Wow Lavine garner 49 points on winning their game against Charlotte Hornets. He is also the saviour of their team as 0.8 seconds left on the fourth quarter and he shot a 3 points withot a miss giving them final score of 116-115.
What a spectacular to end the game Shocked. This only prove us that he can carry this legendary team. Hmm, though not as close as MJ or even D. Rose could do on their prime days but still he can. He is still young and can show more.
Now he is also recorded on top players like Thompson and Curry to make a 13 shots beyond the arc. Out of 17, 13 shot beyond the arc was hit by Lavine. Now Bulls having a record of 6-11, you think they can still make it on the finals?
Nice one! I never wondered that he is also a sharp shooter because I thought that he was only good at dunking. Seems there is a new killer 3 pointer in the league huh? Curry and Harris should watch out from now on Grin.

No point in even thinking about this award until Zion steps onto the hardwood.

ROTY is based on stats so every game counts. Zion didn't play any single game this season giving advantage to those other rookies to gained stats while he is out.

Zion is expected to be back in mid-December but that was just an ETA. If that won't happened, it will be difficult for him to catch up in the NBA ROTY award even he will average 30+ per game (although not likely) once he came back as his closed competitors also giving good numbers per game.
I am not a Zion fan though so maybe I will also vote for Ja Morant.
Still early to predict the Rookie of the Year but my bet from the very beginning was on Zion. However, he already missed a lot of games thus the rookies from other teams were already ahead of him which leads him to got slim chance of getting the title. Well, it was just an award afterall. Gaining this or not, it will not secure them for good throughout their whole NBA career Cheesy. Consistent hardwork (whether you are up or down) still what matters the most.

In this case, I am now also going with Morant. They almost win in their game against Lakers, almost but not quite! Nonetheless props to this rookie, he did great!
1303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 23, 2019, 12:14:40 PM
Psh, it was just a rumor so I don't believe until it was proven Roll Eyes. Yeah! Arwin did horrible that's why he got a suspension BUT I don't think SMB corp. could afford to trade this superstar despite of his seldom "trouble maker" attitude. He is good in the hard court, cocky but definitely got a nice showmanship especially when he do his Spiderman act lol.

On the other hand, I'm no longer interested to Barney's ah I mean Greg's comeback from his injury because every time I watched him play with Ginebra something's went wrong. Ginebra is already good without him. I think maybe because of his slow pace? His short jumps which result to less rebounding? What are your thoughts? Anyway, what really caught my attention is when I heard that Dillinger finally recovered! Shocked I hope he can now play in the quarter finals.
1304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 23, 2019, 09:08:50 AM
I will share my opinion to these matchups.

Meralco Bolts Vs. Alaska Aces
Nobody expected that the Aces will clinch the playoffs with their sloppy start but they did good in their last games and now they are in the playoffs and will face Meralco who is playing differently with Allen Durham in their roster and they also have a solid big guy in Almazan.

I don't know how they will stop these twin towers of Meralco since Alaska doesn't have a player who has the same height as Almazan has. I'm not saying that Aces doesn't have a chance to win here but for me, it will be a 80-20 in favor of Bolts. This will be a easy game for them.
Honestly, I don't know also how Alaska gonna stop the 2nd Ranked team in this conference. Just hearing the word "2nd" can already shaken up your knees Grin. But well, the possibilities are still there even it was the slightest. If they able to survive on the elimination round then why not on this playoffs? They should just dream big and believe on their strength (despite of losing Bachero). Like the old saying, "Bilog ang bola".
When they match up this conference, Ginebra won by 5 points I think so they have a higher chance to win for me and also the current roster of SMB aren't playing since 3 of their players are suspended indefinitely and their import isn't playing well too (I mean he isn't playing as much as the other imports are playing). We know how SMB plays in the playoffs. They are on a different level when it comes to playoffs so this will be a close game. I'm a SMB fan but I will go 50-50 to this matchup Cheesy
The loss of their 3 players really hurts the team but they should consider their selves lucky because at least they just lose a single significant player, which is Arwind Santos. No offense for disregarding Tubid and Nabong but we all knew that they are not as important as Santos did. I hope you get my point Smiley.

