yeah left to fungus and dust . when trying to mine again the gpus will die some of them. mostly solder joiner became brittle, or humidity to high makes gpus shorted in some component
sometimes it can be fixed by rehot using steam solder. sometimes just die  , as long gpu turn on. there is no problem.
till this day no profitable coin to mine again and green energy movement makes someone doesnt to use pow again

I only buy used GPU´s in the last 7 Years and non of this is gone. Buy China GPU´s is smart at the moment. RTX3060 12GB under $120 or 70HX for $123 or AMD BC-160 for $70. Keep your costs down and you are faster back in green. And i am sure the GPU prices will go up. RTX4000 production stopped, bullmarket is coming (mid - end 2024 - mid 2025), so mining profitability go up and you can sell your old used cards from china for more  

We bought many GPU´s from china the sellers are super friendly, helpfull, i get videos from tests before they sell it to me. Some GPU´s come with brand new coolers, thermalpaste and thermalpads and the whole card looks new. So why not using it?

I agree with you dear friend. I have 3 chinese psu 1600w cost me 40-50$ each used. I loaded them 900w and they are working since 2017. They are not bad but i saw there is rubbish chinese psu too.1st of all when you get pay into your hands it must be heavy. Only this reason i bought these cinese psus they are heavy.it is best way i guess to understand if psu is good quality if you dont have nothing to measure.

I'm considering a small new setup, however the location is noise sensitive, therefore I am considering the use of immersion. Can anybody recommend any off-the-shelf packages and or reputable suppliers?

Intel tried to compete against Samsung and TSMC, that was a challenge on a different level, the new K10PRO miner probably uses the same chips used by Bitmain but with a modified design, it's not so difficult to do that, you just add more chips, lower the clock and you get more hashrate with lower power consumption, the real challenge here would be the price point.

Bitmain, MicroBT, and all these guys can design and make a miner that does a lot more hashrate than the K10PRO with the same or even lower power consumption, but they always want to balance these four aspects

1- Cost
2- Power
3- Hashrate
4- Quality

Apparently, the ratio is different for every company and every individual miner, we know the power and hashrate of  K10PRO we just don't know the cost and quality, for all we know, it could be a lot more expensive than the other models in the market and thus makes no sense to buy it, more info will be revealed as time goes by, as miners this competition is good for us to a certain degree.

It may be a competition but no one is anyone's enemy. If you have a good understanding of mining and share that knowledge with others, I don't think it will hurt you. Since no one is harmed by discussing mining here, I think everyone will express their own opinion about mining here. OP didn't want to learn about mining here he just wanted to get some idea about mining from experienced members, in view of getting his idea many members have already shared their knowledge about mining with him. 

OP is new to mining and is interested in mining that's why he expressed his interest to know how to start mining. Many people have shared different opinions about starting mining, hope the OP has at least learned a bit about starting mining.

It's not fake, it's real (I confirmed it from various trusted sources I know) it uses a 5.4kw PSU it's based on a high-density design using 1,092 chips inside this little miner, all running at low frequency to achieve these amazing results you see in the video, of course, this will have a huge impact on the cost, but ya, this is one pretty little piece.

Oh, and it's Chinese-made as well, and these guys are to something in terms of the design and software, it runs on 200-277v with a promised ambient temp of as high as 50c, I highly doubt small users will get their hands on these things, probably the big boys will buy them all, but let's wait and see.

With solar energy efficiency going up and hardware costs dropping dramatically over time thanks to Moore's law, I could see solar energy playing a more prominent role in fueling mining operations without having to resort to eating up the energy grid which could not only go out at any time but also is not clean and renewable either.

Yes, just make sure that you are ordering from Bitmain. 

Just look at which countries have fully legalized cryptocurrency. As of today, cryptocurrency is fully legalized in 15 countries. These are Belarus, Canada, Germany, Canada, El Salvador, Germany, Italy, Malta, Norway, Spain, El Salvador, USA, Ukraine, Philippines, Spain, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Estonia, Japan. And if cryptocurrency is fully legalized, it means that cryptocurrency mining is also allowed. Please, pay taxes and do mining for health I think so.
