You didn't mentioned that which type of companies you are talking about. If you are referring to companies that owns altcoins, exchanges and wallets than it is quite hard to find out which company is trustworthy, so we have to go through some research about that company. I mostly check the legal entity of companies and their whitepaper, i also go through the reviews of the people working there or having any link with the company. Promotion is the matter to start any business to push it forward to all set of people which can be reach to all and it should be useful to all set of people. If that kind of product or services has been started then it will be easily promotable to them. Until you use the product or service how you can find the reviews to check it up. Hence, you can grow your business in a better by marketing it first. |

Day trading is not everyone's cup of tea. Its a pain to watch for charts.. switching tabs to check different coin charts. I would recommend Gunbot or other bots.. which does the trading for us, while we do other things.. Gunbot i prefer Gunbot available at https://tradingbotpro.com/
Gunbot is nowadays famous among all the traders who are busy in other works but I noticed mostly day trading guys are more money than bot users. Direct buying could be decrease the fees so i think better go directly to cex.io could be recommended as of now for less fee when buying bitcoin..
There are also other where to buy bitcoins but the fee is in average coinmama could be good as alternative..
Other exchange will be high fee like virwox its really high when buying bitcoin using paypal its not good choice when buying bitcoins..
If you are living in india zebpay would be good option for instant and cheap fee.. for local exchanges.

I believe you can go to settings > Change passphrase... Then enter current passphrase and leave the new passphrase field blank and I believe it will decrypt your wallet file. |

Seems as though they're still ironing out kinks over there. I was able to place trades, but they intermittently took an unreasonably long time(like minutes), though it does seem to be improving. Also I successfully withdrew funds from there without any hassle, so that's good news. |

That was the plan...and the reason I held on to 50m of the 236,797,646 I started with(there were two addresses), but after having to run a maze of closed threads to find this one, reading here, and trying to use these wallets I don't have any confidence.
One exchange with one pairing and that's perpetually down due to poorly coded wallets. This is a hot mess. Is there even a timeframe available for when this mess will be fixed? A week plus of no exchanges? Ridiculous.

I staked ECC until there were zero connections and then I shut it down...that's what "after that" means. Try to read slower and perhaps you can comprehend moar. Whether this was due to a protocol change or whatnot, I do not know and I don't really care. If you think this is a great coin, awesome, more power to you. I do not. I just want a wallet that actually works so I can flush this turd. It's not the exchange's fault, so don't even think about scapegoating coinex for this mess. The dev working on this wallet is plainly over his/her head. These revisions are complete garbage and cannot possibly have been tested for more than a few seconds before being posted and then almost as quickly pulled. The coin control button on the latest version STILL insta-crashes the windows x64 wallet. This is crap workmanship...no excuses needed. The wallet is empty because I...miraculously had a sync with this garbage wallet for a couple hours AND coinex miraculously said their garbage wallet also worked. So I went ahead and sent 1k failcoins as a test...those showed up at coinex(I can find you the txid if you need proof). I then sent 50m failcoins and they NEVER showed up at coinex. I have made that choice a long time ago in 2014... I am holding the coin, a few weeks or months maybe even a few more years... it doesn't matter to me. Now you come talking about a week? Don't make me laugh 😂.....I am not praying on the money or BTC from newbies by trying to steal their money via the trollboxes, my coins they are going to buy because they will buy a fucking good product...and that takes some time...cheers I'm very happy for you, if that's your decision, it's not mine. We both know you didn't have much choice during most of that time anyway. I stacked ECC in April of 2014 and it was orphaned after that. Now I'd like to move them, but despite having 6 different versions of wallets I cannot move my coins for weeks at a time. |

just wanted 2 buy a bag, windows wallet dl link not working, linux dl link not working, slack invite link not working, bootstrap link not working cmon guys, you can do better than that  slack link has expired and has been removed from the OP. bootstrap link is fine. wallets have been removed until electron UI update as people shouldnt be running the older wallets at all anymore due to a sync bug Sweet. So is there a timeline available for a wallet that works? I have a few versions that don't work. |

I think without a lower rate of inflation, Zeitcoin will not stay at 4 sats, but will continue to decline.

Well that seems a shame as I think we do need a cut to new supply to stabilize Zeitcoin's exchange rates. Even if that means a simple interest rate cut to say 1% or .5% and staking parameters remain the same, it should be undertaken imo.
To that end I'd be willing to contribute to a fund to get this accomplished. ULI was voted upon and seemed to be overwhelmingly supported, it's a shame to let it go after some have cited this initiative specifically as a primary incentive for increasing their stack of Zeit.
What say other knights and holders of Zeitcoin on this?
