1221  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: May 05, 2017, 03:57:11 AM
If you want a steady income go find some work that will give you salary. Expecting steady income without a risk in investment is too good to be true, every investment has it's risk. If this is too easy for everybody, everyone will be rich by now.
Thw best way to get steady is surely first to get a job and then save as much as possible. After that invest in bitcoins there is a slight risk but upto 40% return per year or just deposit in your bank and get 6% pa.
That's it, by having a job you can take part of the opportunity you can find in the crypto, if you do not have a job
you have nothing to invest and to take care of your expenses in life.

i totally agree to all of you. securing a stable and decent job is the best source for steady income. we will not worry with our monthly dues and expenses because we will receive our monthly salary. if the monthly income does not suffies the monthly expenses then thats the time we look for other sources of income/passive income.😊
1222  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: May 05, 2017, 03:52:18 AM
I always believe that gold has a big advantage over Bitcoin, of course this is purely my personal opinion. For me Bitcoin This is only a means to make money but I love real money and real jewels.

i agree with you. certainly, gold has more advantage over bitcoin because gold appraises its value unlike bitcoin it is volatile. even if we keep golds for a very long time, you will not get worry on its market value because it appraises.
1223  Economy / Speculation / Re: This bubble will pop big on: May 04, 2017, 06:32:43 PM
The price going up is the result of japan legalizing bitcoin and institutional investors coming in. I do not think it can be considered a bubble and it will not pop easily. As normal, there will be some correction period when the bull run is exhausted and the price may drop.
1224  Economy / Economics / Re: What will be the future of BITCOIN's current bullrun? on: May 04, 2017, 06:05:21 PM
This bull run just proves that a single country legalizing bitcoin have a massive effect on the price. This bull run will hit a wall soon and will have a correction period. 2000$ is only a few hundred dollars away. We may even surpass it is things continue its pattern. So if ever there are corrections on the way up, be sure to buy more bitcoins.
1225  Economy / Economics / Re: how i start a bussines with BTC on: May 04, 2017, 05:44:34 PM
Start a business as  you normally would have if you are using fiat. Then just put on your door, "We accept bitcoin". That's it. There is no difference in starting a business in fiat and in bitcoin. It is just a mode of payment, a currency.
1226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: May 04, 2017, 04:30:05 PM
San Antonio won today, I say San Antonio in 6.
They'll win one of the 2 matches in Houston and come back home 2-2, then win at home and make it 3-2. Houston's motivation and focus will be gone and they'll beat again in Houston and qualify 4-2.

Hard to say. WE have to see how spurs will adjust their rotation now that Parker is sidelined. Kawhi will need to play more hours and that will have a toll on his performance. He maybe just like a robot on the court but he will be tired somehow. This series can go either way.
1227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 04, 2017, 04:02:27 PM
I don't get it why would someone leave their jobs and spend their time on bitcoin. There is nothing there in bitcoin all a person has to do is save money he earns and invest in bitcoin and let it grow. Or you can spend some of your free time in trading then you can earn additional coins.

If you can start a good business using bitcoin, that is a good reason to leave your job. It is way better to be your own boss than an employee. In our country, at the current price of bitcoin, some signature campaign can earn you more money than the minimum pay on a day job.
1228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WTF@BTC transaction fee? on: May 04, 2017, 03:13:34 PM
You cannot make micro transactions anymore because of the high fees. It is better if you transfer higher amount to maximize the fees.

Just a few minutes back, I paid BTC0.0004 to move my BTC0.06 to one of the exchange sites. That amounts to less than one USD, and the transaction got confirmed in around 15 minutes. Nothing wrong with the transaction fee. I felt that it was the right amount.

It is possible that your transaction contains only one input so the size is small. That can still have a high sats per byte fee.
1229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: May 04, 2017, 08:54:43 AM
Well the spurs returned a big favor for there home game. The questions now is can they keep it up until the finals? maybe im sure spurs wont go down that easily.

This is expected. Spurs is really strong in their home and as you can see in the result, they really made a statement on that. Now they just have to win on the road since they lost one in home. And if parker can't play on game 3, it will be harder but still doable.
1230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is DYING, LONG LIVE THE NEW KING LTC on: May 04, 2017, 08:46:17 AM
A coin get revived from the dead and now is the king of crypto? It is yet too early to say that ltc is the new king. Any coin can say/proclaim that, but unless they achieve what bitcoin has achieved, the claim is nothing.
1231  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expectation Bitcoin Price in 2022 on: May 03, 2017, 06:32:35 PM
On a positive side, I would like bitcoin to increase in value about 1K per annum. So after 5 years, it would be 6 to 7K $. That is if current issues with high fees and long confirmation time is resolved. Otherwise, I think it will be just 500$.
1232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: May 03, 2017, 06:14:41 PM
Tonight matches

Cleveland Cavaliers - Toronto Raptors, bet is Win Raptors
San Antonio Spurs - Houston Rockets, bet is win Spurs

