1001  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whats causing the re rise of BTC? on: November 20, 2020, 09:19:11 PM
After extensive research I and my team have conclusively identified the reason behind bitcoin's price increase over the past few months and it comes down to fake news and the fact that bitcoin is a hoax that has fooled a lot of people. We're going to continue our investigation, including collecting private affidavits of how it's a hoax and hopefully we can present our detailed research and win our proven conclusions so we can save people from the fake news bitcoin hoax. SHORT!
Sounds more like an ironic statement than anything else and was funny to read it.

The price rise was actually expected to happen late every year as it happens but this time the rise happened earlier than expected and more than anticipated so everyone is shocked but to me it is nothing new because if not for the corona virus we might have already reached 25k by now. A big effort was needed to come out of the grove that we were in March this year so we recovered it and then to lift to the price we are now at, I think it's a great success and slap to anyone who called Bitcoin as a bubble.

I was wondering if there is any way the John McAfee's prediction about 1 million dollars has a chance. Here are the (not so) wise words - https://twitter.com/officialmcafee/status/887024683379544065
1002  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆⚽ Adkinsbet.com | Sports | In-Play | ESports | Racebook | Virtual Sports | ⚽🏆 on: November 20, 2020, 08:48:52 PM
At the moment we are in the process of introducing applications that can be used in the Betslip, so that users can accept bets more easily and avoid the delay.
We hope this is implemented tonight or tomorrow night. We are sorry that the delay in live bets is now at 14 seconds, but this will be changed today or tomorrow so that it will not bother you anymore.
We do our utmost to optimize the operation and functions of the site.
I haven't tried the sportsbook yet but yeah the 14 seconds is a bit too long and around 8 seconds should be fine I guess. Nice to see you are working on important aspects and community feedbacks, will try the sportsbook soon.

I checked this section. It means that you can literally bet on any temperature if you want.
But, you could take advantage of that if you are checking the weather forecasts?
I am shocked that such type of betting actually exists because yeah like you said we can take advantage maybe by knowing the weather forecast but surely they must have some way to avoid that if they are offering bets on these events. Betting on weather is the most innovative thing I have read in quite a while!
1003  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin after 3rd Halving prediction on: November 20, 2020, 04:58:52 PM
This new 380k+ thing became a meme at this point. First it was citibank I think? I am not sure but someone from financial world said it, then it was all over social media and now everyone everywhere talks about how bitcoin is going to 380k. One thing people forget that it takes a lot more money to go there than go from 1k to 20k, you could literally go from 1 dollar per bitcoin to 20k dollar per bitcoin with less money than going from 300k to 380k.

It may look like the % is much much smaller but in reality % doesn't matter when we are talking about tens of billions of dollars worth of difference. Obviously it is not going to be simple to reach to 20k neither, there is only 2k left and even that is a challenge because we may drop before that, or may reach it, but 380k is not like that, it is nearly impossible.
1004  Economy / Economics / Re: Still confused why bitcoin is so bullish? on: November 20, 2020, 03:58:19 PM
At over $18k per bitcoin we should be focusing on not why bitcoin is so bullish, but why dollar is so bearish. You may think that making profit thanks to bitcoin could be your way of getting richer but the sad deal is fiat money becomes more and more worthless over years and even though they tell us that inflation is not that bad, in reality it is really horrible.

Go look at house prices just 10 years ago and look at it today, you will realize why inflation is bigger than what they really tell you, maybe the small stuff like bread or potato or whatever didn't really increased in price that much but there are tons of other stuff that went really high. So, we are not really doing that well anymore and bitcoin increase may not save us neither.
1005  Economy / Economics / Re: Waiters/Waitresses/bellboys etc just lost their jobs on: November 20, 2020, 03:09:27 PM
Why not? Why don't all these people retrain into those who create and operate these robots?
After all, it is much more enjoyable to work in a highly technological and highly paid job than sitting with children or guarding a warehouse. Sellers will also end up out of work.
Lmao, you right tho'. People should always consider having a different skills.

Even skills like programming is highly in demand these days and anyone that’s good at it and get a good job that will be paying them more than they will get from being a waiter or waitress and whatever.

Technology is taking over everything, what other choice do we have than to then study things that has to do with technology and go into those areas.

