wasn't worth the fight considering everything else he's got going on.  I'm sure Elon is aware of the 4-year cycle by this point, so I would sort of assume if Tesla was going to start stacking BTC long term by accepting it for their cars, they would wait until the best time to do so, which in my opinion would be in late 2026 or early 2027.
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When did you realize you need to be a responsible gambler so you can continue ? on: May 11, 2024, 05:12:53 PM
I sort of feel the opposite.  I've always been an extremely responsible gambler and have never lost a bet that I got emotional about because I needed the money.  At this point, it feels like I may need some irresponsibility with my gambling to bring some fun.  Lately I've tossed some bucks at slot machines knowing I was setting money on fire, but it was nice to get a feeling of excitement with the possibility of hitting a major jackpot.  Sure, so far I've just lost any winnings on the slots, but it was fun trying something new as opposed to low stakes sports betting.  Just make sure if you're going to set your money on fire that you have enough to where losing it doesn't effect you.
113  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: May 11, 2024, 05:10:13 PM
Congratulations on your new milestone! It is good to see high-ranking members like you hitting 10,000 push-ups in 99 days. It is not easy because you will be engaged in so many activities daily, but out of your busy schedule, you still have a chance to be consistent with this push-up challenge. Your guy's consistency in this push-up challenge has made me consistent in this push-up challenge, and I am enjoying the benefits already. I will be adding bicep, tricep, shoulder, tummy, leg, and trap workouts to my push-up challenge. I want to use the opportunity of this push-up challenge to carry out the exercises I mentioned. Let me see what my upper body will look like when bitcoin reaches $100,000. I already have the video that will guide me on how to carry out these exercises without lifting any weight to train them.

I feel the same way about consistency.  I would have definitely quit at some point in the first 50 days if it wasn't for this thread.  There are more than a couple times I passed out on the couch with 30 push-ups remaining and woke up in the middle of the night to finish.  I wouldn't have done that without this thread.  So for me, it's amazing that so many people have joined in and taken this thread to a level I didn't imagine when I started it.  You are all a great support system and I can't see how I could let myself fail this challenge with so many fellow supporters.  100 a day until 100K.  No problem.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: May 11, 2024, 05:04:42 PM
I'm not going to be able to watch the games today but I figured I'd bet with the hopes that there are some close ones today.  I honestly think today's games could go either way and am a bit surprised that Dallas is the favorite today.  Maybe I missed an injury or something?  A bit surprising to see the Cavs still such heavy underdogs after bringing it the last game.  Other than Minnesota vs Denver, I'm not too excited about this round of the playoffs.  I'm ready for the next one...

Dallas Mavericks - Oklahoma City Thunder
Handicap (Incl. Overtime)
Oklahoma City Thunder (5.5)

Cleveland Cavaliers - Boston Celtics
Handicap (Incl. Overtime)
Cleveland Cavaliers (9.5)

Odds
2.75
115  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: May 11, 2024, 04:52:58 AM
There it is. Quite the milestone for myself as I hit 10,000 push-ups. It really shows what you can do over a little bit of time if you stick with something and work at it a little bit each day. I think there’s still a bit of time left before we hit the $100K price milestone, but hopefully Bitcoin’s price reaches $100K before I hit 100K push-ups.

116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 11, 2024, 02:59:12 AM
The Pacers held on to the series, if they lost today it was over. Nembhard took some bad shots, but he scored on the most important one.
The Knicks are plagued by injuries. It's affecting Brunson, too. He shot poorly but McBride and Burks contributed at emergency times, DiVincenzo was very good in this game. But on the other side there's a reality called Haliburton. Siakam and Turner's rebound dominance in the last minutes was important. Game 4 could be similar, Pacers still need to protect the home court.

That last second shot was crazy. I’ve never even heard of Nembhard… Glad the Pacers are still in it though.

The Denver Nuggets look like they are going to steal a win against the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight. They’re leading pretty good at the half. It’s now or never for them. If they lose tonight they go down 0-3 and its all over.
117  Economy / Goods / Re: Buying a TESLA CYBERTRUCK with BITCOIN on: May 10, 2024, 11:51:36 PM
This might be the coolest looking cybertruck I’ve seen to date (you have to watch the end of the video). Not sure if I could be talked into 30” rims, but maybe. I’ve never seen wrapped rims before. The color “Frozen Berry” looks awesome as it changes in the light. I’m guessing the wrap job complete with PPF covering was probably around $10K and the rims another $10K. If that’s a Cyberbeast it’s probably $160K all finished. Still, an amazing vehicle.

I just read the finale of the story of Glen “Big Baby” Davis and how he tried to defraud the NBA’s benefits plan for millions of dollars. Looks like he’s finally been sentenced and is getting 40 months in prison for his role in the scheme. Thats pretty crazy. I didn’t realize it was that serious. 40 months in prison is no joke.
119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can we help beginners not to get addicted on: May 09, 2024, 09:28:48 PM
Whenever I see topics about gambling addiction I see a common link between those who are addicted. They all don’t understand the purpose of gambling. Gambling is a form of entertainment and should be treated as such, not a way to earn money. If you view gambling as you paying a price to play a game, it seems rather silly to risk your finances so haphazardly.
120  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Canada’s Orwellian new law proposal to jail for hate speech on: May 09, 2024, 05:24:40 PM
This kind of reminds me some videos I have seen from China, about how people dare to criticize the ruling of the Chinese Communist Party on the internet. It does not take much time before those people do talk negatively or share negative memes about the government of China get a visit of authorities to their front door and end up getting arrested for whatever stupid law the CCP decided to push to further control their population.
The people from.Canada need to beware and follow the developments of these kind of laws which may be used in the future to imprison people over their thoughts and free speech, the big next step I am afraid it could be taken in Canada under the leadership of Trudeau could involve the setting of some nationwide surveillance system like that implemented in China as support for the social credit system there.

Gladly this is less likely to happen in countries like the United States and Latin America, for different reasons.

It seems to me from the outside looking in, that Canada is planned to be the release valve for the European immigrant overflow population.  I believe Canada's land and resources are being earmarked for immigrants and their locals will be priced out of their homes and forced to relocate.  It's sad because I don't think there's anything the people of Canada can do about it at this point.  They seem like trapped animals being harvested for whatever they have to give.  I can't say this enough.  If you live in Canada, GTFO and be mad at yourself that you didn't do it as soon as it was clear Trudeau doesn't have the best interests of Canadians in mind.
