1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie's guide to avoid ICO Scam on: October 07, 2020, 06:51:11 PM
Nice topic and some useful tips but these unrealistic goals is what people fell for and invest and it is more like something that is too good to be true is usually scam but people because of being in crypto expect big things and when a project is promising big things one feels like if he does not invest now he might miss a big opportunity and hence the FOMO brings more and more victims.

I personally never invest in any ICO that does not have any model ready but is planning to change the world very soon because a team that is actually interested in their project will always have something build up and at least some progress to show to their investors. Promising too much for the future and having done nothing in past for a project is also a classic sign of a scam or at least dull project. The developers might never work on the project since all they wanted was money.
1162  Economy / Economics / Re: FOLLOW THIS RULES TO BECOME RICH on: October 07, 2020, 05:47:46 PM
Some OP rules have a point, but too many rules can also be dizzy and monotonous.
I personally try to hang out with successful people who are safe as an example or my motivation to be successful or rich and keep trying to never give up and there is a possibility that they will help or just important advice, and besides that I will try to grow the money I have by how to invest even a small amount and live in a discipline including exercise to stay healthy and be able to do what I did to get rich.
No matter how much you work and what you achieve in life, I have always believed that luck is all that matters in life. I mean you are born in a rich family then you get automatically rich and you don't have to work much. You are beautiful as a woman and you get to marry a rich man, you again become rich. So I mean while we should work hard no doubt but to be blatantly honest luck plays a big role on life whether we like that or not that is a fact and we cannot run away from that.

I have been raised up in a middle class family and people around me are damn rich not because they have better work ethics than me but only because they were born with a golden spoon in mouth.
1163  Economy / Economics / Re: "Humans will not be replaced by robots very soon" --- yeah right !!! on: October 07, 2020, 05:09:42 PM
Using the word "Replace" is totally wrong.
Not really because a worker who used to work in a restaurant will loose his job to a robot so it is actually the right word indeed.

Humans was not be replaced by robots almost ever. Robots are created to do the stuff better, with more accuracy and indefatigable. But they always need the human to command them even with AI they will need human to create the automated program.
True and worth because robots don't get emotional and don't make mistakes which actually works good for industries and businesses but actually make a huge cut on un-educated workers which again means more loss of jobs.

Without of humans these are just piece of iron and won't understand anything by themselves. Many traditional people lost their jobs because of them but they always could learn the new technology and artificial intelligence science to develop the robots instead of being jobless.
They are much more developed than you might think because I heard there are robot being made which are now learning with the AI technique and actually generate the ability to take self decisions based on their past experience of similar situations.
1164  Economy / Economics / Re: Sales of wedding rings are increasing on: October 07, 2020, 04:32:16 PM
Lockdown has caused some things increased in some countries, due to the lockdown. Wholesale find it difficult to go to market to buy some goods and add to the one in the store,  that  is why the wholesale  prefer  to increase the little one remain in the store to a higher price.

Even my customer I send money to supply me wedding rings, told me that wedding rings price has increased due to the pandemic but if I want to purchase in high price he will supply me but I don't know how my own customer ,would understand that pandemic has increase things in the market.
That's actually strange because the sales of more rings should mean that the price should go down since everyone wants to clear the items they hold right now even the jewellers are trying to sell the gold and rings for cheap because in such tough times no one wants to stock items with them.

I understand the sales of rings but I am not really sure how the cost of rings is going up and I am not sure if it is actually going up or it is happening round you only Grin.

I was never a fan of these show offs like wedding rings and all rather a simple court marriage is the best option as saving money for future is more important than showing off now and regretting later.

Turning the equivalent of 85 cents into $650.00!!  as you can see, odds of 1367/1  Shocked Shocked
It is always hilarious that these amazing high level winners end up betting very very tiny amounts, from small cents to few dollars at most. You don't see people wager 50 bucks on a 1300 odd bet, which would be insane and who would do that but I am sure there are some few super rich people who tries that in the end.

