1281  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Secret of success in futures trading on: January 17, 2023, 08:11:28 PM
I want to think that there are many secrets to success in futures trading. And these secrets are borne out of the experience of the individual and others. However, just like anything else, success at any venture is not a coincidence and doesn't happen overnight.

For one to experience success in trading the individual must first be grounded in the knowledge of 3 core concepts. They are trend, momentum and volatility.
1282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is ok to sell your Bitcoin. on: January 17, 2023, 07:45:25 PM
So my question is:
~ Do people hodl just because others are HODLing?
~ Why do people hodl rather than sell and buy again when low
~ What is your major reason for HODLing and how do your survive the bear market?
Holding for me is profitable. However, I won't hold if it crashes to 90%. Thank goodness the market is showing some improvements. I do not plan on holding forever. When it reaches a price that I have set for myself,
I will take out a small percentage and maybe buy a car or do something nice for myself with it. I already have some sort of plan in me with holding. Whatever it is the plan is to take profit.

You know what will attract people and create awareness? Change your name to Bitcoin. Get a court document that legalizes it. Then wait for news outlets to have the headline "Man love's Bitcoin so much that he changed his name to Bitcoin."

Anyways, joke aside create awareness in whatever way you want but do not bring your kid into it. Please.
1284  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe to buy now? on: January 16, 2023, 04:07:21 PM
I observed that the cryptocurrency market is a kind of green at the moment, but as a beginner, I still find it difficult to tell when the market is actually bullish. I will appreciate any advice from fellow community members concerning this current situation because I'm considering to buy some coins but finding it difficult to decide on which coin to give a trail.

Just a kind advice, the risk is mine.

My first counsel to you is to buy only bitcoin. Focus on it and forget all others until you understand the crypto ecosystem very well.
The second counsel is to use the money you can afford to lose to buy it.
The third counsel is since you are a beginner, buy and hold.

My fourth counsel is that once you buy it, move it out of centralized exchanges into a cold storage wallet. Remember; Not your keys, not your coins.

That's all I have got for now.
Goodluck.
1285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 16, 2023, 03:26:08 PM
Roma can still dominate the victory when they play against Fiorentina but in that match, I think Roma are still playing too slowly. Because even though Roma have excelled in the number of players and won 1-0 in the first half, Roma still reduced their aggressiveness in the second half.
The battleship of Mourinho is now on a triumphal march towards the Scudetto, well deserved among other things. No one in Italy, but what am I saying, in Europe, can boast such a modern, overflowing, exciting game system.

As far as Fiorentina is concerned, however, it is a very simple setback in a year that is still giving enormous satisfaction to the fans of Florence, and if the predictions come true as it seems certain,
the most prestigious stages in the world will soon have a constant presence dressed in purple. Congratulations to the contenders, Serie B awaits you.
1286  Economy / Economics / Re: More Money Problems that Bitcoin Solves on: January 16, 2023, 03:05:54 PM
Bitcoin is frequently misunderstood to be an inflation hedge. In fact, it serves as a safeguard against currency depreciation.
Although more bitcoins cannot be created, the huge price swings are just a result of this absence of fundamental worth technically speaking,
and these values are heavily controlled by the large holders, something that US authorities admitted when they rejected ETFs in spot bitcoin.

Therefore, the smart money responds quickly when the Fed tries to combat inflation by tightening the money supply rather than by cooling the demand bubble.
1287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A good way to promote Bitcoin or not? on: January 16, 2023, 02:39:33 PM
Then I will give my answer and see if any people become more interested in it, some have heard about it but they have a wrong perspective of what Bitcoin is leading to believe it's a scam.  What do you think?
Incorporating bitcoin as a payment method into your company is always a smart move. In actuality, it's the modest part you can play in spreading awareness of and encouraging the use of bitcoin.
I advise you to thoroughly plan it out and attempt to test out a few of your potential ideas. Here is an idea: you could have a screen or banner that provides information on the investing in bitcoin and how one can get involved and use it for payment of goods or services where it is accepted.
1288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 16, 2023, 02:17:34 PM
Arsenal again gets impressive results, so it can be said that their performance is very consistent, and they are really strong candidates to win the Premier League this season.
Ramsdale deserves praise because without his outstanding goal saves, this game may have easily ended in a draw. Arsenal needs to work on their defense. They need to play as a team and improve their communication.
The majority of this season's goals have been scored by the opponents is due to communication errors. Hugo Lloris of Tottenham was mesmerized by Odegaard's brilliant shot from outside.

