121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 09, 2024, 05:01:50 AM
The Pacers and Knicks game today doesn’t excite me too much. Without a proper superstar it’s almost like watching a college game to me… Plus, I don’t really like either team’s roster now, or their franchise historically. So I’ll probably take a day off from the NBA playoffs to chase some other hobbies. I’m secretly hoping for the Pacers to win though.

People need to put respect on JB's name.

LOL. He’s going to have to do more to reach star status.

Congrats to Jokic winning another MVP. Almost seems dumb at this point they keep giving them to him. I think Doncic did enough to earn an MVP this season and Shaq said to Jokic that he thought SGA was more deserving of the MVP…

Trump just made it very clear that he is the pro cryptocurrency candidate in this upcoming Presidential race. Not only has he stated that if you are into crypto you should vote for him while mocking Joe Biden as not knowing what it is, but he also stated that he is officially accepting cryptocurrency donations for his campaign.
123  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: May 08, 2024, 10:07:09 PM
Got another set of 55 push-ups in today and then finished with 45 more. This one went much smoother but I’m definitely pushing the limits of what I can do. I believe this is the first time I’ve done 100 push-ups in 2 sets. I’ve also noticed that I’ve stopped losing weight and have been adding it as a result of this challenge. In spite of looking thinner, I’m about 7 pounds heavier now then when I started.

Trudeau was taught well by Klauss Schwab. You will own nothing an be happy.

It’s like Canada didn’t get the memo that the whole you will own nothing and be happy by 2030 shtick has been kicked down the road a bit after a stronger than foreseen resistance to the vaccinations. Now they’re focusing on how to edit genes through the food supply. I don’t know why Bill Gates woke up one day and decided to become Thanos… Between governments trying to bankrupt with inflation or kill us in order to distribute wealth to close the door behind their families to the wealthy individuals club and people like Bill Gates releasing altered mosquitos, poisoning our food supply, and cutting down forests, the world is taking a turn to become a scary place.
125  Economy / Speculation / Re: LAST CHANCE TO BUY BITCOIN..... on: May 08, 2024, 08:39:45 PM
Buying out of fear is almost never the right move. I’d say the opposite to people. If you feel like you’re getting FOMO, walk away from that market for a while and see how things develop. Most of the time you’re being manipulated by your emotions and will do the wrong thing at the worst time if you let them control you. Buy because you think Bitcoin is a good idea and you want to own some in your portfolio, not because you’re afraid of missing out. Bitcoin will still be here tomorrow.
126  Other / Politics & Society / Re: "It Was All STAGED" Did Trump Case Just COLLAPSE?! on: May 08, 2024, 08:32:04 PM
It shows the fear some people have of Trump. These same people don't realize that the Biden team is doing just exactly what they are afraid of Trump about.

That’s pretty much the Democrat playbook. Do horrible things, then accuse your rivals of doing said horrible things. I think even most democrats realize their party has gone insane though. I have a hard time believing even the liberals on this board will vote Biden come November. You’d have to be a complete idiot to not see what has happened over the last 4 years and think we’re heading in the right direction.
127  Economy / Reputation / Re: What is happening in the Stake… on: May 08, 2024, 08:26:44 PM
I’m not going to lie, I’m a little bummed about the move to USDT for this campaign. I love Stake as a company and have no desire to switch to another advertiser, but I also want BTC, not USDT. So I guess I’ll have to look into what to do with this USDT coming my way now. I hope they’ll consider adding higher withdrawal fees or allowing participants to take a pay cut in order to continue receiving BTC in the future.
128  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 08, 2024, 08:05:21 PM
I’m not sure I can remember a time when the overall mood around Bitcoin is so bearish while the price is so close to all time highs. This is incredibly bullish for me, as it shows that most people aren’t even considering Bitcoin yet. These folks will probably FOMO in above $100K. I do have a little doubt that maybe I’m wrong and the normies are right, but I’ll stick to hodling and see what happens.
129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 08, 2024, 08:03:29 PM
Interesting news I missed yesterday. Trae Young is no longer being represented by Clutch Sports. That seemingly means that a move to the Lakers this summer to pair him with LeBron isn’t happening. My guess is the Lakers will go after Klay Thompson or Buddy Hield as their shooter, but the odds are long for both. This should be another blow to Lakers nation…
130  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Air-tites.com -the way to go for coin protection on: May 08, 2024, 07:17:29 PM
I've used air-tites for my binary rounds for a long time and highly recommend them.  I've even had collectors reach out to me and ask if my coins were real silver because they weren't toning like other coins from their collection...  Try explaining to someone that your coins never touch human hands and are packaged in the best quality air-tites while other coin distributors handle their coins with their bare hands freely and use the cheapest possible capsules, leaving your coins exposed to air, covered with oil, and that is causing them to tone.  Anyway, this is good advice.  Air-tites are legit.
131  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 08, 2024, 07:12:08 PM
With all of the signs pointing to a high likelihood of a recession coming I think the next 18 months will be interesting.  Warren Buffett's cash pile is typically a pretty good indicator of recessions and right now it's screaming to sell investments.  With the stock market and traditional economy seemingly headed off a cliff in 2025, it is interesting to consider that this is when Bitcoin should be hitting a new massive peak.  Will Bitcoin be able to laugh in the face of a global recession and still find the capital to bubble up as it has in the past, or will it fall victim to the global recession causing massive bankruptcies in mining companies and fire sale prices?
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: May 08, 2024, 07:08:08 PM
I said I wasn't going to bet any games or watch them today because I don't really care about the series between the Pacers and the Knicks.  That being said, I had to toss something at the game just to make it a little interesting.  This is a crazy bet that makes no sense in almost any scenario, but I'm taking it because why not.  The Pacers to win by between 1-5 points.  I don't think I've ever made a prediction like that before, so I'm sure it's a loser, but for entertainment purposes it should be useful.

