1201  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DEX : How to survive token price on launching on: October 27, 2020, 08:08:15 PM
A true bounty hunter shouldn't look behind, there is a bounty and there is a reward for that bounty and when you get the reward your ties with the bounty team is over so you are not responsibility for the price at all.

If the team wants to keep the price higher, they should constantly have some bounties, if others sell there should be more marketing to make more people buy, but if you want to give people money for their work and you also want them to think that it would go super high and should hold it, you have to find someone else then people who are willing to do few hours of work for either almost no money, or potentially a job that won't even pay. This is the reason why I keep saying that the token price launch dump is something regular for every single project and will always happen.
1202  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading in the pandemic on: October 26, 2020, 09:50:39 PM
how long will be above 12k this time?
For quite sometime and maybe forever because the worst phase in the market is already been spanned out and Bitcoin held strong during time when everything was falling so this shows signs of the future price as now the market starts getting more stable and the price of bitcoin might reach some all time high values.

the problem was last year and 5 years before we didn't face this pandemu, so of course the situation will change because it concerns global economic issues, and whether the crypto market will not be affected by this, then will history still be the same as in previous years.
The bitcoin market was indeed affected by this pandemic but gladly the price held strong and now moving nicely as the effect of the pandemic diminishes slowly but surely.
1203  Economy / Economics / Re: PayPal to allow cryptocurrency buying, selling and shopping on its network on: October 26, 2020, 05:35:23 PM
Lol Grin now they will have to agree that cryptocurrency (digital money) is inevitable, they don't want to be left behind. I knew they would eventually get into cryptocurrency, it is just with time. A lot of people have waited for a day like this ,and imagine how easy this has made things for us.

I am happy to see how we have gotten with this, and I hope to see more. Now, once this feature is released, we can easily convert our cryptocurrencies (BTC, LTC, ETH) on PayPal and then use it to buy from any platform. I hope that the fees don't kill off everything lol. Because, they will definitely be charging fees when you will be converting from one currency to another, unless there will be a difference with them.
1204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Signature campaign increase ICO credibility? I see few good ICOs recently on: October 24, 2020, 08:30:35 PM
Does Signature campaign increase ICO credibility? I see few good ICOs recently using Signature campaign to promote their private sale.

Being a newbie, I would like to know your thoughts through experience.
Actually if the ICO hires a good manager and execute it properly then there is a serious chance of both getting more attention as signature campaign are done for sole purpose of marketing and gaining attention from the community. Also it gains the trust of the investors if they pay out on time and everything goes smooth.

But that said if the project owners hire an incompetent manager, I don't want to name any so if you hire such a manager and he unfortunately messes things up then you might lose existing investors instead of gaining new ones.

If your project has potential and you do right marketing towards it then you can enjoy success but remember good marketing can kill a flawed project even faster so make sure you actually have your bases covered.
1205  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price has surpassed $12k!!! on: October 24, 2020, 07:12:10 PM
It is still going strong.

The time that we hit $11K, we can't climb at $12K and we just keep on slipping back to $10K and $11K. Right now, we didn't just break the resistance to $12K but we also went up to $13K and still sitting there proving that it might stick at that price for some time.
I am not going to sound negative but the price might come down a bit before the end of the year and stabilize around 12k for a few months as we enter the new year. I am a bit concerned that since the virus has only decreased and not even vanished yet and there is no tested vaccine either so maybe even the new year will go like this and the price might not hike by too much because it will take a long time to settle down for industries, investors, traders and even the stock market in general.

If at least BTC can hold the 10k value by the end of next year I would be really pleased and if the price goes up then obviously it will be a sweet surprise but at least it should never go below 10-11k now and that is my only expectation from BTC in the new year. Expecting less is sometimes better as you prepare for the worst and get surprised by the best.
1206  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your plans for the coming bull on: October 24, 2020, 06:42:20 PM
As sad at it is whats going on in the world right now with this scamdemic, I think covid was the best thing that could happen to bitcoin. I expect huge global civil wars in the coming future and Fiat money will go to hell. Thats the plan and thats why we have a scamdemic. The future is dark. Especially if Biden wins, they can keep going with their dark future mass control China system plans.
You sound scary and I am not sure if you actually think so or just having fun. Nice choice of worlds and I wonder why you are again Biden, I don't want to comment on politics anyways.

