1241  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we experience $80k this year? on: February 17, 2023, 06:25:15 PM
THis year 80K I say this was impossible but I don't think wont happen in 2023 maybe we just see mini bull run or mini altseason but keep bitcoin in stash would be a great idea

Anything and everything is possible. 80k is very hard, but not impossible. If the demand keeps on increasing like this, then who know the price might reach 80k also. At first the main motive is to break the resistance and come out this bear market phase. If Bitcoins crosses 30k usd mark by the End of February, then there is high chances that the price will go up and we may see a new all time high price in November or December. Let’s hope for the best and most importantly don’t lose the hope.

Yes, anything can happen history may not repeat itself, and we will create new history, but the chance of that happening is too low. In addition to the 4-year cycle, the halving event, this year we also have to face inflation, and the economic crisis is still raging in many countries around the world. Therefore, it is impossible to expect a new ATH or bitcoin to hit $80k this year. I predict bitcoin can still recover to 30k-40k this year, but to reach ATH is something I dare not think of.
Yeah, probably a new ATH will happen in a few years, if the four-year cycles are to be believed. I also think bitcoin will have a consolidation and recovery this year. But maybe in the second half of the year there will be a new fall, because a new fight with inflation in the U.S. will begin. The crisis doesn't go away either, so it is hard to expect good growth from a risky asset.
1242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CBDC and Regulation discussion on: February 17, 2023, 01:48:49 PM
The only good news for me is that our nation and government is so far behind about anything technologically developed that there is absolutely no way that we would be in the first 10-20 governments that could make a CBDC, which is why I believe that we will end up with nothing to worry about just yet. Its good because crypto is allowed and that means we are going to end up with a good result in crypto world without getting any interruptions in the long run. Thats good because without CBDC or anything like that, its just pure crypto, mainly bitcoin and ethereum, that people buy into and that's much better than some shitty CBDC people may get involved with.
Once CBDC becomes widespread, it will quickly roll out to the rest of the world. This will probably be a tough time for cryptocurrency because there will be a lot of pressure on cryptocurrency because of CBDC implementation. So if governments start issuing CBDCs in the near future, we will surely be in for more shocks. But I hope that cryptocurrency will survive in the meantime.
1243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins to HODL on: February 17, 2023, 11:59:34 AM
I still have a lot of USDT in my wallet, I already have ROSE, NFTb, TRX, AXS. My question is any other altcoins that I have missed or should check out?

I think it's too brave to hold on for too long with an Altcoin which is still relatively early, in my opinion the name of the altcoin you mentioned above is somewhat foreign to my ears, it doesn't break your optimism as an investor, but have you found out more about the atlcoin, that  This altcoin will be long-term, the decision is indeed yours, but I'm just giving advice to go to a more promising altcoin, rather than the altcoins you mentioned above, indeed every life has challenges if you hesitate to try it, but if you don't mind  take a look at this altcoin.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ark/

