1221  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam]: Fake Yearn.Finance on: October 08, 2020, 08:11:23 PM
To be honest, I would never trust any defi projects and not even the newly coming websites which follow a successful 'yet shit' project's name when trying to successfully scam innocent people. I think innocent people now need to become smart enough because nobody can be spoonfed by any of us and if they are not smart, then now or later, they will get scammed surely. We should look that almost 25% of the whole defi marketcap went out of the markets in just 24 hours. Do not visit these projects yet while you are still unclear about them. I will be making a thread soon with some major scam techniques and how these sxammers try to get investors throw their money in their projects or systems.
1222  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi.com | Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: October 08, 2020, 07:54:52 PM
We will never limit or restrict users from withdrawing their funds for any reason except, when when we have undisputable evidence a user engages in fraudulent activities and or abuse our promotions and services to illegally take advantage of the platform or a request from the gaming authorities or a court order to take such action against a specific user. Outside of these circumstances, we will never restrict any user from withdrawals.

Thank you

Are multiple accounts allowed?
I am asking this as I know about some sportsbetting websites which do not allow more than 1-2 accounts to stop misusing their bonuses and promotions. If some user from an allowed country makes 2 accounts to take advantage of a special bonus, will you allow them to do that or will both their accounts be blocked? And if they use unique VPN each time to make 2 or more accounts on the site, is there any way for you to determine whether the user is the same or not?

@betnomi, I want to be clear on this topic and I will take all the sides into consideration while asking this question - what if I'm from a restricted country but I use a VPN and if you ever ask, I give you some fake KYC details to withdraw my money from the website? How will you tackle these sort of things?

The topic might be all about the success users here in the forum but isn't it contradict with the promotion of the other campaign to the campaign you promote OP? I was just caring for it might be a conflict of interest just to inform you about my opinion.

I did not promote that campaign but used their name as an example in my post because I thought it was needed here and I am not fine with removing their name because this is what we are - free to speak here, and there was no rule in my campaign that I cannot use a name of a company or their campaign. I am neither advertising them in my signature nor promoting them, just used them as an example. If that would have been the issue, as I have also put names of some users, they might feel uncomfortable and might come and ask me to remove their names as they do not want to be 'advertised'?

Anyway, I agree with you the ... been benefited the forum for sure.

I know that there were many names which got missed but I only focused on the names which are seen mostly active. I am sorry to those whose names have been missed or not put by me.

Still I do believe hackers, scammer and fraud people with high amount of BTC without getting caught are more successful in cryptocurrency. LOL

You are right, earning money is possible through many ways including scamming someone, hacking some bank accounts and doing fraud, but earning dignity is what they did while putting their time and reputation ahead always.
1228  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion to add/pinned a clear rule in Gambling section. on: September 30, 2020, 12:37:14 PM
I think this rule/pinned post alone will not help because the mods will move them to altcoin sections which are full of spam 'mostly' and to remove the confusion, the admins should allow a new sub-board in altcoins section - Gambling (Altcoins) and Gambling Discussion (Altcoins) as these two sections will only have the projects which do not support Bitcoins and have altcoins only in their sites. It is also good if the pinned message in main gambling section contains text like - Only Bitcoin-based gambling projects allowed in this part, rest should be made under Gambling (Altcoins) section.

LoyceV ~ made it to becoming a Legendary from a newbie when merit system was already implemented.
You're wrong here, I turned Legendary the month before theymos introduced the Merit system.

I am sorry with that, I thought you started from a scratch. But nonetheless, your hard work had all it takes to make you a Legendary for 6 times rather than with those airdropped merits alone. Nobody except you did the impossible, so it is truly marvellous for members like us.

Other than that: you're welcome Smiley

I am glad you landed here to take my sincere applaud for everything you have done for us. Knowledge is something which increases if shared, and you did that. Thank you again for those remarkable and highly knowledgeable threads and posts made by you. Smiley
1230  Other / Meta / With money, comes fame. True words. A "Thank You" message inside. on: September 30, 2020, 11:09:23 AM
This thread is a type of SALUTE to those highly-occupied and well-versed people in their own areas where they shine the most. I am talking about people like LoyceV, DdmrDdmr, TheBeardedBaby, Suchmoon and many others.

But, how does that relate to the topic?
Well, can't you see there is something common between all of them? Umm.. And what is that?