I am not preparing for any bull or bear runs to be clear because if one thing I have learned from past bitcoin charts and patterns is that you cannot ever predict the price no matter if things are looking bleak or looking very positive. I was expecting the price to suffer a lot this year but what happened? The price is going even stronger than before and there is no real theory that can support why it is happening so I just react based on the market movement rather than predicting or speculating it.
1207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Terror Attack Related With Bitcoin - INDIA on: October 24, 2020, 08:46:50 AM
For the first time a IS terror attack planned for execution is related to bitcoin. Couple have been arrested in Delhi, and on investigation the funding process happening through bitcoin is found. On further back tracking it was from a women from UK sending funds to the respective wallet. The attack has been planned to be executed in fourteen places at once. Already the government has been opposing the usage of cryptocurrency. Now this will be an added opportunity to stop usage of cryptocurrencies.
That Bitcoin to be used to fund terrorist activities has been one of the points that the government has used in declaring Bitcoin illegal. This has been said for a long time. But, the same Bitcoin that has been used for funding terrorist attacks, has also been used for good purposes; a country that was doing protest as of recent had their accounts blocked because of the protest and they had to use Bitcoin to keep the protest going.

So, anything that has a bad side to it also has a good side to it. But it really makes me angry when I am seeing people who are making use of bitcoin for the wrong purposes. These people needs to be severely punished for their evil plans.
1208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another shower thought about tainted bitcoins on: October 24, 2020, 08:15:22 AM
I have always thought about this too when someone mentioned that their account was locked on an exchange with them no longer having access to their funds, because it was marked as a tainted Bitcoin. This made me think of ways that we can avoid this, then the first thought that came to mind was this: we all already knows the addresses that belongs to these hackers right?

Whenever there is such money laundering activity, we check the Blockchain and we know the addresses that were used by the hackers, if we stop accepting anything from those addresses would it make any changes? The answer that came to my mind was a No, because then I remembered we have Coin mixers.

But even if we decide to stop accepting from these addresses, what if they start moving it from on address to another, are we going to continue marking those addresses or what? And there will be innocent that wouldn’t be aware and eventually receive coins from them, what are we going to do? This is really serious.
1209  Economy / Gambling / Re: SALE | LiveMines.com-The Bitcoin Minesweeper No Reg No KYC-Fast & Easy| FOR SALE on: October 24, 2020, 06:23:36 AM
Wouldn't it be risky for the old users to use the platform if it was transferred to different person? Although we all know that the site is trusted we does not know about the new possible owner of the LiveMines.com. It looks like they're still operating until now I hope they will let us know if they have sold it to someone.
But, since they have posted about their sale at least they are giving chance for users to withdraw their money if they wish and if you don't trust the new owners which is normal as new hands are never as trusted as the old ones, then you can just withdraw and wait for the casino to grow again with the new owners.

I am really glad they did not had a hidden deal and sold the casino instead they are being honest and informing upfront that they are selling which in fact might bring the selling cost a bit down as someone might have wanted the website to be owned without letting anyone knowing and that would have retained all the user base as it is.
1210  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - $1,000 Daily Race! 30% Rakeback! Advanced Dice Game🎲 2.000 Bets/s⚡ on: October 23, 2020, 09:22:34 PM
I really do not like flashbets, considering in the long run the house edge takes away from your profit one by one, it really makes no sense to rush that, I do enjoy autobet when I am tired and I just end up watching it, which is still a bit of fun but it is not too fast so I just watch it like a regular gambling but if I have the time for it I try to manually bet each time which gives me the most fun.
Flash bets are good for people who want to wager fast or apply a strategy that has a smaller base bet, because someone doing regular betting with small multiplier then it would take ages to get some decent profit and similarly ages to bust if the luck is on the other side.

Plus there are guys who are looking to wager fast and for them flash betting is actually the perfect option. For example there is a race and you are lagging behind by a small amount then you can make flash bets at small multipliers and wager quickly.

But I agree with you that for normal betting which is not meant for wagering then I also prefer the regular autobet and even manual betting because results are slow and sometimes I bet out of context like I see the last 5 numbers are below 20 in a row then I know chances are good that the next number might be easily above 50 so I bet bigger than what autobet would have made.
1211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: it seems to getting more difficult now to analyse cryptocurrency prices on: October 23, 2020, 04:19:12 PM
Cryptocurrency prices seem to be becoming more difficult to analyze now but if you have a good knowledge of the market it will be easier to make accurate predictions. The market is constantly being updated with the latest aspects of technology. change with the system market research has to be done according to the plan. the demand for crypto market is increasing than before it will be easier if you can analyze properly without stopping.
The demand is always increasing but for some reason we still see a sharp downfall which is then recovered slowly. I believe the main reason behind bearish runs is because there are some massive holders still in our community and they often sell their coins and that causes a sudden fall in the market otherwise I don't see any reason why the market should fall at all and then recover slowly.