Also I saw the multi master and I can say that 15 leg is always a huge drag, but I am sure if we can try hard enough we could one day get it, it is obviously not easy and there is too many complications that could go wrong, we are talking about 15 games obviously it is going to be tough but also if we win just ONE of these, we are there for our bankroll, I am sure I will never have to deposit any money ever again if I win one of these and continue to play with that money (being a gambler is weird, I am not even considering withdrawing Cheesy).
1166  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lamborghini Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: October 06, 2020, 05:07:15 PM
slots are fantastic but the HE is too much Cry
Dice is still better for me, it is the OG game and I will always like it, it is also both together as a community but also stand alone by yourself at the same time as well, it is a great deal. It is a together thing because there is chat and you can talk to people about your dice games and they may see it on the history part as well if you look at recents or maybe you are a high roller, but also just chat about anything, the chat there is not strictly gambling, people talk about everything in general there.

However it is also great for stand alone because you are not playing with anyone at the same time, so all those 1.00 and so forth constant things are really not that big of a deal, since you can arrange your own betting however you want and the game waits for you instead of continues without you.
1167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buyin Crypto with Credit card on: October 06, 2020, 06:57:58 AM
I do that always with cex.io exchange, they proceed plastic cards. besides, withdraw also available.
What are their fees and how long it takes to process the payments? Do they accept small amounts?

also paxful allow to buy crypto directly with credit card (Just note this is a p2p exchange).
But it is never safe to provide your card details to a random and unknown person online just to buy some dollars worth of bitcoins because they can further sell your private data and card details to people who do carding of funds and can juice out all the money in your bank account and even take credits on top of it.

I would never want to buy BTC with a person with my card rather go with internet banking and make a simple transfer instead.
1168  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your strategy in taking profit on: October 06, 2020, 06:03:52 AM
You can't make profits from stable coins, you should choose the volatile coins depends on how long you will take for your trade,if it is long term then you should go with Bitcoin like ones, for day trading you can go with trending shitcoin or just with bitcoin as well.

For tax purposes it depends on where you are from.
Stable coins can be good to hold your money. I always convert my money into USDT at the end of every trading window like once my orders are filled and trades are completed I usually convert my bitcoins and all profits into USDT because I know that I actually ended up in profit today and if I leave them in crypto itself I might feel that I am in profit but the price change might swing it tomorrow into loss.

I always love the fact that we can convert out bitcoins in fiat now (USDT I mean) and then whenever needed we can convert it back into bitcoins for trading at no major cost apart from the minor Binance trading  fees which you can reduce further by paying in BNB coins.

1170  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: October 05, 2020, 07:00:27 PM
We have talked about the timing of the V2 recently and like we assumed (which they agreed I believe) the majority of the job is done by the looks of it but the small fixes takes longer. The 80-20 rule applies on development as well, 80% of the job is done in 20% of the time and the last 20% of the job is done in 80% of the time.

So, as you might imagine it is quite understandable that they are almost ready, but they are trying to perfect it. Could they release it tomorrow with bunch of bugs and glitches and problems? I am 100% sure they can, but they are probably just trying to make sure it has no problems at all so once when they update, they are not going to have any issues at all, and making a code that perfect takes insane amount of time when you work on such a big task.
1171  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: October 05, 2020, 04:25:49 AM
Why only football and tennis available for sports betting on the freebitco.in? What about the NBA? The first game in the NBA final series will be played on Thursday, and it would be cool to see bets on this event.

The NBA Finals bet is live. You can head over to the betting section now and wager on the same.
Furthermore, we'll be adding more NFL and MLB bets soon!

It is great to have nba finals bet. Now that dragic is out and Bam is injured and we don't know what will happen to him (maybe he will be back or not) and Butler got injured but continued to play, but he is not at 100% for sure, we can be safe to assume that Lakers have an upper hand on this game. Obviously this is basketball and anything could happen but Lakers were favorites even before these injuries, now that these injuries happened we could say that Lakers are even more of a favorite in this series by a big margin.

