1161  Economy / Exchanges / Re: who would have thought: Btc-e coming back this soon! on: July 31, 2017, 02:05:27 PM
Their statement says Alexander Vinnik has nothing to do with their service. I'm fairly sure that part of the statement is a lie.
Why would you believe anything they say right now? Personally, I'll only believe they're coming back/repaying users once everyone has been repaid.

In this case you will be able to exchange your existing BTC funds to BCC on a 1:1 basis.
Exchange meaning if I have 1BTC at your site at the point of the fork, I'll have to decide whether I get BTC or BCC? I can't get 1 of each?
What about future deposits, does that count for those too?
One way or two way exchanges, as in, can I get BTC for BCC I deposit (since you want to support both chains)?
1163  Economy / Gambling / DuckDice.io - BCC/BCH statement and situation regarding an UAHF on: July 31, 2017, 12:51:23 PM
Most likely there won't be a split of a blockchain tomorrow but there is a possibility of temporarily split because of segwit time bomb and in order to eliminate possibility of loosing any transactions we have to disable deposits/withdrawals.
So you don't expect BCC/BCH to go through with their UAHF efforts?
An UASF/BIP148 split seems very unlikely indeed (segwit "time bomb" isn't a reason for that, at least not a direct one).
But at this point, everyone should expect and be ready for a BCC/BCH split.

In case of a blockchain split DuckDice plan to support both.
Meaning users with an active balance at your side will receive the same amount of BCC/BCH
and you will allow gambling with those coins, aswell as deposits/withdrawals on the BCC/BCH chain?

Got a little bit confused when I downloaded what I thought to be a BCC wallet, but it was a BitConnectCoin wallet, also has ticker BCC.
One of the reasons why some exchanges use BCH as ticker instead of BCC.
Personal piece of advice: Stay the hell away from bitconnect.

Just going to add an address from Bittrex if they add it for trading within the given timeframe for withdrawal on Crypto-Games.
10 days is a decent window, most exchanges that will list BCC/BCH should start trading by that.

There seem to be no light desktop wallets yet and I'm not looking to download the entire blockchain.
There's supposed to be a fork of electrum coming out soon (called Electron Cash), I dont know any ETA for that one, though.
If you have a running bitcoin full node (eg core), you should afaik be able to copy over the blockchain into ABC/Classic/unlimited,
but I understand why people prefer light clients, especially when they just want to receive and sell some coins.
1165  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★Crypto-Games.net ★ 9 coins ★ 7 games ★ Since 2014 ★ Largest Crowdfunded Casino on: July 31, 2017, 11:48:54 AM
You can just keep investments 'locked' right? You don't have to divest them (before or after 'split') to get your BCC claim?
BCC claims will be distributed based on the sum of active balance and investments.
Someone having 1BTC on their account and 9BTC in investments will receive 10 BCC to their specified address.
Someone having 5BTC on their account and 5BTC in investments will also receive 10 BCC.

Could someone perhaps recommend an exchange that already has BCC adresses listed?
I don't know of any yet, I however know that Kraken will list BCC (as BCH) shortly after the fork.
Personally, I'm going to wait for that and provide my Kraken BCH address (assuming the listing happens in the 10 day claiming period).

Reminder:

In a few hours (cca. 7 hours from now), bitcoin withdrawals and crediting of bitcoin deposits will be stopped.
If you want to move some BTC to CryptoGames (eg for claiming your BCC that way)
or from CryptoGames to your wallets (eg because you want to claim your BCC on your own), better do it as soon as possible.

Once the split is over and the network is running stable, everything will resume back to normal.
Expected time for this is somewhere in the early hours August 2nd, there'll be another update once that happened.

Transactions on altcoins won't be affected in any way and will continue as before.
The ETH dices are quite hot these days Wink

Sadly, I have little evidence to back this up as I was not around when you apparently posted something along the lines of "I'd like to suggest game-protect as the charity for this donation", which I guess refers to the 2 BTC DuckDice were going to send to charity before they eventually caved and sent it to the OP instead, and what you are going on about in your signature. That sounds like you were seeking payment to keep quiet. But, as I have no evidence, I'll leave that at that...
Duckdice publicly announced that a part of their business model is to donate player deposits to charity and I have all the rights to apply for such a donation.
Only you're not doing any charitable work.
It's one thing to try fighting for what you believe is right. It's another thing doing it in order to profit from the situation.
Your signature implies you want that 2BTC "donation" to shut up and remove the signature/scam accusation on your site.
1168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Support for Bitcoin Cash - Exchanges says NO on: July 31, 2017, 09:39:51 AM
Top 3 Exchanges Confirming Support for Bitcoin Cash Trading.
1. ViaBTC
2. OKEX
3. Livecoin
I wonder under which aspects those have been selected as "Top 3" Roll Eyes

I'm pretty sure there is.
I've managed the known alts thread for mexxer before everything was handed over to Lauda
and we've reached a point where the BBCode was just too big for a single post.
1171  Other / Meta / Forum Ads - ziber on: July 30, 2017, 07:27:21 AM
The forum currently advertises Ziber.io in one of its adspots.
Since the start of this round, their smart contract was hacked and investors funds were stolen.

The address currently shown on their page is not a smart contract address as claimed, but just a regular ETH address.
Any funds sent to this address are most likely going to be lost/stolen.

