1361  Economy / Services / [HIRING] Bitcoin Blogger for CoinConnect.org on: January 09, 2012, 10:28:07 PM
Hello

I am looking for someone who is Bitcoin/Tech savvy who would be interested in making some extra coins. I need a full time Blogger to run a Bitcoin related Blog.

I am willing to pay 0.25 BTC per Article to start out for decent articles, if you show some talent and get some followers we could raise that quite a bit. The sky is the limit and is up to you. Must be your own articles you cant just cut and paste them from some place else.

PM or email tom@coinconnect.org

1364  Economy / Goods / [WTS] Saphire 6870s VGC $150 Each Shipped 310+Mhash Each on: January 09, 2012, 08:20:52 PM
Hello

In my continued quest to upgrade all my rigs to 5870s or better

I have two more cards up for sale

these are Saphire 1gb 6870

Purchased brand new from TigerDirect in July

They still work/look brand new

I still have the original boxes which also look brand new

the fans have never been set above 50%

Always mined these at 990/180 clocks

which is not pushing them all the way - you can clock these up to 1012 and they will mine stable

310Mhash each easy

$150 Shipped (cheap parcel post shipping)

if you want Priority with tracking you pay actual flat rate shipping cost

(its like $10.00 usa and $27.00 international)
something close to that

Bitcoin payments only please

I have lots of recent and verified transactions

interested parties should PM
thank you.

Lol
Your the one that told me that
1368  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Electricity cost where you live/mine? on: January 09, 2012, 06:14:35 PM
I think a lot of people here dont even know how to read the bill properly

you cant just take the actual electric rate you have to add all the delivery charges, taxes and fees and then you get your actual rate

the actual electricity it self is very cheap, its the delivery charges and other fees are much higher

your absolutely right

its crazy man - you get involved with an alternative coin and people are super critical of your every move.

I have seen all kinds of people give affiliate links for Tradehill.com and have NEVER EVER seen anyone get accused of being a scammer for doing so.

darn it just when I thought I was going to get to sit at the cool kids table!
1373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cablepair is now a devcoin administrator on: January 09, 2012, 10:59:28 AM
Cablepair is now a devcoin administrator:
http://devtome.org/wiki/index.php?title=Devcoin#Administration

His main duty is to determine if someone wrote enough stuff to earn devcoins by writing:
http://devtome.org/wiki/index.php?title=Earn_Devcoins_By_Writing

and if they asked for generation shares, he would add them to a devtome bounty list which would be added to the main bounty list. If they asked for bitcoins, he would have the option of sending them bitcoins and putting himself on the devtome bounty list for that transaction, or he could ask me to send the bitcoins, in which case I would go on the bounty list.

Also, when there is a fifth administrator, he will maintain a copy of the receiver files, like:
https://github.com/Unthinkingbit/charity/raw/master/receiver_6.csv

For all this work he will get an extra generation share for as long as he wants to be an administrator.

Anyone who has been on the bitcoinshare or devcoinshare list for a month and works well with others can ask to be an adminstrator at any time, and leave at any time. To get on one of the lists you can do some open source development, and/or you can write, or port over stuff you have written, at least a thousand words a month for devtome.

So, Cablerepair is the one determining who goes into the pool("Cablepair is now a devcoin administrator").  And, seperately, he is trying to use an affliate link to VIRCUREX.COM to scam some coins from everyone.    Ha, this time is NOT different.

LOL - no you are WRONG!

When did it become a freakin crime to give out an affiliate link? I mean seriously dude the reason all the exchanges have affiliate links is because people use them, its not a scam - most pools (even the big ones) if you look around you will find some where - where it gives a price of Bitcoin and you click on it and it goes to the pool ops affiliate link on an exchange. Some Bitcoin websites (that are advertised on this forum) make 90% of their money from affiliate links, you think when you go buy a Amazon gift card from spendbitcoins.com that he makes a lot of money off the sale of the card? Hell no - he makes his money when you go through his affiliate link to buy your stuff. People even have tradehill affiliate links in their signatures - this is common practice - you need to really freakin lighten up I mean seriously. Its not that big of a deal - you are the definition of a forum troll - you have nothing to do with a situation at all but you think its your business to pop in out of no where and start throwing around b.s. - your a clown and a troll - go take it some place else. Thank you.

1376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange your Devcoins for Bitcoins ! on: January 08, 2012, 07:04:00 PM
It's so awesome to see people mining Devcoins and supporting developers and funding projects! We love you miners!

It's nice to see the forum being abused for referral spam.

Spam it may be, but abuse hardly.

if tha is abuse that 95% of everyone on here, everyone on this forum is advertising one thing or another.

I am advertising and supporting the Devcoin exchange and yes I am providing my referral link just like every other pool op and many others do.

I posted it here in the Alt-Cryptocurrencies section because I figured it would be the only board it wold not be moved out of, if I have broken any rule of the forum please by all means delete it.

1378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / me so sad - me try to give affiliate link - me bad bad man on: January 08, 2012, 06:37:49 PM
if you would like to help me out by signing up with a VIRCUREX Account via my affiliate link, just like many other pool ops and web site owners have done and still do everyday, than you can click on this link below.

https://vircurex.com/register?referral_id=997-111

if you think that I should be ASHAMED of MYSELF because I tried to SCAM YOU BECAUSE I AM A BAD BAD MAN

than please visit our sponsor http://www.hunkmoney.com/

(damn can you people please lighten up? I mean like seriously.)

I have seen lots of people give TradeHill affiliate links - never seen anyone get accused of being a scammer for it. Please trolls go home. thank you.

yeah your right "mate"

ive never heard of those things

i guess youve never heard of the 80 plus certification standard

if you would like to read up on it

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/80_PLUS

basically it means you would be stupid as hell to spend over $200 on a PSU that is not certified 80 plus.
