101  Other / Politics & Society / Re: VOTE BREXIT on 23 June, UK on: June 20, 2016, 12:40:27 PM
I'm hoping you're wrong, I will be voting to leave on Thursday regardless, however I can understand why you'd think that, the British seem to be completely losing the will to govern themselves. However the polls were completely proven wrong before when they tried to claim it would be a Labour victory with a hung parliament but it turned out to be an overwhelming Conservative victory.

The people I know who are voting to remain seem to be doing it out of fear of the unknown rather than any sort of rational belief.
102  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-06-18]Bitcoin Price And The Weekend Move on: June 20, 2016, 12:32:39 PM
It looks like to me it's stabalising, which will only be a good thing.
103  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Orlando shooting victim accused of faking her survival story on: June 20, 2016, 12:20:25 PM
I'm all for questioning things, but I think this whole claiming everything is a false flag fad is a load of bullshit, these are incredibly stupid people trying to sound clever, don't go along with them. You question things using empirical data and evidence, not throwing bullshit accusations at people.
104  Economy / Economics / Re: What affect do you think will the block halving have on mining profit? on: June 19, 2016, 11:17:12 PM
I've been experimenting with Bitcoin for a long time, but I just wanted to see what the more long term and professional members here thought, we've had a halving before apparently and it didn't change much so I suspect this will be like all the other stuff where it's all hysteria and no substance as usual from the people making claims about Bitcoin.

I hope I'm right and the market will simply re-adjust itself for the block halving as it seems to be doing but I am quite wary considering how substantial the reward drop is.
105  Economy / Economics / What affect do you think will the block halving have on mining profit? on: June 19, 2016, 02:03:57 PM
http://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com/

So I was interested in hearing peoples' perspectives on what they think will happen on block halving day ( I'm actually excited about it -_- Cheesy ) my own personal theory is that the price of Bitcoin itself and the fees from the trading volume rising so much will actually balance everything out and miners will either make the same as they did before or perhaps more because trade volume isn't limited in the way that block rewards are. What do you think will happen? Do you think I'm right? Do you think maybe we'll see a severe drop short term? Give me your reasoning, it's just interesting seeing the panic around block halving because we've seen all the hysteria surrounding ASICs and Scrypt mining and so on which makes me wonder if people aren't overreacting to the whole thing.
106  Other / Off-topic / Re: is my internet being throttle and would vpn helps? on: June 19, 2016, 01:38:17 AM
1mb is extremely slow to begin with, VPN does actually stop throttling, but it's only going to be useful for people who have a fast connection, as others have said, unfortunately, more than likely you'll be getting a poor connection and because you're only on 1mb that's going to affect you a lot more than if you were on a 10mb connection for example if there's a loss in speed.

You'll be much better off if you find a way to upgrade your connection, also, changing your provider to one that doesn't throttle your speed in the first place is always a good idea but you have to research them carefully first.

There's good and bad in Islam, but mostly it's wrong interpretation, so generalizing isn't something I'd promote.

How can you honestly post that with a clear fucking conscience?
108  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Tatarstan prosecutor's office initiate investigation on post about Orlando shoot on: June 18, 2016, 04:13:42 PM
As long as they kill each other I am happy about it, just leave the rest of the world out of it.

You should know by now they're never going to let that happen, I do believe that the only way we're going to beat these people in the long run is for all the sane people to come together so that these guys can't attack us individually and let these fuckers kill each other off.

Pardon my skepticism, but I'm not entirely sure that looks accurate.  Scotland, for example, is nowhere near that opposed to the EU.  I see maps from other sources that look far more balanced on the whole, like this one:

I should point out, that map is from searches in google for 'Brexit' so that doesn't necessarily mean that it's swinging one way or the other, I do recall reading an article with that map in where some idiot journalist who didn't understand how searching work was trying to imply that though but this could be just people trying to search for information on the EU referendum.
110  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Jewish Bitcoiner on: June 18, 2016, 11:16:02 AM
Can you just close this thread.

It just saves the time of hate and unneeded drama added to this forum, esp when we all here for bitcoin.

Totally agree.

I don't see why the OP should be forced to close their thread just because of a few Islamists who can't fucking control themselves, this is exactly the sort of reaction they hope for whenever they harass people in real life.
111  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Jewish Bitcoiner on: June 17, 2016, 01:23:53 PM
Fuck off Masha Sha, you Islamists keep coming in here with your bullshit to spam Jew hate and preach your religion and you have absolutely nothing productive to post beyond that, take your persecution complex and shove it up your arse.
112  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 17 y/o YouTuber faces years in jail for insulting Islam and Christianity on: June 16, 2016, 10:15:32 PM
it is a good news no one has the right to insult any religion. all religion should be protected and they should be respected.