Chipmixer
A classic service in its own kind, unmatchable till date and had been advertising on this forum for years now. To be honest, I don't think that it was just money that motivated these users to post superior quality posts but their hunger of helping the community with something new every single day is what brought them the fame they deserved. While there are/were some users who gained a lot of popularity through the Chipmixer campaign where this rule of 'With money, comes fame' applies, most of them have started from scratch and LoyceV, DdmrDdmr and fillippone are the three most mind-blasting examples of how they made it to becoming a Legendary from a newbie when merit system was already implemented. Chasing that rank had never been easier for them but their hard work paid them off, both via money and fame. Actually their fame is all because of their consistency in helping each and every community member in any way they can 'and let us not forget that these guys go deep down the ground to come out with a groundbreaking reply even in scam accusations area'. This is not about the merits, not the money and definitely not their fame, it is actually about their true level of hard work which made a lot of things at one place for a newbie or any rank member to just go through their posts and learn what they (newbies) lack in themselves.

P.S.: I am very much thankful for LoyceV's enormous work towards the forum and a sincere gratitude towards TryNinja's supernatural bot.
1231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people keep playing unlicensed, illegal slot machines? on: September 26, 2020, 09:54:16 PM
The reason for this may be illiteracy or less knowledge about the machines a gambler is playing those games on. Because there is nothing available in written, a gambler just get addicted to these machines' glossy glow and start playing with the intent of fun, but they never know when they get rigged already and then, they start blaming themselves for their addiction. These games addict us so much that we lose interest in real life and look for these video slot machines every now and then without even thinking about them being provably fair or not.
1232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government figures or politicians supporting Bitcoin? on: September 26, 2020, 09:44:38 PM
Going against crypto will never be in the favor (good) of politicians or governments, as they will go against people and people are - who make these politicians. They should look for some ways to stop people who rescue from taxes and save themselves from paying them, and should come up with tight regulations so that both the ends* will remain happy in the long run.

* Government and us.
1233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will $XRP be safe for long term? on: September 26, 2020, 09:20:20 PM
XRP has banks involved in it (so many big names that even they will not reveal) and it is not wrong to say that banks have also integrated XRP and it is due to the cause that XRP remains stable. Safe for long term? If you are looking for an interest rate that you get from banks, XRP can be considered but too much profits are not possible because they need to keep XRP stabilized to be in it themselves.
1234  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold Price Prediction & its impact on cryptocurrencies on: September 26, 2020, 08:59:25 PM
<<>>

are you sure the price of gold will break $ 321.54 / gram and how will it affect the crypto backed-gold currencies like GOLD stable coin

give your opinion

When a cryptocurrency is backed by Gold, I think that it should be worth the same price which Gold have/will have in the future. And to reach that price, gold will need too much money to be poured in it by the investors to let it take off. Instead, I see it going inverse and getting crashed a bit. The aggregate value of gold is much less compared to what we see in the markets, but the demand after covid-19 surged for gold and that is the only source for Gold to remain high.
1235  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Not your keys, not your Crypto – Kucoin Hacked! $150m Stolen. on: September 26, 2020, 08:53:07 PM
This is why I prefer keeping my coins with me no matter how urgent it becomes for me to trade a coin on the basis of an opportunity smelled. It is better to lose an opportunity to trade than to lose our entire capital when these 'natural disasters' take place in the crypto world. It is not a big deal to see this exchange getting hacked when we had already seen so many high volume exchanges like Binance, poloniex and even bittrex getting hacked.
1236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which casinos have IP blocks in place for restricted countries? on: September 26, 2020, 08:18:04 PM
Nice work there. Can you also do the same checks at betchain and crypto wild and see if they allow your listed countries or not? I hope the list here is not restricted to your own choices and we are allowed to request other sites to be tested.

1239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Dice Games and Yolodice . Best strategy?? on: September 25, 2020, 09:35:00 PM
Do you think a 1/2 stash bet is too high? Maybe something like 1/4 or 1/5 is safer, but the reward is low as well. What do you think about chance? Should I keep it higher than 90, or try something lower?

Keep your capital high, not your bets. They can be set low if you have a bigger capital and you can wait for your entire capital to grow to double. If you put 1/10th of your stash in a bet, then your profit per 1 successful bet (a bet that ended in profit) will be 0.1% each bet and each 100 successful bets (without any loss) will get you your 10% capital's double, and your entire capital's 1/10th in profits. But they all cannot be winning bets, or all the dice sites will go bankrupt some day.
1240  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 1000+ Slots |🎤 Live Casino |🎲 1% House Edge Dice |🏦 The Vault on: September 25, 2020, 08:28:02 PM
Yeah I looked at the live chat and the guy was claiming the dice game was rigged, apparently he lost a ton of money betting, probably more than all those winnings I just pasted. It is after all stacks of 6 TRX, not much worth in that.
--snip--

I think he just screamed because he may have placed too many bets before with less winning percentage but could not have been lucky enough to win those bets. These wins are not worth too much compared to what he may have lost in those in-between bets which were placed during 'autobetting'?
