People are just now catching on that Wall Street is rigged so I'm not surprised if people don't think this kind of thing go happen easy.  Just reading around the forum gives me the impression that small groups of people with the money and means could easily manipulate alt coins.  Sucks for those unaware it is possible but can be rewarding with those paying attention and keeping an open mind especially at times like these..  

I could just make myself two 5250 wallets on two VMs and do it myself... Maybe it's a work around, but that doesn't get to the bottom of it.

Can I ask what people think about white labeling Darkcoin for anyone to use?

Having been involved in sectors that deploy white labeling of financial and consumer goods, lots of different organisations love them.

How does this sort of thing work? Well, I'm glad you asked.

Take Wal-Mart. Lets say they want to get into financial services and start out with a credit card. The cheapest way for them to do that is to find a card processor and agree with them that the card processor will do all the back end work and Wal-Mart does all the card branding and marketing.

What would it mean for DRK? Well, I'm glad you asked.

Merchants of all kinds can have their own branded digital coin system, eCash, with DRK doing all the processing work and creating various bitcoin related APIs.

An example?

Lets say you have a winery.

Why not introduce a reward scheme with eCash? Every credit card transaction gets an eCashback of 0.5% through your own branded version of Darkcoin - your own branded wallet essentially (we all know a few people on Darkcointalk that could do that).  Customers can accumulate eCashback (DRK) and spend that back with you, or they can top-up their balance with fiat and buy stuff from you in your own branded version of DRK.

Now expand that to other partners in your area or sector and you have a private wine orientated currency. Customers can earn and spend in restaurants as part of your network or they can start to order things from you and your network online. Need a birthday present in a hurry? Send some private label DRK and allow the recipient to buy a case of the good stuff. Before you know it, you have a growing ecosystem built around your own eCash.

Now lets take that and apply it to any other sector.  They can all have their own branded currencies, but they are essentially able to trade across any other sector because the back end is a common currency - DRK.

We have to clarify a bit more about this decision as we see you are misreading the situation.

1. This decision is not taken due to depreciation of DRK. We would delist it while it's appreciated in the market.
2. We do not hold any cryptocoins. Instead, we exchange them instantly to create liquidity.
3. We are not an exchange but a merchant.
4. We believe in tax-free markets and support cryptocoins, in this regard, as long as they support us. "Supporting us" does not mean buying from us. There are many ways to support your merchants and having a merchant directory in your homepage (darkcoin.io) is one of them.

We have seen that altcoin communities/investors have been evaluating their coins in BTC exchanges, following pump/dump schemes, expecting their coins appreciated. In our opinion, this is a wishful thinking, given the fact that it had never succeed in altcoin scene.
Holding/trading coins solely and only on BTC exchanges simply leads to uncirculated coins and enrich exchanges a bit more which depreciates not only DRK, but other altcoins, as well. This is against the nature of decentralization.
If you would like to add value to your supported coin, you should focus on circulation and buying physical/virtual gold/silver is just one of them. Actually, turning your coins into physical goods or services that adds value would help. We are just selling physical gold and silver and we are here as a genuine supporter of Darkcoin.

I'm sick of watching small guys get run over by these f'n whales.
I love warning these guys, however can't watch all markets at once.
So for 50 DRK I will give a thorough analysis of anyone worried about their current crypto holdings.

I know... I wish I had more FIAT/BTC to jump in. Consider myself lucky to have played the risk of selling on downtrend was lucky to snatch 200 extra DRK, but no way in hell am I playing that game now with v.31 out and the fork around the corner.... THANK YOU weak hands...

The thing is, on testnet there is A HECK OF A LOT more liquidity and send/receive and  ping-pong tx more than on main net.
That is the ONLY difference. On testnet we send out/receive thousands of tDKR.

On main net, things are never so switft because we need ADOPTION !

The tech works wonderfully.

So please, do sell... dump all your coins, pleeeeease!
