Eng just lost their 3rd wicket but still they should win the game  easily.

England won the game. Kiwis played good today but England played better than them. Now I am wondering what went wrong for the Kiwis was it their bowling or batting? Their batsman put up a decent score. 150-160 is decent IMO in T-20 games. Their bowlers maybe? Except for Santner, all the bowlers had economy over 6. Their fast bowlers leaked many runs.

What a game we had and England played well and did some good batting to win the game . All batsman in England team played well and this helped the team to chase the score easily with 7 wickets remaining . A good contest overall to watch the game .
1262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your most common superstitions? on: October 30, 2019, 04:29:45 PM
We all have our own superstition, it will not do harm if we have one from all our actions, it is part of our belief that powerful hands are behind  on all the things that we do, these superstitions sometimes has an impact on the mind of the believer, mine is a mantra I will always believe that I will win and sometimes wearing a specific color can help its part of our lives and these superstitions have been to us from generation.

Actually superstition beliefs harm us lol. Like, as we perform those actions, we kind of acquire a false sense of security that we will win. And it makes us vulnerable and we are destined to lose more because we don't play with caution rather play without risk.

This may be people perception or their belief that doing certain thing in a certain way helps them. Have seen quite a few people doing it as they think this help them to win or luck goes by their side of they do it in A similar fashion .
1263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the discipline help in gambling? on: October 30, 2019, 04:24:08 PM
a strong character knows how to accept defeat whether if its small or huge  . strong character does not limit himself to gamble because if he do that , that will only make him afraid to loose or weak when it comes to risking himself on playing a gambling  .

discipline i think dont help too much in gambling because itll wont make you win when you wanted to win big because you are controlling yourself to bet more or to bet big   .
I also don't really understand why discipline can help you in gambling because when you play gambling, you only determine your victory or defeat when you start. the thing that might really help you in this regard is your readiness in losing your assets  Tongue
You should learn to be a Gambler first before commenting such stupid message, why not try to read at least few post above you to find what others says and you might find ideas about what discipline can do for a gamblers success or failure

It won’t make you win ,but it will help you also to lose small amount if you know how to manage and being disciplined

This is very effective way when you have to be in controlled and self discipline way and this would also ensure that you are always in limits as it is very easy to lose money rather than making money that easily as gambling is really addictive .
1264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crowded Casinos - Play or not? on: October 30, 2019, 06:23:25 AM
I’ve been to Macau a few times and boy that was some experience I’m sure I don’t want to miss. I don’t know but I find it comforting that some other people are losing way more money than I do and I could feed on their frustrations to make myself better even though I just lost a couple grand on the blackjack tables. Some people might find a crowded gambling house uncomfortable but I enjoyed it, since it helped me feel good even though I’m about to crap myself from losing a lot.

You took even the sad thing in the right spirit considering that people lose more money than you do and it actually helped you in a way that you did not took too much stress about the lost money and was okay about it . Also some are just not comfortable with too much crowd and others are just fine about it .
1265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Money is Dirty Money on: October 30, 2019, 05:25:30 AM
Gambling money is not dirty money, simply because you work hard for it! Just think of trading, when you are going to win in trading there is someone that is going to lose, is it dirty money? no! Gambling is just like trading but there's no analysis just pure 100% luck. Gambling money is something that you win by risk, it's just gonna be dirty money if you win it dirty for example you cheat on the game, that is what you call dirty money, but as long you are playing fair it will never be considered as dirty money.

I think country which has made it illegal and still of some one gambles or make money out of it or may be religion has banned it and you do it might consider as a dirty money else it is not a dirty money as you wood be paying taxes in your country on the money .
1266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: October 29, 2019, 04:29:17 PM
Luck loves those who come not to earn money, but to have a good time. I've noticed it many times.
We can not make any predictions when the luck is coming, isn't it?
But you're right, the winner only for who has good time for playing, and the loser only for who rush playing for win.

A good thing or a good habbit is that if you are gambling, play for fun and entertainment and in this if luck favours you it will be a huge bonus as you will get money as well for the enjoyment you had while gambling which will be nothing less than a great dream .