I'm just giving you a suggestion, if you ask for an altcoin that you might have missed ARK is in my opinion good for investing in this altcoin.
It seems to me that now that the market is growing, investing in any coin will bring profits. Somewhere more, somewhere less, but in a bull market no one cares how good a project is. It even happens that a scam grows very strongly, while a technological project with good developments only grows a little. So globally it does not matter how good an altcoin is.
1244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 17, 2023, 09:27:22 AM
Pretty interesting game between Barcelona and Manchester United. The Catalonian team started the match dominating the field and had some good goal opportunities, but United managed to get out of the bad situation in the second half after scoring two goals. Rashford scored the first one and had a crucial role for the second goal. He's in real good shape right now. Barcelona still trying to do their tiki-taka style, but they had problems in defense(mostly because of Kounde). United plays quite impressive football after "the Ronaldo drama". I would bet my money for United winning in the next game on Old Trafford.
I also think Manchester United can beat Barcelona in the return game. In yesterday's game, Barcelona were lucky that they were able to equalise at the end of the match. But Manchester United played better. After this game, though, Xavi can rectify the situation by learning from past mistakes. But I think they will still lose in England.
1245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 16, 2023, 07:13:38 PM
I thought Red Bull Salzburg and Roma and Ajax and Union Berlin would be goal games, but so far Shakhtar and Manchester United have managed to score some goals in parallel games. But Manchester United got lucky with the second goal. I don't know if Barcelona can finish the game with a draw, but all the talk about them being stronger than Manchester now turned out to be fiction.
1246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 16, 2023, 12:40:15 PM
It looks like the last 16 will be the end of Club Brugge's journey in the Champions League this season. Benfica managed to beat them 2-0 and it looks like Club Brugge can't do much in this game. If you look at the match statistics, Club Brugge only managed to create 4 attempted kicks and only 1 was successful on target, that's not a good statistic at all when compared to the visitors who managed to create 14 attempts and 4 of them were towards goal and 2 managed to be goals for Benfica's victory.
I consider Brugge lucky that they could get to the 1/8 stage at all. But once it became known that they would play Benfica, the chances of them continuing to play in the Champions League disappeared. Benfica are now a very strong club and I think they can make it to the semi-finals. Their game statistics are very good, they haven't even lost two games against PSG.
1247  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC bulls back? on: February 16, 2023, 11:13:01 AM
Confidence that this is really growth and not a bull trap can do serious damage to your friends' deposits. So far it is not clear why bitcoin is rising when the US has recently released negative inflation data. I don't dispute that it could be a reversal and a real rise, but while bitcoin is still in the resistance zone, I wouldn't be so sure.
I still believe that the increase that has occurred so far is not a trap, because the increase that is present is evident from the buyers who are still very dominant in the market that makes the price of Bitcoin increase after the small correction is over. Inflation may still be an influence, but the impact for Bitcoin this year is unlikely to be that big so I wouldn't consider the price increase in Bitcoin to be a trap.
I don't think this rally was a trap either because the price is up more than 50%, but I think a bad scenario cannot be ruled out. The price is now consolidating in the resistance area. If 25k can be broken through and consolidate higher, then we can definitely talk about an uptrend continuation. You correctly noted that the volumes of buying increased. It can be considered as a positive momentum as well.
1248  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC bulls back? on: February 16, 2023, 09:07:41 AM
And hopefully, at the end of Q1, the price can get a breath of fresh air to increase to the $30k level. This will give confidence to people who still don't believe that bitcoin can rise again. If they see that bitcoin can increase and return to its last ATH, they will only realize its potential for them.
People like that are always the reason why price has big jumps (and dumps). They are the weak hands who think bitcoin will never rise again or will rise forever.
In any case ever since the momentum got slowed down, $25 target became too hard to break let alone reach the $30k. We need a big positive news to get the ball rolling again otherwise it could take much longer than Q1.
Today, the bitcoin price has finally broken through the $24k level and is close to reaching $25k. This is sure to make people who take bitcoin for granted regret not having bought bitcoin at yesterday's low price. Hopefully, this price will still increase so much that they will feel more regret for missing a good moment to buy bitcoin.

With the current pump, they should be able to open their eyes to trying to become strong hands in holding bitcoin. They must learn from this experience because they see it in front of them. Even my friends who were left behind buying at $22k and $23k expressed their disappointment at missing out on that great moment.
Confidence that this is really growth and not a bull trap can do serious damage to your friends' deposits. 1249  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for February on: February 15, 2023, 07:15:14 PM
How a month starts is very important,  in the end there are too many people who think that it will be a big deal and break out and that will be the thing they will base their investments on.

