1201  Economy / Speculation / Re: Find out the dangerous zone and the best point to buy BTC. on: May 23, 2019, 10:05:26 PM
It's hard to rely on this technical analysis since the market has been really unpredictable. This might only cause us confusions. It's better to have our own observation and apply the basic strategy with less complication to make firm decisions when trading.
1202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending wrong erc20 tokens on: May 23, 2019, 09:48:36 PM
In this case, it's the distributor's mistake so bounty hunter's rewards shouldn't be affected. There must be a mistake in the allocation of a certain wallet address but bounty hunters and the owner of that address shouldn't be blamed. It's actually happening in some distribution of rewards.
1203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: P2P Bitcoin Transaction on: May 23, 2019, 09:23:06 PM
If every transaction would be free and would go smoothly, then it's interesting and is good to use but I wonder why it has to be free? It's getting quite suspicious on that part. Why would you provide such service if you'll not earn from it? I'm still thinking about your purpose.
1204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Telecom giant AT&T to accept bitcoin for payment on: May 23, 2019, 09:09:19 PM
It's just an indication that even the biggest company are interested in cryptocurrency. It's an advantage for bitcoin because what we really need is adoption and it will be a big impact on the development and growth of bitcoin. Let's look forward to a lot of adoptions in the coming days.
1205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1-Month Investment: ETH? BCH? on: May 23, 2019, 08:37:33 PM
We have seen how Eth could move and deal with every market situation. As for me, it's best for both long term and short term investment. I'm not saying that BCH doesn't have that potential but Eth is just more stable than it. But if you're looking for assurance, Btc is always a good choice.
1206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India on Bitcoin: Will the Newly Elected Indian Government Pass Crypto-Friendly on: May 23, 2019, 08:02:10 PM
I'm sure that his decision is firm and nothing will change. India is one of the most influencers of crypto before so banning of crypto in this country is such a big disadvantage. However, there will still be ways for users to pursue crypto. They just have to dig deeper into the possible ways to earn.
1207  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: do technical actually work on: May 23, 2019, 07:37:00 PM
Technical analysis is helpful and effective for those who have the skills to apply and observe the market. I don't actually use it or believe in different speculations. Most of the speculators nowadays are unreliable and might just bring confusion. I would rather trade the normal way without too much complications.
1208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving: Hype to Speculate? on: May 23, 2019, 07:00:15 PM
I believe it's possible because that already happened before so I guess history could repeat itself. The halving could be the reason of a big hype but I'm not expecting too much from it. It will surely make the prices better but I don't think it could reach the expectation of others.
1209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Only 1.6% (!!!) of USD Bitcoin trading volume is real. 98.4% dollar volume fake! on: May 23, 2019, 06:50:42 PM
This has been an issue for a long time. We can see trading volume as nothing but it could really deceive traders. They're actually doing something to fake their volumes to attract investors which is bad at this point because they're causing confusion.
1210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs. Donaire WBSS Bantamweight Final on: May 23, 2019, 12:16:37 PM
I am a solid fan of Donaire too since he never stops to amaze his fans whenever he has a fight. With his strong punches and speed, he always make sure to give the viewers a fight worth watching for. This will be a good match to watch since Inoue also has a good match record with 18W-0L-16KO.
1211  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the real value of bitcoin and cryptocurrency on: May 23, 2019, 12:12:20 PM
Same as other commodities, the price of crypto is derived based on the supply and demand. The market drives the price of the cryptocurrency. Since cryptocurrency is a technology that is  new  and something that is different than how we knew currency, for investors and users, cryptocurrency can be a new alternative that we can use other than fiat. Not to mention  that it brings convenience and cuts a lot of fees rather than going thru a third party in regards to transactions such as banks, that is why cryptocurrency demand is too high and the reason why it reached it's price today.
1212  Economy / Exchanges / Re: what do you make out of Binance hack on: May 23, 2019, 12:03:38 PM
On Tuesday May 7th, 2019, Binance suffered the 6th worst cryptocurrency hack in history with around $40 million in Bitcoin stolen from the exchange.

In a statement, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao calmed the market. The hack only affected Binance’s BTC hot wallet, and no other wallets were impacted. Around 2% of Binance’s total BTC holdings were stolen.

