Those who are real investors are sleeping soundly and will never sell bitcoins in this small bullrun. They won't wake up before 2025.

47k done, the highest price this year. Let's hope for 48k. Cheesy

Highest price of the year.  Cheesy

It’s January 8th! Funny but it does feel like the tidal wave of funds crashing into Bitcoin cannot be stopped.

Drama alert…

Ryan Garcia divorced his wife one hour after their child was born. I haven’t heard any reason why, but speculation on the internet is that the baby came out looking very much not like Ryan Garcia… I guess we’ll have to wait to learn the truth, but that’s a wild story.

Looking at the resistance levels it does appear like we’re nearing the rocket launch. I suspect we’ll see a little trouble getting through $46K and another major resistance level just above $50K. After that though it’s pretty much off to the races. If we do see increased buying interest due to the ETF approval, there is a chance it could take us to new highs. I don’t think that will happen anytime soon, but the potential is there.

BP reached out to me for a collaboration once. He tried to get me to generate addresses and engrave them on coins for him for next to nothing, saying I would benefit from working with his brand. When I denied it he distrusted me in the trust network and started saying bad things about me, even threatening to sue at one point. I’ve avoided him ever since. I’m not surprised at anything I’m reading.
1006  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POLL] Aliens in Florida Mall? on: January 07, 2024, 07:56:28 PM
I've been enjoying all the "eye witness" accounts of the story.  Giving it a Bitcoin angle, check out this tweet/video from Bitcoin's own Layah Heilpern.

https://x.com/LayahHeilpern/status/1743736032770560139

I think it's total nonsense, but funny to talk about.  I think if you believe we're being visited by aliens you might as well dive in head first and go along with flat earth and human beings being farmed for baby blood.  I will say though, if I live to see a zombie apocalypse or alien invasion, life will be so much more interesting.  If we're in a simulation one of them has got to be in the timeline.
1007  Economy / Reputation / Re: OGNasty good intentions (Latest lie: Jan 6, 2024) on: January 07, 2024, 07:43:18 PM
I don't know why but for some odd reason, who ever stands against OG either ends up in hospital or disappears. Lol
Seriously though, if I remember correctly I left the forum after I called him out for misuse of positive feedback(though I had health issues in real life), then Vod had a stroke after a long battle with him, Lauda went AFK forever, I'm sure there are some others going AFK as well.

I think aliens must be interested to beam him up from some where to study him more closely. 😂

I will admit that it is a little fishy and something I've been aware of for a while now but this is the first time I've seen someone mention it...  From my perspective it's more like people with issues attack me with lies out of personal frustration for whatever reason on their way out.  Who knows...  I'm not a psychologist.  It all seemed to start with Zepher after doing some shady stuff to me in Slack...  Then there was the users you already mentioned, TMAN, Last of the V8s, probably more I can't recall off the top of my head...  I hope marlboroza & Flying Hellfish are ok.  I've been around more than a decade though, so things happen.  I too will one day no longer visit these forums and I doubt it will be because of any users here.  However, it does make for a good conspiracy theory, and I love those so carry on.

This is probably going to be the longest internet feud I will be seeing in my lifetime.

The extortion message you sent me is available for anyone to read here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5352637.0

Can't view this thread, I assume prob because of me not having a high enough role idk.

It was never a feud.  Crazy people attack me occasionally.  It's nothing new.  Some people are just a little more mentally unstable than others.  Especially when dealing with medical issues that may be life threatening.

I'm surprised that you can't view the thread.  I didn't realize everyone wasn't able to view the extortion attempt.  I'll have to remove the personal information and put it up somewhere for entertainment purposes as I think people would enjoy reading it.  I guess this was an oversight on my part before closing the book on this.

EDIT: Here's the extortion PM for those who want to see it.  I've removed any personal identifying information so hopefully that is OK here.

:  “I have to actual justify my statements based on real quotes from you to avoid potential lawsuits, like when I say you’re a pedophile.

Real       Quote:  “Is your real life identity known?  I have a lot more to lose than you do by exposing someone.

After trying to help me, and being rewarded for eventually forcing me out of the bitcointalk marketplace, I expected an offer since you admitted your liability above.

Your lies contributed to a stroke and I even lost my ability to speak about it for a while when you were sending messages to my Facebook friends on my birthday and taunting me on the forum.

I’m now able to tell what happened, and I am preparing the story and a very public $100M lawsuit, which will be broken down as follows:
$10M to me to help with the handicapped living expenses you caused.
Punitive damages:
$50M donation to the heart and stroke foundation / anti-pedophile organizations.
$20M to fund micro projects and finish my project of spreading Cypto to those who need it.
$20M for a legal fund to reimburse the people you and your partners have scammed.
Hopefully it will lead to other lawsuits.

Your defense is so simple:  Post the imaginary message I sent you outing myself as a pedophile, which you claimed I did over a dozen times.