1268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the Faith of Casino business owners? on: October 29, 2019, 05:33:16 AM
I think Bangladesh is an Islamic country so gambling is basically haram in their religion so making them as illegal activity in their country is not an surprising so if there is any active gambling site or company then its better to somewhere where is is more welcomed.

If any religion does not encourages or its a sin then people in that country would be least into gambling and it would be illegal as well in such countries . Well so if any sites or casinos being setup then response would be very less from such places .
1269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 3 on: October 29, 2019, 05:17:43 AM
It's site's fault actually, but I would ask to admin first what's this money on my account, after that, he must be transferred my money to the right winner (if he can't do that, i would send the money back since i'm not the owner of that money)

The question itself is so lucrative that you actually go back and think you have won the lottery or got a whole lot of money . First thing is to check what is the reason of the money is it meant to be mine or somebody else and how did it got transferred to mine then . Secondly will ask if certain portion as a good gesture can be allotted to me and rest would be transferred back .
1270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celebrities you probably don't know were(are) aggressive gamblers on: October 28, 2019, 05:24:34 PM
Honestly, I don't even know all these celebrities. And to his surprise again, it turns out that there are gamblers from celebrities who are aggressive in playing gambling. Are only 4 celebrities mentioned @OP who play gambling?

Some of the names even I am not aware and some of them dint heard or did not know to be precise that they were aggressive gamblers but yes it’s their life and they have money to play and even if they lose it would not make much of a difference to them .
1271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Donating the Gambling profits on: October 28, 2019, 05:58:59 AM
Have you ever thought of donating the gambling profits to a charitable cause ?  Sometime people won a big lottery or very high amount of money from betting & gambling games.  Do you ever thought of being generous and helping the poor with this money ?

Have never win big to really donate some, but why not. If I win a lottery one day, I would first like to get my life on track, give some to my parents , help my brother with his studies and then if i am left with any, I wont mind donating it for a charitable cause. Good deeds never hurts and also gets back your good karma !

Only if someone wins big can actually think about donating it or else generally people calculate that out of the past losses which they incur and the amount if they have won now still how much losses they need to recover or have they become a positive balance sheet and decide accordingly.

1272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: October 28, 2019, 05:44:38 AM
For me, living a life through gambling isn't possible. But it depends upon the platform where gamblers bet. Mostly a trick can be catch by those gamblers that is too observant on the other hand, there are those gambling platforms that have a really fair systems. But for a person to trust his life with a 50/50 chance isn't good. they still need another income if bad fate happens.

Out of 1000, I think only few or very less people could make a living out of gambling and can survive just based on the money earned from gambling. Else it is not at all advisable to be dependent on the gambling money because in a day or two people can lose their earned money if they are too addictive to it.
1273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 27, 2019, 05:44:38 PM
The players were demanding a rise of 300% (from 35,000 taka per match to 100,000 taka). I am not sure how much they got. But I have a feeling that they are asking for too much. In India, the Ranji trophy players are being paid ₹140,000 for every four-day match. The Bangladeshi players are asking for similar salary... and I don't know whether the board can afford that.

All depends upon the board and their willingness to pay for the players . I think if they want quality  and a good team then they will have to pay the best to their players who can serve their country the best and also help them to make a good living out of it .
1274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst Day of My LIFE - Dice on: October 27, 2019, 03:57:56 PM
Like what other people do, gambling with loan money. I think no more that you can do except get the money back as long it is not from gambling anymore. Maybe with your sentences, you already do a mistake, but will be good if people read about this too. Sorry for your loss.

Well most gamblers expect that they can win big money in gambling that is why they dared to borrow money from a friend or someone but unfortunately, most of them failed and lost instead. Borrowing money just to gamble should be the last thing a person should do or he will be like OP or maybe worst.

First mistake in the gambling is that borrowing the money and then gambling is the strict no no. Maximum chances is that the result will be the loss of money and you would not be able to repay this debt which will need more debt to repay the already existing loan taken.