It’s not good to have one skill and just relax in your comfort zone, you have to get out and learn something new.
1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I could consider staking if .... on: November 19, 2020, 03:55:23 PM
I am literally just opposite of this. I want to be able to stake at a website that everyone stakes, I think it is a stake pool and I would love to be part of it. Binance has it for some coins for example and I am really hoping that they do the same for ethereum as well. That way you are depositing your money into the website, and in return they are giving you all the staking profits while you do nothing at all. You do not need a wallet, you do not need 7/24 open PC, or a VPS that would be open that you end up paying each month.

All these websites do is take your money, stake with it, and pay you what you earn from it minus a commission for what they do and I think they deserve it. I understand if it was shady place it would be hard to trust them but in places like Binance it is easy to trust them.
1007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do not trade Alts with BTC these days, You will just lose on: November 19, 2020, 12:39:20 PM
Even though the price of altcoins falls relative to bitcoin, it always has ups and downs and if we grasp that we can still make a profit.
So some good traders can still make great profits when trading altcoin.
Yeah, pro traders can always use the market in any situation and make profits but the point made in OP is actually valid because trading alts and making profit right now is hard and if you just convert them into Bitcoins and save them you can easily make better profits than you would make with altcoins because the price of Bitcoins is moving at a much higher rate as compared to altcoins.

Smart traders always see how the bitcoin market is behaving and if it is going down they take the opportunity and grab some good altcoins while if the market is going up like it is right now, they just hold their Bitcoins.
1008  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is the secret to success in trading? on: November 19, 2020, 10:05:31 AM
If you have this qualification and you keep enhancing your skills the edge is really high compared to those who doesn't have.
Simply being prepared and well organized will allow you to get good compensations.
Actually one must consider trading as a no-edge sports gambling so basically the better you analyze teams, the conditions and how many units you want to bet. Similarly in trading you determine which coin/token you want to invest, analyze everything about it and then do a technical analysis of the token along with fundamental analysis if you are aware and able to do that. The better you consider each point in depth the higher your chances are for having profits.

Trading should be more on skills and not just like doing some gamble where you are risking your money in hope that luck will allow you to know what's the winning pairs to invest in.
Gambling is bad when you are making bets on casino because you cannot use your skills and there is an house edge, imagine how easy and possible it would be for us gamblers if there was a sportsbook running without any house edge. Also sports betting has the element of analysis hence the house edge is much higher in sports betting as compared to other casinos' games.
1009  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Extreme greed on the market on: November 19, 2020, 09:30:36 AM
I am one of those who rarely use the fear and greed index when trading, maybe I feel that I don't fit with the strategy I use.
I mostly use volume indicators and RSI in trading, the more reliable and accurate I think. But that doesn't mean the fear and
greed index is bad, but using the fear and greed index only makes me panic if there is a bullish market.
I don't know about these features and never used them and maybe that is why I am still able to hold my coins because if I start getting worried by these charts and parameters then I will be tempted to sell my coins. I hardly ever use these and all I know in simple is, the demand will increase and the halving will cause a shrink in the sell orders which means the supply will be limited which eventually means the price should rise, as simple as that.

I like how people are now again trusting in the market and even when the price touched bottom this year, I was one of the most relaxed investors and actually bought a little bit more because again the demand and supply chain will never end and it is made in such a way that the demand always increases while the supply shrinks further as we go.
1010  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 commission on LTC investments is at 35% till 31. Dec on: November 18, 2020, 05:14:33 PM
However, I do agree that lately they haven't been too exciting.  I was away for 7-8 days, but I am home now, and I will try to have a discussion with Ethan this week about prizes/competitions and see if we can come up with a more exciting solution. Smiley
Hello @Kiritsugu

Is it doable that aside from changing prizes and implementing new competitions, YOLO can also integrate the lightning network? The decline of user base really bothers me a lot especially on the part of YOLOdice and I think one important factor in order to regain traction is by adding another layer of payment?

I am aware that it would be technical and difficult  Cry but for the sake of YOLOdice being alive is important.
I will ask Ethan if he has any plans about this when I speak with him tomorrow. Smiley
I feel like we are expecting way too much from yolodice, they know their own numbers and we can't know about it unless we are shared the data. Maaaybe they have a lower userbase, but that is only because you see the user numbers during when you check the website out and you do not open it 24/7 so you may not know, maybe during periods when you are not online they have a lot more people? However even if them not getting same amount of user base as they used to, may not mean that they are not making profit neither.

