1001  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla Bought 1.5 B in Bitcoins on: February 09, 2021, 11:48:54 AM
Last I checked it was around the 42k-43k range but this current prices are out of this world, 46k is a big number and to think that we finally broke the 40k resistance meant that a 50k will be a breeze to pass by or I could be wrong and that buy is a temporary increase or better yet, the 60k barrier is another easy resistance to break from.
yeah, it is crazy and Elon Musk with his twitter also pumped Dogecoins to quite a hilarious value because there is nothing much going on with dogecoin and the price is surging towards sky just because the poll Elon started on twitter where he said dogecoin to the moon!

People are highly influenced and buying dogecoin which is crazy and I am not entirely sure why Elon musk is doing all this because as you can see many replies under his tweets are saying "don't do these things, poor people will buy under your influence and then suffer" which I sort of agree because once the market dumps which it has to at some point, for dogecoins, then everyone who bought will suffer.
1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Cake Coin good for Passive Income? on: February 08, 2021, 06:55:29 PM
I assumed this was pancakeswap and the "cake" token they created, that is a cake defi that is basically what this topic could be mistook for. I do not know if cakedefi that this article suggests could be any good or not because I have no knowledge about it, but I would like to hijack the topic here and mention pancakeswap which is basically uniswap on BNB chain and how awesome that one is.

It is defi, it is cheap unlike all those unreal ethereum fee's, it gives you high APY without any problems, it has been doing it for years but this specific one is for months, it has increased like crazy, and you could basically do whatever you want to do with it. It is freedom and also financial fairness all combined into one, if you would check it out and see what it is all about, you will definitely invest into it, there is no doubt in my mind anyone who researches it will not invest into it.
1003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remember when ETH was $1400 a few years ago then crashed to $70 as BTC crashed? on: February 08, 2021, 05:24:51 PM
actually what happens with this kind of thinking. seeing the price go up and down thought a scam. when seeing the transaction fees rising so expensive they say a scam.
When you arrive early knowing how the crypto market works then you won't say that everything that happens is a scam. many people including myself also benefit from this very basic market analysis. buy when it's cheap and sell when it's expensive. avoid buying in a bull market. very simple and safe. So why would anyone think something profitable is a scam?
Unfortunately buying low is not only scam but also "ethereum is dead" was vivid around everywhere, just because ethereum price went down (albeit a lot) didn't mean that the coin itself was gone and would never come back, the fact that ethereum stead in top 3 during all of those falls is the example that it was always doing great and never did that bad. This is why I think it is quite important that we should focus on ethereum going down as something as a whole in crypto markets as a whole and not just on ethereum base.

I personally saw those falls many times in crypto and if one coin goes down all by itself, like how XRP did a month or two ago, that is a problem for the coin itself but if the whole crypto market falls there is nothing wrong with the coins and you can buy them when they are cheap and you can sell them when the crypto market goes up together.
1004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Employees can get salary in Bitcoin in Miami on: February 08, 2021, 09:32:18 AM
To be honest this is a very good move that they are taking here. It is good knowing that this is something that is coming from the government, they are the ones pushing it and telling people to make use of it, that’s really good.

This is not how it is every other places, and I wish other governments will understand cryptocurrency this way and realistic that it is part of our future so that they too can as well accept and push it like they are doing in Miami right now. I know all it’s going to take is time, and when the time comes they are going to do what is right.
1005  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fast ways to lose money trading on: February 06, 2021, 06:27:20 PM
Fastest way I know how to lose money in trading is to put stop loss in a very very short position, like some people have 1% stop loss built into their system, it could be directly on the exchange, it could be a trading bot, but they do 1% stop loss, which means if the price goes down 1% the yend up selling all of their positions and try to get back in.

That is as bad as it gets and you will end up losing a lot of money if you keep doing it because price changes 1% daily, that is literally the spread we have and price could be 1-2% up or down at any hour of the day, very commonly and very frequently as well, that is why I never really imagined it would be smart for anyone to make this kind of stop loss but people do that, I do not understand why they do it but I understand that people do it and lose money very frequently, specifically on trading bots because that ends up losing a lot of money for them.
1006  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My 1 month testing trade result $500 profit on: February 06, 2021, 03:01:58 PM
I am not a signal provider or a trading teacher. I just share my result with you. You please learn your self. And don't believe anyone who says they trade for you and take a percentage from your profit. They can scam with you. Please be aware from this type of scam and make a healthy trading place.
I like this statement at the end because I was feeling like someone is going to sell their trading script or trick as some people do. I am happy for you Imran and keep earning and it is absolutely fine to share some tips and basics about trading here. The problem starts when you start selling those tricks because then you are not trying to help instead trying to sell your methods.

