Pool ops still don't have source

Started getting past 521kh with my 7950's, then ran into HW errors. Not bad though!

So many dumb people. they are actually SELLING GPU's 100$CHEAPER than fucking newegg.... ? AND IPO.. If you dont think thats a fucking scam then youre retarded.
Newegg uses ebay pricing for its stuff dude, c'mon. Amazon is at least not far off of wholesale/distributor pricing. GPU Coin is legit.

yeah recompile with sdk, running without temp control is playing with fire
It does have SDK, it disappeared after a minute or 2. Not too worried with temps right now unless the card can exceed 400TDP of heat exchange. My wires would melt beforehand. I'm up past 465kh right now. My GPU laser thermometer has proved me right. GPU surface temp is 53*C, VRM's 43*C, MEM 41*C. Plenty of cooling on my systems.

MSI 7950's, first try. Going to see what settings get some real speed. vertminer on BAMT 1.3/custom

seems kinda janky.. cant unzip wallet without error file could not be created...
It's password protected with 7-Zip You can't have access until I post the password, which will happen at 17:00 EST I read that pool ops will get the source a little early to prepare the pools? Where can we contact you about this? I've emailed and PM'd him and asked here.. no response yet

Im usually a lurker but I just made an account to warn you, vertminer does fuck up your GPU. I thought it was FUD but I tried mining panda as a test run for gpucoin launch, and now my main graphics card lost 30% of hashing power. fucking bs
EDIT: just to get this clear, my card lost 30% power ON SCRYPT, NOT ON SCRYPT-N. I know scrypt-n has lower hash rates. I tried mining panda and went back to a normal scrypt coin and now my card is weaker. thanks vertminer.
Has it been established what causes the damage? Temps seem pretty fine on ScryptN, with the card underclocked (920 on core, instead of 1040). It's harsh on the memory chips from what I recall. Aftermarket cooling is best, a lot of OEM systems have shared coolers with GPU or no cooling at all.

GPU Coin, will pools get source 20m prior to launch as discussed?
Notably absent. I doubt anything is wrong, you think he'd be here though.
You think he'd be busy preparing for launch You'd think he'd have everything sorted out, and would simply be here helping people out. Overplan, execute, and enjoy. anyone have good mining settings for a sapphire 280X vapor x oc ? can't get more than 290 on Vertminer 0.5.2 --lookup-gap 2 --shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 8193 -g 2 -I 13 -w 256 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-engine 1035 --auto-fan --gpu-fan 30-85 --temp-cutoff 88 --temp-overheat 83 --temp-target 65 i'm having even less with 0.5.3 240-ish ScryptN drops your hashrate by 30-50%, if that gives you any indication for where you should be at now,

I mean, it's /possible/ someone cracked the password and are premining.

GPU Coin, will pools get source 20Min before launch as stated?

I'm surprised people aren't using their multi-megahash farms to crack the password and premine.. lol
They are...

PASSWORD PROTECTED 7zip files of the windows QT and the source are posted in the OP.
I have 3 different locations for each in case something happens to one.
At 17:00 EST I will post the password so all can enjoy.
Are you still releasing source to the pool's 20m before launch? I'm surprised people aren't using their multi-megahash farms to crack the password and premine.. lol

So with ScryptN dropping your average hashrate by 50%, how will that affect coin output? Will it affect how the coin works, since he based his original numbers on scrypt? some of the early adopters are starting to ask this.
As I warned the dev, some people are just now starting to re-read the thread and finding out, last minute, that the algo has changed.

Here's a screenshot I just took of my 2x Asus 280x TOP cards (same as your 7950's), undervolted and underclocked. This is their 24x7 rate (however they're in my main PC so not quite as well cooled), not just a momentary snapshot as you can see. I spent a LOT of time tweaking the max out of these. I also run a modified SCRIPT.cl & modified .bat files for increased performance. These cards are pretty good, but they don't hold a candle to my 2nd rig that powers 3x Sapphire TRI-OC 290's @ a steady 2700KH/s (890-906KH/s each!) With my other 2 rigs included I run 5MH/s but man some guys running warehouses of 200+MH/s make my systems look like child's play! lol. Can't wait to buy more with the IPO funds I purchased! Eganwp Yeah the 280x's are 7970's, they're not 7950's. Good hashrate for undervolted. Mine run 24/7 too, not sure why you said 'momentary snapshot'.

If the premine is scrypt and the launch is scrypt-n will this create an issue for the premined coins?
I don't believe so, a chain is a chain; could be wrong. Great question. And for everyone who voted for N, considering ScryptN will cut most hashpower in half, better hope it was worth it lol.

Please take your promotion and go elsewhere. Promoting your own coin in someone else's launch window? Are you serious?

wf3 revision 1 24000 @ -i 20 = 660 avg
PM "ny2cafuse" and tell him I sent you, he's done well with WF3 cards. He might have some good settings to help. If you want to try BAMT with my settings and scrypt kernel, I can PM you details. This will keep the thread clean.

I'm running under linux (hence BAMT), system ram is irrelevant at that point. I use 2gb ram as I stated in my original post. You'll always get better stability and hash under linux. Windows makes it easier to run, but you do better with linux. I get 0 errors, and 1% or less reject. Hashrate varies less than 0.001%