After all, they could be making a ton more profit with few more whales compared to having hundreds of small fish, instead of having people gamble with 10-50k satoshi they may need just one guy with 1 bitcoin gambling and it would be better for them?
1011  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lambo Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: November 18, 2020, 04:23:32 PM
As a big NBA fan I can say that you might as well not do this and it would have been better. We have to guess top 5 (which shouldn't be really that impossible, but still not a guaranteed thing neither) AND we get "share" of 100 dollars? You are basically giving away 100 dollars for sure (to at least one or probably more) and still manage to do something bad somehow, I know it sounds weird, and you may say "how could I be doing something bad when I am giving away free money?" and I can sense that.

Let me explain, for people who wager on NBA, we like to follow up these things religiously and for someone to predict top 5 NBA, they can't just be some nobody that gambles on soccer and saw this and came here, you have to actually know the players in the draft and teams who would need players to certain positions, so it is safe to say a "share" of 100 dollars looks like you do not understand how hard it is and how devoted one needs to be in order to predict it correctly.
1012  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin break its previous ATH record of 20K before end of 2020? on: November 17, 2020, 04:57:01 PM
I believe there is a huge potential that it could do it. We are just $3k away from it right now and that is under 20% increase for now, and we all know that 20% increase is nothing in crypto world, so it could definitely happen at any moment now. I don't know when it will happen or how it will happen but I feel like not only we can break over $20k but we could go even further.

Looks like if we keep this pace up, before November ends we could reach to $20k levels and after that when December comes we could make a run for making a new all time high that would be hard to break. Hopefully we will not drop too much after these huge runs, because going high is a great thing but going very low after that high has been horrible for the past three years since last ATH.
1013  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Stays Above USD 13,000, Altcoins Take Hit on: November 17, 2020, 04:25:45 PM
Looking at coinmarketcap we could easily say that bitcoin has increased incredibly high, getting very close to $17k right now and we also see that altcoins are breaking their yearly highs (even few yearly highs) so it is safe to say altcoins lacked behind for a while but they are there now. Obviously on the first days altcoins weren't reacting as fast as bitcoin because that is the first coin that everyone uses, but after bitcoin started to go up and stayed going up, altcoins took a hit first but realized it is a long term situation and joined on the fun as well!

So, I assume we are going to see a lot higher prices from both bitcoin but also altcoins and it will continue down this way. When we stop, bitcoin will be first one to fall but after that altcoins will fall later too.
1014  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Biden Early Payout! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: November 16, 2020, 07:47:13 PM
Imagine claiming to be the majority; Imagine using gossip to prove a point; The exact reason why Trump is going to win

The real news is looking good, PA invalidated 650k ballots, US Army raided dominion servers in Germany. Twitter shutting down dominionvotingsystems hashtag and more.

You know nothing, global gambling leading platforms are holding this because they know it's going to the Supreme Court and that Jan 20 is the deadline in this case, media is fake.

You claim to know more than them: https://www.foxbusiness.com/money/gambling-sites-refuse-to-call-election-for-biden-leaving-600-million-in-limbo

The Kraken is about be released: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFCXPw1t17o&ab_channel=TheEricMetaxasRadioShow

This thread is gonna look funny in two months. I'm out of this thread until Jan 20.
"going to win" ? He already lost mate Cheesy. There is no turning back from this. PA invalidated 650k uncasted ballots, literally "we have sent this out but they didn't vote" and nothing like you imagine it is Cheesy lol. If you have zero clue about elections, maybe you should not make a point at all. The scarily huge ignorant part is simply not realizing election officials shared the results, they are out there, it is not media.

All Trump fans keep talking about how "media doesn't decide on who wins" and yet fails to realize media doesn't get their sources from their friends, they get it from PUBLIC OFFICIALS, like literally people who give the last result to government, literally people who count the votes. Bets are paid up here and they will keep paying up Biden bets in all other places, stake did the right thing.
1015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CHAINLINK ,BAT future and price predictions??? on: November 16, 2020, 05:40:01 PM
Chainlink would need to gather a lot more users to be feasible, right now it is not at that level and even though there is a good potential there, just having high potential doesn't make a coin valuable, it just makes it a good idea. As long as execution lacks, there won't be anything worth to invest into and slowly but surely it will drop out of existence just like many came before it.