You can see it in the betting section as well, Lakers have like 1.27 odds so that clearly shows that everyone thinks Lakers will win. I am not even ruling out a sweep neither, if they continue to play this seriously without getting too cocky they could even sweep.

Thanks freebitco.in for adding bets around the NBA finals; great to see that you guys really listen. Keep up the good work!
The odds for the Lakers to win just dropped to 1.16...No value at all, even with the time multiplier.
Betting on Lakers whenever you can should be no brainer, even if it peaks down to 1.05 at one point it will always be free money, there is no way in the world Miami gets this series, you have to have AD and Lebron get injured at the same time in order for Miami to even have a chance and since Lakers are up 2-0 on the series now, I am not even entirely sure if that would be even enough for Miami, hence this is an already over series.

We have Lakers as the new champions and we are getting free money if we wager on Lakers. I wagered a lot earlier, even before series started, so I think I am going to get more compared to someone who wagers now, it was around 1.44 or something when I wagered, but that doesn't change anything, doesn't matter what the odds are, it is free money.
1172  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: September 29, 2020, 04:31:15 PM
If FortuneJack is a good and reputable site, why did they choose to moderate the topic themselves on this forum? This usually only happens for 1 reason, to remove comments from people here. Isn't it much better to open a regular topic that is not itself moderable? I think this raises a lot of suspicion (rightly so?)

I've seen a lot of negative comments (even ones based on nothing real) and they don't remove those posts. I don't mind a self-moderated topic as they can remove senseless spam in this thread as that sometimes happen.

perla. Almost ALL the threads here are self-moderated. FJ and others allow comments and keep them, but only if they are constructive. Self moderation is to clean the thread and make it useful for the people ACTUALLY using them,,, just go back and see this thread and see many negative comments left there for all to see.
You may not like the self-moderated topic which actually has zero deleted but still if you feel uncomfortable about it you can, it is your personal feeling and nobody has a right on your feelings, so you can openly talk about it. However, one thing can be done about it, if you feel so strongly about fortunejack and feel that people can't write here easily because they would be afraid of retribution from fortunejack, all you have to do is open a new one?

You can open a new topic about fortunejack that is not moderated and you could talk about the casino there with people who would be willing to talk about it without fear of deletion. Even though none has been deleted from here, that is still an option for other people, I am sure even with another topic, nobody would be talking about it like it is not a great place because it has been one of the best for so many years.

1174  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who sets the bitcoin price? on: September 28, 2020, 08:07:44 PM
I understand that newbies may have some questions, they are free to ask. I have seen people who ask "who makes these bitcoins you buy" as well, he assumed bitcoin was a company that we bought, like it was some sort of stock market situation and we bought shares of a company, he didn't know at all and assumed satoshi nakamoto was a person who sold these.

When he figured it out he liked it more but that doesn't mean he was a bad investor or an idiot when he asked that question, if you are new you are free to ask whatever you want and there is no wrong questions, as long as you are keen to learn more about bitcoin you should be asking about everything. However when there is a discussion about the answer, these newbies are not sure which one of us tell the truth, that is a hard path to overcome for them.
1175  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price are decreasing? on: September 28, 2020, 06:40:43 PM
There are people who will always call for a bear run, we can't stop them and that is what they like to do, so we just have to learn to ignore them. Obviously time to time they are going to be right because bitcoin does fall sometimes but they are doing this all the time, even when it goes up there are people who keep saying "it went up too much, it will have a hard fall" while it still continues to go up, so you have to learn to ignore them.

At the same time we are talking about bitcoin here, obviously it is a volatile currency and there will be days when you see it go up 10% and there will be days when it goes down 10% and you have to just be ready for both of them. If you plan ahead for both of them that means you are going to be profiting no matter what happens.
1176  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your strategy in taking profit on: September 28, 2020, 03:04:33 PM
Not all the people here are active traders nor intentional holders. There are people here who loves bitcoins and adopts it like how they do treat their fiats.  Do you ever think about deriving a strategy for your fiats?