Let's see how a broken SMB will handle the solid and getting stronger GSM. I know they got the experience in handling this kind crucial situations but a loss is a loss — it is a thing you cannot ignore into your considerations. So for me I'll vote in favor of GSM, 60-50.

1306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, do you guys think cryptocurrencies will be gone anytime soon? on: November 22, 2019, 11:39:21 PM
Maybe in your thought this year isn't that prosperous, but I personally felt this year to be more pleasant. In simple the growth in the market and the price compared to the starting months of the year to the present it has got a big difference. In this manner the ongoing year is prosperous.
I felt  little lame this year simply because our beloved btc still not reach its previous ATH or much better if it exceeds Sad. Am I the only one feeling upset because of that? I don't think so, I knew that many of us here are hodlers who are only depending on big events like this. But in all fairness, I can still see silver linings. Imagine, this year got less drama. The market has a stable price though its lower than last 2017 but at least we are no longer experiencing a roller coaster type of market because that's very stressful to be honest Cheesy.
1307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, do you guys think cryptocurrencies will be gone anytime soon? on: November 22, 2019, 04:18:47 PM
I haven't been trading my bitcoins and cryptos since this year begins, but I have noticed that the hype train is slowing down since then, compared to last year. I want some honest opinion about the future outlook of BTC or crypto per se. Should investors invest in it ?
Surely the bitcoin market price will go down in the coming months until next year there is so much resistance in the bitcoin price in 9k$-10k$ surely it will continue to go down.
Uh uh uh! Be uncertain mate because we all knew that the next bitcoin halving will happen next year and we anticipate that it will be a great factor for bitcoin rocket to launch once again Cheesy. But I agree to you tin the part that you said that bitcoin will remain in the $9k - $10k for the last few months of this year. Actually I'm no longer expecting that it will reach $15k at least. This year is not so prosperous for all of us, better luck next year I guess Grin.
1308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your best investment in crypto since 2018 on: November 22, 2019, 04:37:36 AM
Hello Bitcointalkers,
What is your best investment in the crypto space since 2018? As the 2019 year is ending, so, we can have a discussion about it. For me, my best investment was the Counting House ICO in 2018. The sale price was 1100 CHT token for 1 Ethereum and later it's price hit more than 3 USD per coin. I am still finding a project like Counting House, but haven't seen yet.
Good for you mate for picking a right token. Me? I already stop investing to alt after I failed on Electroneum (that's year 2017 as far as I remember)  and just focused on bitcoin. Hmm, I also tried to invest on eth last year but I realized that its price movement is almost the same with btc so why mind diversifying your assets? The bottomline, I am no longer interested in any kind of alt Grin. I am already contented with my btc holdings, however I'm not closing my doors to them it's just so happen that I don't yet find a new promising one.
1309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Saving for a House! on: November 21, 2019, 03:13:11 PM
We are saving for a house down payment of 40K.  I don't want to leave it in the bank as there is a old judgement they can take any time so i want to store it in crypto as we grow it over the next 6 months.  Is a stable coin the best option?  Thoughts?
your mind is good for financial management.
I will also do as you do, because I also believe that the development of crypto in the future will definitely be better than now.
You only know it was a good move only before the amount of your money decrease. Your perspective will surely change once your money diminished drastically. Don't get me wrong, I love crypto and also believe to its future (btc to be more specific) but I will never ever place a life-changing amount of money (like the house downpayment) in a risky place and wipl not advice the same thing either. Maybe some of you think that converting your money into crypto for the meantime and hope to make profits at an instant is a good idea, but in reality it wasn't. It's not that simple! If pro daytraders still exert a lot of effort in order to make their money survive in the waves of price volatility then what more for a common hodler like you? I advice you to use your extra money for crypto investing and not the money you used for sustaining your needs.

