I guess bankruptcy never happened in US based car manufacturers, and it will ''never'' happen to tesla and clown Elon.  Cheesy
Companies like tesla would NEVER work without government aka tax extortion money, they work with big losses all the time, but I guess we already know that.
I know how ponzi scams are working and I am telling you that tesla (and similar) are one big ponzi scams ready to explode, but they need more people paying ''deposits'', same like in China.

You sound pretty ignorant about Tesla to be completely honest. They are extremely profitable, their cash position is growing insanely fast, and they’ve reduced their debt to the point where it will likely be completely gone in the next couple years. Your Ponzi talk is clearly complete nonsense, as is the idea that Tesla needs customer deposits for financial reasons.
1122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 29, 2023, 07:12:44 AM
That was a game in Boston tonight. The Celtics almost got caught lacking as the Detroit Pistons took them into overtime. I thought they were going to beat the odds and bring and end to their losing streak but tonight wasn’t meant to be the night as they couldn’t hold on in overtime. They ended up losing 122-128 to the relief of Celtics fans.

I just read an article saying the Miami Heat were working on trade negotiations to get Kawhi Leonard from the Los Angeles Clippers.  With how well the Clippers are playing as of late I can't imagine they would want to break up the team now, unless something is going on behind the scenes.  Kawhi looks as happy as I've ever seen him lately and the team is winning a lot of games lately...  I pasted a link to the article below.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nba/nba-trade-rumors-miami-heat-negotiates-for-kawhi-leonard-with-la-clippers-potential-deal-involving-kyle-lowry-and-duncan-robinson/ar-AA1m9KXY

What do you think?  Are the Clippers ready to break up the Paul George and Kawhi Leonard experiment already?
1124  Economy / Gambling / Re: .com Bookmakers with GOOD first deposit bonus on: December 28, 2023, 07:26:15 PM
I wonder as a deposit bonus hunter using online casinos how many times have you run into issues that have prevented you withdrawing the funds? Do you think hunting these bonuses is a good use of your time? How much money have you made (if any) as opposed to how many times you’ve been stung by scams and what amount of time have you spent doing this?
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours is the best time for a gambler to last while gambling? on: December 28, 2023, 06:01:48 PM
Maybe I don’t have the longest attention span but I couldn’t imagine sitting around gambling for hours. Perhaps that’s why I mostly bet on sporting events. After 5-10 minutes playing slots I’m usually bored and ready to find something new to entertain myself. I’ve always wondered how people can sit for hours in casinos playing slots.
1126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 28, 2023, 04:50:07 PM
Right, we have witnessed Cade shredding tears if I'm not mistaken as they have lost another game. I'm not sure though if they have time to fix it, I mean just look at the body language of this players, they surely doesn't want to be in this space.

I heard a lot of fans really getting mad, even in their reddit, if you follow them they are some fans that ridicule this group that you don't want to read what this fans are saying to their team. And I guess as you have said, they are going to carry this one for years until someone erases that record.

Huge frustrations are now in side with Piston since they are now mentally in trouble because it seems they are in situation where they are so desperate on situation they are on. Losing such huge streak is so awkward especially their fans is totally ashamed on how they perform. I feel sorry for Cade but they need to step up and win their game since if they let those frustrations eat them then for sure they might continue to get a defeat. As said they also need to have good adjustment and coach have other plan to make this things work right since their play is totally a huge means and their defense is so poor and that contribute on why they encounter another defeat.

They need to find that right adjustments on both sides, nothing will change even how deep they will take these losing streaks,

they should focus on the things that they can still improve, dwelling with losses will not change anything.

Winning attitude still need inside of each players mindset, it's been a long time but still nothing is happening with this franchise, unable to create
some hypes and now a losing streak record that will be kept in the league history, something that the owner should try to work on.

