1161  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 7.5 BTC for sale 2% below market rate via BitQuick (Wells Fargo Order)! on: March 05, 2015, 12:45:16 AM
BitQuick.co is run two just the two of us at the moment:

CEO and Founder - Jad Mubaslat

COO - Chad Davis

We are indeed still around and continuing to grow (we've done 24 BTC in volume so far today)! Currently we are part of Boost VC's Tribe 5 of Bitcoin startups.

Feel free to shoot me some feedback anytime at chad@bitquick.co.

If I remember correctly, there was a third guy. What happened to him ?

Do u mean you have made 24 BTC volume Tx only today or so far till date ?
1162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Mining mogul FriedCat has stolen more than a million in AM hash SCAM on: March 04, 2015, 11:00:30 PM
Each time one of these securities shits the bed, each time one of these exchanges fucks up, we move closer and closer to centralized regulated hell that we all sought to escape from in the first place.

great work guys.

And it all started with mining pools when the decentralized nature was first affected...

My I have the OPs endorsement of PICISI?

I'm building PICISI from an idea with hope and cooperation.

PICISI will be a crowdfunding website that accepts fiat and cryptocurrency.

It will be a very powerful vehicle for introducing CC to the broader world.  It will enable many different coin communities to get their respective coins lots of exposure and use.  Utility is the highest function for a currency, with PICISI Organizers and Donors are gently immersed in a world where CC has meaningful and practical financial value -- at PICISI CC get lots of attention.

When visitors come to the site to raise funds for things that interest them they will have the opportunity to collect fiat as well as CC.  There are two host currencies, one for fiat and one for CC.   The Organizer has three options: a) accept sponsorship, b) select from list of CCs, or c) PICISI coin (default).  If they select sponsorship they will actually get paid because of that selection.   That's a great way to introduce CC to someone.   As Host CC sponsor all CC donations (regardless of type) are immediately converted to your currency and remain in that currency until spent or for the duration of the campaign.  The Organizer has the opportunity to spend CC donations with a campaign contractor(s) who help Organizers create, develop, and/or promote their campaign; thereby causing your currency to cycle again.

In addition to Host CC, there are 4 other sponsorship opportunities.

What do you think?

At PICISI there will be many film projects seeking funding, some of which related to CC (like The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin).  We need more documentaries showing all sides of the CC industry.

I dont understand what you are trying to say here. This is a thread discussing a Bitcoin Documentary. What is OP's relation with your project ?

1165  Other / Meta / Re: Green trust..dark versus light. on: March 04, 2015, 09:48:56 PM
Why does some trust show up light green and some shows up dark green? I have never seen it discussed...what is the difference?

Why is that important anyway ? I also wonder why some trusts in extreme right show only in black !!!

e.g. Muhammed Zakir: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=320943
1166  Other / New forum software / Re: How the "One Million Dollar" forum looks like ? on: March 04, 2015, 09:46:48 PM
Yes, the project is still on and a public beta should be expected soon. In my opinion it has a pretty slick design.
you should , as Redsn0w mentioned upload some preview pictures. We'd be really happy to see them : >

There has been a posted preview pic of the new forum, I saw it before, but I can't find it again. Will update here if I can find it.

It is old. It is from December. I think a lot of changes have been made after that.

   -MZ
Where can we find it MZ ? cause i got really intrested now , and want to see it : >
if you could link it for me i wouldnt be able to thank you enough.

These are some image :

I've find only these two image on the github repo (https://github.com/epochtalk/epochtalk/). The last update was 6 days ago.

I think, if someone knowledgeable can install it from github at his spare time, then we may get a better view of it...

When I first got into bitcoin it was after the mtg dynasty fell apart. I did my research and it was at that point that I knew NO exchanges could be trusted.

Not COINBASE either, one day you can wake up and your coins can just not be where they should be. As in,they could just end up "MISSING" and the only reason you are at fault is for trusting them. I only hold coins on their that I trade, not sure why people trust the exchanges as a viable wallet source.

If you are choosing an exchange, check this List of transparent exchanges. These are technically transparent, not on some theoretical trust gained through heavy advertising.
1170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Mining mogul FriedCat has stolen more than a million in AM hash SCAM on: March 04, 2015, 12:30:28 PM
This is why i trust noone, no person, no cloud-hashing service, and no cloud/online wallets. Bitcoin is heaven for scammers, and u simply can't trust anyone anymore.
And of all times, now when the price started the recovery we just simply must have bad news to torch it down once more.
Hope this doesnt end up as bad as it looks now.

cheers
The only exchanges I trust: Gemini and Coinbase.
If scaming happens there and they get away with it its the end.

What is Gemini ? Never heard of it !!!

My reading is that friedcat is the one who was robbed.

Silverspoon is an alt of NotLambchop, who is an alt of crumbs, all notorious trolls.

Still, excellent thread.

But, who did the robbery ? Rock Xie ? Was not he the partner of Friedcat in AM hash ?

In any case, actual hardware stealing is a funny story for a cloud mining operation.

No need to steal the hardware - just put a lock on the warehouse and reconfigure the mining address.

Does anyone know where AM hash warehouse is/was located ?

1179  Other / Meta / Re: Can we have a ponzi section added to the forums? on: March 02, 2015, 12:06:13 AM
I still think we should ban the ponzis after mods create a section for them. They are not good for the community.

i think ponzi should be banned, adding a separate section will be like encouraging them

Some people may claim to ban gambling as well as they are all unlicensed. There is no point doing moral policing. Let the market decide its own destiny...

Expect us...

As an aside, that sounds like a quote from the Anonymous group: “We are Anonymous. We are Legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Expect us. I sure hope your business is a bit more trustworthy than a random anonymous crowd!

Are you crazy ? U r calling Anonymous group a random anonymous crowd! Forget Cloud Mining. They are more trustworthy than your most beloved bitcoin company, whatever or whoever it is...