1275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 27, 2019, 03:41:21 PM
A one sided match we had seen in this first T20 match and all the top order batsman made min 50 and this has boosted the opening of the series and for the OZ specially. SL would like to break the opening stand quickly in the second match else they would lose the match again.
I missed the match and the sad part is that we will not be getting good odds in the upcoming matches because the Australians dominated the entire match with bat and ball and looking at the score board it looks like a club team facing a top team, the Australian bowlers destroyed them without giving away any free runs and i am yet to watch the highlights.

It is true that now odds will not be a good one but more concerned is that SL team would be demotivated with the kind of loss they had and now they will need to recover and bounce back if they want to make any impact in the series.

(Not my picture, I was not able to take my own picture.)

My first time to travel abroad and my destination was in Macau, a great city to gamble.  Cheesy
Well, my first impression is that, they have the best architecture and great casinos, the "Studio City, Grand Lisboa, Parisian and the Venetian" to name a few was a great place to have fun and relax.

But honestly, I was shock seeing a crowded casinos which literally make me think to play or not considering I go there during weekdays at the morning.
Venetian is the most crowded casinos I've ever been, maybe because of their tourist spot and shopping store but the crowd is same on the inside of the casino.

I don't have much time to gamble, and I'm thinking if those gamblers is really there to have fun or to earn money after all?
I can't just imagine to have fun at the huge crowd, and so many people around you at the poker table.

Is it worth to play? or the crowd and the noise around you will just add to your stress?
Will you play on a crowded casinos? or just play online?

(VIP's might have the separate room and a more solemn room, I don't know but let's talk about the general here. Smiley )

Certainly depends on an individual for going for crowded casinos or not. A disciplined player might be able to handle to the excitement of the such casinos, the noise , the music, the chit chatters whereas a amateur might succumb to the situation , get anxious if losing and might make not soo vice decisions. More crowd certainly means various kinds of tables, opportunity for multi level buy ins and also chance to learn plays from others.

At times if you see out of the above crowd not 50% would be indulge in gambling. Either they have come with somebody and want to just enjoy or have already played and lost money and just want to see or may be occasionally they may play.  But yes not many could be comfortable in such crowd or can concentrate to play.
1278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: October 26, 2019, 05:24:36 PM
For some reason this bet is very difficult for me to do.
I do not really understand about politics in the world except in the local area, it's just how to work on this political stakes. I want to try, but where to start. And one more thing, if you bet. Are fellow users or gambling sites available.

It's not really that hard though as it mostly involves in you betting for a candidate who you think will win.
One site I know that does it right is https://www.betfair.com/sport/politics  it works mostly for country like the UK and USA.
However, you need to ask yourself if you really want to do it. I feel politics betting is easily manipulated though.

It can be a manipulated one as many things depend upon money and more you give higher the chances that people might even vote for them . Or with some settings and have some power they can change the result as well though not always possible but in some countries it might be possible .
1279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crowded Casinos - Play or not? on: October 26, 2019, 02:14:41 PM
I hate playing at a crowded casino with 1001+ distractions, and where I have to push in between gamblers to place a bet on the Roulette table. I don't mind being there if I'm not playing and am just walking around observing the games. Crowded casinos are also a safety hazard because it's hard to tell if someone is watching you and might follow you and rob you in the car park afterwards.

While I hate playing in a crowded casino too the fact is that you may be able to win.I mean if a lot of people are playing at a certain slot and they all end up with losing a lot of money if you play right after them chances are that the machine will give back some money and you may be a lucky winner. This theory is not proved though and is just a gamble itself.

If some one wants to enjoy the game and require the peace, then this is not the place where they could enjoy it. And someone just want to make money and if they consider it as a lucky then crowd will not matter much to them till the time they can make money.

Sourav Ganguly became the chief of BCCI. I'm so happy after such a long time.

He has changed the way India team use to play cricket before his leadership and after he became captain India started to win the test matches and series abroad as well and he has supported his team mates and got the best from them. Hopefully he will continue as a chief of BCCI too.
