1161  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1500 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: May 10, 2016, 11:48:10 AM

Both those links leads to the pages with some strange info. http://p2pool.info/ says that last block was found more than a year ago. http://forre.st:9332/ doesn't even shows a hashrate...  Huh

Here we can se a more precise and actual stats: http://minefast.coincadence.com/p2pool-stats.php

But I like an official links...
1162  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Additional subsidy for P2Pool users: 1-3btc/day on: May 10, 2016, 11:06:47 AM
To encourage users to use P2Pool, I'm sending 1-3btc every 24hrs to all the miners on P2Pool (proportionally).

I wish that someone did the same these days...
1163  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: How to create a mining pool ? on: May 10, 2016, 10:52:01 AM
1) You can use ckpool code: https://bitbucket.org/ckolivas/ckpool;

2) Try to read here: http://cryptomining-blog.com/4379-novices-guide-to-setting-up-a-crypto-currency-mining-pool/ and here: https://github.com/zone117x/node-open-mining-portal/blob/master/README.md;

3) Deploy your own p2pool node and mine there.  Wink

Now it seems to be that they're about to release new improved miner: https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/x11-asic-miner-dr-2-coming.8903/.
1165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Cpu Mining profitable? on: May 08, 2016, 04:13:31 AM
In general you can find some CPU-only forks (HODL, ESP, XMG), and even not CPU-only (like Monero (XMR) - the most credible IMHO).

Also you can try to use this stuff to get some profit using your CPU for mining: https://github.com/nicehash/NiceHashMiner/releases.

1166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] iBeLink™ DM384M ASIC Dash Miner on: May 06, 2016, 08:33:27 AM
Have this miner an overclocking potential?
1167  Local / Майнеры / Re: [P2POOL] п2пулы на crypto.office-on-the.net on: May 06, 2016, 05:15:25 AM
Как получу iBeLink или Pinidea DR-1 (как карты лягут, то и будет в хозяйстве), думаю подключить на вашу DASH-ноду. Она готова к таким скоростям?  Wink
1168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASIC USB Miner for altcoins? on: May 06, 2016, 03:50:41 AM
There should be released an USB miner for X11 algo soon.

1169  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Solo pools for old hardware - on: May 05, 2016, 04:33:33 AM
You could always fire up a p2pool node, we are still chugging along....

Instead of a lottery ticket you get a bunch of smaller payouts, but over the long term, unless you hit the jackpot, will pay out more, and still contributes to decentralization...

You will never mine 25BTC at the pool. And some mining hardware (like Bitmain...) can't work with p2pool correctly without some kind of additional shamanistic dances.
1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Pinidea's X11 ASIC miner (500 MH) - to buy or not to... on: May 05, 2016, 04:04:20 AM
Let's wait for the moment they will start sales again, and I'll probably try my luck with this miner.  Wink

I'm wondering why don't Bitmain announce this FW and post here a changelog...
1172  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What was your worst Cryptocurrency mining investment ? on: May 04, 2016, 08:52:57 AM
S7 batch 6 and batch 8 were my worst investment about 5 monthes ago. I bought it for about $1750 (B6) and $1660 (B8), guess the price I can now sell it for? Yep, 550-560 USD maximum...  Angry
1173  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [40+ PH] SlushPool (slushpool.com); World's First Mining Pool on: May 04, 2016, 08:31:07 AM
Wow...after everything there are still people mining Slush ?!?

This is called "an inertia".
1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] First Ethereum ASIC Miners, by LightMiner Ltd on: May 04, 2016, 07:38:38 AM
Strange website... Can't find their e-mail or at least "Send" button under their contact form...  Huh

But how about other forks based on Dagger-Hashimoto?
1177  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: P2Pool Server List on: April 30, 2016, 07:27:14 AM
Miners are welcome on my 0% fee p2pool node located in Poland.

Try http://salomon.styx.net.pl:9332 and mine.

Best regards.

Thanx a lot! Looks like lowest latency for me in Russia (Novosibirsk).  Grin

I am wondering too that there are so few good proofs for such a good miner...

Here is a link to p2pool stats for DR-1 working with one hashing board (another board seems to be damaged): http://bampfylde.doesntexist.org:7903/static/

You better ask them about it. )

Meanwhile we have a next video from one of buyers: https://dashtalk.org/threads/pinidea-asic-x11-miner-dr-1-hashrate-500mh-s-320w-weighs-4-5kg.8099/page-14#post-92080
