A good idea, for now, is to trade because I think this is more profitable. All average coins easily experience price changes and that happens every day. Buy when the price of a coin decreases and sells when the price rises. Even though it's risky and not easy to do, it's best to survive now.

I personally believe that since I am involved in some other activities, I can not give the required time and flexibility which requires for the short term trade but as I can always take some time out of my schedule, I can use that time for research and it helps me to determine long term investment plans. As far as my experience is concerned, a newbie should take his time and start investing for the long term where he always has the opportunity to restructure his investment as per his knowledge and research which is usually difficult for a newbie to do in the short term.
but in my opinion a beginner is better off trading short term, because it will make him more time to learn directly and hone his skills, if he often interacts with the market, he will find out more quickly about market conditions. I think long term trading will beneficial more than daily trading because daily trading had lot of work to do but long term trading will not be like this in daily trading the tensions are most important thing for us that's why saying this. There is no thumb rule for trading and thus a trader can learn to trade in the short term as well as in the long term. However, when a new person enters into the market and starts trading, it is the period of excitement without much experience and knowledge about the market. I have observed that new trader often believes his initial results and assume it as benchmarking situation which is not true at all. Every trade is unique and hence some disappointments in early trades might destroy his interest in trading whereas having the larger timeline for trading can give some experience of the market and new trader gets time to settle. I think the long term trading will be there right way to get more useful for our future but that daily trading is also profitable but the enough money will not be make able to survey our life but it depends upon the situation so we can definitely choose either short term or long time investment. Both trading terms are good, profitable and none is without a risk. As a trader, it is advisable to have a long term trade while one can always do some quick day trades. However, one must still know what works for him/her and stick to it. Last comment is absolutely true, why not to do both if you can, keep some coins for long term trades, and you always have an option to do some quick trades. In my experience people should try both and find what suits them more, both can be profitable, for daily trading you need to have more time, long term is much more relaxed trading. I`m more long trader now after so much time, daily trading is not for me, I`m losing more money like that, with long term trades I hit some good profits along the way, just you need to be patient and believe in your investment. |

Regarding your decision I think for the near term to be more cautious, due to last year's big decline and the lower level of trust making the value decline, the most severe correction that continues to occur when a small increase. Near or long term for cryptocurrencies is the same, at least for some of them. We expect too much from some of the cryptocurrencies, from the top ones we expect even more. What ever the reason of that the important with that is we need to push the market to start bull run. But how we can do that, if we buy more cryptocoins we can do that. Anyway cryptopia exchange is located in New Zeland, they sure have some laws about it and police is involved too, they will found out was it a hack or inside job. I have seen many times; in low volume exchanges, prices are not at all reflecting compared to major exchanges. But, catching every swing is more important for day trading. By considering these, I am suggesting to go for major exchanges so that you could find all your needs for your success with day trading. My bottom line suggestion : please switch to long term trading in cryptos if you find you are not good with day trading one day or another.

We may go for trading any coin but we need to make sure that we are having enough volume within our exchange otherwise we may need to go for another coin or need to switch the exchange for one particular coin. Enough volume is one thing, it should represent how many people are trading on specific platform, more people is always better. When it comes which coins is the best for trading I need to say the ones with highest range in fluctuations, bitcoin is still the best for day trading. Bitcoin to the moon is sufficient and its our favorite term and I guess bitcoin to the Mars is a different thing. We may not see the grow that we want for this year but see to it when the halving ends by 2020, we can see a very unexpected price hike by that time.

Banks may take the place of miners and become a controller and also a miner. Even though, some of mining companies might be sold to banks in a few years. If this happened, goverments would take measures against cryptocurrency owners and they would try to control totally all the system via legislation.
They would need to invest heavily in mining equipment, so heavily in order to have some mining power. I don`t doubt that they have money for that, but is it better for them to mine bitcoin or to try to mine some other coin, they can even make their own coin, and maybe that`s the best thing they can do. I doubt that they can overtake bitcoin mining from current miners, but its one of those things that are easier to say than to do. Controlling all cryptocurrencies is impossible, they can`t control all chains, all platforms, do you even know how big this is? |

I hold coins on many places, online wallets, hardware wallets, exchanges, depends what plan I have with them. If they are for longterm holding I always choose hardware wallet, I like to have private keys, without them its like you dont have coins at all, they can disappear just like that. But I like to trade, for that sometimes I feel I need to do things quickly so I have some amounts in my online wallets. On exchanges I have some of my picks from alts, I hold them there and I plan to sell them when price changes, i don`t like to transfer them a lot cause I lose a lot like that, its risky, but choosing the right, trustful exchange calm me down.
