1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What 2.0 Currency will be the most successful? on: October 05, 2015, 03:36:09 PM

Where I can buy eMunie?  Smiley

Yes, BitShares test network has a problems but as I know it's not connected to the peaks of transactions, it's more connected to transactions itselfs, if you interesting about what happened, you can check here: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,18717.0.html

If not, just read BitShares thread here and you will be updated about all fails and successes of BitShares  Smiley

You can't buy eMunie yet, they haven't released it and it's still in beta... If everything goes as planned and what transaction times they are boasting are actually true that has some privacy to it, then it will be the most revolutionary new crypto out there besides Monero IMO.
1142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 05, 2015, 02:54:22 PM
DASH : 970 K  , MONERO : 165 K.  it s because of smoothie and icebreaker. Dash raises again but Monero crashes. I m not a fudder. I love monero but smoothie and icebreaker are just embarrassment for your community. They just fud DASH or Evan (maybe jealous of him) Instead of help monero. They are dangerous for your community. I hope monero rises again but it's much difficult with legendary trolls. Smoothie and icebreaker please use your energy for monero. You cannot win this war because we are so strong. And special thanks for smooth...

This thread is getting annoying to read, primarily because of you.  You've pretty much turned this into a shit talking thread, and not about Monero it's self, and it's getting pretty annoying... Everytime I check this thread when it says someone else has posted here, I just hope the topic has changed and we can get into the latest with XMR...

But nope, it's just you guys spouting off childish "trolling" stuff just "for the lulz"... Can we get back on topic please?
1143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will be the first country who will accept bitcoin ? on: October 05, 2015, 01:58:21 PM
Voted: USA

Looks like I'm the first one here who thinks that USA will be the first country who will accept bitcoin. ) Well, I'm aware of all the negative sides of the USA, but I strongly believe that this country will be the first in acceptin BTC, like it was the first in acceptance of many progressive things in the past.

Dude, do you really believe that the government; who is essentially the puppets for the Fed are going to allow a mass adoption of bitcoin in the US ok?  After all the past wars to keep the petro dollar fully functioning? Absolutely not, USA will be the ones kicking and screaming on the way towards mass adoption for any reputable crypto currency... We out of all the countries are the most patriotic when it comes to our national currency.
1144  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: H/R time for Molotov Giveaways! on: October 05, 2015, 03:41:15 AM
Hey awesome giveaway man, thanks for holding them. I think it's a good way to not get the first people who respond the prizes... I definitely did enjoy the trivia aspect, and the fact that you had to read the directions thoroughly before you post. Will be looking forward to more games from you in the future.
1145  Other / Meta / Re: Activity Glitch. DO NOT TRUST ANY USERS BASED ON THEIR RANK! on: October 05, 2015, 03:33:31 AM
Haha well I'm glad to see a majority of people are in the same boat... When I first saw my activity I thought it was just mine. Hopefully everything will go back to the same way as before.
1146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will be the first country who will accept bitcoin ? on: October 05, 2015, 01:29:42 AM
makes perfect sense, probably the easiest resort to ease their debt crisis, problem is the public's awareness of BTC and their concern of financial safety too

Yeah I guess you have a point there... Bitcoins volatile market price really is killing Bitcoin in general. If it stays around this $230-$240 price range for more than 6 - 8 months or so we might see an increase in adoption due to a new found secured price in it... But I doubt that will happen anytime soon since there are so many issues Bitcoin has to solve.
1147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet saids: “Stay Away From Bitcoin” on: October 05, 2015, 01:27:04 AM
Warren is just a person afterall, he does not know everything. Bitcoin can indeed be replaced by another cryptographic currency but who knows.

There is that possibility... But I think Bitcoin will always remain relevant and maybe even used in a "gold standard" type of way...

When other cryptos offers more promising/beneficial features.. It may surpass Bitcoin in purchasing power a little bit, but each crypto will always be compared to the purchasing power Bitcoin holds... Especially after the fiat system has been replaced and we will no longer compare bitcoins purchasing power in terms of dollars.
1148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will be the first country who will accept bitcoin ? on: October 05, 2015, 01:12:08 AM
Wouldn't it technically make sense for Greece to start accepting and using Bitcoin since the whole economy over there is just, well, turned to shit? If I were over there personally I would have ever since the banks started to go down.
1149  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Molotov Give Away! 1.4 on: October 05, 2015, 12:18:04 AM
Yup, just got mine as well.. Cool idea to make it sort of trivial. Thanks again.