I mean if you are already into a level of adoption on which assuming bitcoin for main stream then there will be no point of planning for taking profits. I am enjoying my bitcoins with that kind of strategy. I do buy bitcoins whenever it is available for cheaper prices and also I am spending bitcoins for my living and at price levels which is higher than my buying prices.

Simply, I am not selling my bitcoins for profits but for my living and at the same time, I am enjoying multifold returns for my investments in bitcoins but it takes years of time.
1177  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best trading platform for beginners? on: September 28, 2020, 01:39:53 PM
For a "newbie" I could totally suggest the test places, doesn't matter which one since you are not really spending any money but if you could go to test exchange places and they will give you some fake money, like "here is 10 thousand dollars" or whatever and they will tell you to go and make trades with that, obviously you will buy and sell there with fake money but the price changes of the coins will be the real deal, so if bitcoin in real life goes from $10k to $11k you will see it changed in the test exchange as well.
These days lots of platforms started accommodating traders in demo mode like how gambling houses are doing the same for years. Probably the number of exchanges which are providing  demo mode is very less in crypto space but all forex+crypto exchanges are always coming up with demo mode. For beginners demo accounts are always handy whereas I guess this topic is not just about practicing but about experiencing the real heat of market for relatively new traders. So, only demo mode suggestion will not meet the goal of this topic.

In my personal opinion, binance and kucoin are the best for trading.
Yeah, but all reputed exchanges are good to go with all beginners. Except the level of trading engine's speed and for the concern of less congestion while executing orders, I am also suggesting to go with top level exchanges. After binance and kucoin, I recommend bittrex(KYC is mandatory).
1178  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trying to share wisdom on: September 28, 2020, 10:13:20 AM
Best advice I can give to anyone who is starting new, restarting again, or have been around for a decade would be to be ready for anything in crypto world.

I have been here for a decade and when defi suddenly jumped and became this billions of dollars worth of thing I was shocked, I wasn't ready for it and I was very surprised as well, defi wasn't a brand new thing when that happened, there was few places that dealt with defi beforehand as well but one day when I woke up something changed in defi world and suddenly they became source for gold. That is why do not really be shocked if anything unexpected happens, maybe tomorrow bitcoin will be 3k and ethereum will be 5k, who knows? Nobody can guarantee you what can happen in crypto, so be ready for everything.
1179  Economy / Economics / Re: I have discovered Something about covid 19 on: September 27, 2020, 06:30:05 PM
The thing about politicians is that they do not look for what is best for the country, they look what is best for their voters. I have been involved in politics in my nation and I can tell you that if something is bad for the country but gains votes, politicians will do that, if something is great for the nation but loses you votes, they will not do that.

So, that results with a nation being ruled with "what will gain me votes" and that is how they become amazingly popular politicians and when they become so powerful that they could do some failed stuff that will only gain them power but will lose them a bit of votes, they will still be high ahead enough to keep them at their position they start to do them more and more and turn iron fist dictators over time, some nations can prevent it, some nations can't.
1180  Economy / Economics / Re: Why criminals prefer cash (Fiat) on top of crypto? on: September 27, 2020, 05:50:36 PM
You are about 8 years too late to make this statement. Crypto has been favorite of illegal people for a decade now, obviously it is not considered money for the criminals anymore because it is a great financial instrument and people who bribe politicians are involved with crypto nowadays which is why they are not allowing governments to ban it, however this doesn't mean criminals just went away.

We all remember darknet and silkroad, dude made over 11k bitcoins thanks to being middle man for all the criminals and people who hired them. Mainly it was a drug thing, people basically bought drugs online thanks to silkroad. So, as you can see bitcoin and crypto in general was used for (and probably still is) for all the illegal stuff, it is not a brand new idea.
