1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will XRP repeat last 2017 bull run? on: December 19, 2019, 03:11:49 AM
Anything is possible but there's also next to impossible because the only reason why XRP reached its all-time high is because of the bull run of Bitcoin. People should realize that no matter what happens to altcoins, they still depend on the price of Bitcoin. If Bitcoin is were to reduced in price, it's likely that all altcoins will follow.
1042  Economy / Speculation / Re: Two Years Ago, Bitcoin Was Over $19,000 — What Happened? on: December 19, 2019, 02:46:59 AM
11 months ago bitcoin was $3,600, now look at the price. I'm doubting that the next big bull run will happen anytime soon because people were stupid back then, they thought that Bitcoin is a get rich scheme investment which pulled a lot of people, even non-investors, into investing into Bitcoin. That cause the Bull run to reach $19,000.
1043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for bounties on: December 18, 2019, 02:48:34 AM
Why don't you try GOLD bounty campaign? They offer bounties for signature, twitter, contents, and even small youtube task. Though they don't pay stakes in the signature campaign, the fixed pay is still decent. In my opinion, the project is doing pretty well. I've been participating for 4 months now and I can confirm that they do pay their participants. Here's the link if you are interested: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5161544
1044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is very bad for the European crypto community! on: December 18, 2019, 01:00:41 AM
I don't see it as a war though. It's not like they are banning cryptocurrency altogether, they are just making some regulations to avoid money laundering and potential scams. The businesses still have the ability to operate if they can comply to the new law. I mean, this new laws would also mean that people could be sure of something if they are legit and their government recognized the business.
1045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance’s IEOs keep Dumping, but why? on: December 17, 2019, 05:02:34 AM
I'm not a fan of Binance Initial Exchange offering (IEO) but this dumping happen to Matic is very hurt specially if you are holding matic well if you take a look the chart history of matic in the past you will noticed a good run for this altcoin, but always remember not all the time the altcoin will stay on the top.
Just because they launched their IEO on Binance do no make them a trustworthy coin or being capable to stand the race in time.
Probably the coin was a 'very good' shitcoin which was designed for this exact purpose. They draw what seems to be a good plan, launch the IEO on Binance, wait for some months then dump it drastically.
Trusting cryptocurrency project these days is hard.

Typical pump and dump schemes. I just can't believe that people still believe in this kind of things. I don't care if Binance is one of the leading exchanges in the world, at this point, all new projects are shit. Look at the price history, it looks so sketchy, getting pumped in a short amount of time. The Matic team probably saw an opportunity to make more money just like what the dev of Ethereum did to his coin.

1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese City Warns Investors: Crypto Isn’t Blockchain on: December 17, 2019, 04:44:04 AM
What I've understood, they are educating their people to avoid scams. It's true that most of the exchanges or new projects are scams anyway. Though they don't condone the use of cryptocurrency but promote Blockchain. Investors could still invest in Bitcoin or the top cryptocurrencies if they want though, they just need to be creative.
1047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So when will we see a high budget Bitcoin movie? on: December 17, 2019, 04:17:12 AM
Like what do we need Bitcoin movie for? It's not like Bitcoin is a novel or something like that. Bitcoin is a technology that will create a solution against the centralization of monetary value. We need an actual use that people would use in their everyday life! not a fantasy about it. Even if it's a movie about education, most people won't bother learning new technologies or fundamentals about a certain technology, they want something that they could use in an easy way.

the goal of people making films is usually to make a profit, maybe they think bitcoin-themed films aren't very profitable, because bitcoin is not very understood by many people, even in my environment only a few people understand about bitcoin.

People really don't need to fully understand bitcoin for film directors/companies to profit off them though. When talking about documentaries, sure probably. But movies? Nah. Just create a story on how a drug dealer uses bitcoin to sell his stuff; and add some CIA stuff and FBI pursuing him with guns and helicopters and stuff, and you're golden.

And that's how you make a bad impression of Bitcoin to the public. Good job!

