1081  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As it turns out, Craig Wright actually is Satoshi! on: January 27, 2017, 03:27:48 PM
But that doesn't explain how he fooled Matonis and Gavin.

you may have forgotten about this or selectively not mentioning it. I don't know about Motonix! but about Gavin i have to say but Craig Wright offered many others to come forth and confirm his identity lie and they all refused. Gavin was like his last choice! possibly paid.

anyways, there is a very simple solution to all this and all arguments about it until then is pointless:

1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: YOBIT BECOME THE NEXT CRYPTSY - WARNING - SCAM ALERT on: January 26, 2017, 01:03:22 PM
yobit is not scam
this now volume transaction in yobit is incraese and big
every day volume transaction in yobit over 2000 bitcoin
last 24 hour volume transaction in yobit 2500 bitcoin, only under poloniex, and this now yobit is above bittrex

have you ever used or visited yobit? i doubt that.
next time go check the website out and then lets talk about if the volumes are fake or not. it is so easy to detect that you don't need any experience in detecting fraud.
if you look at the trading history of different altcoins you can clearly see that the history is filled with so many different fake orders of lower the legit volume and if you look at the top you can see the total volume going up 1 bitcoin at a time!!!
1083  Economy / Economics / Re: Investors dumping gold-switching to bitcoin? on: January 26, 2017, 12:52:15 PM
old news
sell 1ounce gold for $1200
buy bitcoin at $900 (1.33btc)
wait for bitcoin to go to $1200.. sell 1.33btcc for gold.(get 1.33 ounces)

so in other words those who did it only did it two times in their whole life?!!! in the past 8 years once in 2013 and once in end of 2016 early 2017
that doesn't make sense Smiley

Quote
this is why bitcoin topped out at $1200 2 times in the last 4 years and then sunk back down

the reason why price went down twice from that price is because first time it went from $100-200 to $1200 in less than a month with MtGox fake pumps
and this time it went from $780 to $1160 in a couple of weeks again needed a correction.
1084  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You only lose if... on: January 26, 2017, 12:39:33 PM
Well, I probably lost when I became impatient. Well, I always sell coins I invest when the price is slightly up or slightly down. I think, that it is a safe way to play, but I think lost, when the coin prices rise very high. there are currently 1 coin that I hold, and I hope the price immediately rose to the height.

actually you are doing the right thing but thinking the wrong one!
what you do is what every experienced trader does. you sell when you reach your profit target. trading is no place for regrets. if you made your profit then take it and be satisfy with it. and if the coin went higher just take the profit and be happy you made a profit instead of losing and think about your profit target next time to be more accurate.
1085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [China's fakeness] Before and after on: January 26, 2017, 12:33:55 PM
- if you trade with yourself just to artificially pump your volume in order to get lower-tier withdrawal fees - then it's certainly fake.

that is one definition for fake Smiley

whether the exchanges were doing it themselves, or was it users, or anything else for the reason, the important thing is that NO MORE the FUDs can use Chinese massive volume to their own advantage and spread lies.

now i wonder what the spam bot of speculation board is going to copy paste from now on Cheesy
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Analysis ETH on: January 26, 2017, 12:26:06 PM
this current state after the dip, where you can see price is very stable seems both scary and good.
scary in a sense that we can't say which way it is going to be more possible for it to go since it is not yet a clear shaped thing.
and also good because it is a stable price with nice volume which may very well be an accumulation phase leading to a pump.
1087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: no talk of ethereum any more? on: January 26, 2017, 12:17:59 PM
That was 1 year ago during the great hype + pump.
Time to move on..

People follow the money (what ever is pumped up etc)

there is no argument there. i have also followed the money by catching up on the pre-hype and buying some pre-pump and make lots of bitcoin in the process of the pump(s).

and now that another big dip happened and i bought some at the bottom, i am not ashamed to admit i am waiting for another possible pump but at the same time i have my eyes out for any other possibility.

and besides one of the main features of these manipulation coins such as ETH is that the owner and the whales are never done with them that easily.
1088  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think we will break the $2000 mark some day? on: January 26, 2017, 12:13:24 PM
It will be like usual with BTC. No one expected that price of Bitcoin will be pumped so hard in 2013.
No one will predict when next pump, which lead us to crossing $2000 barrier, will start either.
It might be this years or we might see is after the next halving in 2020.

