1101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Prove that you shouldn't rely on icobench and others on: November 17, 2019, 07:20:15 AM
That's the reason why I do not use them as a legit way to inform myself about a certain project if it is good or bad but instead to inform myself about the list of all the projects out there that might have a potential to make me some profit. Never trust those ICO rating sites, they are bias 100%. Well thanks to them I guess that I'm informed about those on-going projects which then I do my own research.
1102  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pera sa Internet, Tara usap tayo! on: November 17, 2019, 07:07:37 AM
1103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you any new ideas to replace the KYC? on: November 16, 2019, 04:30:31 AM
No. A bounty or a project that is base on a country that ask KYC needs to comply for the project continue. They really don't have any choice to be honest but to ask the investors or bounty hunters for KYC. But those who announce KYC after finishing the bounty are absolute scums and a scam. The only thing for those people who doesn't want KYC is to just avoid it. If you don't want exchanges that ask KYC, then find another one or use DEX.
1104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does technical analysis have any value for Bitcoin? on: November 16, 2019, 04:26:11 AM
Charts do help at some point. It makes you more confident about your investment short term but of course it all depends how you will use your coins. For long term, charts does become more redundant because of how Bitcoin moves and how volatile it is. Charts cannot tell the up coming news, hypes, or any kind of factors that would affect Bitcoin. It does help, but I still wouldn't fully trust those charts, especially those in the internet.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTERNATIVES MEANS IN CRYPTOCURRENCY JOBS APART FROM BOUNTIES. on: November 15, 2019, 02:45:57 AM
If you are a content creator or loves to write articles about something, you might try this one. Most people might not know this but there are social media platforms or sites that pays you cryptocurrency if you contribute to their platform. Might as well check it out of you think you got the skills to do it. Here's what I got from google.

https://techmoneymama.com/websites-that-hire-cryptocurrency-writers/
https://www.smartbitcoininvestments.com/top-5-social-media-sites-that-earn-you-cryptocurrency/

I don't know much about them but might as well check it out.
1106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Informed is Your Country's Police About Crypto? on: November 15, 2019, 02:28:42 AM
Here in my country (in the Philippines), we do have some level of regulation and knowledge about cryptocurrency, in fact, there are news of police raiding some cryptocurrency scammers. Still, the amount of illegal activities here is not decreasing due to the fact that we are still lacking knowledge and equipment to track or raid this type of things. Though we are still positive about adopting cryptocurrency.
1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red trust accounts wearing signature..... on: November 14, 2019, 05:16:31 AM
Presently i detect that few bounties still allow red trust accounts to wear their signatures, i think this means the bounty project is been managed by bad bounty manager or what do you think? for example E3T bounty allows red trust account, is this normal ?

Why not bro lets everyone have the signature and lets everyone promote the projects. We only distinguish the market of crypto promotion in Bitcoin talk but actually everyone can wear the signature doesn't have any problem.
I suggest the bounty managers to accept even the negative trust members when there posting a legit posts with good quality. Let's everyone earn and stay peace.

Actually no, they are red tag for a reason and in my opinion, they don't deserve any privilege that the good users have. Even if they put a signature on their space, people would assume that they cannot be trusted (at least that's what I see it). There's no peace since they are the first one to break it by either scamming or doing something illegal. The manager is risking their campaign by accepting this users.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Vechain price spike by 6.35% in a Bear market on: November 14, 2019, 03:00:05 AM
Guys chill. He is probably trying to promote the coin by saying that it gained 6.35% profit in 24 hours. Although 6.35% is not bad, it's not good either considering how the cryptocurrency market moves and how volatile our market is. Looking at the market history of this coin, I can say it did gain some significant value from the start of this year up to this month.
1109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DigitalDenar - Cryptocurrency Exchange Platform [NO ICO][POW][POS][MN] on: November 13, 2019, 12:33:35 PM
It's interesting that you don't need ICO to launch your own exchange. The site is basically just a bunch of skeletons right now and no content. Would keep an eye on this one if this would succeed in the future. I suggest that you make a discord server because it's easier to organize there than telegram.
1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which is more scary... on: November 13, 2019, 08:06:09 AM
My biggest fear is not having my asset grow bigger by the time Bitcoin pumps. I'm more of a holder myself and I seldom trade altcoins so I want to have my asset grow as much as possible to gain more profit when bull run comes. Coin dumps will not make me scared, in fact it will make me happy.

If you study the history of Bitcoin, you would know that there's a pattern on how Bitcoin grows and by using that, you are able to make an assumption that you will profit from holding Bitcoin for a long time. Although we see some price declining this days, remember that Bitcoin is so down at the beginning of this year and look at the price right now.
1111  Economy / Economics / Re: Stock To Flow Model: Modeling Bitcoin's Value with Scarcity on: November 13, 2019, 03:06:34 AM
This thread itself is so deep. I never knew 2020 (which is next year) would have a great impact on the price flow of Bitcoin for the upcoming years. Merit to you sir. I don't understand some of the things since I'm not a native speaker and my knowledge of economics is not that deep but I do have questions.