Hence I believe unless something changes with the user numbers in chainlink, we have seen the maximum level it could reach, from now on it will not become any better than what it is today and that is the scary thought about it, however if user numbers change and they could find a lot more chainkink investors and traders, they could potentially get a lot bigger than many other competition in the market.
1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think Ripple (XRP) will rise to moon. on: November 16, 2020, 05:00:14 PM
I doubt it would rise to moon but more importantly I doubt it would ever feel like it is needed from now on. It was created because it is cheap to transfer money with it, people still use it today because when you send just 1 cent or if you send 1 billion dollars it doesn't matter it is very cheap and fast, you can do it instantly without paying much and that is why it was known.

However more and more projects are coming out this way and more importantly they come out with instant and almost free transactions as not their focus point, they have that but on top of that they have more stuff as well. So, I am assuming there will be a point in crypto world where people will say enough with XRP and move to other stuff and XRP will lose its spot very quickly.
1017  Economy / Economics / Re: China is looking to get rid of the US dollar on: November 16, 2020, 04:19:43 PM
Well, it is simply just a method China uses in order to not be dependent on USA too much and it makes sense from their part. China works with USA the most, or at least they did and maybe that changed in the recent years with trade wars or maybe not I don't know the most recent situation who they work most with.

However that did affected their income and their situation a lot and just like how apple and other american companies are looking to move away from China to India and other nations, China is also looking to get money from other nations and get stuff made there as well in order to not have one huge customer from USA  and have multiple from other nations and not put all their eggs in one basket. Both parties are right about what they are doing if you ask me.
1018  Economy / Economics / Re: Need of the hour : Use the Crisis on: November 16, 2020, 03:02:03 PM
I really like the thinking and optimistic approach mentioned in the OP but there are some problems which when you start you will face.

- You will need to find a way to promote your new business or whatever you are planning to do.
- You need to ensure that while you are earning you are also ensuring that either the business has growth potential otherwise you will just get caught in a small business without any potential.
- If you had a job and lost it, try to find a new one and in your spare time do these food stalls or whatever but do not get in the comfort zone because once you start earning with your own business you might settle within it.

So do these things to earn money in hard times but make sure you are not getting caught with these once the pandemic ends.
1019  Economy / Economics / Re: Is COVID-19 an excuse for governments & central banks to print money? on: November 16, 2020, 05:07:54 AM
Many souls has been wasted by the virus called covid-19 which came to the world in the month of March that is harding the government to find the vaccine to cure those who are isolation center. Government is do everything possible to make sure the economy is be fix back, to start working in the country as usual. More money to be print for the government to assist those who where affected by the corona virus in the country.
There is no doubt that corona virus changed how we see the world and how across country trades will happen in future will be changed forever but the topic we are discussing here is how government have used this pandemic to hide their economic disasters and exaggerate the influence of corona virus such that people feel like they are suffering all because of the virus while the truth is the government was already making it worse even without the pandemic.

One good example is how Chinese government tacked the situation, the virus spread started from there but now look at their economy they have recovered so nicely so if they have been able to control things why others have failed? That is because they got a good excuse to hide their economic disasters behind the pandemic.
1020  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - $1,000 Daily Race! 30% Rakeback! Advanced Dice Game🎲 2.000 Bets/s⚡ on: November 15, 2020, 05:22:50 PM
You guys making fully off topic discussion here. Better to create a thread at altcoin section and discuss about xrp there.
We are literally talking about XRP and Doge in context of wolf.bet and not the coins themselves. If this was a discussion about the coins themselves and how they are good or bad I would understand why we should be in altcoin section or altcoin speculation but this is not a talk about that at all.

This is about how gambling with btc or eth in wolf.bet comes along with a huge transaction fee and not a bad minimum to withdrawal, which means we could just pick xrp or doge and we could have both faster, cheaper and also lower minimum transactions and can deposit and gamble and withdraw however we want if we pick them. So, it is talking about two altcoins that is correct but it is also talking about them in wolf.bet context and nothing outside of this topic.
