I am old well if 60 is old  I am old.

I realize the forum has people from 13 to 85.

I have done 3 to 5 thousand in experimental builds the last 2 years.

I don't have time to argue with insulting posts.

The build is very specific it will be a water cooled build

Goal is 3 water cooled 1080tis or maybe water cooled 1070's
and 1 water cooled  ryzen 1800x

done riser free.

why  because I want to encourage people to build  all kinds of rigs.

I want every gamer  to mine in his sleep and water cooled rigs are quiet.

yeah  I have 20,000 usd plus in mining gear paid off  earning me more then 1000 a month.

real expansion for me will be the new solar array. till then I build different gpu rigs.  with different models

You should take a look at the EKWB blocks that connect 3-7 GPU's all only using a single slot each Cheesy

That is really cool !

today I looked in the pool,I understand that the difficulty went down?   Huh

indeed, the diff adjust herself every 2016 block.

It means we lost some hashrate (finding block slower) then the past Diff.

Some hashrate has move to BCH. (Bitcoin coin cash network)

Btw i use "herself" since in french everything is a He or She and difficulty is a She. Tongue

I understand well what you told me,I hope that block will not make us wait even longer

If the diff goes down it means you should find more block with the same hashrate.

So it's a good news.

i'm quite happy with all my AMD. Everything is paid. I had no intention to flip them for nvidia especially when we didn't know what Vega would bring. The new card isn't dead yet. Few drivers update, probably some optimization from Claymore and let's see.

Pretty sure there will be a nice fix for the driver anytime soon for 4x 5x series. For the time been, my army will still serve me mining ETH all the way. I have cheap electricity at home and no heat issue since the summer is getting cooler as we speak.

Bring the halving, let see a nice price rise.

did they change the payout schedule? the last block I didn't get paid out after it matured.

also what happens to dust payments?

When are payments sent out?

The block 'Status' must first reach '+101 Confirms' on the Blocks page, and then is flagged as 'Matured', before the reward is distributed.
The block reward transaction is created manually before the block matures, and sent out automatically a minute after the block matures.

The payout uses a zero fee transaction, so we will confirm it with the next block we find after the transaction is sent out.

Is there an actual picture or video of your product ? no ...

I see tons of text and generated images without any actual proof of anything.

Asking for 3 months pre-order ...

I wouldn't touch this with a 18 feets pole
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 25 asics electricity set up + 18 rigs on: August 10, 2017, 04:33:45 AM
Speak to an electrician over randoms on the internet.

If you can afford 25 ASIC you can afford the few hundred dollars to install breakers and get the right advice.

Pro advice
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How do you start a rig without a power button? on: August 10, 2017, 04:28:40 AM
You can also create your own. Buy the cables and the switch.

https://www.amazon.com/HDE-Power-Button-Computer-Switch/dp/B009CWY8PA

Refer to your motherboard manual to see where it goes on the motherboard.

Using my Trezor to claim my BCC was pretty easy. Just update the firmware and use the beta wallet. You can then send your claimed BCC to your BCC Trezor Wallet. After that you can hold or send it on to Bittrex. Be prepared for 20 confirmations which is taking about a day to confirm.

Nice glad it worked for you.

I am opening my stripped of btc but filled with  bcc core 0.14.2 as I type

it is on a mac mini  hoping that does not cause issues  I have done an import of an address to this mac mini years ago.

This is the first address I will dump keys

https://blockchain.info/address/1MpvyvnFoPyo4EyRg4oa4YTDEyhAQCAQHo

it has no btc but should have  0.01324444 bcc

@slackert -- thanks for the sharing -- just did the same and sent 50% of the BCH to Bitrex..... will keep the remainder .... who knows what tomorrow brings... if Segwit fails... Grin

@Akarabzie -- 50-60MHs will be astounding.... but for what price?

the 52 or 56 core version will be 499$ us (mid-entry)

the 64 core is 599$ (top end)

from what i have red.
113  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Large Order at BitMAIN (Guys need your help) on: July 14, 2017, 05:14:50 PM
Are you sure i can Send to them 284 000 K worth of bitcoins and its safe??

