361  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nefario GLBSE on: September 22, 2012, 07:30:40 PM
FWIW:

I remember when this happened, and I remember Nefario telling people NOT to buy stocks in GLBSE because at the time it was in fact a SCAM.

Nefario does not deserve a scammer tag and anyone with any sense knows this.

if Nefario made a promise he cannot "legally" keep than we need to as a community release him of this obligation because I do not believe for one second that he had any malicious intent what so ever.

Send the scammer tag mob someplace else today because Mr. Nefario is as legit as they come and he has contributed much more to this community than most of us.
362  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 50 BTC BOUNTY: BITCOIN OPEN CART PAYMENT MODULE! on: September 22, 2012, 04:07:12 AM
gangsta.

I will test this tomorrow and if it works I will pay the bounty promptly.

thanks

363  Other / Off-topic / Re: [EDIT: NEVERMIND] First picture of BFL ASIC? on: September 22, 2012, 04:04:11 AM
the logo on the box was photo-shopped taking total credibility away from this.

do NOT worry, I am sure when BFL is ready to release photo's of their ASIC line of products it will not be found by some scrupulous google'r in a secret place

I am sure they will announce it in grandiose fashion for the world to see.

Your email did not get a response, because you just sent it yesterday, and unfortunately I had to take a day off from EVERYTHING yesterday to deal with some family issues.

But to answer the big question your order has shipped.

, and just for future reference to future customers, although most of you are used to getting email responses from me almost instantly on most days. On occasion I do get behind a day or even two so if your email goes without a response for 1 day please do not freak out. I am just a little behind...

Um, was that to me? I didnt order anything and didnt ask about a placed order so think you have the wrong person. Sent email on Sept 20 1:30am and used the contact form (I think) a week previous.

Your sarcasm isnt appreciated.

no that was not to you, didn't you say that you had NOT ordered anything?

Although my sarcasm is seldom (under) appreciated, I do not see how you could even get one stretched speck of sarcasm from that post.

as far as the ModMiner Quad trade in program it goes like this:

a) I am currently exploring avenues to resell these devices for other uses (already have one company I am in talks with who may have a use for them)
b) and am also exploring ways to resell the refurbishes FPGA chips themselves as they do have some value.

I would like to place the ModMiner Quad rebate for bASIC at some where between 30-50% but do not  have enough information to tell you this for certain.

365  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How long does BTCFPGA.com take to confirm orders? on: September 21, 2012, 10:40:58 PM
its really not an astronomical amount

no where near what BFL has taken in on pre-orders.

based on the amount of chips that are currently being fabricated if you order now you can still get delivery by December.

thanks

369  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bit-Pay.com Down for days now? on: September 19, 2012, 11:23:16 PM
I updated the OpenCart module code to restore functionality, so those with opencarts should check out this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=110690.0

I will buy all of hashking's debt if he signs a contract agreeing to stay away from Bitcoin and this forum for the rest of his life and his IP address is perm banned.
371  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] A working BitPay OpenCart module on: September 19, 2012, 11:04:19 PM
and I got a confirmation email from Tony
it is working

372  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: butterfly labs is definitely mining with those ASICs at the moment on: September 19, 2012, 10:51:30 PM
Please gentlemen can we please cut the bullshit?

I mean seriously, this argument is pointless.

If BFL Is mining with ASICs on main-net its for one reason and one reason only.

To make an incredible profit.

It would be very simple for someone to make an alternate "testnet"

that way BFL could test their asics without disrupting the difficulty of main-net or test-net.

However it would be INCREDIBLY profitable for someone like BFL to "test" ASICs on main-net and this is the reason they would do so.

374  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitPay.com is unavailable - Official Statement on: September 19, 2012, 10:40:11 PM
I think I got your patched open cart extension "working"

I did a test transaction, and send the coins - although I have not seen the coins show up in my bit-pay account yet. hopefully I am not out these coins.

Transaction ID: f5cf1ad733e935232d920e4033ee447ffb74e37a36750e06bff631e90988f1be

As far as an opencart / bitcoind extension this is something that is really needed my friend.

and who needs a simply ftp and done install?

I have setup, modified, and transacted thousands of bitcoins in transactions with that very primitive zencart module that has been around forever

git://github.com/jalder/Zen-Cart-Bitcoin-Payment-Module.git

Yes we all love Bitpay (too much apparently)

but we really really really need a way to be able to conduct retail transactions with Bitcoin without being dependent on a third party
and I am SURE this is the way Satoshi wanted it. To be able to conduct these transactions on our own without being dependent on anyone else...

think about it bro.

this did NOT work for me

I have since  had to take tens of thousands of dollars in transactions manually

and have offered a 50BTC  bounty for someone to develop an opencart plugin that would interact directly with Bitcoind

I am sure something like this could be very simple to do, but it is beyond  my expertise.

376  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] A working BitPay OpenCart module on: September 19, 2012, 09:53:38 PM
I tried this, and it did not work.

BFL, Inaba, hugs  and kisses to both of you.

But Please.

Do not you dare test a difficulty changing amount of hashing power on mainnet.

THIS IS WHAT TEST NET IS FOR.

USE IT.

378  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: High Efficiency FPGA & ASIC Bitcoin Mining Devices https://BTCFPGA.com on: September 19, 2012, 05:38:55 PM
I think I have all email's answered

if you have not received a response from me , and you are expecting one please email me right now.

thanks!
379  Bitcoin / Project Development / Bounty PAID: BITCOIN OPEN CART PAYMENT MODULE! on: September 19, 2012, 04:35:39 PM

Bit-pay has been DDOS'd for awhile now, and a lot of us merchants who depend on them are losing money.

I am personally offering a bounty of 50 BTC for someone to develop an opensource payment module for Opencart that will interact with Bitcoind.

There already is a payment module like this for zencart but it is very very primitive.

This Module should:

Allow to be installed like regular opencart plugin
interact with Bitcoind on local or remote server
be able to convert prices from USB to BTC correctly for invoice
should be able to generate new btc address for every transaction
should be completely integrated with Opencart

if any other merchants would like to contribute to this bounty please feel free.

thank you.

@cablepair
From me also first sincere condolences.
Monday i wrote an email with questions and in my order last week too, but unfortunately, still no answer.
I think you were just more important things, but would be nice if you could not forget it.

Thank you!

Yesterday I was a little behind schedule but am getting caught up today. I will make sure I will answer your email right now.

thanks