Think that in both games we will see after games score 1:1

I think it is safer to bet on cleveland on this. They have homecourt advantage and they are still a solid team and they have lebron.
I also will bet on spurs to win game 2. they have to make a comeback for their loss in game 1.
1233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just hypotetical and curious on: May 03, 2017, 06:03:38 PM
Governments cannot shutdown bitcoin unless they shutdown internet. If they can, those should have shutdown torrent already but they failed in that, they will also fail to shutdown bitcoin. They can ban it so there will be no exchanges in their country but totally shutting it down is almost impossible.
1234  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Japanese exchanges increasing on: May 03, 2017, 03:44:10 PM
It is just natural that bitcoin exchanges will increase in number since bitcoin is now legal in Japan. The exact number of exchanges that will launch this year is hard to predict. But more important than exchanges are the institutional investors coming in. these institutional investors will drive the price of bitcoin to new heights.
1235  Economy / Speculation / Re: The simple truth is.. on: May 03, 2017, 03:29:19 PM
Not everyone will use it anyway, so it will just be fine. And scarcity drives the price higher so benefit for bitcoin adopters. And you do not need to have a complete bitcoin. If the price keeps on going up, a few bits will be good enough someday.
1236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: May 03, 2017, 07:38:29 AM
For me, bitcoin is not money. It performs the functions of gold, payment of the system and cash. Bitcoin is something in common with what I called.
We have different understanding but for me it's money because it has a value and more valuable than fiat.
When I have a lot of bitcoins, I will think I am rich because it's money that I am holding.

If you have a lot of gold you will think you are rich as well, but gold is not money, right? It is money if you are spending it on your daily expenses. But if you are just holding it, then it just becomes an investment.
1237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as the currency of the future? on: May 03, 2017, 07:31:19 AM
You do not have to wait for the future, it is a currency right now. Japan has started it by making bitcoin legal in their country. Soon, other countries may follow as well. Institutional investors are coming in. It will be a stable currency soon.
1238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: May 03, 2017, 03:25:13 AM
Eventhough Russell Westbrook or the Oklahoma City Thunder didn't won the series for me Westbrook will be the 2016-17 NBA finals. Your thoughts or opinions?
What are you talking about? 2016-17 NBA finals MVP or what? If you mean about the MVP thing, nope, he will not be the MVP in the Finals because his team is already eliminated. Westbrook is good but championship matters for good players actually, his best chance for recognition is just to win an MVP for regular season due to his statistics, but as a basketball fan, I don't mind, I want to see who will be the Champions.
I’ll give credit where credit is due and Russell Westbrook clearly deserves credit for carrying the OKC Thunder all by his lonesome. Victor Oladipo has failed to live up to expectations of being the great support behind Westy. If Westbrook loses the MVP race to Harden, that might be his last chance to be this great as the Thunder would surely find some missing pieces that will lighten the load of Westbrook.

Oladipo was a dud. He has a higher salary than Eric Gordon and Lou Williams combined and these two proved the better supporting cast for the rockets. The Thunder management needs a lot of thinking, there are a lot of great supports than can be acquired for WestBrook but they come out short.

I think they are really good but its westbrook who always gets the spotlight. its hard to shine out when there is already an expected playmaker. Sure there are times that they are doing there best but there is still the thinking they will just support westbrook whatever they can. They are a good time but sometimes there teamwork is perceived by helping westbrook. This is just my speculation because even in playoffs he is making 3ple double so there is no question he's gonna be the MVP.

they are all good in their own right. second round of playoffs has started. lets wait and see who will make it to the finals. we are all excited. but mind you peeps, cavs will win again.😊
1239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin eventually kill Altcoin? on: May 02, 2017, 07:15:02 PM
Not because all altcoins are red today while bitcoin is surging up, doesn't mean it is that way all the time. There were times when altcoin price surges as bitcoin price goes up. It all depends on what is causing the price to go up.
1240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 02, 2017, 05:27:56 PM
What is good with alt is they can correct what bitcoin lacks in their implementation. I think, if there is an altcoin that can avoid the problems that bitcoin is facing right now, that coin can become the next bitcoin.
It would take a lot of years for any altcoin to gain what Bitcoin has now (reputation, adoption, price, etc.). I admit that there are quite a lot of great altcoins, but for me, if Bitcoin were gone for good, I would lose any interest in the digital crypto currency world.
If bitcoin were to disappear that will be an event that will be very traumatic the the world of crypto, since I’m sure many people will just keep investing and trading but there will be other people like you that will get out of crypto forever and that will not be good for the prices of all the altcoins.

We do not know that. What I know is that it is traumatic to wait a day for a transaction to confirm even when you paid a high fee and then the price suddenly plummeting or surging. We cannot control volatility but surging fees and late confirmation can be solve and they are just sitting on it. Like I said, if an altcoin can solve that, most likely people who are using crypto will shift into it.