1151  Economy / Economics / Re: A country would have to be a damn fool to start a national cryptocurrency. on: October 04, 2015, 11:20:51 PM
I don't think that it is a foolish move of a country to use their own cryptocurrency instead of bitcoin. Governments need to be able to control the supply of the cryptocurrency in order the economy to function, with bitcoin you can't control it's supply since it is decentralized.

Governments shouldn't have any say so with how much currency they will produce at all... if the fiat notes were still used under the gold standered, I would have no problem with using fiat because it represents a finite thing that represents value... Printing more notes without representation of anything of value behind it, other than the "trust" the American people have behind it, just creates inflation and interest increases which essentially makes all of us in the U.S. Slaves to the Feds dollar.
1152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the biggest innovation of bitcoin is ... on: October 04, 2015, 10:07:42 PM
please continue the sentence.

mine:

continuous quotation.
I think the greatest iinnovation of btc is anonymity.A sender and receiver can not trace each other unless they are blockchain tech experts

It's definitely not anonymous in the sense that anyone can follow transactions on blockchain.info ... You don't really have to be an expert at all. It's correct that you say that it's pseudononymous
1153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 04, 2015, 08:40:51 PM
I'm pissed I didn't have any BTC avail when the dump hit. Sad still waiting on fucking coinbase slow train to hell.

I haven't used them but I hear Circle is very fast once it's set up.

Given the current volume we could be going down soon as long as there isn't any concrete news.

What exactly do you mean by what's bold above? What news are you talking about?
1154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 04, 2015, 07:03:59 PM

wooow there are 3 sherlock holmes here(but they don't have a proof). @americanpegasus, @onemorexmr and @opennux... congratulations  guys but you are all wrong Grin But it s ok for me coz I 've already knew that monero community don't have a brain hohoh Cheesy If i were you guys i would do something to save Monero fall instead of Trolling.

If I were you I would try to comprehend that one persons actions do not represent that of an entire community. I'm not trolling.

Yeah you are right. but XMR community have many trolls (icebreaker, smoothie etc.) . icebreaker and smoothie are embarrassment to the community. They dont help the XMR, they just fud other coins.
I don't mind any crypto currency besides Bitcoin. I am just a day trader. You have to put a collor on your legendary dogs.

With DASH crashing and burning the DASH trolls are really coming out of the woodwork.

woah I just seeing this now, DASH is crashing bad thats why so many attacks on Monero, smooth and AEON.

are you blind? cant you see DASH and MONERO crashing together. Do you know why? No you dont know why. Coz you don't have brain to think. I dont mind monero or dash or aeon or another shitcoin. But we have to f.ck @icebreaker, @adamwhite and @smoothie because they manipulate our minds.

What the hell are you babbling about? Smooth has been actually developing, improving, and helping out the monero community? What have you done besides spouting out  "lul, you dumb, you has shit coin" etc. etc.
1155  Economy / Economics / Re: A country would have to be a damn fool to start a national cryptocurrency. on: October 04, 2015, 06:09:18 PM
OP you are wrong about this possible national cryptocurrency being open (decentralized). Whoever tries to make their own cryptocurrency, banks, governments, states, they will make it completely closed and centralized.

By being centralized, attacks as you suggested will be limited and quite impossible. Also nothing easier than today's attacks on Pentagon for example.

As I stated, when they do so then they don't have a cryptocurrency: they have a shared spreadsheet.  It will be useless and valueless on the open market.

It's like the difference between a company's intranet and the open internet.

Some people would argue that today's dollars are pretty much useless as well, with all the printing and with more than $18 trillions of the American debt and also without anything backing it up (gold standard was dropped long time ago).

Yet again American dollars still have and hold their value. Something tells me that this centralized crypto money would behave in the same way.

American dollars still hold their value, because we force other countries to accept it... Look at what the US has done in the middle east for the last 50 or so years... We have slowly made it our business for oil, rather than making it their business. We have forced the Petro dollar as well as many other things... More and more people are starting to wake up to these issues, and government is trying their damnest to hide everything and keep the majority of the people focused on some sort of Media drama and other things...

