Try changing the site design slightly... Your home page is really unappealing , it has only text and links , no images or logos. Maybe show us some awesome bitcoin memorabilia on the home page? Secondly, I think Bitcoin memorabilia will be more interesting than UTC memorabilia and it would garner more attention. Add more of them please Don't take my post as too critical , you are off to a good start , you should try broadening options for Bitcoin and making the website look less dull.

I can't really think of a scenario where it would be profitable for a larger site to cross-advertise with a smaller site.
The larger site, having thousands of ad clicks would exponentially increase views on the smaller site. The smaller site, with much fewer players would not make a dent in the amount wagered on the bigger site.
Most players on the smaller site would like it for its niche aspect and have already heard about the larger site. They would not be interested in the larger site much as they've already tried it. Many players on the larger site would not have heard of the smaller site and may try it , some becoming regulars.
This would be advantageous only if both the sites are around the same size. Then they could provide a mutual benefit instead of the smaller site leeching off the larger site.
So , the theory that greedy sites would like this is not pretty much right as most of the large sites would not benefit much from your site.

satoshi Founder Sr. Member
You could actually talk to Satoshi; is he still active in the community but doesn't want to say he is satoshi not to influence it too much, did he disappear? Or was he a group of persons? I bet for the first choice.
He hasn't posted in 3.5 years. It is most likely that he has another account that he uses to check on his 'child' , but I'd not bet on him still using his account.

There are many many escrows on this forum. Most are trustworthy , here are some that I quickly listed by going to the home and searching "escrow service" in the top left search bar. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=105282.0Gweedo has 0.5% fee , is well reputed. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=133985.0Maidak has 0% fee and is also a great escrow , but may charge based on how difficult the transfer is. All in all , you can find tonnes of escrows really easily and for amounts under 10BTC , you can trust most escrows easily.

I kinda like the idea of getting some free coins for posting.
I don't like the idea of promoting gambling sites or mining gear/contracts. Is there anything else that pays?
Gambling and mining contracts are among the few kinds of websites that can afford to get signature campaigns. My suggestion is to try out all the gambling sites and find one which you personally use and believe in , then you can make your signature campaign well. And last but not least , remember that you are selling your space for money and should not expect too much.

Each review pays around 4-5 cents , not really worth it currently.
10,000 satoshis sounds like a lot , but it is 0.0001 BTC.
You should increase the price as it is much much lesser than even cheapest signature campaigns.

If you want to be taken seriously , offer collateral to an escrow before taking control of the account , allowing the user to be compensated if you steal his account.
You should mention and tackle what possibilities that are there that you could steal stuff from the account , like trading of items , deletion of items or any detriment you can cause.
Do the games have a proper password recovery system if you steal it ? Can you change the password reset questions ? Can you transfer items in any way?
Also , you should tackle what exactly will you provide. How fast can you grind and how long will you take for each package ?

This is a pretty obvious ploy.
Both the people who are talking about this thread have posts solely on this thread.
The first guy has 3 posts and all are on this thread and the second guy advertising it also has only one post.
Obviously this is alt , and it is near definite that it is also a scam.

Signature campaigns come to mind. As a full member you can get 0.04 to 0.05 BTC per month if you can post 50 posts or 0.0007 per post if you can post more posts in a month( gives 0.049 BTC at 70 posts , 0.07 at 100 posts and 0.14 at 200 posts ) The former can be found here and here The latter can be found here

Yeah, I think I'm out. The problem is I didn't even think about brute force tools. Last puzzle I spent hours and hours on, and I think I screwed myself because when I couldn't get the last clues (and it was not too easy. If only $50 is up for grabs, 5 hours is max one could spend on it) I came here as you see and made the huge mistake of posting this: SETL54M6YT5Q7MUVL?DQ??LT3G3B9 It wasn't long after that the money was taken and not a word about it. Why? Easy... the person that took the btc did no work other than put my hard work into a brute force tool and take what I had worked on away from me. So, if I ever do decide to take a look, I won't post here and honestly, it just frustrates me that a brute force tool can be used. Maybe you could have people submit the password in a comment and allow each person 5 guesses or something. I'm not wasting another 5 hours so some ass clown who can write a script can just let his computer solve it for them
I get your frustration. However, a brute force tool is only going to buy you a few characters. Plus the prize isn't the only reason. This is supposed to be fun... A bruce force tool isn't bad... It is just the equivalent of your lifelines in Who wants to be a millionaire. Answer 24 , get 6 answered for you Exactly. However, you've got to be pretty sure the answers you've got are right, otherwise you're wasting time brute forcing the wrong key! I don't know how much time it would take to guess each one, though I'd think that ~6 characters was worthwhile. I don't know whether hashing is the right analogy or not. You've got to convert the key to the address, which I think is a more complex function than a hash (someone correct me here?), then check it against the known address. Regardless, other episodes won't be so amenable to brute forcing. Well , my analogy is done to the speed taken to generate a vanity address. This generates using random private keys , and can create 10 million addresses per second ( atleast on average ). The program maintains this speed , while also checking if the key corresponds to the specified vanity address. The same program will need to be applied but instead of specifying the first few digits , you would need to specify the entire address and part of the hash. I calculated 6 characters would take 1.5 minutes , so even if an answer was wrong , you are set back only one minute. By the way , these timings mentioned are those needed to uncover all possible private keys with a certain number of characters missing. It should take on average half as long.

My address is correct in the list and I have completed 58 posts since I joined. I will get Sr. Member position sometime on April 29th , what would be my payment for the next period ?
Thanks, Jambola2
EDIT :- 8:26:40 AM GMT on April 29th precisely.
For the next period, meaning April? Of course you will be paid as Sr. You said you are paying tomorrow , April 25th and I assume the next one month period starts then. I will become Sr. Member on April 29th. For 4 days of the advertising period , I will be a full member and not a Sr. Member. I was asking whether I could be paid as a Sr. Member.

What is the minimum chars to be exposed for it to be able to be bruteforced ?
32 possible alphanumeric characters and 30 digits in total are there in a private key as far as I know.
My PC can try generating vanity addresses at 10 million keys per second , but there are GPUs upto 25 million , so let me take 10 million as an average.
Assuming you give up all but 5 characters , it will need you to generate (32)^5 , which is 30 million keys. This will take 3 seconds.
Assuming you give up all but 8 characters , it will need you to generate (32)^8, which will take 30 hours.
Assuming you give up all but 12 characters , it will need you to generate (32)^12 keys , which will take 3600 years.
Once you are at around 7 digits it takes under an hour to brute force and it will take around a minute at 6 digits left
At this point only the hardest nuts will be left and it makes more sense to use a program.
TLDR ; Don't give out your answer so far if you have found 22 or more. If you can make a program , try using it at 6 digits left.
