Good morning Bitcoinland.

Still consolidating sideways in the $3xxxx range, painting a fine pennant... currently $37108USD/$47250CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Finally got my cash yesterday and bought about a fifth of a coin. Managed to get it near yesterday's bottom at around $35.5k including fee.

I still hate banks though.

the use of the term "crypto" is one of the reasons why "crypto" is such a scammy shitshow. "crypto" is an invalid categorization which implies shitcoins belong in the same category as bitcoin.....

only bitcoin is a fair protocol that is not owned by any individual, company, state or other entity. it is owned by its users.....

either "cryptocurrency" is a valid category and only bitcoin is in it or crypto means outright scam and bitcoin does not belong in it.

Amen.

It's also like men versus animals. Yes, technically we're animals, not vegetables nor minerals.

Still, there must be some distinction between mankind and wild animals. Don't call me an animal.

Can you make calls, play games, or check Bitcoin prices with it?
I'm not 100% in favor for this watch but still I do love traditional watches more over sports watches or apple watches or whatever ...

I wasn't referring to sports or Crapple watches. I was referring to the need for watches at all. Cellphones are pretty much de rigeur in today's world and every cellphone tells you the time, updated regularly.

The only use I see for wristwatches is for decoration and I don't wear jewelry or tattoos.

Gotta love it when
A thousand dollar jump up
Raises no comments

Back in 2013 when Bitcoin was worth $37, a $1 rise or fall didn't raise any eyebrows.

Same thing.

Yup, that's the point I was making - how far we've come.

And as Arcmetal pointed out, when bitcoins are worth $370k each, $10k up or down will seem like nothing.
1264  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 18, 2021, 01:09:11 PM
Good morning Bitcoinland.

Still bouncing along in the mid-$3xxxx range... currently $37120USD/$47433CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Only 2 hours and before my bank opens and I can get my cash. If only today's little rise could have waited a few hours longer.

Did  I mention that I hate banks?

1265  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can BTC go down to <$5k again now? on: January 18, 2021, 12:51:05 AM
Don't confuse institutional investors with retail stock market gamblers. They're more like venture capitalists.

They don't buy to try to make a quick buck by selling and buying back. They buy to get in before the s-curve of adoption goes vertical and hold for the long run.
1266  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that bitcoin could hit 10 million ever? on: January 16, 2021, 06:47:56 PM
Do you think that bitcoin could have a market cap of around 200 trillion? Is it feasible?

Yes.
1267  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can BTC go down to <$5k again now? on: January 16, 2021, 04:07:57 PM
Can BTC go down to <$5k again now?

No.
1268  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will BTC go before the next leg up to 45-50k?? on: January 16, 2021, 03:55:23 PM
Of course anything can happen (back swan event) but the chance of it ever going below $30k again is extremely unlikely IMO.

We had our big correction. It may bounce around in the $35k-$40k range before going up to new highs, but eventually it will go up... way up.

I hope you didn't miss your chance to re-enter below $35k.
1269  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 15, 2021, 05:04:47 PM
Good morning Bitcoinland.

Another lovely buying opportunity lost ($34380 Stamp) and back up... currently $36155USD/$46123CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Maybe I'll get lucky and it'll still be under $40k on Monday.

* Angrily waiting for wire transfer to hit Gemini so Bob can order some fucking dip *

You and me both. For you a wire transfer, for me a bank holding my funds.

Fucking a-holes.
1270  Economy / Speculation / Re: When The Inevitable Happens With The Dump - What Will Bitcoin Be Worth? on: January 15, 2021, 02:14:00 PM
We had the dump. It went all the way down to $30k.

Next big correction probably won't occur until after we hit 6 digits. Then it might go as low as $40k-$50k rock bottom.

Institutional investors don't panic sell. Past large crashes were the result of weak-handed retail speculators. They are no longer the majority.

why number no go up?
Bawb posting no more gay memes?

Maybe we can spark him by posting something political.

How's this?

If it's not kiddie porn, drugs or money laundering, it's financing terrorist organizations like MAGA.

Crept our way back up to all top 4.

ATHs soon?
1274  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 14, 2021, 09:56:44 PM
JW's always make me laugh - ofc we're going to be chilling in the promised land with some lions and bears (where are the bulls?)

On topic: last chance to buy below $40k!

Why is everybody doing chores in the promised land, I thought that was going to be work free.

It's only Chinese, and a Black dude doing chores in a traditional European setting.  Not sure what the message is...

Get the immigrants to do all the work?
1275  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 14, 2021, 04:16:01 PM
Good morning Bitcoinland.

The bear trap has almost finished snapping shut, up over $40k ($40113 Stamp)... currently $39899USD/$50583CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Still waiting for the sleazy bank to give me my cash. Looks like I missed the Great Buying Opportunity of 2021.

Oh well, at least I earned back the million bucks I lost in that silly little dip.

I'm still gonna buy as soon as I get my cash. Moar coinz please.

Fuck the banks. Go Bitcoin go.
1276  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don’t Panic on: January 14, 2021, 03:56:18 PM
Long-term HODLers who BOUGHT BELOW $20,000 don’t care. They are comfortable.

Long-term HODLers who bought below $100 are even more comfortable... as long as they didn't do anything incredibly stupid like selling when the price hit $266 or $1100 or $19666 or $42000 (except perhaps a small amount to buy things).

Head & Shoulders my ass  Cheesy

Weak hands sell. Strong hands buy.

The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
1280  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 13, 2021, 03:09:29 PM
Good morning Bitcoinland.

The battle for $35k continues... currently $34275USD/$43610CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Still waiting for my check to clear so I can get my actual real cash and go buy some more coin. This buying opportunity won't last forever.

It's already been consolidating here for 2 days. It's bound to start going up again soon.
