WOW!!!!  All this FPGA discussion is way above my head!  I remember mining dash with several desktop computers and a few laptops using CPU...before there was a graphics miner available.  then I went out in a limb and rent 24 VPN from Microsoft to mine with too.  Actually did ok for about a week....then everyone jumped on board and the difficulty went through the roof!  Sad

I toasted 3 dells on that...got them all warrantied though lol Wink.  Haven't done any mining since....is CPU even doable?

Hey AdamWhite....chill out.  You'll get your new user account banned too. Wink

Ok...another quick question....coin control...how does it function in a wallet.  As I mentioned earlier...I have a wallet address showing up twice in my wallet apparently because I sent to rounds of funds to that same wallet address.  Now I can't use that for my 14th MN as the address is not showing one 1000MN amount...but 2 separate amounts though belonging to the same wallet address...how the hell that works i'm not sure...advise?

Can't we all just get along? I would really like that.

I agree with this.

Wolf0, i'd like to say your a great example of the behavior of someone WHOS NOT a fan of our coin, of someone who's openly supporting another coin project, but still conducts himself in a respectful manner.  I applaud that sir.  Your on here drilling and grilling people about our tech in a manner that is not demeaning.   Bravo!  Your development team and supporters of your coin community could learn much from your conduct.

Rich

Do you have the Evolution whitepaper?
Better make that shit public before Miami
[/quote]

oh yeah...so you can walk around the room like a clown with stapled little pieces of paper?!?  Sir...you should be spending your money on the development of your own coin instead of on ink for you inkjet printer.  Fact is we now have, i believe, 8 FULL TIME DEVS working around the clock plus a nearly 40 person support team.  I'd be a bit concerned that your coins lack of development may leave you ummmm, looking like a doofus at this conference.

My suggestion is,  we should release that white paper at the day of the event in Miami.  Wink  That is what I'm recommending.

Anyone know why my wallet shows the same address having 2 separate amounts?

There is a simple solution...lets not engage in conversation with known habitual Trolls.  Don't responded to their thinly veiled  queries masked as "honest" questions.   Cool

ahhhh....thanks.  I'll pm you shortly.  I have one more mn to put up MN14 Wink

Is there a list made up some where of all the "stat" sites?

Hey...thanks for posting!  Just firing up 2 new masternodes in the next 15 minutes...and maybe a third new one by the end of the day.  YES!

It's quote obvious the bitcointalk moderators are fist deep involved failero coin, thats probably they reason they're deleting post by Otoh but keep posts from failero trolls visible.

I'll repost this which will explain the mods behavior.
----------------------------------------------------------
More mass deletions happening.
Yet troll comments are still up.
Interesting....

After further review, there is a fairly simple explanation.

Bitcoin Maximalism

Bitcoin Maximalism is the belief that Bitcoin is in fact the One Coin To Rule Them All.  The "first mover advantage" is strong with this one.  Bitcoin was the first crypto currency to gain world wide attention.  According to this belief, all problems within Bitcoin can be solved either internally (block size debate) or as a supplementary feature (sidechains).  The true believers of Bitcoin Maximalism must use strategies of crush and absorb when better ideas come along.  This will maintain their position for as long as possible. There are VERY large stake holders that are betting on Bitcoin.

An excellent example of this problem solving is DASH.  There are inherent weaknesses in Bitcoin that have been revealed after field testing.  Transaction speed and fungibility are easy to point out.  DASH has implemented vast improvements in these (and other) areas that Bitcoin will find challenging to absorb.  Therefore, it must be crushed.

The Mods of this forum are true believers in Bitcoin Maximalism, and they have far and away the most popular crypto forum on the Internet.  Why not use the platform to your own advantage?  Some of the best and brighest minds in the industry freely post their ideas here.  This helps Bitcoin by getting free business intelligence.  Trolling on online forums is not new, and is even worse in some corners of the web.  People who have time and money invested in Altcoin A sometimes think that trolling Altcoin B will help A succeed.  This in turn starts all out war when Alcoin B attacks Altcoin C, who in turn attacks Altcoin A.  Ask yourself who stands to gain by this activity?  The Bitcoin Maximalists of course.  The term for the army of Monero trolls congregating here is "useful idiots".

What can be done?

The initial first-mover advantage will last for a period of time, only to be replaced by the "Fast Follower".  Ford Motor Company was the first mass produced manufacturer of cars.  Within a short time, General Motors was outselling them by offering something Ford would not.  By following a stragtegy of innovation, combined with focusing on getting the word out, DASH has an excellent chance of succeeding in the Digital Cash realm.

Thanks for this... So true.

Well done dev's, going to have a crack at installing.

Hopeful one day it will be published in the store.

Love this....the other want-to-be crypto guys spend more time on bere then developing their own crypto...or working on real world solutions...LOL   hahahahaha Roll Eyes

For those not used to our awesome thread...welcome.  Please visit us at DASHTalk.org  I'll post a massive list shortly of all the trolls we have attracted.  Its actually quite amazing.   Tongue

Good sir... No we will not put you on ignore.  You and your abusive thugs/trolls will not control the narrative on our DASH communities.   Your thinly masked contempt for our superior currency and community will in the end be your undoing.   DASH talk is the forum to get real information.   Everyone knows it.   In fact I'm seriously thinking of paying for a bunch of banner ads on all of bitcointalk to point that out.  Wink

Looking forward to all the new features.  Amazing stuff going on... It's great to have our devs coding and developing and not on here wasting time.

It's great when they(devs) are quietly working away... I for one can feel the excitement build.

Can we please have a outline list of all the up coming features? Are these currently being kept quite till roll out date?
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash | First Anonymous Coin | Inventor of X11, DGW, Darksend and InstantX on: November 23, 2015, 01:01:08 AM

Nice Move~!

Looking forword to the Andriod version.

Congrats from China~!

Sorry... But I didn't find a response to my earlier query... If there was/is a similar wallet available now for Android?

It's a different DASH wallet for Android, but it's also good enough:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hashengineering.darkcoin.wallet

As far as I know Breadwallet is iPhone only, it'd be nice to have a glitsy Android wallet too but hashengineerings one works well. Both might be old-hat soon enough anyway. DAPI, No need to download an app, just browse and go Wink

I. don't know what DAPI stands for or how that will effect the wallet. Please advise.
It's a feature coming with Evolution. It's a decentralized API that will allow you to safely use the Dash network and maintain your account without hosting a wallet yourself. It other words, no need for wallets at all.

Really?  I'm wondering if I should wait to implement our payment system till  that rolls out.  On second thought...I think I read some where that this feature was not going to be ready till early spring.   We are going to need a wallet I'm assuming if we are accepting BTC...

The details are due for release at the Miami conference in January but the full rollout of Evolution is expected to take 18 months iirc, the DAPI is supposed to come early in that and apparently it's going well, Evan mentioned its turning out nice to work with a week or two ago.
Thanks Stan!

Does anyone have any info on what we are to expect with Evolution?

OK.  So... Can we please stop engaging these individuals?  That would be great.  I asked much as love talking with trolls... I really don't.

I think as a community we just need to get past these nobodies.  They will not be convinced of anything other their own retarded point of view....and frankly we have better things to discuss.   There is NOTHING that they bring up or that we retort with that has not been flung around for almost 2 years.  Same old BS...and I'm frankly tired...as I'm sure many other of you as well.

Lets rise to the occasion and just not answer them.  Let them cry and beat their chest to an empty room.

I'm more interested in helping to make and implement simpler solutions for accepting DASH, BTC and others for businesses like mine.
