In 2021, 94% of all crypto buyers are millennials and gen Zs’ under the age of 40

Source link: https://triple-a.io/crypto-ownership-data/

This means that you are reading the data incorrectly. In your post, you claimed "80% of the world...", that's a very big number and I don't know what exactly you meant by that, but it's obviously wrong.

From the source you quoted:

Quote
As of 2023, we estimated global crypto ownership rates at an average of 4.2%, with over 420 million crypto users worldwide.

"420 million crypto users" is approximately 5.3% of the total population of the world, that's not even close to 80%.

@joker_josue, while I was fixing some of my old posts that had missing images, I had an idea. Is it possible to enable the "add image URLs" option, like the one available on ImgBB service? This would make it easier for users who want to migrate their images from Imgur to TalkImg.com on their own, since the images are still available there, but not displayed on the forum.

1183  Other / Meta / Re: Imgur images suddenly became invalid? on: May 13, 2023, 04:28:47 PM
Does anyone have a link to a PHP script that functions in a way similar to Imgur?

You can try https://picsur.org/

You can find their GitHub repository at https://github.com/caramelfur/picsur. It's an open source script but I'm not sure if it's in PHP or JavaScript (or both). It might be worth checking out.

FIRST TIME HERE
Kudos to the founder satoshi nakamoto and the lunching team of BTC crypto-currency.
It's like a mystery: beyond mere human explanation, what we all enjoy and 80% of the world, mostly youths, working and none working class's aim and admiring and dream currency, was found in 2009.

The geometry progression of this innovative individual idea: BTC, surpasses man and his ordinary prediction.
Generational thanks to the founder and the forum members for sustaining this great and wonderful virtual crypto-currency.

Welcome to the forum! It's great to see new people interested in cryptocurrency.

While Bitcoin has gained significant popularity in recent years and there are many people who believe in the potential of decentralized currency that can provide greater financial freedom, I am suspicious about the data you provided. Can you provide any sources to back up the claim that 80% of the world's youth are interested in Bitcoin? It is always a good practice to research and verify any claims before accepting them as fact, and I don't believe that I have ever come across this information before.
1185  Economy / Economics / Re: Why you should use spare money to invest on: May 13, 2023, 03:46:05 PM
I totally agree with you! I learned this lesson the hard way when I first started investing. I was so excited to jump into the market that I invested a sum of money without really knowing what I was doing. Needless to say, I ended up losing quite a bit.

It's been a few years now, and while I still experience some losses, I've learned to manage my risks. Diversification is always a good thing and it's wise to spread your investments across different assets to minimize risks. But with age and experience, I have come to realize that investing demands considerable research and study. I have learned the hard way not to throw my money into something I don't entirely comprehend, regardless of how profitable it may seem initially. Even with diversification, it's still important to do your own research and due diligence before making any investment decisions. That means taking the time to read up on all the relevant information. And don't be afraid to seek advice from professionals or experienced investors, but always remember that the final decision should ultimately be yours.
1186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: USDT sent to inactivated address! on: May 13, 2023, 03:30:39 PM
<...>

First of all, if your transaction has been confirmed on the network (and I assume it has), then you cannot recover it anymore.
Secondly, if you didn't authorize the transaction, then either your system is compromised (you have some sort of trojan or spyware on your computer) or your private key is compromised (someone else has access to it). I suggest that you create a new wallet on a clean system as soon as possible and transfer all remaining funds to the new address. Finally, just because the funds are unspent at the destination address doesn't mean that the address is inactive.
1187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sending bank statement for verification on: May 13, 2023, 03:06:00 PM
You have probably made the deposit using your bank account and a debit or credit card and they only want to see if you have actually sent the deposit or not and I don't see anything wrong in that. They have nothing to do with your personal information and stuff, you should simply hide sensitive details and send them the details of the transaction.

It should be a matter of concern if they ask you for your personal information or bank account details, etc. Even if they inquire about your bank account number, it shouldn't be an issue since they can't do anything else apart from verifying the payment.
Yes, I also think it's a bit strange if the OP doesn't want to show that even though he has chosen to use a bank account to make a deposit and of course he already understands the risks, namely when a problem like this occurs he shouldn't feel doubtful about the casino asking for proof, even though he could. hide sensitive things not to share.