Despite your great profit, I would suggest that don't get carried away because there was a bull run going on as we all know and usually people think they are good at trading while the truth is that they just got lucky as they traded during bull run. I am not saying you are not capable but all I am suggesting is that keep the focus and make sure you are learning the process and basics rather than just watching the profits.
1007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: WHAT happened to goosebet.io on: February 06, 2021, 10:28:53 AM
Oh no! I am glad I never played on the site because I was one of the believers that goosebet will do good when they initially launched because they gave away a lot of TRX for free and they had a very attractive design along with a big team on telegram. I never played there though because the website was lagging too bad for me and the admins were ignoring me so I decided not to play.

I just hope everyone can get their money out and maybe they are just down but not scamming. There were other players who reported the website was laggy and very slow so maybe they took down the servers and working on improving it. But if you honestly ask me, things are losing really dire and my best wishes with any players who have balance there.
1008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling strategies & tips from professional players on: February 06, 2021, 06:43:04 AM
I can agree that certain games involve an element of skill like Poker would be a good example and even Blackjack might be called as a game of some skill while obviously luck is required in all games. But, games like dice are really random and no matter what strategy you apply but the house edge will keep working against you and yes you may play with the same amount of funds for longer period if you are smart and manage bankroll and don't chases loses but the loses are inevitable.

There is a good chance to win when you are playing skill games and specially against other players instead of the house because the house has massive bankroll and in the long run big fish will swallow the smaller one.
1009  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin Help The Poor on: February 06, 2021, 05:20:53 AM
I believe it is definitely going to be something that helps the poor people in the end but it will not be directly. The logic is like this; bitcoin should be closing the gap between the rich and the poor, it should make middle class a thing again, it should cap the profits wealthy people could have because poor people have the same amount of return, it should also prevent the companies from getting bailed out because there is no bailing out in crypto, and at that point regular people should start getting money from corporations more and more.

This isn't like "give poor some money so they are not poor anymore" situation, this is more "cap wealth so that everyone gets a share from available amount" type of fix that is long term.
1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 1000 usd , where to invest , on: February 05, 2021, 08:14:15 PM
It is obvious that it is not easy to decide what is going to happen and how it is going to happen in the crypto world. We are living in a world where it is nearly impossible to predict anything, we can't predict crypto as a whole, we can't predict coins one by one, it is really getting harder to decide what to do.

This is exactly why I think it is quite important for all of us to end up putting as much money as we can into stuff we feel like will do good but put money you can afford to lose, do not put money you need, and also make sure that you can wait at least 1 year for that thing to go up, preferably even 2 years if you can. If you can do this two things (normally simple but hard because of emotions) you will profit, doesn't matter if it is 100 dollars 1000 dollars or 1 million dollars, all you need is putting aside money you do not need and waiting for a year or two.
1011  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Altcoin's loss become Bitcoin's gain? on: February 05, 2021, 06:36:50 PM
The main reason to invest in altcoins is to multiply your bitcoin holdings, after all even if you are holding bitcoin and its price in fiat goes up you still have the same amount of bitcoin, but if you buy altcoins and they begin to outperform bitcoin then not only you get more fiat you also get more bitcoin.

But this is a risky proposition as we know that altcoins can be many times more volatile than bitcoin and they can be easily manipulated by the whales and if you happen to make the wrong prediction not only you will lose fiat but bitcoin as well.
I think that is the main selling point of many trading bots as well, there is a way to make more fiat as well if you want to, there are few bots that trade with usdt-pairs so that you could have a lot more usdt instead of bitcoin, but the fact is that there are btc-pairs and people basically buy trading bots so they could turn their bitcoins into more bitcoins because that is the true richness. If you only want to have more fiat, all you have to do is buy bitcoin and wait, eventually you will have a profit in bitcoin, that is not going to change anytime soon.

However if we are talking about bitcoin reaching to a point where you have 2x more bitcoins, that means not only you made a great deal of profit from having more bitcoins, but you have made profit from fiat increasing as well. Trading bots are focusing on that but I can't testify how great or horrible they are, I never really understood them properly.
1012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 BTC = 20 oz of Gold today on: February 05, 2021, 08:40:14 AM
This is a very good observation and we know it that this is the least that this will reach, there is still more heights for it to go and w are soon going to something higher than this. This last bull run has been quite different, I was expecting it to end in January just as the bull run in 2017 did, but this one is totally different.

We are in the month of February now and Bitcoin is still being bullish and not even dropping at all. Just look at how it has been moving, the price moved to 30,000 USD and some of us thought that the bull run was done and we are being dragged into the bear market, but now the price is 37,000 USD.
1013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some important tips about the bitcoin market on: February 05, 2021, 07:19:20 AM
As long as you’re a long term HODL’er you’re going to be trying to buy Bitcoin when there is correction or when there is a fall, and that’s because you know that you’re going to be holding for years and that will benefit you when the time comes for the market to move to the highest point. But from what we have seen so far you’re going to always recover your losses and make big profit in the future. People who bought Bitcoin at 20,000 USD never believed that there will be a time like this when they will all recover the money they have lost.