They’re in a rebuild. Nobody thought they would be a good team. Similar to the Spurs. They’re stacking young talent and preparing themselves for better times ahead. Still, their losing streak does raise some concerns about whether or not this team has any future. You’d think they would get lucky once a month at least.
1127  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The greatest act of collective treason in U.S. history on: December 28, 2023, 04:03:50 PM
What’s happening at the border really is insane. I can’t believe that even democrats aren’t screaming about what is happening. Worse, they’re hoping to keep voter laws muddy with regards to voter IDs with the thought these people will vote. It’s crazy to me that these immigrants can’t vote in their own countries without ID, but they can vote here…
1128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: December 28, 2023, 04:01:40 PM
In what is probably the most overmatched game of the season so far, I like the Boston Celtics to beat the Detroit Pistons today. Maybe not even worth the time to make the bet given the odds, but if you need a win to help out your self esteem or you’re looking at getting slightly better odds on a different bet, this might be a good game to toss in.
1129  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ‘We Sold Over $100 Million of Gold During the Quarter’: Costco CFO on: December 28, 2023, 01:00:34 AM
I’m a bit surprised to read this. I don’t think I’ve seen a gold section at CostCo but in spite of living near one I don’t go there very often. I have heard friends mention that they’ve bought some silver coins though lately and I found that surprising. People are starting to figure things out and I’m sure everything will continue to snowball.
1130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MATIC or DOT? on: December 28, 2023, 12:56:15 AM
Hello,
Is MATIC better or DOT? Which one has better potential?

Thank you.

I think like other people my opinion on DOT is that I haven’t used it. I’ve seen that it pays insanely high interest on some exchanges, so that’s enough for me to not bother exploring it much. MATIC on the other hand I’ve had to purchase in order to make certain purchases of NFT and Metaverse services. I also own a few thousand MATIC.
1131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Innovation in online gambling on: December 27, 2023, 10:28:02 PM
I would like to make this topic to discuss innovations in online gambling.
Crypto gambling has brought on a lot of innovation in the scene, however some might say that in the last few years online casinos have been sticking with tried and tested strategies, not really introducing that many new games or innovations to existing ones.

So what has been your experiences with gambling recently? Have you seen any games that impressed you?
For me personally I really liked the provably fair blackjack at Stake. I wish there would be more single player card games that are also provably fair.

Gambling using sites like Stake has definitely become more polished over the years and the experience is not so different from an actual casino with some of their games.  My only gripe and it's possibly not even legal, is that gambling sites don't seem to take advantage of crypto as good as they used to.  I thought directbet.eu did it right the way they would have users send funds for specific bets and they would be paid out to a given address.  This way the casino didn't hold user funds longer than the duration of a bet and everything was transparent.  It seemed to be the best way for crypto gambling to be done online but fees and ultimately double spending scams led to it's end.
1132  Economy / Reputation / Re: A clear change in the posting pattern. on: December 27, 2023, 10:23:33 PM
This is such a strange thing to notice or be worried about.  My understanding is that the user writes long detailed posts, which for some reason made other people suspicious of them and now they're being looked at as a potentially bad user?  How does someone find the time to worry about things like this?  I could see if he was trying to scam or harassing people, but now you can become suspicious by writing detailed posts?  Seems a little bit like the FBI investigating parents that go to PTA meetings...  Maybe I'm missing something.
1133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: December 27, 2023, 10:19:28 PM
My question now is are there any moral, ethical or legal obligation to bar a person from gambling after physically observing that he is mentally unstable?

I think the problem with things like this is that it seems to involve judgement of an individual.  Who is to say if someone is mentally unstable or not?  How is this information to be obtained?  You have to watch out for slippery slopes with these sorts of things.  Maybe if a person signed some document claiming to be mentally unstable then you could have a discussion, but the idea of observing someone and determining they are mentally unstable and denying them certain things seems like a bad idea to me.
1134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jamie Dimon said he would close Bitcoin down if he was in government on: December 27, 2023, 08:24:52 PM
Shocking that rich people with control of the fiat economy are against Bitcoin. They see that it would hinder their business practices if they had to be transparent and they would also lose a great deal of power as a result. Their whole business is built on fiat and manipulating prices. Bitcoin to them is like a light be shined on a pile of cockroaches.
1135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 27, 2023, 08:22:53 PM
Bitcoin is the most salable form of money across time and space.