1290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: January 15, 2023, 09:59:01 PM
I think sport betting will be too complicated for the AI to bet on because there are numerous types of betting. Even at that, it would require a techie to be able to configure the model to make predictions.
I have never used it though, so I am just assuming that these are the likely drawbacks for using AI for prediction.
1291  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: copytrading on: January 15, 2023, 09:41:20 PM
According to my own observations, when I copy the trades of experts, they end up losing more than 50% of my trades.
Personally, I like to trade alone.
The exoert traders use extremely high leverage when trading short-term, and if you use a stop loss of at least 50%, you simply cannot complete their trades with your money still in tact. I find this too risky for my liking. I'm still not ready to take the risk of copy trading.
1292  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: January 15, 2023, 09:01:46 PM
A side job actually makes life comfortable. A side job is like a two-factor-authentication. A side job protects you from raining days. It gives you confidence and hope that the next meal is assured in this inflation driven economy.
I can go on and on about the benefits of a side job, but I will stop here for now. A job is a sure way to financial stability, but it is dependent on how financially prudent you are.
1293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keep your emotions balanced especially regarding Bitcoin on: January 15, 2023, 08:52:01 PM
The price is not so much of a concern to me as I stopped being bothered by it sometime ago. I focus my energy and emotions on some other profitable stuff going on in the crypto world.
I saw that there has been a pump in price. This is good but I am still indifferent to it. Because once you do, you become a pawn in their invisible game.

1295  Economy / Economics / Re: Every passing year seems progressively worse on: January 14, 2023, 08:50:58 PM
We're now entering 2023, and things aren't looking any better. Inflation keeps worsening, energy and oil prices are extremely volatile, while in our case in Greece and Italy, despite MWH being the cheapest it has been since the invasion, we're holding the record for the most expensive energy prices.

On top of that, a few days before 2023, half of the U.S.A. is suffering a terrible blizzard, with temperatures even reaching as low as -50C. Climate change is real, and it's only going to get worse in the following years.

I'm not sure if everything has gone downhill in the past few years or if I'm overexaggerating and making it sound worse than it really is. Perhaps my sitting all alone in my bed on New Year's Eve isn't helping.

Anyway, happy new year to everyone and good luck on your bitcoin endeavors!
I witness it occurring. Decade after decade, year after year. People become more reliant on technology as society develops through technological advancement dehumanized.
Being born in 1970 and having spent my formative years in the 1970s, the best decade ever, makes me very thankful.
Even the 1980s weren't all that horrible. However, things have only gotten worse since then.
1296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 14, 2023, 08:33:27 PM
Manchester City could not score because Manchester United did not give them a chance to score. They applied the same pressure that Manchester city usually applies when they play other teams and it paid off. Manchester United will have a shot at winning the title if the leaders of the league loss tomorrow. Another result that is shocking is that of Liverpool that lost to a team no one expected could win them. Liverpool and Chelsea are not having a great season.
Even though Manchester United won the game in the second half, the first half was the most memorable to me. Clear game play, fluid transitions, and accurate passing were used to find weaknesses in the City defense.
Both Casemiro and Fred were excellent. wonderful pushing and defense. In the final minutes, Manchester United's players gave City very little opportunities and took the strain in defense.
1297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 14, 2023, 08:15:34 PM
Sevilla are a big club in the Spanish league and it is so disappointing how they have declined this season, talking about team performance and getting good results. I read they are sitting somewhere around if not 17th position and I keep wondering how it got so bad but I am still believing things can change. They will try to boost their morale with a victory against Girona. I am hoping they will not let me down this time.
This Sevilla reeks of Second since the League began. I already warned and many around here called me exaggerated.
And the worst thing is that it seems that the board does not care, a single signing in winter with the team risking its life. Shameful. By the way, Nianzou's boot-twister cost 20 million.
All the work done in recent years, with several Champions classifications in a row, thrown away in a few months.
1298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Times when I visit casinos Versus When I don't on: January 14, 2023, 07:44:53 PM
I learned my lesson the hard way. Gambled to get my mind off a personal issue.
Didn't care if I won or lost I just wanted to pass time and forget about my sorrows. I deep hands into funds budgeted for something else and didn't care about anything.
Little did I know that I was making matters worse for myself. I lost a lot of money. And when I signed out, I was felt much worse than when I signed in.
1299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 14, 2023, 04:07:48 PM
Yesterday's match Napoli Vs Juventus confirmed several theses. Napoli are as strong as ever and if they don't win the Italian championship this season, it will be a big surprise for me. Juventus, in turn, in recent matches recorded better results than the form of the team would indicate and with a stronger opponent than Cremonese or Udinese, it was impossible to hide it. In today's matches, I bet on the victory of both teams from Milan.
Juventus loss was quite obvious from the start. In the starting lineup, there was no rabiot , mckennie , and Milik.
How did they even expect to go against a team like Napoli and expect to win with the aforementioned players missing?
No doubt, Napoli win go on to eventually win the Serie A and Champion's league.
Hoping to see more magic from Kvara, Osimhen, and  Kim Minjae in their coming games.
1300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 13, 2023, 06:06:01 PM
Sevilla's performance this time was unexpected, because they were unable to keep up with matches in La Liga, even though last season Sevilla was a team to be reckoned with and became a competitor to Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. Even in the 2020-2021 season Sevilla managed to finish in the top four of the standings and became a strong club at that time.
La Liga fans will be more than disappointed with Sevilla's for this season.
They are currently in the 17th position on the table and struggling. The manager should advantage of the transfer window to remove players that are holding the club back and sing in top quality players that would restore the glory of the club. If they do this, then we have hope that their position on the table may improve maybe they may end up in top 10.
