Where would the holo go on the bar? I don't see an empty smooth surface that would allow the holo to stick cleanly.
hello bithalo No , there's no specific place on the bar for the Holo. They are there to seal the paper wallet. Best regards Are you providing the paper wallet along with the bar? If so, are there pictures of it? If not, then the holos don't really serve a purpose other than giving us generic holos for us to use elsewhere. The .999 Fine Silver concerns me, when the bar is plated. Items should not be stated Fine Silver, which implies that its solid, when they're plated. I do think the design in nice and wish you well with your project.

Haven't really thought about it much, and not sure it's needed, but a more general PM (precious metals) board would make more sense, and would likely gain more support. Lot of overlap there.
I'm not sure I like the Precious Metals idea as much as Physical Cryptos / Coins. Sure, most coins are made of precious metals, but many aren't, including the latest Genesis Coin. I'd hate to exclude that one. It's fun. Regards, Me To second that, not all cryptos are coins...they can be bars, cards, paper wallets, etc.. made of various materials

Got mine in today. Very nice with some different things compared to the Artist Proofs.
Nice one, cant wait to get mine. I think we're still 3 short for the EU group buy though. I checked and do have 10 of these top loaders available for sale
Probably wouldn't be worth sending 2 to the UK would it? Shipping would likely be around $25 to UK if sent Priority mail. I personally think that's too much. I sent something today to monkeynuts in the UK in a flat rate Intl envelope at that price

To be clear, the holos are the same, but the paper with the addresses are different colors.

I agree with this. I see a lot of interest in physical coins in the goods section.

Hi BG4,
Can you please tell me the size of these wallets so I can order some protective sleeves.
I've got 2 of your wallets ordered with Mitchell in the EU group buy.
They are 8.5 x 11 inches Recommended protective sleeves Excellent thank you . If anyone grabs a bunch of these toploaders I'd be interested in purchasing 2 or 3 off of you. I had recommended these to the OP initially. I should have about 10 extra ones of these to spare, but will need to confirm tomorrow when I return home. PM me for more info. I would sell for $1.50 ea + shipping out of the US.

I can vouch for the OP. I received some of the first bitcoins from them. They were kind enough to send me a free silver plate version when I ordered the gold plated.

Out of interest what size are these and whats the best way to store them safely? Also are they likely to fade unless they're kept in the dark? I've already got my name down for 2 in the Euro group buy . He told me that he used "Ultra Pro Plastic Letter Sized Sleeves" for his proof notes. Cheers Mitchell, I'lll wait for dimensions before ordering protective sleeves. EDIT: All the results I get from Ebay, Google and Amazon when I search "Ultra Pro Plastic Letter Sized Sleeves" bring up Pokemon or Yugioh playing card sleeves . This is what he used for the proofs. http://www.amazon.com/UltraPro-ULTRAPRO-8-1-11-TOPLOADERS/dp/B000XEMXBM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1435623733&sr=8-1&keywords=11+toploader

You should take a picutre of all of them and post it here! That is a lot of different wallets!
I'm out of town now, but could do that when I return in a couple days

In for one. I'd like the lowest available number please. Sent a PM also.

The CAD design that people preordered with showed more of a clean background with much less antiquing and ultra high relief.
What I got was very rough sanded backgrounds with flat relief and tons of antiquing.
I wouldn't care if people knew ahead of time what they were getting.

That ghost note looks sweet. Would love to see a limited run of those.

After mentioning your feedback to Alec John our sales manager he has authorised the exchange of any customer who is not happy with there coin.
Please pm me if you wish to exchange out the coins. We will arrange new coin and send you pictures in advance so you can check. Once we receive your coins back we will ship out the replacements.
We strive to deliver good customer service and satisfy our customers. Overall we have had a great response from customers. The antique process darkens the coin colour and brings out definitions which would otherwise be lost.
Mandy
Appreciate the offer. I collect all crypto coins, so I'll keep it even if it's not what I expected.

Hi, Yes, You posted on this thread that you purchased coin number 14 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1078352.0Coin number 14 was delivered 12 Jun 2015 15:24 I believe you where among the first people to order, Congratulations. If you you have your coin handy upload some pics would be great if you shared your experience. Mandy Mandy, I'll be honest. I was disappointed in the finish of the coins. The preorder pictures showed a ultra high relief with mirror like polished background. After I preordered, the pictures were switched out with a much flatter design with rough sanded backgrounds. I feel like it was a bait and switch for anybody who preordered and went off the original CAD design expecting that. The coin could have had great potential, but I was extremely disappointed with the end result. The price isn't cheap, so I expected a more premium product, similar to a Alitin Mint coin.

Thanks Mandy. I did order one of these when they came out.
