1301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: January 15, 2023, 09:59:01 PM
I think sport betting will be too complicated for the AI to bet on because there are numerous types of betting. Even at that, it would require a techie to be able to configure the model to make predictions.
I have never used it though, so I am just assuming that these are the likely drawbacks for using AI for prediction.
1302  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: copytrading on: January 15, 2023, 09:41:20 PM
According to my own observations, when I copy the trades of experts, they end up losing more than 50% of my trades.
Personally, I like to trade alone.
The exoert traders use extremely high leverage when trading short-term, and if you use a stop loss of at least 50%, you simply cannot complete their trades with your money still in tact. I find this too risky for my liking. I'm still not ready to take the risk of copy trading.
1303  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: January 15, 2023, 09:01:46 PM
A side job actually makes life comfortable. A side job is like a two-factor-authentication. A side job protects you from raining days. It gives you confidence and hope that the next meal is assured in this inflation driven economy.
I can go on and on about the benefits of a side job, but I will stop here for now. A job is a sure way to financial stability, but it is dependent on how financially prudent you are.
1304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keep your emotions balanced especially regarding Bitcoin on: January 15, 2023, 08:52:01 PM
The price is not so much of a concern to me as I stopped being bothered by it sometime ago. I focus my energy and emotions on some other profitable stuff going on in the crypto world.
I saw that there has been a pump in price. This is good but I am still indifferent to it. Because once you do, you become a pawn in their invisible game.

1306  Economy / Economics / Re: Every passing year seems progressively worse on: January 14, 2023, 08:50:58 PM
We're now entering 2023, and things aren't looking any better. Inflation keeps worsening, energy and oil prices are extremely volatile, while in our case in Greece and Italy, despite MWH being the cheapest it has been since the invasion, we're holding the record for the most expensive energy prices.

On top of that, a few days before 2023, half of the U.S.A. is suffering a terrible blizzard, with temperatures even reaching as low as -50C. Climate change is real, and it's only going to get worse in the following years.

I'm not sure if everything has gone downhill in the past few years or if I'm overexaggerating and making it sound worse than it really is. Perhaps my sitting all alone in my bed on New Year's Eve isn't helping.