Who can I contact to make them cancel my orders, so that my stock which I ordered from previous orders (Once that bank didnt let through).
There is no more stock I think because my order has 3 day hold

Is anyone on these forums from Bitmain who can have a word with me ?
Its not 1 miner its about 160 Miners, which I though would be on a way soon..

Has anyone ordered by a wire transfer successfully before? Do you guys understand what Im talking about ? anyone has similar issuess?

I'm sure you can open a ticket with the account you used.

Considering it's a quarter million worth of hardware, they'll probably answer you fast enough.

Why it wouldn't be safe ? Bitmain will honnor the deal ... i'm sure they handle order bigger then yours.

I would be way more concern about how much board and units you gonna return for RMA but you will receive your gears.

EDIT: You need to check your order status in your account on bitmain web site ... they will not ship anything you didn't pay for.
114  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Large Order at BitMAIN (Guys need your help) on: July 14, 2017, 05:00:29 PM
Hello everyone,

We are a mining company based in Georgia Tbilisi, in the Free Economic zone, with low electricity cost and no taxes.
We are located next to Industry's Leader Bitfury's mining farm.

We just ordered 100 units of L3+ Miners and 60 units S9 Miners  with PSU's from BITMAIN Technologies.

They issued us with a invoice of 284 000$. As we are a Holding company, we used Bank wire transfer as a payment method.

Today we went to the bank to make a transfer and completed it. After few hours bank calls us and asks for the invoice from BITMAIN technologies as this was a insured transfer by us that cost extra 6K.

So what happens is that, invoice from Bitmain clearly says "IMPORTANT: Please only include the order ID in the bank deposit message in order to credit your account. And do not mention BITCOIN, ANTMINER or any invalid messages in case the money will be returned by the Bank)

So, as we didnt pay much attention to this message and send invoice to the Bank, and invoice says "Antminer costs" the bank has read this message and they refunded our payment asap, and they said there is no way they will make this transfer as basically we are telling bank just send it bank, but invoice clearly reads out ANTMINER costs.
All usd transfer goes through USA banks, so there is no way in world, that the bank ignores this message. How can we not mention these words, BITcoin or bitmain or Antminer if the invoice itself says so.

Some banks might ignore this message for transfers up to 10-15K, but our transfer is 284 000 USD, its more than a quarter of a million.

Company is not quite sure how to complete the order, we not even sure if we can trust this by paying 284K by bitcoins or litecoins.

What is the alternative guys ? Has anyone made such a big order from Bitmain and how did they proceed it with the bank ?

Do you guys think that sending this guys quarter of a million worth of bitcoins or litecoins is safe??

What happened is that Bank read the invoice, which says Dont mention it is transfer for Antminer, and invoice says Antminer costs,
Can you guys remove such a message from invoice?Huh You are basically saying to the bank, to lie to the bank and at the same time invoice itself does not lie

If anyone is from Bitmain at these forums, can they tell me whats happening? Why do you guys say not to Mention Antimner to bank when you clearly say it in the invoice that it is for 100 L3+ and 60 S9's?Huh

Any help appriciated

The dog sled left Montreal this morning...anxiously awaiting a ~4TH net increase when it gets to Toth. Ain't had this much fun since the outhouse fell over...  Kiss

Mine on!

That's a bit overkill since i'm wearing shorts at the moment but, yeah, I got the point Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Montreal is pretty nice in the summer.

Back to  mining I ordered a tremor paid for fast shipping and it is due to come to my home  on Weds.

I am impressed so far.  I got it direct from trezor.io  used a visa cc.  paid about 155 usd

That's a good deal considering resellers are trying to hawk them for $200 on Amazon. Is this your first hardware wallet?
Yes . I have used core on my pc and on my mac mini.   but never had a stand alone wallet.

It's a great device, support multiple wallets