Here's my question, if you continued investing your down payment and then unfortunately a sudden bearish season comes. What will you do now? Are you willing to sleep along the streets? I hope you get my point now Cheesy.

[snip]
Again, let's do the talk after several games. Their next game is against the Milwaukee Bucks. One of the tough teams in the league that needed a serious approach in terms of defense. Let's see how Melo will deal on this.
Okay, let's see his next performance. I really hope *crossing my fingers Melo could add more points to his team for their upcoming match against Greek Freak's team which is also one of the strong teams in Eastern. Honestly, this would be a tough one and I have a gut feel (just a gut feel so don't be triggered again, chill Cheesy) that he won't get a better result not only because of strong opponents but also due to homecourt disadvantage. It seems that everything is in favor of Bucks this time so Blazers should definitely make extra efforts if they want to win Smiley.
1311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: November 20, 2019, 05:46:10 PM
Is it really adaption which we are seeing or is it just because he is being surrounded by superstars?
Yeah! He adapt. Look at his present physique and compare it into his prime days, there's a big differenece right? He change his body because he knew that O'Neal kind of Centers (huge but slow) are out — versatile Centers are in today. Those players do not only protects along the paint but also fast, has a good perimeter range and in some cases some of them know how to shoot 3's Smiley. Don't get me wrong, I know that being in an All Star team like Lakers is a significant factor to be considered why Howard seems strong but still the majority of his improvements are due to his hardwork of cours.
We are the problem, not him. But he does not know that. He thinks he is the problem. He should just play the game.
You have a point mate but do you really think Melo got no problem at all? I don't think so. Okay let's disregard first the critics from the crowd. Melo did a 4/14 FG, turnovers and 2 offensive fouls (according to the post above). See? He is inefficient at the moment, so I think it is fair to conclude that he served more of a burden rather a relief for their team.
1312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: November 20, 2019, 12:42:51 PM
Maybe next game.
Or still maybe not Grin. How unfortunate tha his first chance was wasted. Well, there are still many chances left for him but I do hope he will not do a poor performance again because even small errors accumulate and become a huge bad impression in the end which lead him into termination (who knows?)

I don't see great development to be honest unlike to other oldies, Dwight Howard for example. Despite of his age and size, he learned to adapt. Props to his effort of making himself from just a "bulky man" to a more effective agile center. If Melo knows how to adapt too or make everything which levels him into youngsters' performance then he will not get bad comments at all.
1313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So traders, how much You lose? on: November 20, 2019, 05:46:39 AM