Anyway, happy new year to everyone and good luck on your bitcoin endeavors!
I witness it occurring. Decade after decade, year after year. People become more reliant on technology as society develops through technological advancement dehumanized.
Being born in 1970 and having spent my formative years in the 1970s, the best decade ever, makes me very thankful.
Even the 1980s weren't all that horrible. However, things have only gotten worse since then.
1307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 14, 2023, 08:33:27 PM
Manchester City could not score because Manchester United did not give them a chance to score. They applied the same pressure that Manchester city usually applies when they play other teams and it paid off. Manchester United will have a shot at winning the title if the leaders of the league loss tomorrow. Another result that is shocking is that of Liverpool that lost to a team no one expected could win them. Liverpool and Chelsea are not having a great season.
Even though Manchester United won the game in the second half, the first half was the most memorable to me. Clear game play, fluid transitions, and accurate passing were used to find weaknesses in the City defense.
Both Casemiro and Fred were excellent. wonderful pushing and defense. In the final minutes, Manchester United's players gave City very little opportunities and took the strain in defense.
1308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 14, 2023, 08:15:34 PM
Sevilla are a big club in the Spanish league and it is so disappointing how they have declined this season, talking about team performance and getting good results. I read they are sitting somewhere around if not 17th position and I keep wondering how it got so bad but I am still believing things can change. They will try to boost their morale with a victory against Girona. I am hoping they will not let me down this time.
This Sevilla reeks of Second since the League began. I already warned and many around here called me exaggerated.
And the worst thing is that it seems that the board does not care, a single signing in winter with the team risking its life. Shameful. By the way, Nianzou's boot-twister cost 20 million.
All the work done in recent years, with several Champions classifications in a row, thrown away in a few months.
1309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Times when I visit casinos Versus When I don't on: January 14, 2023, 07:44:53 PM
I learned my lesson the hard way. Gambled to get my mind off a personal issue.
Didn't care if I won or lost I just wanted to pass time and forget about my sorrows. I deep hands into funds budgeted for something else and didn't care about anything.
Little did I know that I was making matters worse for myself. I lost a lot of money. And when I signed out, I was felt much worse than when I signed in.
1310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 14, 2023, 04:07:48 PM
Yesterday's match Napoli Vs Juventus confirmed several theses. Napoli are as strong as ever and if they don't win the Italian championship this season, it will be a big surprise for me. Juventus, in turn, in recent matches recorded better results than the form of the team would indicate and with a stronger opponent than Cremonese or Udinese, it was impossible to hide it. In today's matches, I bet on the victory of both teams from Milan.
Juventus loss was quite obvious from the start. In the starting lineup, there was no rabiot , mckennie , and Milik.
How did they even expect to go against a team like Napoli and expect to win with the aforementioned players missing?
No doubt, Napoli win go on to eventually win the Serie A and Champion's league.
Hoping to see more magic from Kvara, Osimhen, and  Kim Minjae in their coming games.
1311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 13, 2023, 06:06:01 PM
Sevilla's performance this time was unexpected, because they were unable to keep up with matches in La Liga, even though last season Sevilla was a team to be reckoned with and became a competitor to Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. Even in the 2020-2021 season Sevilla managed to finish in the top four of the standings and became a strong club at that time.
La Liga fans will be more than disappointed with Sevilla's for this season.
They are currently in the 17th position on the table and struggling. The manager should advantage of the transfer window to remove players that are holding the club back and sing in top quality players that would restore the glory of the club. If they do this, then we have hope that their position on the table may improve maybe they may end up in top 10.
1312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 13, 2023, 05:47:01 PM
Chelsea have suffered three consecutive defeats from all competitions, Felix's debut has exacerbated the situation of Chelsea losing position and his first debut was very ironic because of a red card in the second half. If the next match cannot prove Chelsea is still the best team for the premier league this year then Potter will be reviewed or replaced to restore the confidence of his supporters in The Blues.
Losing game after game feels at this point kind of inevitable and our fate. This is just more than a Potter issue. It is more of a team thing. Injuries is messing up the team.
Imagine getting a losing the game and getting an injury and a red card all in one game what is the hope for the next match. From a goalkeeper to a clinical goal scorer and full back, Chelsea needs them.
1313  Economy / Economics / Re: These Are the Top 10 Most Profitable Side Hustles in 2023 on: January 13, 2023, 05:45:38 AM
The lack of rigorous training required for entry makes these side businesses beneficial. Additionally, it will only take a few weeks to pick up and begin going.
Flipping sofas online has been one of my side businesses since last year. I search online and even offline for folks who wish to give away their used sofas. Aside from possibly in my neighborhood, I mainly locate them on Facebook Marketplace. I purchase them for nearly nothing, clean them up, and then relist them on Facebook Marketplace.
I sell them there for a decent profit.
1314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & Anonymity on: January 13, 2023, 05:15:36 AM
2) How do we continue to remain anonymous while trading bitcoins?
Bitcoin transactions are pseudonymous rather than truly anonymous. Because of this, the recipient of a bitcoin payment will be able to identify your bitcoin wallet address.
They can also learn more information about your bitcoin account once they have this information. Nobody wants the specifics of their bitcoin account to be known to others. You can utilize a bitcoin mixer to genuinely maintain your anonymity.
Using a bitcoin mixer, then, will allow your transactions to continue to be untraceable. Users can hide the connections between their Bitcoin addresses and real-world identities by mixing their bitcoin.
They can utilize Bitcoin more privately as a result of this.
1315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still holding your coins #btc on: January 13, 2023, 04:52:28 AM
So am curious to know if everyone is still holding or have chicken out and sold theirs.