your problem is thinking the price rise of bitcoin is always a pump. yeah it was a pump once in 2013 and there were some smaller pumps that i bet you don't even noticed.

but read your above comment. these prices for bitcoin are ridiculously small compared to what great potential bitcoin has.
1089  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't fall for the chinese scammers trying to make you panic sell on: January 25, 2017, 03:39:04 PM
Totally agree. I will never sell my Bitcoin no matter how low the prices are. I never feel panic when I see the prices drop. However, I find that there are not many people are the same as me. Most of them sell their Bitcoin whenever they see the prices lower than they expect. That causes a lot of damage to the Bitcoin prices and the market. Poor those people.
We cannot blame people if they sell their bitcoin whenever the price goes low that is their own strategy in earning. The impractical thing is when you sell all your bitcoin because of panic selling and regret after the day when you saw that bitcoins price becomes higher.
Now that you've talked about panic selling, I think part of the recent sell-off is certainly related to it, because the end of these types of operationss in exchanges that do not use fees is probably something that will bring benefits to Bitcoin in the long run, and people who know Bitcoin very well know that this will not affect the use of it.

What me and a lot of other people has noticed is that chinese regulations cause market crashes, which then get quickly bought up again. The first market crash was the worst one, right now is not as bad anymore, but it's clear that it's still something seen as somewhat negative even tho it's actually good.. the first one was a lot of expected market correction too tho, not only any related news. The priced had to correct, it was climbing too fast in a couple of days.

so maybe you and lot of other people start having this also as a possibility that Chinese regulation or anything else Chinese related has no effect but the news of it affects the price instead. which means traders are taking advantage of the situation to create panic and sell their coins high and buy them back after the end of panic period with a huge profit.
1090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / no talk of ethereum any more? on: January 25, 2017, 03:32:53 PM
not so long ago this board was filled with ethereum topics, to a point that it got annoying. so what happened?
did they stop paying the shills to post for them?

or maybe they are getting ready for a massive pump so they are holding back on making any sound and silently accumulating! the volume is still high!

what do you think?
1091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this one of the so-called spam attacks? on: January 25, 2017, 03:17:50 PM
Can the miners block it?
Cause otherwise finding it is cool but not effective :/
And even if they want, would they?
Is it possible that miners are doing those spams attacks themselves just to rise the price of transactions ?

why would miners want to block these? they don't care and they are benefiting from this double time. first is the fact that these transactions each contain a fee 0.0001469BTC
also when this happens, mempool is filled, regular users who were adding normal fee are waiting for their transactions to confirm for hours so they start competing with each other and increase the fees.
result: miners earn even more from fees.

i think the possibility of this being miners themselves is low. it may be a group of people wanting to force the increase of block size (don't know which proposal they are supporting though!)
1092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this one of the so-called spam attacks? on: January 25, 2017, 03:09:37 PM
yeah i think you found one of the series of the spam attacks origin.
i would have said it is a payment if the time between the transactions were more. but they are all with a couple of seconds difference:
2017-01-22 17:49:11
2017-01-22 17:48:59
2017-01-22 17:48:45
2017-01-22 17:48:08
2017-01-22 17:47:55
...
seems like this wave of spam attacks are with a fixed USD value instead of the old 0.0001BTC transactions.

Good Job finding it.
1093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Crytopcurrency For Privacy on: January 24, 2017, 12:02:36 PM
that is all true and in fact i love monero and always suggest it to anyone who is looking for an anonymous coin. and i completely agree with the article.

but i wanted to add that you have to realize that bitcoin can also be completely anonymous. you buy it with cash, and never let any of your bitcoin address be associated with you. always deal only with bitcoin and never connect a bank to your bitcoin addresses, this way you reach full anonymity.
1094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Compilation List] Dice sites affiliate program. on: January 24, 2017, 11:50:23 AM
i have been thinking a lot about this topic of mine here in this board. i've decided that there is not much point in listing all of the dice sites and all the casinos' affiliate programs. and that will take a long list difficult to sort and go through.

instead i have decided to make it into Top 5 or 3 places that offer the best program and best rates. that is what everyone would like to know anyways.