Just like a friend of mine who kept asking me what to do, and I told that him that since he already lost money, it’s best to just leave that money and forget it till another time when the price goes and he did just that. He was able to sell at 39,000 dollars which double of what he bought at, and covered all his losses.
1014  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the best cryptocurrency exchange for beginners on: February 05, 2021, 05:10:36 AM
Where you’re storing your assets should be somewhere safe, then exchange should only be used for when you’re trading them, you can still leave a few percentage of your assets on the exchange if you want. And for people who are newbies, their main focus should be on using top exchanges.

A lot of times I see newbies talk about exchanges they make use of, and these happens to be exchanges that I have never heard of since I have been here. They should be considering exchanges like Coinbase, Binance, and not some random new and small exchanges they find out of nowhere by surfing the net. Beginners must follow this community for feedback about exchanges time to time so that they can secure themselves even exchange hack or exit scams happen.
1015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Do You Take Profit From Your Altcoin Bags? on: February 05, 2021, 03:47:34 AM
I have to say it all depends on what you are investing into. Because I invest into ETH thinking I will not ever sell it if I have that chance, I would like to keep it until I am a retired old guy. I get that many people do not see the point of being old with money when you can be young with money but the difference to me is that either you have a bit of money when you are young and you spend it, or you are very wealthy when you are old and leave a good wealth to your family.

From birth I was raised believing family is everything, it is sort of like fast and furious family theme type of deal, if I can make 100k today or 100 million dollars upon my death, I will pick 100 million dollars upon my death so that my family could live better after I die. That is why I would rather keep my alts as long as I can without ever selling them for any reason at all.
1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Full list of truly decentralized altcoins. on: February 04, 2021, 08:29:41 PM
Honestly truly decentralized is something we haven't even seen yet if you ask me. Why? Because almost all of these has at least one thing that makes them not truly decentralized, it could be some team behind it developing it that has the chance to change things, it could be 51% attack, it could be someone getting 80%+ of all coins via purchasing if they want to and controlling it (which even bitcoin is not totally free from), it could be anything related to transactions and exchanges.

Basically I believe the fully 100% decentralized one is not even around right now, it would be very difficult to manage to make something like that available and I think it is not going to happen but it is definitely something that could be done one day, all we need right now is to find people who would want nothing at all in return of building something like that.
1017  Economy / Economics / Re: after gamestop's short squeeze, reddit turns to doge. 600%+ today on: February 04, 2021, 06:47:09 PM
Meehn Roll Eyes doge has been making some really crazy waves since last year till now. With all those heavy waves there is no doubt that those investors who have been HODL’ing doge steady are filling up their bags right now. The first bull run happened with doge when it was pumped last year, now this is another pump damn! Even at that there are still lots of people who are undertaking doge and saying that it is not worth it. People will keep telling you that a coin is not good, but that coin will be doing great a lot of times and still growing more than the ones that are considered to be good ones.
1018  Economy / Economics / Re: New US presidents are privacy-friendly? on: February 04, 2021, 06:05:34 PM
Eeehm Shocked I don’t think that makes them any more friendly to privacy, because what they did is just a normal thing that they are supposed to do, you don’t just go ahead and approve and instate rules that were created by another government when you haven’t reviewed it all to know what it’s really all about.

Don’t forget that the proposed rules by the former Treasury Secretary is not the only rules, there are many of them and when they go through the whole thing they will then decide the ones that they would approve and the ones that they are not. So, it’s best to just chill and wait for when they have approved it, then we will know the direction they are really heading to.
1019  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there subject to study Cryptocurrency ? on: February 04, 2021, 04:57:39 PM
Cryptocurrency is still new, maybe with time you will start seeing it being talked about in schools. It can fit in Subjects like Economics and Computer Science and Technology. Although right now you can still study about cryptocurrency and blockchain and get a certificate, and as well get a job in these two areas.

I have seen so many jobs around cryptocurrencies and blockchain and their pay is really good. Most of the people I know that are working in these areas didn’t study it in school, some of them graduated with a course that is entirely different an unrelated, but they were able to study it online and become experts with certificate, and it doesn’t take time to do so, it can be in months or highest a year.
1020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 04, 2021, 04:14:25 PM
I still think Lakers have the best chance but people ignore the fact how Lebron plays in playoff games and they forget about his coasting situation during the regular season. This is the same guy who played in clevland, became 4th or even 5th I think in regular season in standings with them, raptors were ranked first and seen as a finals contender, and while playing with a team of literally tanking level team in clevland + just lebron this dude swept 4-0 toronto raptors seen as finals contender, quite literally first ever year Lebron wasn't on east Raptors managed to win a ring (okay this part is a bit of a joke).

Basically all I am saying is the fact that Lebron plays differently on playoffs, when he is on playoffs I will always gamble on his team and never any other team. On top of that, they are even good in regular season this year, think about how better they will get on top of this.