However, looking at how things are right now, I have to say that it is not looking that great, and price is nowhere near 25k but it was getting there, we have seen as high as nearly 24k if I am not wrong and that is why people ended up thinking that 25k and above will be possible since it looked like a bull run. I have to accept that I was one of those people and even 30k was possible if you asked me, but now I think it won't happen and it will be ordinary.
But still, the bull run has really happened since the beginning of this year. Bitcoin is up 50%, so now the other coins are going up as well. I think that the growth will continue, because yesterday there was negative news about inflation in the USA, but bitcoin reacted to it with growth. I think that's a good sign.
1250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 15, 2023, 06:22:37 PM
Arsenal are one of my favorite to win the Europa league this season. I’m not disputing that there are also other top favourites too like Barcelona, Manchester United too but in the playoffs one team will have to advance further from the pair so it will be either United or Barcelona so Arsenal will have a better chance after the two legs. It's been a long time since Arsenal won an European trophy it will be really nice to see them have that experience once again.
I also think Arsenal plays better than Barcelona or Manchester United. But it could be that they can't handle such a busy schedule playing well in England and the Europa League. It remains to be seen who they will play after the end of the qualifying matches. I think they'd be more comfortable playing with a weak club than getting into some other favorite like Roma, Barcelona or Monaco.
1251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 15, 2023, 12:07:12 PM
Barcelona Vs Manchester United I think Barcelona is the Favourite, because based on current form and position on the league table Barcelona is better than Manchester United, and Barcelona are also playing at home giving them the home advantage, so Barcelona is by far the favourites in this very fixture,
And when you check their head to head in camp nou you will see that they are by far favourites, but Manchester United have what it takes to cause an upset on the night and get a result they will take to old Trafford and capitalize on in the revise fixture, even if the compare the quality of players Barcelona have compared to man united Barcelona still have the advantage over man united.
Manchester United are playing much better now than at the end of last year, so I wouldn't say Barcelona are much better. Still, the English Premier League is much stronger than La Liga, where the competition is now between 4 clubs. Of course the home game makes Barcelona favourites, but I wouldn't underestimate Manchester United.
1252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero to PoS? on: February 15, 2023, 09:44:20 AM
I don't think Monero will move to POS because their team are true cypherpunks who pursue the original principles of cryptocurrency. POS coins are more centralised and that would not please Monero developers in the first place. By the way I heard that ZEC will have to move to POS. It will be interesting to see their outcome. Will they be able to maintain their anonymity.
1253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 15, 2023, 07:36:15 AM
That means mbappe was not fully recovered. That's why he got benched. The problem is PSG can do nothing in the first half. So many attacks were coming from bayern. PSG should have won the match but it seems like that PSG must accept the truth if the club must face bayern in allianz arena with the very difficult situation caused by PSG losing in aggregate against bayern. Bayern is now trying to perform the best. what a comeback from bayern.
People who have faith in bayern must got decent money from there. PSG can do nothing with all of its superstars.
Yes, another reason is PSG doesn't have a champion mentally to face Bayern even has a superstar squad. Maybe because of this reason Mbappe want to leave. As we know, it's not fast to build that mental even have alot of money, The club like PSG, Man City and others is have money to buy expensive player and build the superstar squad and maybe able to stand to local league, but it's not work when fight on Champion League where must have mentally like Bayern and Madrid.

Psg have had bad experiences in the last matches.  They got a lot of results that they didn't want and the Bayern Match was very important to fix that.  In the first half they certainly seemed to have been wiped out on the field.  In the second half, they went very well after the goal.  They scored a goal with Mbappe, but the goal was canceled because Mendes was offside before the goal.  I can't criticize Psg too much because Bayern is a strong team.  They played well in the match, but did not win.  They have to win in the rematch.
I think PSG simply played worse than Bayern objectively. Even if Mbappe had scored, the game could have been a draw. But PSG will be much more difficult to play in their next match against Bayern. They need to beat Bayern 2-0 at least. I think Bayern looked much better yesterday. They should win their home game too.
1254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 14, 2023, 06:38:10 PM
Real Sociedad managed to beat the host Espanyol in the match with a score of 2-3 and at the same time maintain their position in the standings. Statistically, Sociedad was far superior and towards the end of the match Espanyol almost equalized. In extra time, Espanyol's Leandro Cabrera received a second yellow card and had to leave the game in stoppage time, a result that was not very good for Espanyol because they had to lose one of their defenders.
Espanyol must be losing some points as well as its defender too. That was giving more disadvantage for espanyol once this club will be facing the next opponent. Real sociedad is quite consistent at this moment after it was facing difficulties to win the game. Real sociedad is a promising club after real madrid and barcelona. I saw how strong real sociedad right now even compared with atletico madrid. Real sociedad has 4 points gap against the atletico madrid. Atletico madrid was slowly climbing up  again. Atletico madrid wanna try to enter into the top 3.
Real Sociedad do indeed have more points than Atletico Madrid at the moment. Somehow it suddenly happened that they ended up in third place, although Atletico Madrid have not started to play badly now. Of their last matches, they have only lost to Real Madrid and Barcelona. The rest of the games they haven't played badly. We can say that Real Sociedad and Atletico play about the same.
1255  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC bulls back? on: February 14, 2023, 01:43:47 PM
Right now we can't say bulls are back, especially since February the price trend has continued to decline, it's natural that many say that the fantastic increase that occurred by more than 40% in January did not happen again in February but instead the trend continued to decline, of course we hope the market is soon rising again and could touch $30k in this month.
We have to wait some more because, at the moment, the bitcoin price has not been able to increase and return to $23k. But that time will come and while it hasn't come yet, we can use this moment to buy more bitcoins. An uptrend will replace the current downward trend but we must be patient and not panic.