Obligatory fuck Islam.
113  Other / Politics & Society / Re: London mayor at it again.. on: June 16, 2016, 07:58:19 PM
..... Okay, now that has definitely pissed me off, the fucking retard.
114  Other / Politics & Society / Re: British MP shot dead (Jo Cox, Labour MP for Batley and Spen) on: June 16, 2016, 06:36:12 PM
I don't think people will change their vote, from the polls that have been coming in, leave is actually on the rise, the death of a Labour MP I doubt is going to change that, because I think most sane people can see that was just some old guy who clearly had some serious issues.
115  Other / Politics & Society / Re: British MP shot dead (Jo Cox, Labour MP for Batley and Spen) on: June 16, 2016, 06:02:04 PM
Did she actually get shot by a proper gun or was it an air rifle or something? It sounds like she was just unlucky to get targeted by a total loon. very unfortunate, I wouldnt let this change your views on any vote you had in mind though or else its all for nothing.

When we say in Europe that gun control does not stop criminals from getting guns, we actually know about this, it's entirely likely that the person bought a real gun, she's been poronunced dead apparently. I remembe watching a news report that was covering Manchester gangs, they have absolutely no problem getting firearms despite heavy gun control laws.

As for the EU referendum, none of this will change my vote, this is definitely just one crazy nutter that was acting on his own and I'm an Anarchist, it doesn't matter what happens, I will always vote for democracy and freedom.
116  Other / Politics & Society / Re: British MP shot dead (Jo Cox, Labour MP for Batley and Spen) on: June 16, 2016, 05:28:21 PM
I saw the news about this as well, it was the Guardian saying this, but apparently he was yelling "Britain First" before killing her, you're right, this is going to give a huge amount of ammunition to remain side and the left in particular. Nevermind the fact this is 1 death vs continuous attacks from Islamists actively trying to kill people who have nothing to do with politics. It's very interesting seeing how when they're faced with many things that go against their ideology they go into full denial and write it off as nothing as much as possible and claim people are just being prejudiced, but they get one single person that matches their stereotypes they go ballistic.

This sort of thing happened a rape victim at Stanford, they get one guy who fitted their stereotype and ran with it, nevermind the hundreds of innocent people they've skewered in the past or the fact that there were people helping the woman these people only care about the narrative. I actually find it rather depressing that I know exactly how they're going to use the death of their colleague like this to push their agenda even before it's started.
117  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fuck Summer! on: June 15, 2016, 03:49:19 PM
Ahhhhhh...... It's cooled down.... Now I'm happy

Fuck all of you pro-summer people coming in here, get your own thread.

Yeah, last thing I want to be reminded of mid-winter is that someone thinks summer is "nice".

Summer is:
Horrible.
Moist.
Smelly.
Chafey.

What's "nice" about that?

Don't forget about the other wonderful things that summer brings like:

Skin cancer
Sunburn
Insects
Insects in some countries that want to kill you and can do so
Insects that give you diseases
Dehydration
Hayfever
Allergic Reactions
Blindness if you look directly into the sun when it's out in full
Heatstrokes
118  Other / Politics & Society / Re: French police officer and partner murdered in 'odious terrorist attack' on: June 15, 2016, 11:50:41 AM
Radical Muslims need to be pointed out by responsible Non Violent Muslims who are appalled by those who have hijacked their religion. There are enough of them living in France to help out proper intelligence agencies. France needs to bridge this gap as soon as possible.

They choose not to help though, in fact, a significant chunk of them support these terrorists, check out what the father of the Orlando shooter said about homosexuals when he was confronted about his son.

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/orlando-shooting-omar-mateen-father-seddique-mateen-taliban-god-punish-gays/

Unless Muslims genuinely intergrate with society and support the ideas of freedom of speech and expression, they will never help us fight these people, just because they don't commit the same acts of violence these terrorists do doesn't mean they don't support their actions.

If you're that easily upset by this type of thing, you need to see a professional psychiatrist.

It's for the children!!! Banning ads on the public space is the morale things to do! I am very disturbed by ads on public mass transit system... It's unsupportable. You can't unlooked it's pervasive, it's indoctrination!

Oh no! It's a Vagina! Go fuck yourself.

Have you ever considered that it might actually be really immature of you to call for the government censorship of something just because you're personally offended by it? Oh wait, what am I saying, religious people usually don't.

It has nothing to do with censorship, quite the contrary. It's to clear the mind from useless consumerism to reach higher level of thinking.

One a more serious note why shall I be subject to continuous harassment from ads with no benefits for me and without any other options to opt out than to live in the wild?

It has everything to do with censorship and you know it.
