You should run for political office peacefulmind. You would fit in perfectly with all the other clowns who can't see viable and novel solutions to problems when they're sitting right in front of you.
Actually I was able to see BTC and LTC as viable solutions with no problems. They have grown in value and stability for many years now. They are coins for EVERY nation and country. The Lakota would be smart to buy some. In one post you mention 97% of these people live well below the poverty line then in another post you mention they should go out and buy some Bitcoin. Thanks for the laughs, I really appreciate it.

This guy has a point. I understand the hype around aurora and now maza. but how will the dev distribute the coins to a bunch of people that hasnt any technology and how will they understand it? How can it work as a currency there? I dont see it(yet). I own some maza as well cause like aurora possible large adoption is going to skyrocket the price but i find it hard to believe that this coin will be used by a tribe that is many years behind 'normal 'civilisation
Mazacoin is in PARTNERSHIP with the government of the Lakota people. They are not just granting the Lakota people Mazacoin, but non-profits that support them as well. And these people don't live in grass huts. They're normal people like you and me, they just live well below the poverty line. As Mazacoin increases in value, infrastructure and education can be provided by their governing body and the non profits so they can make good use of it.

Just another scam, move along.
A good rule - never buy a coin with ANY pre-mine. These poor people on the reservation do not have internet or computers - yet they are going to become the Native American silicon valley?
good luck.
Thanks for the warning. I wish I would have listened to you with Auroracoin so I could have avoided my enormous and growing profits and hopefully helping the people of Iceland. Yes, many Lakota live in poverty. If only they and the non-profits that support them had some new way to get money so they could have greater access to the technology the rest of us enjoy. I wish SOMEONE would come up with a novel solution.

Ok, I think most of the weak hands are now out and we've found a little bit of equilibrium. Now let's see how rich we can make the Lakota people

btc finally arrives on cryptorush, click the buy button on maza (3x cheaper than mint)... site crashes
I know I could arbitrage or even buy it cheap at Cryptorush, but that site is so bad I just don't trust them with my BTC. It's not worth it for me.

Managed to buy 30000 at around .00001300 about ten hours ago. Then another 30000 at around .00002000. Any ideas exactly how high this thing can go once it gets on a more reputable exchange?
From a moral standpoint, I like this coin MORE than Auroracoin. Many of the Lakota people are poverty stricken and need help. This coin may truly turn things around for their people. From a dispersion standpoint, I like this coin MORE than Auroracoin because it is BACKED by the Lakota Nation's sovereign government who will see that it not only gets to its' people in what I am sure will be a fair manner, but to non profit organizations dedicated to helping the Lakota people. How high will it go? I have no idea. I would love to see it hit $xxx, xxx, xxx market cap at some point as that would truly help turn things around for the Lakota people and bring an immense amount of media attention to cryptocurrencies in general.

What's the population of Lakota Nation? How do they expect to get this coin into circulation? Aren't most natives poverty stricken, addiction bound, and uneducated?
What am I missing here?
That's why I love this coin so much. Maybe even more than Auroracoin. That many people on reservations are poverty stricken and face other struggles means this coin, if successful, can make a HUGE difference. If you read the dispersion plan, they don't plan just to give this coin to the Lakota people but to non-profits that serve them as well. This coin, when it becomes valuable like Auroracoin can completely change the fate of a sovereign people. THAT is something I can get behind and excites me to no end.

If/when this coin goes up a ton, I feel we should create a means to donate to the Lakota people. They only premined 50 million coins which is way too little in my opinion. I'd like to see them do MUCH better.
That's why I am trying to convince them that they should cut the mining only up to 125 million coins and then go down to 50 coins per block. That way they get around 40% of all coins. I think the original developer was a complete idiot in designing the subsidy. Are you in contact with them? I think the numbers you put forth would be a bit too drastic as that would result in an instamine for the early adopters. But I would like something worked out where the Lakota get much more.

The most fundamental thing we need is a url that shows current number of coins out there (not just the updating image at the block explorer) so we can get on coinmarketcap.com.

Will some people please review the code and make sure the upcoming hard fork to KGW and the other adjustments were done correctly?
This coin is too valuable at this point to not make double, triple, and quadruple sure before going live with any changes.
+1 +1 Same applies to Android client Just another reminder to those with the skills to please look over things.

If some Icelandic politicians were not coming out against Auroracoin, I would be worried. The more such comments are made, the more likely the common man in Iceland will be to not only hear about Auroracoin, but to accept it.
I like that it has become big enough to make them nervous.
Very exciting!