I am transferring my blockchain investigations on the actual numbers of hundreds of millions you three embezzled/laundered and focusing my fundraising on public awareness for your actions in covering it up.   Why do you three believe sex with children shouldn’t be reported to the police?  Did you guys actually bully Zepher to overdose death like you tried with me?  Did you pay taxes on any of your scammed bitcoin?  How many people are harassing you daily,        ?   Is it because you make fun of handicapped people?

I’m offering you a one time settlement to pay for my expenses, suffering and lost income/profits  – $5,000,000 – a very generous offer from a successful inventor like me and this environment I was recognized and trusted in.

You have until Aug 13 end of day EST to speak to your partners         and       , who are co-defendants in my lawsuit, and have your lawyers email me; I’ll connect them to my lawyer without any conversation.  I’m sending this private message instead of a public one as one last undeserved courtesy.  Everyone can believe you won and I will live the rest of my life in peaceful retirement as I deserve.  Your alternative is to spend millions on lawyers (and 5-10 years in court) and LOSE, which will not affect me in the slightest as my lawyer will work on contingency.  Do you think the courts will be as easily deflected as these bitcointalk users?

Govern yourself accordingly, bozo.

I just read an article that said the Minnesota Timberwolves were looking for possible trade candidates to move Kat...  That seems insane to me.  I get that he hasn't exactly gelled with Ant, but the team is finally winning games and performing as expected.  It seems insane to me that they would move the piece they built the team around.  I guess you never know what exactly is happening in the locker room but I think any team would be lucky to have Kat.
1009  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers to be banned on: January 06, 2024, 09:30:47 PM
Anybody compiling any stats about how this change has already effected the community?  I'm curious if the amount of posts per day is down at all.

Well, looking at the ninjastic.space graphs and without doing much math, the data looks very similar to previous weeks:

Therefore, I would say that there was not such a big impact on the pace of posts on the forum.

Very interesting.  Can someone explain the ebb and flow of this chart to me?  I've never really looked into or cared about forum stats before.  Are weekdays/weekends dramatically different and that's what we're seeing?  I suspect it'll take a while before any change in stats would show up, as I'm sure plenty of users are still delusional and think they'll be able to keep posting and change the forum's stance on mixers, or get accepted into another campaign (they probably will).
1010  Economy / Reputation / Re: OGNasty good intentions on: January 06, 2024, 09:26:41 PM
the treasury contract between theymos and I? Obviously not. It said I could literally take the funds and no legal action could be taken against me.
It also says: This agreement is intended to be enforced in a non-violent, non-legal way by the community.

So you think I returned millions of dollars I wanted to scam so I wouldn't get my feelings hurt on an internet forum?  Meanwhile idiotic users like you are attacking me by including extortionists in DT and calling me a Ponzi scammer anyway.  What difference would it have made?  You're a fool.  I returned the funds because I said I would and I do what I say.  Also, I am pro violent resolution if you want to settle whatever problem you have with me.  Don't let the contract fool you, I had no input on it.
1011  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] $100k $25K $10K AWS Credit - NOT ACCOUNTS on: January 06, 2024, 09:19:20 PM
Got everything as agreed

I have been holding funds in escrow on behalf of BenjaminPH to purchase an AWS Credit from Mkadmi.  The deal has fallen through and I've been asked to refund the funds to BenjaminPH.  Just to make sure everything is on the up and up, I am posting here publicly to let everyone know (even though this is a necro bump) that these two users were unable to complete a transaction and the funds are being returned to the buyer.  If anyone has any issues with this or suspects foul play of some sort, speak now or forever hold your peace.  Both parties have requested the refund so I will be processing it unless someone brings up an issue.
1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 06, 2024, 08:56:34 PM
I am beyond surprised that Grayson Allen seems to be the guy outperforming expectations on the Suns.  I absolutely hate his play style and think he has no honor whatsoever.  Players like him don't belong in the NBA.  All that aside, the guy has had some monster outings this season for the Suns and led them to a victory over Miami yesterday with a 31 point performance.  A team with Booker, Beal, & Durant being carried by Grayson Allen just doesn't seem right to me.  I guess I'll have to get over it though because he is helping my hometown team win.  I just really wish he wasn't on the Suns...
1013  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Good thing about your government? on: January 06, 2024, 04:05:54 AM
As much as I think Joe Biden is incompetent and mentally unfit for office, one thing his administration did do was spend billions of dollars bringing fiber internet to rural communities. So now instead of paying $150/month for cable internet, I’m paying less than a hundred and have the capability of uploading at 5gbps. Sure, that’s overkill to the max and a horrible waste of money from the government, but I got to benefit from government spending and that’s rare.
1014  Economy / Speculation / Re: Historical price of Bitcoin New Year Day (1st January). on: January 06, 2024, 01:48:22 AM
Very similar to the Xmas dates post but with some correction of the information this is still a fun post to have for archival reasons if someone is searching for this info.