Half-half trust makes the OP not really serious in showing evidence, I'm sure the casino also feels suspicious too and doesn't trust the OP so here needs honesty from both of them, I think why are there still people who still use bank accounts to deposit at gambling whereas crypto makes things easier.  Cheesy

Yes, OP was active again today, unfortunately, he did not come back to this topic to clarify the situation, and it's unclear why he hasn't yet provided the necessary proof to the casino. It's possible that there is a miscommunication or misunderstanding, or perhaps the player is hesitant to share the information for personal reasons. However, as mentioned earlier, requesting proof of deposit is a common practice, especially for larger transactions, and it's typically nothing to be concerned about.

I was on the hunt for odds at Winz Casino, but I couldn't seem to find the market anywhere. So, I did what any good gambler would do and hit up some other platforms (which shall remain nameless), where I found the odds for every single contestant in tonight's event. Time to place my bets and let Lady Luck do her thing!

1189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: May 13, 2023, 12:56:04 PM
Those who commit suicide only think that ending their life can solve all the problems in the world. But they don't think about the fate of the family they left behind. Their family would be very sad because, after all, he was a member of the family. This is why each family member must be able to help each other if someone is having difficulties.

I agree. I know it might sound a bit harsh and maybe insensitive, but the more I think about it, the more it seems to me that suicide as a way out is only for cowards. Then again, I've never been in that kind of situation, and I hope I never will be, but I believe that no matter what life throws at us, we have to gather our strength and face it head-on. That's the only way.
1190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto VS Fiat Online Gambling as per Google trends on: May 13, 2023, 12:48:45 PM
People ignore it because most USDT casinos enforce KYC on the players. USDT is not exactly USD but it is still in a grey area so they still have have to comply with the government rules. When you send your money to a pure crypto casino however, none of that bullshit applies to you or to the casino anymore. Especially if the casino don't have a gambling licence, you are in the wonderland.

I gotta say, I don't agree with that. For starters, USDT and other stablecoins are still considered cryptocurrencies, no matter how you slice it. They're not officially backed by any country or central bank, so comparing them to fiat currencies just doesn't fly. And as for KYC, it's not just limited to fiat casinos. Any casino with a legit license from an authorized institution - whether they accept pure crypto, pure fiat, or a mix of both - will require KYC from their players if it's mandated by law.

The math is simple:

No FIAT = No government = No regulations = No headaches.

No, the math is: No license = No government = No regulations = No KYC.
1191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto VS Fiat Online Gambling as per Google trends on: May 12, 2023, 04:28:42 PM
I believe that this graph is not an accurate representation. For example, some online casinos accept US dollars, British pounds, and euros, while others may accept currencies such as Canadian dollars, Australian dollars, Japanese yen, etc. All of these are fiat currencies used in various regions around the globe. So it goes without saying that players from different countries will prefer to use their own currency to play and make transactions. While the USD is likely the most widely used, the significance of the others should not be overlooked. For instance, I would never use the term "USD gambling" in my search.
1192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: May 12, 2023, 04:01:40 PM
A heartbreaking incident (suicide) committed by a gambling addict occurred again in one of the cities in my country. I am surprised by people who are determined to commit suicide because of debt, after all debt is something that can be solved, message for suicides - why should you end your life and leave your wife and children without clarity, doesn't that only make them suffer more and the future of the children becomes uncertain!

It is truly sad to hear of such tragic cases of suicide due to gambling addiction and debt, and it is worrying that some people feel trapped and helpless in their situation and see suicide as the only way out. While it may seem simple to say that debt can be solved, the truth is that for some people it can be a huge burden that they feel they cannot overcome. We have to admit that we don't know what others are going through. Everyone's circumstances are unique and we never really know what someone feels inside and how deeply they struggle.

In situations like this, I think the people who can make the most significant difference are those in the immediate environment, such as family members, friends and colleagues. They need to be there to listen to their struggles and give them support and encouragement to seek help. Suicide is never a solution and only leads to more pain and suffering for the loved ones left behind. That's why we should all make an effort to support and care for those around us, especially those who may be going through difficult times.

Thanks for sharing the list of finalists and the odds for the contest winner. It's interesting to see Finland and Ukraine also have strong odds for the win. However, I'm curious as to why the odds for only a few candidates were shared. Is it because those are the only bets available on your platform, or could you provide odds for all the finalists?
1194  Economy / Gambling / Re: How succesful will AI projects be to win the house? on: May 12, 2023, 02:47:34 PM
I still do not know why people are wasting their time in making an AI to predict game events for them, it's a pure waste of time as it will not work now or later. Everyone should think rightly, the AI is not spiritual, and neither is it a soothsayer, it can only work based on what is coded in it and the information it can gather.