Acting quickly and stopping all withdrawals, Binance issued a statement:

Binance will use the #SAFU fund to cover this incident in full. No user funds will be affected.

In July 2018, Binance setup a secure asset fund (SAFU) for users, allocating 10% of their received trading fees into the fund designed to act as an emergency insurance policy to protect users against losses in the event of a malicious attack.

With the news Binance is covering 100% of exchange user losses from their SAFU fund, for Bitcoin, it was back to business as usual.

Well the binance hack did not even shake the over-all market unlike the recent attacks on other exchange. Instead it pushed Binance to upgrade their whole platform and tighten their security to make sure that all their users will be safer this time around.
1213  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Hardware Wallet Hacked? on: May 23, 2019, 09:34:13 AM
Can hardware wallets like Ledger Nano be hacked and their coins stolen?

As long as you secure you pass phrase and make sure not to leave it plugged-in and active in your computer all the time, your funds in your hardware wallet will be safe.
1214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: P2P Bitcoin Transaction on: May 23, 2019, 09:28:29 AM
Hi guys, I need your feedback. We're developing a product. Sending, receiving Bitcoin internationally, getting paid in Bitcoin is always FREE, instant, and secure. You know, in a regular bitcoin wallet or service there are mining or transaction fees while sending Bitcoin. We won't charge any fee. So it's different from other services and wallets. Also, it's different from Lightning Network because it's very simple to use it. The receiver's email and the app are enough to send Bitcoin.
  • What do you think about that?
  • Would you use it? If you don't, can you explain why?
  • What features would encourage you to use this service?

I am wondering how will you make transactions be free and instant since transactions need block confirmations before reaching any wallet. You should have elaborated this.
1215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you trade? on: May 23, 2019, 09:06:12 AM
I personally don't know how to read charts, I just lurk into some channels and watch their calls. Once I spot a token or coin to buy, I buy it, set a stop-loss limit normally at -3% of the current price then I forget it. I will just check once a day what happened, if that token went up I sell when I'm satisfied with the price, if not and my stop loss is still at play, i let it run another day.

You should not really depend on signals, most of them are just created to benefit themselves and scam. You should make an effort to learn how to read charts and do technical analysis. What you are doing is risky, you are just leaving your trade with a stop-loss limit and get back to it the next day and see if you like the current price.
1216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Copyright Registrations Do Not Recognize Craig Wright as Satoshi Nakamoto on: May 23, 2019, 09:02:10 AM
So, the announcement that says U.S copyright office recognizes Craig Wright as satoshi is not really officially announced by, and it was just announced by Craig's spokesman? Unbelievable, Craig never stops to amuse me, he never stops to make an action that will make him as a clown in crypto community.  Cheesy
1217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Block Halving cout down on: May 23, 2019, 08:56:26 AM
Had been accumulating some bitcoin since the bear market started. Everyone is expecting the bull-run after the halving. I think the next halving will give a new ATH to bitcoin, let's be patient and hope the next bull-market will be massive.
1218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: sick of high fees Ive moved over to alts on: May 23, 2019, 06:59:30 AM
That's actually the struggle of most holders and it's hard to get rid of it. As the price of Bitcoin increases, the fees are also getting higher. I'm still paying those fees because I want assurance of gaining a good profit since bitcoin is profitable these days. I'm sure that same thing would happen to altcoins. When the prices increase, the fees would strike high as well.
1219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTW US Govt does NOT recognize anybody as Satoshi on: May 23, 2019, 06:30:47 AM
As for me, the pump of Bsv doesn't necessarily mean that crypto and the government agrees and supports Craig as he claims that he's Satoshi. He should actually pay for pretending and stealing the real Satoshi's identity. Satoshi has his own reason of keeping his identity in private and we should respect that.
1220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand what the miners are doing on: May 22, 2019, 11:56:35 PM
This does actually look interesting, I suggest that you re-organize your post in general I was really sure this was some type of spam  Shocked

Thank you! And my bad, I am new to sharing it. I just put the finishing touches on my site yesterday, and now I am beginning my major marketing push.

OP, I think this post best fits to be in the  Mining thread since the topic is focused in mining.

I believe that maybe some of the whales might have some mining farm, but some might be just pure early bitcoin investors who had invested a lot of money in bitcoin since it started, where bitcoin costs less than a dollar.