I think the past halving was successful due to the fact that Bitcoin is still an infant. There's not much invested in it compared today and it isn't advertised as extensive as today. The last bull run was successful because of many factors like altcoins, ICO, even the scam Bitconnect, airdrops which is so extensive that even people without knowledge about Bitcoin gets to invest in it, and many more.

What if those factors didn't happen this year? does that mean the price of Bitcoin would decline significantly for the upcoming years? Why would more people buy Bitcoin just because it is halving? Well if we did get a Bull run up to 25k, will the model still continue or it's a fail?
1112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is twitter a good source of info? on: November 13, 2019, 01:04:10 AM
If you think that you can compete with the other information sources, then go for it. Remember that other news sources aren't just built in twitter, they also take advantage of other social media platforms like Facebook. They also make there own website in order to gain more exposure to the internet. I'd say you do the same to make your news source successful. If you only use that for shilling, then you won't last long. Copying news articles doesn't do you good.
1114  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Could Make Bitcoin Drop To $5? on: November 10, 2019, 02:45:02 AM
Not possible in my opinion. There's a large demand for Bitcoin and there's no way to people would just abandon it unless something super unexpected happen to the world. Here's a simple summary of why people are using Bitcoin right now:

https://support.coinbase.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1824913-why-would-i-use-bitcoin-why-should-i-use-bitcoin-

If that demands declines to the point of zero, then finding something better and moving on is the only thing that a person could do.
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Releasing an ‘Epstein Didn’t Kill Himself’ Token on: November 09, 2019, 12:36:01 PM
The token itself is a joke, much like he is. I haven't heard much of him since the announcement of his dick eating in television and I'm still waiting for that to happen. I think with this, he is just trying to dig his own grave and if he keeps doing things like this in the crypto space, no one will take him seriously. I know he still has a lot of followers but this shit is getting out of hand.
1116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sometimes its wise to Listen to your heart on: November 08, 2019, 08:15:32 AM
You don't let others control you. It is good to listen to others but you shouldn't do what they told you to do. You draw your own conclusion from what you've gathered from researching and listening to seniors, that is how you make your move. Do your own research and if it contradicts to what they are saying, then do what you think is right. I've learned this the hard way myself

I was holding a good altcoin 2 years ago but my friend said it will moon high so I hold it till the price got dump so hard. It was a pretty stupid move since I could have made a good profit out of it but thanks to that, I was able to learn. We make mistakes but we learn from it.
1117  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Sad news - Coinbase is leaking your information on: November 08, 2019, 07:57:27 AM
This is one of the reason why DEX will be the thing in the near future. I'm sure Coinbase is not the only exchange that do this. I think almost all centralized exchange are doing this too. It's kind of sad but if they benefit or profit from doing this, then it will not stop at all. The only way for people to avoid this is to use decentralized exchanges.
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] GOLD Stablecoin – $200,000 - payouts in BTC, ETH, GOLD on: November 07, 2019, 08:03:38 AM
Hello GOLD_official,

I'm getting a little bit worried about my participation in signature campaign. I've made a Authentication Post on October 31 and made already about 15 posts, but still haven't received a message from you, nor I'm in the spreadsheet  Embarrassed

Does it means that I'm not it? That is sad...

You are not obliged to wear the signature and avatar if you are not accepted yet. You are only to wear it after being accepted as the rule implies. If a week had passed, it might mean that you are not going to be accepted in the signature campaign. Well you can still join the twitter and contents campaign if you have the skill to do it. Good luck.
1119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CMC and coingecko on: November 07, 2019, 04:03:47 AM
I find Coingecko more accurate and useful than CMC. This is just my personally view but whenever I check the price of something, Coingecko is more accurate to exchange pricing. Also, Coingecko has a price checker/calculator where you can check the price of your asset in different kinds of currencies depending on how much you put. It's so convenient in my opinion. Not only that, Coingecko list tokens/coins far easier than CMC so I think that's the main reason why devs prefer listing to Coingecko first.
1120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Will not Ban Bitcoin Mining! on: November 07, 2019, 03:24:30 AM
I knew it. They wouldn't just leave this opportunity. China will do everything it can to prosper and Bitcoin is one of the best opportunity to grab. Those news about China banning Bitcoin is I think is just for show to manipulate the price as China still holds a large portion of Bitcoin in the world. In the near future, we might hear some news about them regulating crypto space properly, I don't know if that will be good or not.