Having mistakes cannot be avoided if you're not having experience on things you didn't encounter. Basically it made us strong, so by the time you'll be mature enough on your decisions we won't fall losing huge amount of money in trading. It's not sure we will not lose, but at least at very little possibilities.
Very well said Smiley. Falling down along the road is part of everyone's journey but you should not stop moving because those are just challenges which makes our victory sweeter right after we reached our goal. Unless you already lose a lot of money or really don't see any improvements at all and as long as you love what you are doing, then there's no valid reason to stop ~ change my mind. Be careful always and happy earning everyone Cheesy.
1314  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So traders, how much You lose? on: November 20, 2019, 12:37:31 AM
Im sure the Beginners lose coz of FOMO.
Well, that's normal and very understandable because committing mistakes is really inevitable especially in this stage where they still lack experience and knowledge. Another one of the reasons why newbies lose a lot is because of panic selling. Their hearts are not yet fully prepared or didn't expect how brutal our market that's why they tend to sell once and for all even due to small downtrends. Nevertheless, it's not what matters the most. We should help them grow and don't hesitate to tell pieces of advice for them to have guidance along their journey. Always remember, the happier each one of us (especially newbies) here, the more our community remains strong Smiley.
1315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: November 19, 2019, 10:41:44 AM
Manny Pacquiao’s potential next opponents: Danny Garcia or Mikey Garcia – says MP rep
Mikey Garcia? I heard it somewhere before, now I wonder if their family is correlated to one another? Huh Anyway, one with Puerto Rican blood and one with Mexican, sounds familiar isn't it? Yeah! Pacquiao demolished a lot of boxers coming from those races Cheesy. So let's see if they will be just added on Pacman's collection or will have a different fate. Actually, I'm getting excited to know if they can beat Manny's speed despite of his age.
1316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: November 19, 2019, 05:28:39 AM
Now that Manny has already tested what he can at his age, and we've seen during the interview that he really respect spence power as he felt it in the fight,
You seems confused mate, I think the one you are pertaining about is Thurman and not Spence Jr. Grin.
so maybe he will choose a fighter with lesser power but if they will consider the fans, Manny should fight Spence or Crawford so he could bring a good fight that everyone wants to see.
Let's take it easy. I know that Manny is willing to fight whoever served to him unlike other players who are very choosy (I'm not saying a boxer like Floyd lmao). If Garcia would be the next "victim" then so be it, I will be satisfied in their fight as long as more exciting fights to come for Manny (vs Maidana, Spence or Crawford) is a sure thing Cheesy
1317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I think all crypto is scam on: November 19, 2019, 12:21:33 AM
Despite this fact they cannot be adopted. Nobody wants to use them, there is no real need for them.
A team of good programmers could develop a blockchain which can replace banks and paper money
in a month. Another month for testing and another month for setting up nodes across the globe.
The main point behind all this is: who controlls these programmers?
Chill bro Grin, now we knew why you really hate alt. Yup! I think what you really mean is alt and not cryptocurrency in general. Though they got similarities to bitcoin but still they are very far from it, because bitcoin got a higher possibility of going into mainstream compared on those tons of sh*tcoins in the market. And if you'll asky my own reason why I hate alts (the newer not the much stable), very simple, because it wastes not only your money but mainly your time and hopes which really sucks Sad.
1318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: November 18, 2019, 10:41:04 PM
The Bucks is still an immature team compared to more veteran team, they will most likely choke during playoffs or even in a crucial matches. I think they will reach the finals only if they can acquire veteran players who can lead them during clutch times.
A little bit harsh but true anyways Grin. Actually, I still can't believe that Raptors able to beat them last year's conference and I know some of you might agree with me. Well, that's normal but I hope they are now growing further. For me, Bucks don't necessarily need veteran players, they can be veterans on their own instead.
After they loss against the Raptors, that's the time I was convince that they are not a championship caliber team.
Sorry but I disagree with you mate, losing on others doesn't necessarily mean you and your team don't have the championship caliber team. It's just so happened that other team (like Raptors) got better strategies for winning. Here's another example, look at the present situation of GSW, they are at the very bottom. So it's fair to conclude that they don't have the caliber of a true champion? Of course not! Cheesy
1319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: November 18, 2019, 11:41:04 AM
I think it's group B that's more exciting because of the teams that has TI experience. With Alliance, VICI gaming and Fnatic banging heads in Chengdu major. Oh by the way, OG does not join this major and I think it would be exciting for everybody since Ana and topson are not joining.
Yeah, this will be exciting because there is no one who can dominate them all lol Grin. Expect that there will be a close match between  each one of them. Anyway, another thing that pokes my attention is about the inspiration of Team Unknown for their logo, it looks like an ancient Pokemon for me (hayy childhood memories).

On the other hand, it looks like TNC became better after Kuku left their team huh. That's good for them because actually what I expected from the beginning is that they have the tendency to collapse due to poor chemistry but guess what, I'm all wrong Cheesy. Seems that kpii and March suits very well, they should keep up the good work to maintain their lead.

I know most wont agree with me but these 2 team dominate the game when they want to
And I'm one of those people (peace yow Grin).Okay that's the spirit! But I wonder why Nuggets? What do you find special from them aside from Jokic? Smiley