I know the forum shows that small disclaimer below ads, but in a case as blatant as this (like with bitcoinblackfriday before), the ad just should be removed, imo.

1172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazing Support for Bitcoin Cash! on: July 30, 2017, 07:12:02 AM
In other words it has nothing to do with electrum? Is electrum even making their own bitcoin cash wallet?
No, they've said it breaks some protocol rules so they won't be supporting Bitcoin Cash.
It's been called Electrum Cash when first announced, which was a trademark infringement (-> https://electrum.org/bcc.txt), thus the rename to Electron (very subtle).

Thought you have something new to add so I unignored you. Congrats making it back to my Ignore list-
Ignoring the truth definetely speaks for your shadiness and people should avoid your signature!
Disagreeing with you doesn't make a person shady per se.
Also, looking at your signature, I'd say the same is true about that one.
1174  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ 777Coin Signature Campaign ★☆★ (Jr-Hero Accepted) on: July 29, 2017, 09:30:42 PM
Isn't it your job also to ensure that participants get paid as an escrow.
It is, which means that funds in escrow for the BitVest campaign will be used to pay participants of the BitVest campaign.
Both campaigns will be stopped on Monday should I not receive any word from lightlord before and only resumed once I got funds for outstanding and future rounds.

Sorry about my question above, just curious and a bit worried as I don't know where to get BCC to pay for something.
This campaign pays in BTC, pre and after the fork.
Any potential alternative chains with adjusted network rules do not influence this, we're a bitcoin paying campaign, not a campaign paying in altcoins.
1175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Check and verify.. BCC coins on: July 29, 2017, 09:25:45 PM
I don't know about bitcoin core wallet but Electrum new version just does what you are asking, it loads both version of coins if a hard fork happens.
No it doesn't, not for BCC (-> https://electrum.org/bcc.txt).
In case of a UASF/BIP148 chain split, it would, but in case of a UAHF/BCC split, it won't.

Quote
However, 'Multiple Chain Validation' still includes 'Validation'. In particular, it assumes that both branches of a fork are valid from the
perspective of a SPV wallet, because they both follow the Bitcoin rules.

Bitcoin Cash (BCC) is a hard fork that changes the difficulty rules of Bitcoin.
Therefore, SPV wallets written for Bitcoin will reject the block headers of a BCC fork, and so will Electrum.
1176  Economy / Gambling / Re: ZoomDice.com - Bitcoin Dice Site (Dogecoin Added Today) on: July 29, 2017, 09:09:45 PM
i am using block.io api for processing doge payments as i had few problems with doge core. According to block.io this is a valid doge address. and i've already tested these adress by sending a test payment.
That's odd, my.dogechain.info won't accept it (operated by Block.io, Inc.)

Appears, the address is indeed valid, but it probably would still be better to try offering the commonly used address format (starting with D), as some wallets can't process those other formats.
1177  Economy / Gambling / Re: ZoomDice.com - Bitcoin Dice Site (Dogecoin Added Today) on: July 29, 2017, 08:54:59 PM

This is not a valid DOGE address (all doge addresses start with a D). Seems this is an address not following the common format for doge addresses (D...)
Let's pretend I'm a newbie, I don't know what I'm doing, I want to deposit at your site, but my wallet requires a default address format.
I can't deposit at your site, because my wallet won't accept your address and your site won't provide another format.
1178  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New Casino ZoomDice.com IS SCAM ! on: July 29, 2017, 08:36:52 PM
There are few reasons for manual withdrawals,
1. Bankroll issue, which i am hoping will be solved tomorrow (sunday.)
Does that mean you are insolvent? You should never accept bets that you can't pay out, especially with gambling where you can't hedge. Why did you decide to let people win more than you have? Also, did you really not have more than 0.013BTC?
Just do a manualy witdrawal / transfer from your wallet. It's not hard to make clear this case, That is just showing your sh*t  really can't able to paying / possible to exit scam.
My deposit has 0.01BTC. My profits of game 0.003BTC  Roll Eyes
I have been told by my investor that he will provide me with bankroll tomorrow. The withdrawal mode will be changed to auto and max profit per bet will also increase.
You shouldn't accept deposits and bets if you are de facto not able to cover any winnings the users might make with those.
Are you ready to provide proof of solvency once that happens (sign a message from coldwallets, keep funds there to assure your players you can cover bets/withdrawals)?
1179  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ 777Coin Signature Campaign ★☆★ (Jr-Hero Accepted) on: July 29, 2017, 08:30:45 PM
In the unlikely event that you don't get a top-up 'til next payout, would you be willing to pay us from bitvest.io campaign wallet?
Absolutely not.

I was just saying that if lightlord send the money for the next week then I guess he could have the chance to pay lesser amount because of the current happening this august tho it was just my opinion
Talk to lightlord.
I can only work with the funds I'm getting, when I'm getting them.
1180  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitmixer.io - Waiting more than 6 hours of mixing - NEED HELP on: July 29, 2017, 07:08:01 PM
He actually posted here right after my last post saying that he indeed got scammed by the fake website "BITMIXOR". Looks like he deleted the post because he was also asking for donations to "help him recover his losts".
More likely, moderation deleted the post as it violates forum rules (and been reported).

@OP: You can start a scam accusation against the phishing site, but I doubt that's going to lead anywhere.