New York Knicks - Indiana Pacers
Winning Margin (Incl. Overtime)
Indiana Pacers by 1-5

Odds
6.61
133  Economy / Gambling / Re: Help me find sites or telegrams to track fixed matches on: May 08, 2024, 06:45:59 PM
Trying to gamble on fixed matches posted online is the dumbest thing possible. First, those matches aren’t actually fixed, it’s just some guy trying to make money off you.  Secondly, even if you get lucky and do win, you’ll be investigated for betting on fixed matches, with the best case scenario being your account gets frozen and you lose access to your funds. Don’t do this.
134  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Stormy Daniels Blows It on the Witness Stand, Makes Scripted Jokes in Courtroom on: May 08, 2024, 06:42:38 PM
This whole ordeal stank from the start. I actually think all this court drama & litigation is going to end up working in Trump’s favour. He’s going to look like the under-dog, somebody who has been picked on, vilified & bullied but rises to beat it all & win the Presidency.

Sure, everyone knows this court case is a farce and if the current administration is allowed to continue we’ll all be lining up to get this treatment next. He really doesn’t need it to get elected though. Biden has done so much damage to this country I don’t see how we can ever recover. Unless democrats pull another hoax at the ballot box, Trump will be elected. With how bad they’ve set the economy up, I think that’s what democrats want also. The next president is going to have to face one of the worst recessions in history if the economic problems are to be righted.
135  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Canada’s Orwellian new law proposal to jail for hate speech on: May 08, 2024, 06:38:59 PM
are there any Canadians here, it seems like you have to explain the current condition of your country

It’s pretty horrible from what I’ve read but who knows when it comes to media outlets and truth. What I have read that shocks me is that prices have gotten so bad some renters are renting out half their bed to try and make ends meet. I’m sure a lot of Canadians without good jobs are just trying to find ways to save themselves from financial ruin. Desperate lawsuits, thefts, fraud, all will surely be on the rise going forward in Canada. If only more of them held Bitcoin instead of spewing hate speech online, in the future they’d be in palaces instead of prisons.

As everyone expected the Boston Celtics got a dominant win over the Cavaliers. They're just too much better of a team. I was a bit surprised to see Dallas get beaten by so much by the Thunder. I’ve underestimated the Thunder along with everyone else all year, but I thought this would be as far as they go. If they get to round 3 I might have to start paying attention.
138  Other / Politics & Society / Canada’s Orwellian new law proposal to jail for hate speech on: May 08, 2024, 05:10:44 AM
I’m not Canadian so I don’t know how bad it has gotten up there, but I do know if nonsense like this is allowed to pass then there will be quite a few Canadians on this site rushing to delete posts. I never thought a day would come where someone in North America had to worry about going to jail because of something they posted online years ago.

I appreciated the personal message you sent to me but to be honest I wasn’t sure what you were referencing. So no worries about anything buddy. There’s no ill will here. I wish you all the success in the world and good luck to you with whatever ventures you have going on in the future. Make sure to hang onto some Bitcoin.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Browsing Old Bitcoin Forums Blows My Mind on: May 07, 2024, 09:40:31 PM
I also came across many old users that still have around like $50,000,000 in their wallets still but havent been active for years. I wonder if these wallets are abandoned.

That is interesting.  I'm sure that many of them probably are abandoned.  Maybe purposefully, or maybe the users have since died or lost their keys...  One thing is for certain though and that is there are far less BTC in circulation than is thought to exist.  Just how much less is anyone's guess, but I think it's enough to where it has a significant effect on the market cap.  A shame that early on there are so many folks who lost so many precious BTC.  I'm sure that helped establish a growing market early on though.