If I were to venture a guess on the price of BTC on January 1st 2025, I would say $84,000. I think we’ll likely hit a peak roughly half a year later somewhere closer to $150K.
1015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 06, 2024, 01:42:57 AM
I still think that Wemby has a lot more to improve, but people need to realize that as a 19 year old kid, maybe he is not as good as Lebron when he was that age, but to be fair nobody was as good as Lebron at 19. I believe that Wemby has shown flashes of amazing plays, he is definitely a superstar in the making, he is going to be a force to reckon with, but he does have one problem.

The Spurs have absolutely nobody to handle the ball, no good floor general, which means that there is nobody that can help Wemby grow better, you can't just give the ball to some 7'5 feet tall guy and expect him to be great, he is not some Jokic type passer neither, Wemby is a scorer, and you need to set him up, when they do that, he is amazing, so this summer Spurs should look for some good passer.

Yeah, with that kind of performance against Giannis last night, I think Wemby just shows that he still has a lot of tricks inside his bag. He might not be as good as Lebron at that age, but still he can go against the best in the NBA like Giannis.

Even Giannis admitted that Wemby is a great player, his height alone he says that he is definitely not 7'3. And then he can move with that height, score rebound and block shots, he is not overhyped for me. He just need more time and surround himself with players that can make his good or be instrumental in his career.

It was funny seeing Giannis say that Wemby is way taller than 7’3” and somebody is lying. The end of that game was absolutely wild. Wemby held his own but Giannis is just unstoppable.

Speaking of unstoppable… The Celtics are absolutely destroying the Jazz in embarrassing fashion right now. Something is up with the Jazz. They’ve been playing horrible lately.
1016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: January 06, 2024, 01:38:20 AM
I'd say it's a wise choice for Joshua. This would probably make him more money than a match against Wilder. And at this point in his career, it's probably money that matters most.

Wilder was just convincingly defeated. He didn't even win a round in one of the official scorecards. But he remains powerful. He could still defeat Joshua. There's the high risk. Ngannou, on the other hand, is also gifted with power, also fresh from a defeat. But he somehow became a star among boxing fans. He got everybody's respect by sending the Gypsy King down to the canvas. Joshua could be defeated by Ngannou but it's a better risk than be defeated by Wilder.

I don’t think either of them have a chance against Francis after seeing him fight Tyson and lay him on the canvas. We all know he won that fight… This will be another interesting matchup but I think Francis has this. That guy is just a beast. Anthony Joshua better be getting a huge payday because if he loses this will definitely hurt his career.
1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The most logical and profitable game on: January 06, 2024, 01:35:50 AM
I know that basically gambling is based on luck, but we can use tricks or strategies so that we don't spend a lot of money and can still win, even if it's only a small win.

In general, in my opinion, there are several categories of games in gambling such as house edge games, sportsbooks, slot machine games, live casino games, and lottery. In your opinion, which game do you think is the most logical to win? and what is the reason?

When I need a win I’ll check out Plinko. Move the odds to the best possible and the most amount or rows… You can gamble all day and barely make or lose anything. Not very productive, especially with smaller amounts, but if you need a win or to just amuse yourself for a bit it’s definitely a good option to consider.

How do y'all take your coffee when chart watching?
I usually do a sugar and splash or milk/heavy whipping cream but Im out of sugar!  So I did manage to find a bag of brown sugar and tried it. To my surprise it pairs well!

With sugar and milk. And drugs.

Fun fact: I’ve never had coffee. I did have a neighbor growing up who used to drink his coffee with mushrooms in the morning. I thought that was weird until I got older.

This could be the last week without an ETF approval. I feel like there’s a good chance we could see a massive price swing next week. There will certainly be big news one way or the other.
1019  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Las Vegas judge gets attacked in court on: January 06, 2024, 12:27:40 AM
That judge is about to lay the smack down on this guy… I read that she’s demanding he appear in court on Monday, “by any and all means necessary.” I wouldn’t doubt if he’s dragged into court wearing shackles and gagged… At the very least he’ll be lectured and likely baited into yet another contempt of court charge. This will be one to watch.

OGNasty, working with Theymos, gave them back because he is able to scam more here.
Unlikely. I'm pretty sure he knew stealing 500 Bitcoin would have gotten him caught, so there's no point in doing it.

This was just brought to my attention. LoyceV, you think you’re so smart and knowledgeable about my actions. Did you even read the treasury contract between theymos and I? Obviously not. It said I could literally take the funds and no legal action could be taken against me. The reason I returned them was because I am a man of honor. Fear doesn’t play a role in any decision I make. If I wanted to take the forum’s 500 BTC, I would have. The only thing stopping me was my honesty.