The market will change for the better and there is no need to worry about another downturn because there is a good opportunity to increase the number of bitcoins. This trend may continue until the end of the month.
Judging by the latest negative news from the USA about the stacking ban and yesterday's statements about BUSD, we could be in for another bearish period after January's rise, which could be a correction after a long fall. It is really hard to know what to expect in February or March. Bitcoin faced resistance that it could not break.
1256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rumors that US SEC would like to ban crypto staking on: February 14, 2023, 12:53:48 PM
So it is not the Proof of stake that the US SEC that are banning but rather a feature of staking on centralized exchanges.  I wonder what trigger the SEC to restrict centralized exchanges of implementing staking program?  Did they see the staking program as a Ponzi Scheme that will give a devastating blow to late comers?
Yeah currently just the centralized service. Not sure why, I guess they just want to hit crypto. First Kraken, then Paxos. We might see more firms getting sued.

There's a video of Gary Gensler interview with Andrew Ross Sorkin a few days ago. In the interview he said:
Kraken knew how to register, others know how to register, it's just a form on our website. And if they want to offer staking, we're neutral, come in, register because investors need that disclosure.
I mean obviously, this is not the case. If registering is as easy as filling a form, Kraken would rather do that than paying millions in fines and closing down their staking service.
It seems to me that in the case of Paxos this is specially done to hurt Binance because it is Binance that issues BUSD. By the way I heard it was not an SEC initiative but a complaint from Coinbase. So maybe this is the American answer for what CZ did with FTX. Maybe now some people want to attack Binance and are looking for weaknesses.
1257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 14, 2023, 11:45:11 AM
inter milan will find it difficult to catch up on points from Napoli so it is more likely that Napoli will become champions this season. 16 points is the distance between Inter milan and Napoli in the current standings table even though Inter Milan can close the gap because they still have 1 match in week 22 of Serie A this season.
Inter Milan game against Sampdoria has already started, And I think  It is a straight win for Inter Milan because they are second and Sampdoria are 19th, with their recent form inter Milan will be winning this game with ease, Inter Milan has won four of their last five game and Sampdoria has lost four, so I don't think Sampdoria will be able come out with point in this game with the pressure inter Milan are already putting on them for the few minutes they have played so far already. So, what is your opinion about the game, do you think Inter Milan will win this game easily?

Inter Milan also failed to win against the team in the relegation zone. They can't win against Sampdoria. As a result, they cannot close the points gap with Napoli. Inter Milan is 15 points behind any Napoli. And despite being able to close the gap, Inter Milan's move to the top of the table doesn't seem possible. To reduce the gap of 15 points, Inter Milan need to win 5 more matches than Napoli. Which is almost impossible.