1048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $100 million worth of ETH? on: December 16, 2019, 12:30:26 PM
He is very smart for doing that. Who in their right mind would buy something when they are at the peak price? Sheeples. In my opinion, it will be close to impossible to reach all-time high of ETH again because there's just not enough hype for dumb people to invest in cryptocurrency scams again.
1049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin save U.S. from its rising national debt? on: December 16, 2019, 11:30:38 AM
All I can see for now is that the US citizen will use Bitcoin to save their money from the impending (If not resolved) dollar crash. If the US government doesn't have any plan on paying their debt, how can Bitcoin help in that matter when it was their government who are against it.
1050  Local / Pilipinas / Re: 🔥 🔥The BITCOIN Market Psychology (Nakakaurat minsan) Sad but True🔥 🔥 on: December 16, 2019, 11:20:41 AM
1051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are stablecoins a definite solution against a bear market? on: December 13, 2019, 02:00:41 AM
Stablecoins serves its purpose to retain the capital of the investors. It might not be the "definite" solution for the bear market but stablecoins helps traders trade without losing much from altcoins. I'd say it's a good solution for traders and investors a like because they don't have to convert their capital into a shitty coin to avoid Bitcoin losses.
1052  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I forgot the password from wallet.dat 18.2 BTC on: December 13, 2019, 01:48:52 AM
Maybe it was your birthday or something relevant to you? Maybe you've written it down and you forgot where you put it. Try to find those if you can. If you can't, I think there's a software called btcrecover which brute force forgot passwords. Maybe you should give it a try to see if you are able to get the password on your own.

1053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beginner needs advice for portfolio on: December 12, 2019, 03:36:41 AM
In my opinion, you are lacking exchange coin like BNB. BNB is getting hyped nowadays for some reason. If it were to continue then there's a chance that it will increase in price for the upcoming days. Don't worry about BNB getting sucked because it is one of the most famous coins around here. I also recommend doge coin if you want something simple.
1054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Bitcoin scampany got rekt! on: December 12, 2019, 03:33:26 AM
I can't believe that on this year that most of ponzi scheme was already exposed, There is still many people that falling for that scheme and that whoooping 722M$ is an insane
amount. I'm too lazy to read the article but it's hard to believe that they still collected 722M for a cloud mining investment compared on many legit ICO run during 2018 to 2019.
What's really happening in crypto world?  Huh

Don't be surprised, people will always be stupid when it comes to money because we aren't taught how to handle it properly in our school days. We really can't blame them though. They've probably met them in person to make it more believable. Most of the investors are probably new too.
1055  Economy / Services / Re: Front End Engineer/Developer on: December 11, 2019, 12:06:14 PM
Empty words with no portfolio to show.
1056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altseason soon or not ? on: December 11, 2019, 02:04:44 AM
I don't think so. Altseason might not come to us for the next few years. Bitcoin is the only thing that will increase in price as more and more stablecoins gets created each day as an alternative for altcoins. The only reason why alts moon in 2017 is because people have no idea what they are investing in. Today, a lot had happened since then and investors learned what's up now.
1057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Reasons Why Bitcoin Is Strong Today And Will Continue To Grow on: December 11, 2019, 01:57:52 AM
5. Volatility will minimize as the public at large becomes less sensitive to everything the media spews out and as more users adopt it.

Nope. Volatility will only subside when there's a heavy regulation put in it. Being less sensitive to something doesn't really mean it will become less volatile. What makes Bitcoin volatile is that most investors treats it as an individual investment with no limit. There's no rule to it and they can invest and do what ever they want with it. That drives the price. Even if we reach $1,000,000 price or the people accepts it, it will still be volatile.
1058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why every IEO on P2PB2B exchange? on: December 10, 2019, 06:43:09 AM
Because dumb investors invest in those shitty coins even though the exchange is shitty itself. Why do you think they are still doing it after so many fail IEO? It's because of those stupid investors keeps on investing and this investors will realized it too late they they've invested in a scam. Also, I bet that exchange gets free money from those projects too.
1059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fight against Bitcoin is coming. Are we ready?! on: December 10, 2019, 06:38:32 AM
To be honest, what can we do if we did that? They have the power and the authority to do what they want. They can pass bills that they want and they will do what ever it takes to get approved. I think the only thing that we can do is to stay anonymous and continue to use Bitcoin until they realize what they are missing. They can't can try to make some resistance against Bitcoin but they can't stop it entirely.
1060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Lava - New Zcoin fork on: December 09, 2019, 04:21:24 AM
Basically you just want to make a POS coin with faucet distribution? I mean what's new? You don't have your starting developers? Why would they interest in this? What's your plan? Your road map? There's too little information. I bet you are just going to make things along the way without any proper long term plan. You don't even have a proper ANN and just asking developers. Please don't make another shitcoin.
