Just thinking, it would be awesome if the exchanges were staking and donated a percentage of their income to the causes (not sure if exchanges stake or not), that would add a great amount to the total. I wonder if they are aware of the feature, some might want to participate - might be good for their image.
Staking for charity does open a wealth of possibilities, indeed. I am very excited to see all the ways it will be leveraged by the entire EverGreenCoin ecosystem. |

I discovered evergreen today, and it is a surprise to see that this project is unknown ... I would like to ask you a question: on the first page you talk about Q1 with solar staker beta and spring tree planty.
Are these two phases completed? Or will it end soon? in March ?

All is ready and is waiting for Charity supporters. EGC will be the place to support your environment and Charity Projects that you like. With the new Staking for Charity option it will be easy for Investors to support good causes. In the same time it will be a hotspot for education and non-technical adoption. If you want to support some Projects you can use the Crowdfunding options or Stake for Charity if you bought some EGC. Hi, I use to keenly follow the crypto market till last year, evergreen coin was a hot coin right about the time I decided to take a break. The market cap was almost $4 mil. i was expecting this coin to rise even further, I am stunned to find it now only has $80 k market cap  . What happened ? Seriously? Thought this was a great project to save energy. I still feel this is a good idea, I just want to know if the project is still active or is this project dying? Is there any active development and future plans like a roadmap? Is the developer still interested in continuing this project. Thanks Pasa. It was being pumped then. So the community is aware, the block explorer will be going down for maintenance this afternoon. It will be going down for a complete re-index including rebuilding the database and will be down for a few hours while this is performed.

I pushed my market making robot onto Bittrex a few days ago - its now automatically adding trnsactions to the buy and sell threads every time there is some movement (trigger is a few percent change right now) - should help to increase volume a little. I don't have a huge amount of EGC at stake there - but I'm gradually adding to it.

How to participate in the meeting? If possible, I will try to attend.
What's the main topic of the meeting?
The EverGreenCoin community meeting and hangout is a Google Hangout. To participate, you will just need to follow a link I will post at the time of the meeting. The Google Hangout web application will work on a mobile device, a laptop, or a desktop. A webcam and microphone are optional. There is text group chat you can participate in. Even participation is optional, if you would just like to observe. You may want to visit https://hangouts.google.com/ and familiarise yourself prior, if you have time. There really is no 'main' topic, as we usually just chat about current events, both in and out of EverGreenCoin, for an hour or two. We usually start the meeting, after we make sure all participants' device is functioning the way they wish, by me going over a list of all the items I know people will be curious about. I address these 'hot topics' in an opening summary before people have to ask me but, of course, we repeat those topics when latecomers arrive or when further elaboration is requested. At this next meeting two of these 'hot topics' will be the now past hardfork and the results of it and the status of the Android app... perhaps a surprise or two to follow.  In many regards, it is more of a 'hangout' than a 'meeting' as conversations do drift into many topics. I hope you will be able to attend, rotzbouf! EDIT: I forgot to mention the 'hot topic' of the solar staker. We will be discussing that. Perhaps if the weather cooperates I can have a small demonstration of my prototype. |

Hey, just wondering - is there a way to view the number of coins minted per day? Just wanted to do some calculations - if I'm working things out correctly ,the maximum of new coins per day should be around 2500 if every wallet is being staked, would be interesting to see the actual number.
One would have to monitor coin supply for that. The explorer shows that info, as does the statistics tab ('Total EGC Volume') in the wallet or the getinfo RPC command ('moneysupply'). In my observations of the past, it was below 1000 per day. Thanks =) I can't find the Stats tab on the explorer that I'm looking at, maybe I'm on an old site. Is http://158.69.205.238:3001/ still the correct link? I can't find an alternative on the OP or the website.