For me, the best passive income approach is holding bitcoin.
Why, knowing that I will eventually make money, would I not want to hang onto my bitcoin? Regardless of how 2022 turned out, everybody who has played this game knows that bitcoin's value will increase, largely due to how scarce it is.
My pretty straightforward plan for bitcoin in 2023 is to purchase more, transfer them from an exchange to a secure wallet, and then watch it rise.
1316  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reasons why the 95% of future traders lose all of their money on: January 12, 2023, 08:38:36 PM
1.   Psychological – Trading is inherently risky; futures traders should be aware that no trade has a guaranteed outcome. When you put a trade, you are correspondingly accepting the risk but that’s where the problem comes in. All of the traders are taking the risk but are they accepting that the trade has a non-guaranteed outcome? The answer is No. Consistent traders are aware that there is no sure profit or magic in trading. They embrace the risk where if they lose, it is okay for them because they know that there is no guaranteed outcome.
I know why I lost some time ago- greed that made me increase the size of my position beyond my capacity.
The thing was I understood that I wasn't supposed to over increase my size and position. I couldn't control the risk with the position size, and I did lost a huge chunk of my portfolio.
1317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 12, 2023, 08:49:10 AM
Xavi has found a potent potion in defence, the combination of Kounde, Araujo, Christensen and Balde made the defense even stronger. Atletico have experienced how difficult it is to penetrate Barcelona defense when escorted by these four players.
Barcelona have improved since being held to a draw by Espanyol, Xavi began to form a solid defense due to mistakes that have been made. Barcelona is already three points ahead of Real Madrid, Xavi will continue to try to maintain his team's performance to keep his position safe from Real Madrid's pursuit.
Hopefully Xavi will continue to elevate FC Barcelona.
Both patience and time are required. According to my estimation, the team won't reach its pinnacle for about four seasons. It's similar to seeing Arsenal two years ago when all of their young players.
All of the players for example Ansu, Balde, Gavi, and some others were losing a ridiculous number of balls, and for some reason.
I can clearly recall how terrible Frankie was playing at that time.
1318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 12, 2023, 08:04:42 AM
In the next match Napoli will face another strong team, that is Juventus what do you think  will Napoli get the 3rd defeat ?
We know that Juventus is the team with the most ambition to catch Napoli and so far Juventus have done it perfectly
If Juventus wins then the point difference is 4 points meaning that Napoli is really not safe.
This match is significant. Napoli are the clear favorites in this matchup, as we all know.
Additionally, Juventus has now won 8 straight games in Serie A. I'm delighted Napoli beat Sampdoria after losing to Inter, something I remember being quite sad about. They still need to get back into shape, though.
Napoli hasn't lost any of their last three home games against Juventus, and they haven't lost at home either, thus I believe that gives them the advantage over Juventus. In football, though, anything may happen at any time. Juventus now has the top defense in the league and has been playing incredibly well. I don't know who the winner will be at the end of the match.
1319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it becoming a thread for casinos refusing paying very huge winnings? on: January 12, 2023, 07:43:15 AM
What got me worried isn't just the winning but why are casinos getting away without paying players their exactly winnings with some shitty excuses ?
Contrary to popular belief, casinos don't have an endless supply of cash nor do they have vaults filled with millions of dollars like many believe.
Casinos have been designed so that you should lose instead of them. It should be you who suffers financial loss, not them.
To be safe, the majority of them contain a warning that reads, "Malfunctions Void Winning."
And when you sue them, the judge will rule in their favor because it is supported by the law. The gambler suffers two losses.
1320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 12, 2023, 06:57:09 AM
Small rumor from Spain.
Real Madrid wants Harry Kane for the next season.

Not sure it could be a good move, does Benzema leave the club?

Also, Kane is not so young anymore 100m for an almost 30yo player?
Kane is a world class player who is underrated. Because he plays for the Spurs, most people might not realize this, but he really is.
Kane would have been a good Benzema replacement, but his age and cost are a problem.  I imagine him playing for the team, this will be a big boost for Endrick. Endrick can understudy him, and it would in the long run be good for his development in the team. In addition to the anticipated signing of a striker, Madrid should consider adding quality players to their CBs and fullbacks as well.
