Guys and gals, do not keep high POS coins on exchanges!!! You'd think this part would be a no-brainer that would go without saying...but it's clearly not when you look over the order book. Coming up on two years for TeK, supply is 21.277m coins and it's getting increasingly difficult to create more. Where's the problem? 14.35m Bitcoin in circulation and it's exponentially more difficult to mine them. It seems to be working out okay for grandpa Bitcoin. |

Also it is not good that bigger wallet can affect everyone.. then its richer are getting richer? but smaller holders get their TEK devaluated
we cant have the situation when some Exchange can manipulate the price of our coin just by locking\unlocking its wallet for POstake...

That's life. The rich always get richer. It is unfortunate to have an exchange staking... Well!! Our little crypto-coin experiment shows that all of this is wrong and can be fixed! Raising compound APY back up to 7400% isn't going to increase equality amongst TekCoin holders. The rich will continue to get richer...probably even faster as the "poor" dump their rapidly growing interest payments and the rich continue to pile up more Tek. In the fiat world equity disparity is often the result of a corrupt monetary system and bribed government officials. That is not the issue with TekCoin. The rich are getting richer here because they got in earlier(IOW risked capital sooner) and/or held longer. Neither of which is a good reason to "punish the rich". These are the folks that have been protecting the TekCoin blockchain before many ever heard of TekCoin. They're not villians, they're early adopters. Tek is on a nice steady incline in market cap, why mess with it? Don't be like goobermint mucking around trying to fix stuff. The inflation controls are doing what they were intended to do. Compound APY is still over 500%. Suggest you not fix what ain't broken. As to the issue of Cryptsy staking coins(if they are) I am 100% opposed...but then I don't understand people that leave high interest POS coins on exchanges anyway. Makes no sense whatsoever. Keep your coins in your own wallet and it won't be an issue. |

I get this condition from time to time on a win8 VM as well. The client GUI never loads, but instead displays a blank window. The only thing that seems to reliably fix the situation is a restart of the OS. The CryptoBullion(CBX) client exhibits the same behavior. getblocks 362999 to 00000000000000000000 limit 500

My last 3 staked blocks averaged 198.5893% APY with an average compound APY of 528.7466%. That's nothing to sneeze at, but it's a far cry from the numbers I saw in May of 2014(517.7730%/7410.0333%).
So basically you get about the same now by holding all year as you got by selling off your monthly interest in 2014 and only holding the principle...or at least you would if exchange rates had remained the same rather than declined. The good news is that the constricted supply should continue to lead to higher exchange rates.

You guys are awesome! Not many coins are able to get everyone together to pitch in for something mutually beneficial. I have started syncing in anticipation of full payment.
Will take a bit, as these older chains seem to. And unfortunately with vps bootstraps sometimes dont really increase the speed of sync. Thanks for getting a jump on it.  Love some of the features you worked into your Hyperstake wallet btw, my first coins mature in a couple hours. |

Or btc @ $241 that would be 0.249 btc. or You could also pay in HYP, current mid order book is around 360 sats, so that would be about 69,166 HYP. OK , everyone that wants a PressTab block explorer , PM me. we need at least 6 willing to pay $10 in BTC for the explorer. If we get more than 6 willing, then the price would be even lower than $10 of btc each. Rescan is not a console command. It's an argument to be run from a command prompt or attached to the target field on a shortcut(windows). "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\ZeitCoin\zeitcoin-qt.exe -rescan" ...actually we just had this conversation a few pages back.