It is next to impossible to predict the bitcoins price now days because the charts would suggest something else and the market would behave in absolutely random manner so I have stopped predicting the price and instead play with the changes to my own advantage so if the price goes up by too much, I sell some part of my coins and wait for the price to come down and buy even more BTC with the money I got from selling them at a higher price.

Indeed, the market has become very difficult to analyze and make 100 percent prediction, but nevertheless there are tools for technical analysis that will always work. Every day I monitor the guys who make daily forecasts for the price of bitcoin and they do it very well. If you are interested here can see how they do it.
I don't trust any such tools and they all are are just guessing the price because if these analysts were really good then why did they not predicted the market when it went down a couple of months ago and now when the price is going up everyone seems to be an expert.

I was never good at predicting market price for bitcoins and I always feel like it is absolutely random but I have learned something about trading and that is to buy some bitcoins when the price drops sharply and then wait for the price to move up and it eventually would move up, might take longer in some cases and once it does regain the average value you can sell the amount to recover the money you invested and for the remaining BTC you save, just hold them for future and t cost you nothing.
1212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Portfolio before and after the pandemic on: October 23, 2020, 02:44:06 PM
I think Pandemic did not affect the Crypto market so much as it has affected the other fiat markets. The Crypto market is now in a very strong position and the investors are investing with great trust and passion in the market after the pandemic.
So, did you hold your coins or not? I agree that fiat market was horribly influenced during these times but speaking honestly even the assets market and crypto market took a big toll. I don't know about others but I had to sell some bitcoins during the April month when I lost my job and I had nothing to do but the expenses did not lower down. I liquidated a part of my coins but that gave me financial strength during those times and now I have saved even more than before so I don't mind selling some earlier and although at a bad price but that was important to survive.

Some of the people I know panicked and sold all their coins when the big crater in price was caused in March but I always had a feeling like the price will go up and I ended up selling some but in April and at a better price than March.
1213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Signature campaign increase ICO credibility? I see few good ICOs recently on: October 23, 2020, 12:26:11 PM
No, signature campaign has nothing to do with cred with credibility of ICO or any projects but it will attract more users and investors and it will give the project a slight advantage over other projects in terms of filtering the project to avoid scam projects since scams projects will not run Bitcoin paid signature campaign, this is just my opinion.
I agree but then having some contest and campaigns going on bring some trust too. I given you an example, I was not aware about roobet even though I had heard about them but after they do so many giveaways and promotions I got convinced and actually started playing there and that is because of their positive activity and promotions.

Sometimes you need some promotions and campaigns to be run to get attention as well as some trust from the community. I agree that investors would always verify and check the project before investing so you must have good roadmap and team behind the project but having some campaigns/promotions always helps out.

7016.28891331-300= 6716.28891331

Mechs (aka "fuckit") Just-Dice bet was 6716.28891331 BTC larger than Wangs bet.

When was fuckit's bet placed though?

I think what RHavar is referring to is the $ amount of the bet at the time it was placed.

Crazy bet regardless!

Edit: I'm seeing now that fuckit's bet was worth approx. $800k at the time he wagered it.

7016 BTC is 7016 BTC.
Timing is more important if you ask me, someone who has wagered like a 10k bet on 2012 for example is not the same as someone who wagered 100 btc in 2020, sure it is bigger in bitcoin but bitcoin was cheap back in those days, wasn't really hard to gamble that much, I had gambled millions of dollars according to my prime-dice account for example, none of the wagers I made those days I could make today, it looks like I wagered like 80ish bitcoins when it first started, and I can say that it was mainly faucet as well, with a bit from me, 80 bitcoins is like 900k just right now, was even bigger back in 2017.

So, when you wager is a big part of the deal, and this new dude wagered like 3 million dollars, that is not really something we see any recently. I don't know when the just-dice one happened but this one was recent.