tell me what you think?
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins are your favorite for daily trade? on: January 24, 2017, 11:43:35 AM
Yea the volatility of the altcoin maybe is the key factor for trading but there are still 3 important questions we can ask for the trade.
1- Which altcoins do you prefer for your daily or short time trade generally?
2- And why do you prefer?
3- Do you have any daily income goal or you trade as much as you can with this altcoins?

for day trading you need a big altcoin which has a large daily trading volume that you can use in your advantage and make profit from short term dips and rises. so in short coins with large volume, doesn't matter what they are.

how ever for short term trading. i consider it to be a bit longer than just a couple of hours in one day. if we are talking about longer (a week for example) then many coins that are on the verge of a pump are good. and they are different each week.
1096  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dead cat bounce, dreams shattered again. on: January 24, 2017, 11:24:52 AM
How many people here waiting 500$ as another chance in Life? How devastating fud or bad news must be for this to happen? We must all agree that floor was 750$, so everything between 750$ and 1050$ is normal now.

I don't think we should all agree to that

Though you personally may think as you please. The floor is evidently at 0, and everyone should remember that, period. But that's not my point. Whenever you start thinking along these lines, i.e. you expect the price to floor at some figure (e.g. at 750 dollars) and top at another figure (e.g. at 1,050 dollars), you inadvertently expose yourself to the risk and danger of being fooled by the market since your chances of being right are basically equal to the chances of a broken clock being right at any arbitrary moment of the day, i.e. purely random, but that would still negatively affect your trading decisions. Obviously, this is a wrong approach since you'll be proven wrong more often than not

well the floor is where you are standing/sitting on.

in economy (or finance) we call a price floor when the price of that commodity can not go lower than that price or even if tried to it becomes very hard because of the big ressistance.

and you don't expect that price, you find that price by looking at the behavior of the market. aka looking at the charts.

and currently for bitcoin i'd say a price between $750 and $820 is a pretty solid assumption for the floor.
1097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Qtum] UTXO based POS Smart Contract Platform|On Coindesk & Bitcoinmagazine on: January 24, 2017, 11:13:13 AM
Any info about the ICO details?

The ICO is going to be held on March 1 and details coming soon (from Qtum slack channel). You should join Qtum slack to keep updated.

There is little preview regarding mobile wallet on slack. Earlz said we will able to control Smart Contracts from a mobile device  Smiley
Good if ICO  starts in March.Very wise of devs to start signature and Twitter campaign two weeks ahead of ICO.This will give them a good start.I guess ICO will run for one whole month. It is when their signature campaign ends.
Its perfect gaining trust from the campaigners and also it is a good exposure for this project im glad that im also part of this campaign and for sure those collected btc that i collected from here will be use as my ico funds i know this project will be a big one after the ico.

yeah, ever since i joined this campaign last week i have been reading more and more about this project and i am starting to find it interesting. at least it is a lot better than anything i have been seeing before.
1098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still use Bitcoin if price would be stable for years? on: January 24, 2017, 11:08:30 AM
the price is never going to stay the same (stable) ever. you can see the price of Gold and other similar investment also the price of other currencies against each other. they are never stable. and bitcoin is no exception.

besides i am not a BTCLovingDude just for the price Smiley
i am in it for the long run, to see the adoption and use it to pay for stuff instead of using cash.
1099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Compilation List] Dice sites affiliate program. on: January 19, 2017, 03:10:09 PM
Maybe try pocketdice. It seems like there is alot of winning going on there. Their house edge was lowered
i will add that too but this topic is about affiliate programs and winning or losing has no effect because the reward is based on amount wagered. also lower house edge means lower reward.

Pocketdice has 1% house edge,
the site FAQ says it is 1.9%

sorry about crypto-games, i do not know where i brought the 10% from! i remember checking it!
1100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Compilation List] Dice sites affiliate program. on: January 19, 2017, 05:14:59 AM
It's a nice list, but too bad you're compilation has only dice sites. casinos offers more % lol. btw add rollin as well. (https://rollin.io/affiliate)

thanks.
i made the list only for Dice sites because they are the game that i play most of the time.
but i guess, since this list can be helpful to others i will start adding other types of games too.

i'll try other sites and update the list in 24 hours.