We saw the dominance of Inter against Sampdoria. After making a total of 25 shots, Inter's attack could not score a single goal. There is no doubt that Sampdoria's defenders and goalkeepers performed well. However, if Inter Milan were able to make their attacks more planned, they could have won this match.
I also found it strange that Inter lost such easy points in the game against Sampdoria. It's not the kind of club Inter should be playing a draw against. As for Napoli, they will probably win this season, there's probably no doubt about that. The other five clubs have roughly the same amount of points and we are still in for an interesting battle.
1258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is ok to sell your Bitcoin. on: February 14, 2023, 08:42:39 AM
In the current situation, selling is not the best option but of course, if it is really necessary to sell them, then just go.

If you are buying them at the $18,000 you are earning already, it is somewhat not a bad decision either. If you can hold it long and wait for the next bull season, it is really more profit to get. But of course, we can't simply think that it goes high continuously this time that is why we can see that some people are selling some of their Bitcoin and I know they will still use it to reinvest when the price drops back again.

One thing I understand about people trying to sell their bitcoin is that they might be in need of it either to sort out some bills that surrounds them and also wanting to do DCA this methods have help me so much, at some points I felt like selling my bitcoin was a sin little did I know that I was doing my self good after I sold, I bought back very low. But in most case when the market is on bull trends I don't advise to just sell of your bitcoin rather keep holding and watch the market to see the next price action before hitting the sell button.
You're right, it's not a good idea to sell bitcoins if you haven't had time to do so at 60k or 40k. Especially now it is dangerous to sell it when the market is not far from the bottom. The only thing left for any investor to do now is to hold. But it should be noted that the closer the bottom is, the more nervous it gets. Many people have sold just because of this and ended up losing money.
1259  Economy / Speculation / Re: Enough? on: February 13, 2023, 06:05:54 PM
"Invest with what you have now and with what you are ready to lose" is what I always keep in my mind, because no matter how much bitcoin you invest, it will still be enough as long as you hold it for a long time. And I think this will be a very good investment for you going forward. As long as you don't sell it when the price is low, you will definitely be able to make a profit in the long term. Trust me it's worth it.
That is something that really needs to be remembered well. we are in a condition where everything is full of risks when we decide we want to be in bitcoin so preparing to lose is definitely something we need to know. The problem is that with the current conditions, we are always focused on quick profits, even though things like this clearly cannot be obtained because this is not something that is instant. It's an investment so it takes time to get good feedback.

Yes, and because of that people who are impatient and want to make quick profits often lose money in the crypto market because they get impatient and panic when the market is red and they prefer to invest in obscure assets like Defi or other projects. If only they tried to invest in more popular assets like BTC or other popular cryptos and held them for a longer period of time, their chances of profiting would be much greater.
A long period of time is how long? For example, if someone bought bitcoin two years ago, his profit would be minus now. And we don't know how much longer we would have to wait to actually make any profit. I think that the main thing here is not to wait long, but to be able to buy in time and not to forget to sell later, so that the waiting did not become uncomfortably long.
1260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do casino and sports betting platform owners gamble as much as other people? on: February 13, 2023, 02:44:02 PM
I personally feel that they do. In my childhood I always wanted my dad to become shop owner so I could eat tonnes of snack for free. I think it's very similar with casino platform owners. They probably loved gambling, they always spent their life on it and probably in time they thought it could be very profitable business to own one... Its probably logical reasoning. I think they may decrease their gambling play time after they established casino. Casino owners are generally getting rich very quickly.
Maybe he plays because he has easy access to his own site but maybe not because as the owner he is already preoccupied with all kinds of developments and strategies to be able to develop gambling sites even bigger but what is certain is that gambling site owners are people who initially is a gambler and went into this business because he knew the amount of profit that could be obtained.

Maybe at start they are really a bettors and just familiarized how the sports betting or the casino runs then see the potential to earn base on the demand they see. But if we talk about they play then maybe not, since they provably think about on development side so for sure they focus their time on thinking about how their platform could grow and most provably they don't have time left to bet especially on other platform.
I'm sure the owners of the gambling sites are gamblers and regularly play or bet. It is impossible, having such a site not to start gambling. Of the latter, I can give you a good example, although it's not gambling related. After the collapse of FTX it was revealed that SBF and his girlfriend were involved in margin trading, and with users' money. I don't think it matters here whether it's a gambling site or an exchange. The point is the same.