It is quite easy to get people banned in telegram, usually too easy even if you do not harass people you could get banned, I once got banned because I asked someone “How can I help you” because they were asking if anyone could help them and I pm’d them with how could I help them and they flagged me as spam, I understand there are scammers that does that but I was an official member of the team…

In any case if there is an official telegram channel for sports or anything else we could potentially have people spam others but we could also get them flagged as spam very very easily as well. So, that shouldn’t be a problem.
1216  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic: good for the bitcoin market or bad? on: October 22, 2020, 07:00:37 PM
People are working from home at this pandemic situation. A lot of people will lose job for this pandemic situation. So, people are trying to find alternative of jobs. Many people are joining with CryptoCurrency. Already we are seeing that the price of Bitcoin is increasing.
Yeah, there is also the reason that because people cannot move out they are seeking online opportunities and blockchain technology and crypto projects are on a rise because there is DeFi now that brings so many projects and gigantic amount of job opportunities even during these tough times and one thing I can proudly say is, one someone starts getting into bitcoin they never leave it. I mean even when people get their jobs back they will never stop using bitcoins.

The pandemic impact overall on bitcoins can't be stated clearly but it must be said that the positive impact was more favorable and the negative impact has already vanished if there was any possible.
1217  Economy / Economics / Re: Are online communities dead ? I can't find online communities to advertise ... on: October 22, 2020, 06:29:30 PM
what kind of online community are you looking for?
Bitcointalk is a very active online community and has the potential to serve your advertising services. You don't need to be confused to promote it. The bitcointalk forum is a forum that provides information on bitcoin and crypto and other technology issues, you only have to make posts about the services you have. several other online communities also remain, there is only need to search for it.
The thing is that while the forum is great but really the services section does not grab enough attention to get clients. I have seen so many designers and other services thread but there is not much interest but that might be because people contact them directly on their PM or mentioned telegram id. I think one needs to build the trust from community first and then they get so much work that they can't even handle.

I mean anyone who wants to purchase some services like they need a campaign manager then they will seek out for someone trusted like yahoo62278 or hampuz or some other trusted manager and that is because they have established himself for that position.
1218  Economy / Economics / Re: Why has crypto failed to break through still? on: October 22, 2020, 05:45:40 PM
Why are governments still in control of the money printing process? how has cryptocurrency failed to make a dent?
Are we as a community too scared to challenge the status quo?
How exactly do you want it to happen, do you expect those who are in support of the cryptocurrency to go public against the government and start fighting them to stop printing money and stop making use of fiat? Huh Because, I am not getting it. This is meant to be a slow process and steady, and with time we will grow a higher level than we are now.

So no rush, you can’t force it. Just be making use of cryptocurrency and do the little you can to introduce others , your friends and your families to it, and if they see it as a right thing to do, they will start making use of it.
1219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I feel sorry for the EMIREX bounty hunters $20 for 9 months of waiting on: October 21, 2020, 07:18:12 PM
It will be even more painful later if the 28th bounty payment is unlocked, the price drops drastically, the bounty hunter is to blame. The coin value is currently small and will get smaller, this is the fate that must be accepted

Bounty hunters will dump the token, because it is fast losing it's value and the exchange is not that popular I don't see any positive sign on why investors should buy this token, unfortunately, after they release the token and there is a dump I'm sure they will blame bounty hunters which should not and never the case because they invested their time and effort here they have the right to sell their share.
This is a two-edged sword type of situation because if you sell the coins then you know you are being the reason for a the downfall of the coin which you hold in good numbers but at the same time if you do not dump and other do it because you cannot control them, then the price would fall even cheaper and you wonder if holding was the right decision or not. I believe the bounty campaigns must be designed in such a way that they give only limited number of coins to the participants and don't get carried away by promising too many coins and then struggling to even maintain 25% value of the coin.

I am not sure about this particular bounty but almost every other bounty campaign is going through the same problem, paying out too big to control or if they do not pay enough they don't get enough participants.
1220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why hesitate ???? on: October 21, 2020, 06:43:33 PM
You invested in a ICO or IEO project at 1$ per token or coin and the price surge up to 3$ but because you see potential in the project you decide to hold and after few months the price goes down to 0.45$ and after four years and the token surge back to 3$, my question is why the wait?
Because the price might jump even higher if the coin actually goes to ATP after few years that shows the coin has potential and some really solid plans as it continues to recover over years which is not something we often see with altcoins at all.

You hold a coin for years just to go back to it's ATH (All Time High) ? And most times majority of coins don't go back to their ATH ever again, what could you learn from this? Never ever hesitate to take profits, even if the project is the best ever, take profits, invest again when price is down because believe me, the price will surely go down
Well, that is why no one actually holds altcoins, I don't know anyone who holds any altcoins for years apart from the few dominant altcoins. I don't know your theory but really it is not common for people to hold new coins for months, let alone years. Everyone just wants some quick profit with these coins and once they get listed everyone sell the coins which is also why coins drop in the value when initial exchange listing is done.
