1021  Economy / Speculation / Re: When bitcoin will hit $1 million ! on: August 23, 2019, 05:06:11 PM
One million dollar isn't an easy think to acquire for just one bitcoin to be acquired in exchange for one million dollar, is really funny as op said Grin

I wonder who among us will be around then.
I remember this is speculation board now. Shocked

Try buying a Picasso. Just a piece of paper with some paint on it.
Bitcoin can grow higher than 1 million. The people with 1BTC will be the richest on the planet.
1022  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Declining. on: August 23, 2019, 02:56:08 PM
True. If one thing is near certain it is the multi year bull market.
So if you are willing to wait 5 years any time is a good time to buy.  Kiss

I could wait for that long because I'm a real believer and I don't expect the past will be repeated easily although I hope it could happen any time this year.
We are left with no option now but to hold, Bitcoin is declining is not much of a problem to me as so far this year it's still up, hence that means it's starting its recovery. What makes me worry this year is the altcoins, I know some of us here invested in altcoins also, and they had not started to rise yet.

Once Bitcoin goes parabolic and people are going all FOMO, then bitcoin will be sold out at a lot of places.
Altcoins will then be interesting and climb.

1025  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Creation Cost vs Price: The True BOTTOM on: August 23, 2019, 05:50:58 AM
this is utterly wrong like always.

the market decides what the bitcoin price is not the miners. the market doesn't check how much it costs miners to mine bitcoin! if it decides price should be $10 and cost of mining is $50 then it will be $10 no matter what. and if it decided it should be $100 and cost was $50 again the price will be $100 no matter what.

if you check the bitcoin history you can clearly see this is true!

I don’t really care if you agree or not. Facts don’t really care if people agree with them. I’m trying to help people understand this market. I don’t know what you are trying to do.

It is simply the reality. Doesn’t matter if you agree.

Red-Apple states that your data does not add up and your facts are false. I agree with him. Miners have mined at a loss many times previously. Also traders don’t give a rats ass what a miner needs to pay. Simple supply demand economics apply to bitcoin.

You answer that facts do not care if people agree with them and state that your facts are therefore true.
You state that “it is simply reality”... these are things what unknowing people say when they can’t provide proof.

You are NOT helping people understand the market. You are NOT listening to any input whatsoever. You are only selling your bullshit TA to screw people out of their money.

Have a nice day  Kiss
1026  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Creation Cost vs Price: Finding The Real Bottom on: August 22, 2019, 08:39:23 PM
Mining is not worth the hassle. It is cheaper to buy the coins directly. It used to be a good reason to buy a good GPU.

My bank continues to crack down on me. Just got a call that I can't withdraw my money from kraken to my bank account anymore.

As annoying as this is, it's also good news. If they didn't think bitcoin mattered they wouldn't bother. I'll just have to do all my business in person, maybe use the occasional atm.

In which country are you having this problem. (I intend to use Kraken to withdraw too in the future)

1035  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin will Hit $100,000 in or Before 2022 on: August 21, 2019, 05:09:58 PM
$100k no way. Probably the largest group of retail bitcoin buyers during the end of 2017-2018 got their asses handed to them and they are either still underwater or have left the crypto scene altogether. Couple that with most alts  down about 90-95% in the same time frame. Its going to be a tough sell going forward. We may be lucky to see $35-$40k. Then we will see a crash back to under $10k and lose another generation of investors. #viciouscycle

Ps to show how slow growth is look at 2017 price was at $20k, here we are almost 2yrs later worth of buying and adoption and bitcoin being spread out to even more people worldwide and the price is still half of what it was? Is this progress? That isnt progress. Its regression. We are keeping the early adopters piggy banks full and all they have to do is keep the plebs dreams alive.

1036  Economy / Speculation / Re: The New 2 Step Process To Insure You Make BILLIONS! BY MILTON FRIEDMAN JR on: August 21, 2019, 04:55:25 PM
Holding is not a very bad idea, but trading is also going to fetch you some money, do you know that if you buy 1 bitcoin and you had done scalp trading professionally from the time bitcoin started rising, and you don’t go on leverage trade that will force you to apply stop loss to your trade, you would have even ,made that $100k by now.

Holding is not that easy to practice alone, and it comes down to why I usually do advise people to try as much as possible to practice both, it is when they have trading activities to supplement their holding activity that they can wait for that long and not sell even when bitcoin touches values that are before the $100k, at least with trading they would still be making money and not feel or miss their long term investment.

Do you know that almost all exchanges that existed 5 years ago got hacked.
Chances you would have lost everything is quite high.

HODL is the safest (and easiest) way to get good returns.
Trading can give better returns but watch out with stop loss and going short.
1037  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who Else is Expecting the Ultimate Rise of Bitcoin? on: August 21, 2019, 04:49:43 PM
If the Federal Reserve continues printing dollars exponentially, the dollar price of Bitcoin will continue to rise exponentially, so eventually it will reach $100,000 per coin. And that is what is going to happen over the next few years. Why? Because the Fed and other central banks around the world believes that printing more currency bills will help boost the economy.

Well if your prediction involves the further devaluation of USA's fiat currency then you are right that Bitcoin will go up by 100,000$. But knowing that U.S. isn't dumb enough or even their central bank to print their money "exponentially" without the demand backing them up then what they will just do is oversupply their own fiat currency which further devalues it. The rest of the factors you have stated doesn't even translate to Bitcoin increasing in price and in fact all of them are still conditional if the people really do participate in the market.

Most money is generated by the banks.
So banks do generate dollars close to exponentially.

1038  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 21, 2019, 02:48:31 PM
With secure transactions you can get this.

Example:

Account X with BTC100
You send BTC1 to Account Y

Account Z is created by your secure wallet
BTC1 will be sent to Account Y
BTC99 will be sent to Account Z

Your remaning balance is now in account Z
The stats say BTC100 was moved even if BTC1 was actually sent out to a foreign account.

P.S. This is done to protect your public key aswell as your private key. Only when BTC is sent does the source address need to provide it's public key.