It's a common misconception that an AI cannot predict the outcome of sports events with accuracy. In fact, there are several companies and organizations that use AI algorithms to analyze data and make predictions on various sporting events. For example, the sports data company Stats Perform uses AI to analyze data on various sports such as soccer, basketball, and American football, and has been shown to have a high level of accuracy in predicting outcomes. Additionally, Google's DeepMind has developed an AI that can predict the likelihood of a player scoring in a soccer game with 48 hours of training data. These examples show that AI has the potential to be an effective tool for predicting sports outcomes.

With these, can it do more than human beings? Of course not. Human beings can even predict better than it since they can manually study the situation and be able to reach a good conclusion. This is unlike AI which is susceptible to mistakes, and it can't hack future events for anyone, it's impossible.

Of course, AI predictions are not perfect. The algorithms used are only as good as the data they are given. sports events can be very unpredictable, with factors like injuries and unexpected performances from players or teams that can impact the outcome. So, while AI can be helpful in providing information and guiding decisions, it should not be solely relied upon when it comes to sports betting or making predictions.

I dont care.

We don't care either, so why this topic?

By the way, DireWolfM14's negative feedback on your account was within his rights and consistent with the standards of this community, and I think it was justified. If you don't like it, you're welcome to seek a loan from another source.

Thanks for the most useless post possible, " YOU CAN LEAVE" , " YOU CAN LOOK OTHER WAY"
NO SHIT BRO ?

Posting negative feedback becouse you got your feelings hurt? You can also not look , and not comment on posts that dont envolve you in the first place.

Oh, pardon me! I must have missed that this is your own personal playground and not a platform for public discussion. Clearly, everyone should just keep their opinions to themselves and not engage in any public discourse whatsoever. And hey, guess what, Sherlock? People are allowed to have their own opinions, whether you agree with them or not! Shocking, I know. But let me make this clear - there is absolutely no justification for calling for violence or issuing death threats against another member of this forum. I don't know what kind of sick individual you are, but it takes a special kind of coward to hide behind a keyboard and spew such vile words. I highly doubt you would have the courage to say those things in person. It's easy to feel safe and powerful in your mom's basement, isn't it?

How did you find out about the minimum deposit with BTC of $100? I'm still trying to verify their latest claims regarding fees, but to no avail. When I try to deposit BTC, all I see is this: ~
Close the finance page if the processing is taking a long time to complete. Then try to check the deposit amount again by opening the finance page. The minimum deposit limit is written on the finance page.

Thanks! I see it now.

Code:
Min 100.00 USD

I swear that I saw 20.00 USD there just a minute ago... No matter, $100 is way too high and too risky for me. I'm not comfortable depositing that amount just to try out a new gambling platform that has no reputation in the community.

1. We have made changes to our fee structure. From now on, we will cover all transaction fees, eliminating the need for you to worry about any additional costs.

You changed the minimum deposit for BTC as well, now your minimum deposit with BTC is $100, is it because of the current condition with the bitcoin network?

How did you find out about the minimum deposit with BTC of $100? I'm still trying to verify their latest claims regarding fees, but to no avail. When I try to deposit BTC, all I see is this:

Either they completely disabled BTC deposits (other currencies work) or they use a crappy payment processor.

1199  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ NowDice.com 🎲 Low House Edge 🎲 NO KYC! 💰 Jackpot 💰 on: May 07, 2023, 07:20:44 PM
A 0.5% fee is applied by the payment processor for deposits, and a 0% fee for withdrawals. Users are responsible for paying any applicable blockchain network fees (gas fees) associated with their transactions. Currently, both the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and the Polygon (MATIC) network have the lowest gas fees.

In that case, something is wrong with your payment processor.
I don't know if you have adequately tested your deposit process, but here is a concrete example:

Let's say I want to deposit $50 worth of bitcoins. This is what I get when I access the deposit page:

And when we convert that amount back into USD according to the current exchange rate:

(thanks to preev.com)

So, can you help me understand where that extra 44% ($22.29) difference went?

do you mind sharing what payment processor you use for your website?
i think only your website has a 0.5% fee for deposits and if you compare it to top crypto gambling websites you won't find anything like this.

The 0.5% fee wouldn't be much of an issue if it were accurate. But the actual exchange rate being charged is outrageous, as evident from my example.

Btw, as far as I understand, they use nowpayments.io payment processor on their website.

even if he finds the person who sold it to him, what will he do next? unable to recall the entire seed phrase after all these years, the human brain cannot do this.

Hmm, I'm not entirely sure if seed phrases were even around back then. I'm not sure when the first HD wallet was introduced, but as far as I know they weren't around in 2009.
