Most of the time, scam yan.
1142  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [NEWS] Bakkt sets new all-time high in trading volume as Bitcoin price soars on: October 26, 2019, 02:07:31 AM

1143  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptos Are Exploding Higher, Bitcoin Up Over $1,000 In Minutes on: October 26, 2019, 01:59:45 AM
I can't believe it, what is happening. There must be something fishing about this because sudden boost in Bitcoin's price is not a good thing. Look at this, we already cross $10,000 is just 10 hours!. I was shocked when I woke up and saw the notifications in my phone exploding. Maybe some whale is trying to play in the market, we might see a correction soon.
1144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: October 25, 2019, 03:42:45 AM
You see, centralized exchanges are easier to use, is famous and is regulated to be clean so beginners tend to use it first. Most exchanges don't ask for KYC so you create an account and you can trade. If DEX were to have an easier access too then it would be so convenient to use it. Don't be mistaken, DEX has a lot of potential, they just need more time and attention to at least be on par with centralized exchanges.
1145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we really have fast transactions like the XRP? on: October 25, 2019, 03:14:51 AM
We all have this problem, A lot of people are crying for the past years about Bitcoin's transaction speed and we still don't have an absolute answer. We just have to deal with this and settle if we want anonymity and privacy. You could just wait for LN to improve so that you could do large transactions. If you really can't deal with Bitcoin's transaction fees, then use altcoin then change to Bitcoin again. That's what I do.
1146  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: How to get merit? on: October 24, 2019, 02:26:22 AM
Number 1 tip ko sayo, maging friendly ka as much as possible.
1147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Reasons McAfee’s $2 Million Bitcoin Prediction May Not Be So Crazy on: October 24, 2019, 02:00:32 AM
Never in your life time you will see that $1,000,000. We haven't even recovered from our all-time high and you still expect to reach $1,000,000 just because of those. The most realistic scenario that I could see is $10,000 or $15,000. That will be a good recovery price from the all-time high and not $1,000,000. Let's be real here, he just wants a reason to eat his dick in a national television.
1148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No other currency on: October 23, 2019, 03:11:55 AM
Let's admit it, altcoins did have an impact to Bitcoin. With the rise of altcoins, the existence of Bitcoin become more and more popularize because of how altcoins were advertised. Let's just take bounty campaigns as an example. With the rise of altcoins and a bunch of projects, people are incentivize to promote their project, which in turn make people aware of cryptocurrency and what is the first thing that people need to learn in cryptocurrency? That's right, Bitcoin.

Remember, people need to buy Bitcoin first before they could invest into altcoins.
1149  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Sino dito ang naka experience ng last bull run (2017) on: October 23, 2019, 01:20:44 AM

1150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you lend in cryptocurrency? on: October 22, 2019, 02:47:55 PM
Bitcoin's probably the easiest to lend right now. It is the most known cryptocurrency out there and learning how to use it is easy. But of course, I'd only lend to person that I know personally. You really can't trust the cryptocurrency space because of its anonymity and everyone can just create or buy an account and try to borrow money from you. It's the internet so no chance for me to lend it to the community, even if they are trusted by many.
1151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You own a decent amount of Bitcoin, How would you increase it on: October 22, 2019, 04:56:30 AM
Buy low, sell high. I mean that's the best way that you could do to increase your portfolio or at least your Bitcoin. I also heard an asian exchange that gives you profit annually or monthly just by holding their coins, I don't really remember the name.

If you want to work then try doing bounty campaigns or signature campaigns, you might get lucky or something. At least that's what I partially do, just exchange the reward into Bitcoin.

Or just like DannyHamilton said, just buy Bitcoin using fiat so you won't have to waste time.

1152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC, why do some people just get it, others really don't? on: October 21, 2019, 04:34:50 AM
There's a lot of factors to take not just that. Because people differs financially and in overall social status. Also I noticed that they will only take interest if they found that they could benefit from it.

Let me give an example. I introduced cryptocurrency and Bitcoin to a lot of students and explain to them how it works (I didn't tell them that you could make money out of it). They did listened but most of them just doesn't want it as they don't have time for that and it's complex they said. Now, I did another group but change how I introduce it to them, I explained it just like how I did to the first group but added that they could make money out of it. A lot got interested.

There's also a risk to keep in mind. So yung expenses nila satingin ko is hindi lang ganyan kaliit.
1154  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Kelan dapat magtrade at hindi magtrade? on: October 20, 2019, 09:43:11 AM

1155  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Kelan dapat magtrade at hindi magtrade? on: October 20, 2019, 09:29:44 AM

Sell when the media is hyping, Buy when the media is spreading FUD.

1156  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Investing on cryptocurrency is too hard for others on: October 18, 2019, 03:37:24 AM
I think ang number one reason kung bakit talaga tayo hindi makapag invest sa cryptocurrency o maski sa stocks is because of lack of funds and the risk.

1157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have a $ 500 fund you want to make a profit on: October 18, 2019, 02:26:38 AM
So let me get this straight, you don't have any experience with trading or investing in other platforms or stocks? As in a total newbie? Then I'd say I don't recommend you do a daily trading as it is quite different from stocks. Cryptocurrency is more volatile but rewarding. I suggest that you invest in Bitcoin for a start and work your way up to the top 100 altcoins. Learn and read about cryptocurrency and its past. Read market history and it will give you an idea on how the market moves.
1158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright as "Bitcoin creator" at a conference in London!!! WTF??? on: October 17, 2019, 03:14:16 AM
This guy again. It's the first time I'm hearing this guy again this month, I thought he stop. Maybe he already invested so much in his agenda which he is afraid to backdown now. This thought just crossed my mind that what if when he told everyone that he's a fraud (which most of the community thinks anyway), he'll be written as one of the biggest lier in the whole cryptocurrency history. No one will believe him and no one will ever trust him again.