I have a feeling the next 10-20 years are going to be an exciting/dangerous time in our lives... people are going to try and move away from the centralized private banks, and they are going to do everything to keep those people from doing that.  Centralized banks are indirectly in control of politicians, national armies, etc. etc. ... you think the Bernanke is going to let a bunch of dorks with computers over take the fiat system that enslaves people for their benefit that easily? Hell no.
1156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 04, 2015, 03:13:28 AM
Tonight, I was seeing that clams were about the same price as XMR on poloniex, but I went ahead and spent .5 btc on xmr's instead. Every time I buy new other coins, I lose money. I must be special.  Cool

Well if you buy XMR don't expect a huge increase in value quickly.. It'll be a long and steady process for XMR to gain value, but I believe it will in the long run of things
1157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What 2.0 Currency will be the most successful? on: October 03, 2015, 11:11:16 PM

I agree with you. It’s about time that crypto shows its true potential to Banks and the government by proving to be a fast and efficient system to handle transactions similar or greater than Visa. When Bitshares 2.0 comes out, it could totally rival Visa with its TPS. This is something that Bitcoin should’ve improved in the beginning, but it seems that after all there is going to be a next “Bitcoin 2.0” and that would be Bitshares 2.0 Just my opinion  Grin

Absolutely... for one thing, I think there should always be a gold standard that currencies can judge their price on (Bitcoin). But along with that, there needs to be a coin that boast increased security features (Monero) and a coin that will literally put Visa out of business (Possibly eMunie?)... There can't be one coin that could "do it all", I think that would be impossible... but if those two entities were to work together, and allow more of a choice on which coin they want to get, based on what kind of transactions they want to do (fast or private) then cryptos could potentially have a chance to be reached by the masses.
1158  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Bearish News Thread on: October 03, 2015, 07:58:01 PM
Russian Bear Fed Up With Bitcoin Bullshit

Russia's Ministry of Finance has developed a new version of its proposed law that would seek to both outlaw and apply criminal penalties for activities involving digital currencies, according to a report by Russian news source Interfax.

Citing sources from within the Russian government, Interfax reports that acquiring, selling and distributing cryptocurrencies would be punishable with fines of 300,000 rubles ($4,574) or through up to 360 hours of correctional labor under the new bill.

Should such infractions be committed by an agency or group, the fines for such activities would increase to 500,000 rubles ($7,623).

Dude... you've literally posted that damn picture in every single thread.  How many places have you posted that thing? 10? 15?
1159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AEON] Aeon Speculation on: October 03, 2015, 07:38:19 PM

I've also been monitoring the status of Monero development including their most excellent very-low-memory database implementation (which is a great fit for our plan to target mobile and low cost devices).

Curious use of language. Is smooth mainly an AEON guy these days?  Grin

I'm liking the way Aeon's coming together. Watching.

No just wrote it that way because this is an AEON thread. I'm a Monero guy too.

So just curious, I've just been starting to get interested in Monero recently and have been reading up on the threads and gathering some information about them.  So what does AEON do that Monero doesn't? How are these two related? Easiest place to get some would be where?
1160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [EMUNIE] THE fastest crypto-currency on: October 03, 2015, 07:23:37 PM
Is it possible to invest in this project?

Not yet, its not launched and there is no public fundraiser scheduled atm.

This is a cool project, and cryptos need to find a way to be as fast as possible for the masses to want to adopt, due to their fast paced life styles, IMO... so when do you think the official release of this coin will be?  Any ideas?

There are no "deadlines" - we will release when its done. No Deadlines allows us to experiment and find new solutions even though we thought we had found it - and test those out.. We probably have disapointed more people stating deadlines than with no deadlines because people won't get all exiting we are gonna launch soon with tech we have much improved only to get their hopes down.

If you're really interested in the project, you can go to our forum and ask to be a beta tester and help test it out after the founder tests (who tests the "alpha" versions). There will soon be a new beta to be tested.

I was just about to post this very same.   "Its ready when its ready" is our mentality.  I made the mistake of setting deadlines in the past, only to find I wasn't happy with components of the platform, or had discovered a better way to do things.  I've probably thrown away more code and smart ideas developing eMunie over 2+ years than most of crypto combined!

IMO a better product, in any way, is always worth sacrificing deadlines for, providing that myself and those with a real vested interest all agree.  So I don't set deadlines anymore.

With that in mind, the core design hasn't changed for 9+ months now, and I don't see any better ways to do the things we want to do in order to achieve the goals we set, most are already achieved.  Take from that what you will Smiley

Nice, well will you just be opening up another thread asking for more testers for the new up coming beta version? Or will you just be posting that information here? Regardless I'm going to be monitoring this crypto, so I hope the best for what you guys are trying to achieve Smiley