>>> https://twitter.com/SimplyBitcoinTV/status/1740064247953121481?t=FnIkJTXSclsifOBslPEIWQ&s=19

It certainly seems like Bitcoin was a bit of a gift for our planet in that it does seem to act as a store of value over time opposite to fiat currency. Maybe if we start traveling through space this will be a more important feature than it is now, or if people as a whole ever get their financial intelligence up. Right now most people still think Bitcoin is a scam.
1136  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will SEC delay on Spot ETF approval do to Bitcoin's price? on: December 27, 2023, 08:20:31 PM
I am not sure if all of us are aware of not as SEC has delayed their decisions on Spot ETF application but they were supposed to take the decision by now and will this delay cause any set back in price ? People were speculating that there would be a price drop before halving and that didn't happened due to ETF as it helped increasing the value and since it's been delayed now will it cause any impact for the Bitcoin price? if yes then how much would it be and will it be that way till halving?
Based on my perspective on the SEC and this ETF delay there are 3 conclusions that can be drawn.
Firstly, if it fails, it means that market sentiment towards Bitcoin will decline, resulting in the price falling, even though it is halving, the hype will not be as high as when the ETF was approved.

Second, if the Bitcoin ETF is successfully approved, of course 2 big forces will make it possible for Bitcoin to experience a high spike even before the Halving. In other words, there are 2 phases which are definitely an opportunity for holders to pay attention to these 2 moments.

Third, the SEC deliberately postponed it even though the ETF proposal was close to being hammered and wanted to damage market sentiment into uncertainty, aka floating between buyers' concerns about entering or waiting longer to determine which direction Bitcoin would move.

From the 3 points above, I personally remain on the initial path whether there is an ETF approval or not, the target towards the Halving is the point that we are waiting for. At least reflect on the previous Halving movement where ATH will be touched even if it is only a few percent difference.
It may happen that etf will be accepted, but the price will go down, because the current situation in the cryptocurrency market is a big manipulation. It is profitable for someone to keep the price high now, but later there will be an opportunity to buy cheaper, for example before halving.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see the price immediately fall after the decision as people take profits. Longer term though this will most definitely have a positive effect on Bitcoin’s price. If there is enough big money waiting on the sidelines we may even see a price spike when a decision is announced. Well have to wait another few weeks to see.
1137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: December 27, 2023, 08:18:46 PM
I think the way to play today might be a parlay against all the horrible teams in the league.
I like that idea. You get around 3.55 for parlaying the match winner of five teams, though i'm not sure if it's worth including the Clippers for the odds boost.

Even though the Rockets had a rare home loss against the Hawks, i'll always take them at odds since they're still solid at home while the Pacers continue to pile up losses on the road (going 1-4) after the in-season tournament.

I'm taking a two legged parlay,

Sacramento -6.5 against Portland + Memphis +5.5 against the Pelicans = 3.17.

Not sure though why Memphis is again the underdog in this game, or Ja Morant not playing here? He singlehandedly beat Pels with that buzzer before and they have been covering the underdog spread since Ja come back

I nearly called it right. My hometown team growing up cost it for me. I figured the Kings would for sure carry their weight against the Portland Trail Blazers but sadly I was incorrect. That would have been a nice multi-team win but you can’t get them all right. All the matchups today seem pretty even. Seems like a good day to sit on the sidelines.
1138  Economy / Goods / Re: ~ Buying a TESLA CYBERTRUCK with BITCOIN ~ on: December 27, 2023, 03:34:44 AM
Interestingly, I’m reading on Twitter that people who have multiple Cybertruck orders are getting phone calls from Tesla telling them that they have to give up one of their orders. Plenty of folks are starting to complain because they had planned to give one to their wife, etc. That might also help speed along the preorder queue.
1139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on this article? on: December 26, 2023, 11:15:20 PM
I think this is more of a short term problem than a long term problem. The block reward and rising prices should keep things afloat for a few more cycles. I would agree though that without more on chain usage or much higher fees, at some point a feedback loop of crashing hashrate due to unprofitable conditions is a possibility.
1140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should security be employed in local bet shop? on: December 26, 2023, 11:13:22 PM
I do see security in those shops in one form or another. Maybe you don’t notice them because they’re dressed in plain clothes or watching over things on a surveillance camera in a back room, but I’d be surprised if they weren’t there. I agree that these types of places could do more to keep customers safe in their parking lots though. Almost no casino cares what happens once you walk out the door.
